I would like to be able to go on your site and have a page where you have a few maths related questions to answer, is it possible?

kirsty parker — reading, berkshire , UK — 22 Dec 2000 at 19:18:00

Do you have any sample Science policies for primary school ? or any other websites that would be helpful ? I've never written a policy before. A colleague of mine in the sec.sch.gave me your e-mail add. They have purchased your Science bks. and find them to be very useful.

Yasmin Dadan — Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia — 21 Dec 2000 at 01:59:00

I have bought many of your books + it really helps as everything sticks in my head!

Lynsey Garrrat — , UK — 20 Dec 2000 at 14:59:00

The Revision Guides are great. I bought several for my son this summer while in the UK.

Debra Gravois — , USA — 20 Dec 2000 at 04:53:00

Please can you e-mail me some information on these revision guides as i whould like to buy some.

Ash Sewell — , UK — 19 Dec 2000 at 20:28:00

It would be nice to be informed that the Guest book should be the last rather than the first place to go, so that a comment might be meaningful!!!!

Mr. Alex Unsworth — , UK — 19 Dec 2000 at 13:46:00

We like your AQA Methods Revision Guide - when are you going to publish P1, M1 and S1 books. We would like to know so that we can sell them to our students (275 of them!)

Carole Davidson — The Sixth Form College, North , UK — 19 Dec 2000 at 13:28:00

Do you do a discount on private individuals buying a whole lot of books (ie for 10 subjects) in one go? Also when will you do books for CCEA GCSE Additional Maths and Triple Science with all three sciences separately? And I need to buy the answer books for Double science separately because my so-called school didn't sell them so the books were not much use to my brother last year. Thank you SGS!!

Julie — STRABANE, Co Tyrone , UK — 17 Dec 2000 at 21:19:00

your bookz r great & funny

amy ringrose — copthorne, west sussex , UK — 16 Dec 2000 at 19:26:00

I used these books when I was revising for my GCSE's and they helped me achieve A's and B's. But I was wondering if you have any plans to release an A level chemistry revision guide in the near future to help with my modules?

SARAH — , UK — 16 Dec 2000 at 16:05:00

I really love your great books. I am currently in year 10 and have recently purchased, Physics, Biology and Chemistry revision guides, they are bright, easy to follow and very very helpful. The one thing is that if you have Higher books they don't spend very long on a topic whereas if you have Foundation there is pages but if I want to take the Higher paper the revision guides won't have helped me very much, so don't take for granted that if we purchase the Higher books we know it all!! Apart from that they are very good also I have a Maths work book which helps me very well because I am not too good at Maths but it is laid out in straight-forward language which was helpful and useful! Can I take this opportunity to wish all at CGP Books a very Happy Christmas and New Year and keep up the brilliant work. P.s I got 94% on a Physics test on Electrical Circuits which was all thanks to you explaining parallel and series circuits!! Well Done Bye!!

Lou — , UK — 16 Dec 2000 at 15:25:00

I am learning english and I am going to sit my GCSEs in the summer of 2001. I find your books for the subjects that I am taking very helpful and easy to understand! They are great! Thank you very very very much!

Nickie Chow — , Hong Kong — 16 Dec 2000 at 15:17:00

I'd just like to say thank you, not that I believe that anyone who's involved in writing the books actually reads these little comments but if they do the comment at the start is directed at you, I got A*'s in maths and double science using your books for GCSE and I am very grateful, I have just purchased your new A-Level Mathematics book for OCR P1 and it looks as good as the old ones, however I'm taking Further Maths (Statistics 1 OCR), Physics (OCR) and Chemistry (Edexcel) so I will be forced into taking three modules in January without your help, the consequences could be disasterous. Keep up the good work especially in the subject specified above.

Daniel J Martin — , UK — 16 Dec 2000 at 10:38:00

Could you please please please write books on A-levels i.e Biology, Chemistry and Psychology as it would be very very very helpful, as the books that are in the shops now contain too much waffle. In the A-level Biology and Psychology books write books both on the factual information and the essays examples on each topic in both Biology and Psychology. In the chemistry books include lots of calculations and good examples. Thank you good bye ps how do you manage to sell the books very cheap and produce them using good bold colours and high quality paper. My teachers say its amazing.

Miss Maryam — , UK — 15 Dec 2000 at 23:13:00

whazzzzzap i brought the BIO,CHEM, PHYSIC from school they were so good and helpfull as a lot brighter and colourfull than my school books then again my school books have hardly anythin in them any way i thought they were so good i went and got a maths 1 aswell thx to the BIO book i could revise for it thx for helpin me

shaun kidsley — , UK — 14 Dec 2000 at 22:03:00

I love the books- they're really good cos they're easy to understand and teach you stuff you're not taught about in class! We should just learn these for the 2 years at GCSE and not bother doing folder-fulls of notes! Keep up the good work!!! P.S The books I have say that the books are £2+£1 for postage, so how come the're £3.50 on the net? Jus' wondering!!!

Sarah — Herefordshire , UK — 14 Dec 2000 at 19:25:00

These books are great - fun and easy to use. However, I was just wondering if you plan to bring out the books in any other subjects, such as religious education and Resistant Materials? Many thanx!

Garry Telford — Ross on Wye, Herefordshire , UK — 14 Dec 2000 at 19:11:00

We are a home educating family and saw your name on one of the lists we subscribe to. The books look interesting and we would like to know whether we would be charged the same prices as schools or, alternatively whether we would be entitled to a discount from the normal list prices? Thanks

Mr T.L. Sheppard — , UK — 14 Dec 2000 at 01:46:00

My son, just diagnosed with a form of dyslexia - he takes GCSEs next summer - loves your books, which I bought for him with some trepidation. He has asked me for one for each of his subjects. Don't suppose you do music GCSE and Religious Ed? London Board

Valerie E Stewart — Keswick, Cumbria , UK — 14 Dec 2000 at 00:28:00

this books r brill keep making them they will help loads of kids to pass exams. p.s me included

Craig Trodden — , UK — 13 Dec 2000 at 19:25:00

I purchased sets of the GCSE mathemetics workbooks etc., for each of my two daughters sitting their exams spring 2000. The daughter that religiously went through her book, gaining momentum from each correct answer that she had achieved for herself, gained a B grade. The daughter that couldn't be bothered to settle down to it properly gained a D grade. For all of those reading this with the intention of improving their grades the moral of this story is "if you really wish to do well you must put in the groundwork first" Good luck !

I already have the maths one but you only do P1 what about mechanics and p2 and for other people statistics. I really think you should do something about this. Thanx

Richard Parsons is a god! What would we do without him? (Love the Cows page in the AQA A level Methods book!)

John Clark — Hull , UK — 08 Dec 2000 at 19:50:00

I think the books are great and would be interested in seeing revision books being created for IT and IS. Have you thought about rearranging the earlier English books as workbooks for E2L students who arrive in the country at 16+. I think they could be very useful.

judith jakes — Wood Green, London , UK — 07 Dec 2000 at 23:44:00

If anyone is doing GCSE sciences GET THESE revision guides! They are the best around, have everything you need set out in a strightforward way that helps you revise SOOO well. I have the guides and workbooks for double award chem, physics and bio, and they're great. I haven't got them for any other subject, so i can't say about them, but if they're as good as the ones i have, get them too! ~Abby~

Abby Halon — , UK — 07 Dec 2000 at 22:43:00

do u do Spanish Revision Guides for GCSE Key Stage 4? I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD!

Maz — , UK — 07 Dec 2000 at 22:01:00

I'd just like to tell you that I find your books really easy to revise from and that i think that they are REALLY good value for money!

Carolyn Howe — Litlle Sandhurst, Berkshire , UK — 07 Dec 2000 at 21:46:00

Lucy — Worcestershire , UK — 07 Dec 2000 at 20:58:00

I was given a KS3 science book at school and found it very helpful and useful. On the back was an address so i thought i would come and check it out. cgp books are cool and i hope they make some more books. and i love the jokes on the back above the bar code.

Andrew Monk — Sutton In Ashfield, Nottingham, UK — 07 Dec 2000 at 17:31:00

Pam Smart — Radcliffe on Trent , UK — 07 Dec 2000 at 08:32:00

I enquired about A'Level maths books a month ago ( Your GCSE books were brill) however I was told you didn't do them. My college tutor now tells me that you had sent them evaluation copies about that time. Please tell your enquires staff the full and complete story, so that they can reply to emails accuarately!!!! When are you doing A' level M1 and S1 books. GCSE Electronics would be good. Also GCSE Welsh, unless there's a problem in England ;-)~

Chris Johnson — walsall, west midlands , UK — 06 Dec 2000 at 14:06:00

My children aged 12 and 15 use your workbooks and revision guides with their tutor as there is no english school here. We are currently waiting for syllabus from the international school on Lanzarote and are hoping our son, aged 15 will be able to get through his GCSE exams with the help of your books. We think they are excellent, informative and fun to use. Both of the kids use them all the time and alot of their work in lesson and homework is set from them. As parents we think they are really good value for money, we looked at the Letts series and also Collins prior to leaving the UK in March this year and yours are far superior in every way, and usually over £15 - £20 cheaper. So this is our thankyou!! Both children attend Spanish mainstream school and are settling in well, although its extremely difficult as only the English Language teachers can speak conversational English, however they seem to be learning the language by absortion and are coming along in leaps and bounds. We would be interested to hear from any other parents using your text books, from anywhere, especially any living outside the UK. Once again, our thanks

Hi! I really like your colourful and helpful books, will you be producing any more on other GCSE subjects like Electronics or Statistics as this would further help me!!

James Hugall — , UK — 05 Dec 2000 at 20:11:00

Hi, I'm doing Music GCSE and I would really love it if you did a revision guide on music and it historical background. The SEG Modular Science Book II is really great and I've got a science exam on Thursday-it's helping me soooooo much- THANKS A LOT.

Sarah — , UK — 05 Dec 2000 at 19:41:00

My daughter used your GCSE revision books and she had brilliant results. Is there any chance of other A level books in addition to the maths? She is studying chemistry, biology and geography and has asked me to find out if you cover these subjects -particularly chemistry! Cheers Liz Penney

E. Penney — Mansfield Woodhouse, Notts , UK — 05 Dec 2000 at 15:58:00

A well organised display/web page. I like the use of the booklets as content pages / links. Well done A PLEASING DISPLAY

jeanmarie casey — derry , UK — 05 Dec 2000 at 11:51:00

I have used your books over the years from when i first entered secondry school and find them a great buy. They have really helped me with the revision for my sats and i have now bought some for my gcse. I have shown them to my Mum and she is currently in the process of buying my younger brothers at key stage 2 books for their school.

Kelly Doyle — Liverpool , UK — 05 Dec 2000 at 09:58:00

louise — norfolk , UK — 04 Dec 2000 at 18:52:00

So far from what I have seen it does look like a groovey website.

Chris White — , UK — 04 Dec 2000 at 18:49:00

The website was good, but have you thought about doing mini quizes etc. on the internet? It would make it more fun to us to learn if we had something more fun to escape to, rather than just sticking our heads into books all day!!!! I thought that you would have set up some sort of internet format similar to your books.

Jo Rogers — , UK — 04 Dec 2000 at 11:23:00

Will you be having a GCSE Economics Revision Guide?

Zoe Barnard — Tonbridge, Kent , UK — 03 Dec 2000 at 19:12:00

jude — abergavenny , UK — 03 Dec 2000 at 14:16:00

hi i'm a g.c.se student and i currently have u're books and i'm wondering if u have a page which helps students revise?

Lesley sutton — , UK — 03 Dec 2000 at 12:04:00

The revision books are really helpful, but I think you should put some GCSE workbook answers on the net to download so people dont have to go searching for the right one in the shops or wait for you to post them to us.

Andrew Blake — Carlisle , UK — 02 Dec 2000 at 21:10:00

Your books are very colourful and I got good marks in my G.C.S.Es. I got twelve A*-C grades. They are really superb and brilliant to get excellent results.

Mashood Ahmed — Battersea, London , UK — 02 Dec 2000 at 14:58:00

Really believe your books are great for my son Ben (now aged 12 on KS3) and were a mega help to our daughter Vicci for her GCSEs.

Paul Hands — Cheltenham, Glos , UK — 01 Dec 2000 at 22:59:00

I have the GCSE History book and as of yet I have found it really helpful. Is there a possibility of reductions to purchase the books over the net because that was what I have been told. Thanx

Hayley — Taunton , UK — 01 Dec 2000 at 20:00:00

i am currently in yr 11 and i am revising for my mocks. i was really nervous about me not being able to revise easily as i find it hard to revise all of my previous work from my exercise books. so my mum ordered some of your books over the internet. i have been able to revise for all of my subjects very easily and the books make revising so fun and easy. i never thought i could revise so much with a book but i have achieved alot. all i have to do now is crack simultaneous equations. if you have any advice on how to solve them please e-mail me with your solutions. your help would bo greatly appreciated. Yours Faithfully Hannah Kettlety (aged 15)
