BLOB — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

A great website

Tania — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I've got all your books and they are making my GCSE revision so much easier-understanding is the first step to learning it!! Thanks for all the help, not many revision guides make you laugh as well. Hope you're gonna create some for A-level now.

Rebecca Simpkin — Bishop's Stortford , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Hi, The books are possibly the best revision guides around. Colourful, easy to read etc. But my only major complaint is that you don't put the answers in the back of your workbooks, which to me defeats the point of having a workbook. Even if you don't want to put them in the back of the workbooks, you could at least have a specific website, where we can go and then print the answers off.

jenny nanalal — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Great revision aids - used by our KS2 pupils to achieve 94%+ Level 4 passes in SATs for the last 3 years ! Wow !

I.M.Bolton — Lower Farm Primary School, , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think that your cgp revision books are fab so does my dad and all my friends. As we all know revision is the pain of all students lives but your cgp books have eased the pain. They are easy to understand and plesant to look at, most books are boring with either black and white pictures or sometimes the same, dull, repeated colours on every page. Your books have definately brightened up revision and my percentege in tests. I don't know if you already have an educational websit like BBC Knowledge, if you do then please can I get to know the address. If you don't it's an idea to get/make one. Thanks, Vandhana

Vandhana Varadharajan — Finchfield , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Stephanie Roberts — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Books are great for teaching. Could you bring out one on Latin (it's impossible to find an easy guide to that).

S.Lindsay — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I have just purchased a Science KS3 book from school and I am finding it very helpful in revising for my summer exams. It contains everything I need to know and is presented in a clear, funny and easy to understand way! It would be good if we could buy revision guides for geography, R.E. and other subjects though. Your website is great and I have just ordered more books to help me with my revision. I am very impressed! Thanx CGP!

Jo — High Wycombe , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Mrs C Brighty — Richmond , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I see you've had three requests for a music book in the last 3 days, as a music teacher who has used your books while dabbling with a bit of science teaching on the side, I think this would be brill!!

P — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Really fabulous books to help the whole family through the mysteries of modern education!

Louise Freisenbruch — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think the books are really good. They make it easier to learn and understand things. Cool!!!!!!

Natasha Beardmore — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Your Revision Guides are generally pretty good BUT at the bottom P56 of “GCSE Double Science Chemistry, the Revision Guide, 3rd Edn”, it says: > (a) History of science IS relevant - maybe it would be a distraction to introduce the social implications when you're trying to learn physics / chemistry BUT a bit of history of how the ideas in science developed is helpful - it gives a coathook in your mind to hang the ideas on (see for example "Physics for Poets" by Robert H. March;) (b)

Robert H. Olley — Reading , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

CGP's books are extreamly useful and present vital information in a fun and interesting manor. Well worth my £2.00!!

Claire O'Gorman — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I'm a student at huddersfield Uni and I am taking a module in spanish. When i was doing my GCSE's I used your GCSE maths book. ( I did french gcse and now at uni I have some French freinds, it really helps, not just for GCSE students but for people with an understanding french it is usefull

Ali Ahmed — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

alyson shipp — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Do you have a catalogue you can send to me,as I am interested in purchasing some of your books for my children.

Mr F.Reant — Staffs , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I like CGP books. I dropped in just to browse because my son has recently been asked to buy KS2 Science The study book from his school and since he has brought it home, it has proved to be a good way of covering all the topics they've learnt at school. Therefore, I wanted to see what the books were like on other subjects.

Mrs Priti Thakerar — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Really good books not just full of boring facts but funny things as well.

Melody WOODS — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Great books !

abbey — , uk — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I've already left a message, but I forgot to say that I think your GCSE Maths revision guide could do with a bit more colour and a few more piccies!

Simon Pinder — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Your books ahve helped me to revise for my Sats really well. The good sense of humour and jokes makes it a lot easier to understand. My favourite bit in any of the books is in the science book where you tell us that you will usually find muscles in pairs round a joint! I don't think my parents would really approve of that!! The acid test has also enabled me to know that I can't just glance over a page and have learnt it. I usually have too go back at least once before I get the acid test right!

Robyn Thorley — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

The books really helped me when revising my gcses but why are there no A level books available?

liv hookes — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think that this is a very good website for a brilliant cause! I think it is absolutley wonderful that people will publish books for the younger generations so that they can pass their exams with great marks with making revision easy and fun! I have got one of the revision guides from CGP via my school, and I think that they are brilliant! If it wasn't for that, my biology teacher would have killed me and put me in detention for not passing! Thank you.

Vicki Hughes — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

cool books with helpfull tips but some mistakes!!!!

becky — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Carlene ReidMansfield — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think your books are brilliant. They are good value for money and the books are also humorous in places. I will serenely keep buying you books.

Adam Robert Woof — Kendal , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I have to say that revision has never been so easy before. I'm taking my GCSEs in a couple of weeks, and your books have proved invaluable to me. May I suggest a specific guide for geography case studies, and perhaps a Music Revision Guide (if there's enough demand). Keep up the good work, and keep those witty one-liners coming (contrary to what people may think!)

Simon Jacobs — Cornwall , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

you books are confusioning espcillay the ks3 maths level 5-7

carley croft — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Cath Horton — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think your books are brilliant and they have really helped me! P.S. A Spanish revision guide would be useful!

Emma Quinlan — St Albans , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Have you ever thought of publishing some display posters to support the magnificent books you produce. I would certainly like to be able to use them in my classroom!

Judy Cane — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Please send me the catalogue !!!

Penny Harkess — Kent , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Do you do homework books for English/Literacy?

Lawrence Weston, — Bristol , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I thought that the Key stage 3 SCIENCE books were excellent, but the quizes were a bit hard on the end of each topic, some of the info in the level 5-7 book was also in the extension paper as i did that as well and am glad i revised out of the book. Tar!!

Anthony McGeeney — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Dr Tom Blanchard — MRC Laboratories Fajara , The Gambia — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I love your books can I have a poster because I love it so much please from your biggest fan phil oddy

phil oddy — chalfont st peter , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I found your guides really useful when studying for my GCSE's and was wondering if you did anything similar for A'levels as I'm desparate for some good revision guides!

Claire Latimer — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Interesting book selection - what about cookery!!! Are there any online resources for GCSE eg sample questions etc? I have my English GCSE in a week or so and I'm panicking! Help me! Anyway, good geog book - makes the subject ever so slightly less dull!

Lisa — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I'm in year 10 and I already can't live without the science book. thanks CGP! good luck to everyone taking exams at the mo!

anna — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I would like to know if you have developed any books for A level as you have done for the GCSEs

Mr Jayantilal Patel — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Your books are invaluable. Doing the London Board I find the Chemistry and Physics books really helpful, however, the Biology book doesn't completely follow the Syllabus. I am doing GCSE Business Studies at Higher level (NEAB) and would really benefit from it if you produce a revision book for this subject.

Jen Maddy — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Hi! I've found your revision books a lot of help for the KS3 SATs tests. They are funny (most of the time!) and although when we first got them it looked very bright, it really does help to have colour. The first thing we noticed was the comments on the back 'Shake well before use' and 'Our products are not tested on animals, just children'. Even our maths teacher laughed and that's a rare experience. Thanks again!!!! I'll be back to you for GCSE books.

Aislin Mageean — Camberley, Surrey , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

How about gcse revision guides for spanish, bus studs and R.E ? they would be very popular i think

l.v — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

An excellent service - great value books. Always have been!

Ken Jobson — Durham , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Hi! I've just loged on. I think It's great! Wish me good luck for my sats next week. I have read one book and It's great. It's the science one. I would like to read the other two, too. Bye!!!!! P.S. Thank you for bringing the books out!

Faith Aldridge — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

*Hollie* — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

These key stage three books are really helpful - especially the maths ones but it would also be good if you put in proper test questions in the revision parts instead of making us recite rules.

Katie — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

these books are GREAT!!!!!!!!! can you please write one on 'A midsummer night's dream' (like the other ks3 books on shakespeare). that would be REALLY good. thankyou again, phoebe

phoebe — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

You really helped me get through my exams thank you so much. I love you all!!!

Ellen Pope — Wolverhampton , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think your revision books are all brill!! I'm just desperately hoping that you'll make GCSE Office Applications, GCSE Italian and GCSE Music books in time for me to revise for my exams in 2001. Maybe some details of what's included in each book would be useful. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK!!

Hannah — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Excellent revision guides. Very well explained. Maybe start a Science workbook.

Joanne Camp — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Is there any way u can liven up the maths guides as they seem a bit complicated and boring!? I have a question which i hope you or anyone else can answer, do you have the exam answers to the science GCSE workbooks on the internet? And do you know of any websites where i can do real mock GCSE papers and get it marked to get a prediction? Keep up the good work with your excellent books! Much Luv, Cat

HI I THINK THE BOOKS ARE GOOD BUT I WOULD LIKE A KEY STAGE 3 HISTORY BOOK PLEASE THANK YOU BYE

becca — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Hi! I'm 15 and revising hard for my science modules in June. I was wondering if you had any WJEC Modular books on sale and if you are going to publish a few of your books in Welsh in the near future. It would be nice to have a Welsh Chemistry revision book instead of having to translate to from the English one all the time. Apart from that your books are fantastic and you really show "Lett's" how to do it. Also if you could recommend a history revision guide on ' Hitler and the rise of the Nazis ' and 'Crime and Punishment' I would be most grateful. If you can could you please reply to this e-mail. Thank you.

Mathew Rees — Ceredigion, Wales , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Dear Sir/madam, I have been home educating my daughter for nearly 2 years, in sept. 2000. she will be at year 8 stage. I have found your books of immense help, they are put together superbly, and we both enjoy using them. I wish to ask if you have a catalogue which I could look at. Yours faithfully, Juliet Charman

juliet charman — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think your books are great. I think I almost have one of each available for KS1 through to KS3 and they are invaluable. As an ICT co-ordinator I look forward to when you start to bring out some IT revision aids for common software packages - is there any chance of this happening. Also how can I order your new literacy books for KS2 they don't appear on the schools online order form.

Mel Howes — Twickenham , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Your revision books are great. Do you have any Music and Business Studies books, if not I think you should publish some.

I think that CGP revision books are excelent and help you to revise for the dreded EXAM!!! I bought the key stage 2 book last year and the key stage 3 book this year (both through school). I think they're a must for any student doing exams. So, GET OUT AND BUY ONE!!!

Sareh Heidari — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think that C.G.P Books are a good way to study because i found our books at school frustrating because i am taking a level 6 test for the year 6 S.A.T.S and they did not give me the right revision for what i need. THANKS i wish everyone GOOD LUCK for any exams they need to take.

Becky — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

This range of books is really good, but i was disappointed to find out that there isn't a PE GCSE guide. PLEASE PUBLISH ONE BEFORE NEXT SUMMER!!!!

Charlotte Smith — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I am a GCSE student and would like to say how brilliant the books are to aid my revising. The simple terms and drawings make revision easier and fun Thanx- let's hope I get the marks! Emma

Emma Roberts — Norwich , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Great books. They're really helpful and fun to revise. Value for money. However, could you publish some past exam papers for the subjects????

Simon Alexander Nico Ong — Dartford , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think that your books are soooo good. Before i got them I was really stressed out about my sats but now I am sooo confident. I understand evey word of them. Thank you P.S Even my dad thinks they are cool and that is a major compliment!

Samantha Crossley — Woking , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Looking forward to using the maths classbooks for each year group in KS 2. Very pleased with format and flexibility of Revision Books for Y6. Will be interested in new publications.

MRS CATHERINE COOPER — CHESTER-LE-STREET , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Excellent value for money and the Year six children love them (from a year 6 teacher!!)

Barbara Milne — Camberley , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Your Key Stage 3 books are great and I got high grades because of them, but The History G.C.SE the American West and Medicine Through Time has alot of facts but not a lot of detail e.g women through out medicine, but for £2 from my school is great.

Greeny — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

The revision books weigh a ton when you buy them from school and are carrying them home!! But thay are very good and they help alot!

Molly Parker — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

can you please send me a full price list for gcse books thank you

gurdeep — coventry , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think this is a very good oportunity for older people to understand what they are going to do in their GCSE's, which instead of a C which they expected they got an A, good luck to everyone doing GCSE's and i hope you all do well!!!

Kate — Berkshire , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

excellent books for the tuition service-any more in the pipeline?

RW Hamer — Bolton , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

My children have found KS3&4 extremely helpful. My son is now preparing for GCSE and he has asked for the appropriate guides,an indication of the level of importance he places on the assistance he got from them previously.

Noel McMenamin — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

My children have found these books very useful for revision and homework purposes. The prices are excellent.

Karen Last — Southend-on-sea , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think your books are colourful and amusing. However, I think that the answers should be provided because you don't know where you are going wrong. I would have liked more examples of exam papers and I found in parts the KS3 Maths a little confusing.

Emma — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I would like to be imformed if any RE,BUSINESS STUDIES or HOME ECCOMOMICS books are available.

Eva Rees — York , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I have bought most of the revision guides and workbooks for key stage 3 and i am very happy with the results in tests that i can acheive now.

Sheridan Armstrong — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Charlie Hutton — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

GREAT BOOKS, BUT PLEASE CAN YOU PRODUCE A BUSINESS STUDIES BOOK? IT WOULD BE REALLY HELPFUL.

Lucy — Surrey , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

YOUR BOOKS ARE REALLY COOL AND INTERESTING, THEY ARE NICE AND BRIGHT AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND. I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING MY YEAR 10 EXAMS AND THEY ARE REALLY USEFULL TO HAVE. KEEP ON PUBLISHING THEM THEY ARE WELL WORTH IT.

Kelly Coombs — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

It's Friday and the SATs are next week so me and my friends are revising every day with your marvellous study books. Your study books have allowed all of year 6 to learn new ways of remembering vital points in our SATs and even taught us new things that if we didn't know we would lose marks. bye Kayte

Kayte — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I love your revision guides. They are very useful and the colour copies are definitely the best.how long does it take for me to receive them after ive ordered them off the web?

Sarah Wollam — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Good but how do you get to revise and answer revision questions?????

Laura Godwin — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Please could you forward me a booklet, so i can order more of your books. Its not easy to find them in the high street stores. My son starts year 6 in September and i want him to have his own copies. The two books that i have managed to get are brilliant, they should be more widly avalible. thank you.

Mrs Walsh — Skelmersdale , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I thought your revision guide books were superb. Keep up the good work.

asma khan — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I find you books are the cheapest GCSE revision guides. They are the best as far as I am concerned. The presentation is the key. I am taking GCSE spanish but there is no book that you produce that covers this subject. Please could you make one by this christmas (THE MOCKS) thank you. Does it really cost a pound to send each book.  A deal would be nice, you know buy 5 pay P&P for three etc.

Danny Draper — london , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Hey everyone!! i study in england and im 17. We have your books and we are having our igcse's and i never go any where without the revision guides i just like very much especially the funny things in it like Cheeky bee stings finger, in neuron cell definitions and motor neurons and stuff its just so good, today i was reading the radiation part and it said "If u touch a radioactive substance without tongs, u must be some kind of idiot!! i was laughing really hard and most all of my friends say that the words underlined looks as if it is an internet link words!! anyway i really don't have a comment but the only thing is in easy or difficult parts the explanations are very short especially in physics the nuclear and electromagnetic radiation explanations are very short i still dun getit... anyway have a nice day ...

Togan Rona — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Anonymous — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Hi, We think your books are just GREAT!!! They help us loads with school work! Loreana Y4, Maria Y9 Hi to everyone who knows us!

Loreana Testa & Maria Mini — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I think your range of GCSE revision books are very interesting and impressive, but for other students like me, who are learning the non-major subjects, there aren't any revision guides around. I think that it would be a good idea if you were to release more guides for these subjects, such as Japanese, or Russian. It could also be very successful as there aren't any guides available from any other publisher either. Thankyou for reading.

Robert Rigby — Gloucestershire , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

I THINK YOUR BOOK'S ARE THE BEST .WE USED YOUR BOOK'S FOR WHEN WE DO ARE S.A.T.S ON THE 15.5.00

Nicole Hewitt — Coventry , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Lauren — hants , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Leanne Griffiths — Great Sutton , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Excellent books! I look forward to seeing more. Please send me a full catalogue. I teach children at all levels and several subjects.

Michael Nelson — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

please send details of any GCSE text books if you have any on the following subjects: business studies, econmics, geography, english lit. and lang. modern world history (NEB syllabi) I've recently bought your GCSE maths revision book for my son whom I teach at home and find it very helpful. Do you give any discounts for Tooting and Mitcham (Ryman League, division two) supporters ? Can you receive Capital Gold up north ?

m.evans — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

Have used and use your texts at all KS stages!. Wish to be kept up to date with new additions.

rich — , UK — 30 May 2000 at 17:07:00

The books are extremely good and the layout makes it easy to recall in an exam. The website is good but books should be sectioned into learning stages e.g. GCSE, KS 3, KS2 etc which would make it easier to look through instead of in subjects. The deliberate use of humour even makes you laugh sometimes. I think you could expand the range of books to include ones for Graphic Technology and Classical Civilisation (Pliny letterts, Virgil, Romans, Pompeii etc), an I.T (Information Technology) - which all GCSE students have to take. Also produce more of your books as in localbookstores etc they have almost run out. Also a little cheaper - they are £3.50 per book. But the range is excellent, keep it up.
