good books! keep up the good work. a must for anyone studying for exams. i'll let you know just how good they are when i get my gcse results.

luap_s — , UK — 30 May 2001 at 18:42:00

HI!! ur site is gr8, jst like ur books. b4 i got the modern world history book 4 GCSE, i woz really struggling 2 get good grades in History. ur book made all the hardest topics so much simpler 2 understand and my average grade has now gone a D/C to a B...THANX!!!

Sara — , UK — 30 May 2001 at 18:34:00

i thought the books were good until i came across 1/2 a page of discriminational propaganda on page 45 of the higher level biology book. if i'd wanted a lesson in ethics i'd have bought the tora or the koran or something. i quote "smoking is no good to anyone" -- a blatant lie, smoking is good for people who like to smoke and the revenue gained from it by so many third world countries would all be even worse off than they are now without the export of tobacco. "It doesn't have any positive social aspects"?? its got a hell of a lot more than you, "pal".

daz dillinger — , UK — 30 May 2001 at 18:28:00

i think ur books r a gr8 help. i am in my final year + ur books never cease 2 take me out of 'revision misery' with the funny cartoons etc. thanx uv definitely helped me a lot!!!! ta very much!!!!!!

sara keating — , UK — 30 May 2001 at 15:23:00

I'm doing my GCSE's at the moment and i find your books great for revising from. thanks!

Sean Kirkbride — Cleveleys, Lancashire , UK — 30 May 2001 at 15:21:00

I have always found these books really helpful and I think they are the best ones around that you can get !!! (THEY ARE NOT BORING)!!!!

Nicola Robinson — , UK — 30 May 2001 at 15:17:00

What was I thinking? Those books are excellent for revision purposes but unfortunately we have had several deaths due to people dying of laughter after reading my jokes. NOT. Maybe I should think about hiring a qualified comedian to write them. And what's with telling you to write it down at the bottom of every single page? Wouldn't it be easier just to say it once at the beginning?

Richard Parsons — , UK — 30 May 2001 at 11:51:00

yo book was boom its good and helps a lot wit revisin making it a lot easier! well done

do — , USA — 30 May 2001 at 00:01:00

These books are a great help and they contain a lot of information that teacher don't explain very well! keep up the good publishing!

Emma Taylor — , UK — 29 May 2001 at 21:54:00

ASH — , UK — 29 May 2001 at 19:46:00

vicky moore — bromham, bedfordshire , uk — 29 May 2001 at 19:21:00

Your comments in the revision guide are really not funny, get a life and start watching Eddie Izzard for a change!

Jeff — , UK — 29 May 2001 at 18:29:00

can i print off practice GCSE exams from this site (or any other) from the internet, rather than buying them in a shop? ps - the book are pretty good, as they make information very clear!

taz — , UK — 29 May 2001 at 16:45:00

A brilliant range of books - all three of my boys have benefited from these excellent revision and practice guides - as have I, since I now know what to ask them! Keep it up!!

Geoff Williamson — Croxley Green, Herts , UK — 29 May 2001 at 13:07:00

I have got loads of your revision books. They are brilliant and really helpful. Could it be possible if on this website the users could print off the information from the books and from the past papers. Thanx

Sam Cavill — , UK — 28 May 2001 at 20:12:00

Bhakti Gajjar — , UK — 28 May 2001 at 16:11:00

We have found your books a godsend - our son has missed about six months of school due to family tragedy and our move to Singapore- do you mail books overseas? Regards jennifer Hardy

Mrs.Jennifer Hardy — Four Seasons Park, Singapore , Singapore — 28 May 2001 at 15:04:00

Are you going to be producing CGP revision books for KS3 History dealing with British History from 1066 to 1900? If you can simplify British History learning in the same way as you have done World History for GCSE it would help a lot of people!

Jay Vara — , UK — 28 May 2001 at 12:17:00

thank you very much for supplying these book i have got my GCSE's in 2 weeks i have used these for two years now and they help a lot what ever your age get some.

Emily — , UK — 27 May 2001 at 19:05:00

Your books are great for revision purposes, but sort those jokes out. Don't try and be 'hip' just say all of the facts, i find it quite off putting

SA — , Wales — 27 May 2001 at 18:59:00

i used the revision books when studying for my sats, they made my revision a lot more understandable

sam book — , UK — 27 May 2001 at 13:25:00

I've been using your books for my GCSEs and they are really good, especially the science books. I learn more off them than I do from my teachers!! I've also been using the maths revision books, there are all these questions but no answers, how are you supposed to know whether you have got the questions right or not?

Laura Smith — , UK — 27 May 2001 at 13:06:00

Hi i found this site excellent it helped me find exactly the book i was looking for but a very bad thing was when i went into my local Whsmiths the book i wanted was all creased and had several marks on i told the shop assistant and she said thats how it came to the store like. So i was stuck but i choose to take the book as my exams were two weeks away but never mind the revision guide did hlp even though it had tears and marks in it. Yours Sincerely Ashley

Ashley — , UK — 27 May 2001 at 10:09:00

lottie — , UK — 25 May 2001 at 18:27:00

the books are really good but get some done for triple award science!!!! it would be so helpful. Get some more done for A level also!!! Keep up the good work!

Felicity Butcher — Camberley, Surrey , UK — 25 May 2001 at 12:01:00

As far as content goes, these books are quite good, except there is nothing for people who take the sciences individually. Also why is there humour in these books. It's not funny, and the books would be better with out them.

Jonathan — , UK — 25 May 2001 at 11:34:00

I am 21 years of age and use your book as a revision guide to help me with further education courses, and i find them very helpful as a basis to the higher level work, as we all forget the basics from time to time. However i am puzzled to find that you do not do any other A Level books other than mathematics. I am studying science courses and would find A level science revision guides from you very helpful. i would like to know if you are going to be doing any other A Level books in the future. thankyou jess.

jessica lamb — manchester , UK — 24 May 2001 at 22:20:00

I think your Books are Brilliant and have found revision alot easier with them!!!!

Beth Hoggard — North Ferriby, East Yorkshire , UK — 24 May 2001 at 18:23:00

I would like it if you did a book on Geology because it would be helpful for G.C.S.E geologists. I am studying geology at the moment and i am annoyed that you don't supply one. Could you please think about supplying one please. Thankyou

Natalie Cinnamond — Sleaford, Lincs , UK — 24 May 2001 at 13:55:00

sarah wright — , USA — 24 May 2001 at 11:09:00

Hi there, Your books are wicked. I'm starting A-Levels this September, so any chance of publishing A-Level guides?

Kizza — Oxford , UK — 24 May 2001 at 11:06:00

Russell Hamm — Chesterfield, Derbyshire , UK — 23 May 2001 at 20:07:00

I think that your Double Award Science revision guides are very, very good, but why don't you cater for people like me who are taking the Seperate Science Award and have to learn some extra content? Are you bringing one out soon?

Jack Whitmore — Bromley, Kent , UK — 23 May 2001 at 19:19:00

Jason Wilkinson — East Ham, London , UK — 23 May 2001 at 11:54:00

I think the books are of a high standard and make revision easy. It is a shame you can't look through the book(s) on line.

Tim Redman — , UK — 23 May 2001 at 09:44:00

The books are great, they give you a lot of useful information and I've found out more. Thankyou

amy — , UK — 23 May 2001 at 09:38:00

In your GCSE Mathematics Intermediate Level (The Workbook) Second Edition, on page 50 question 3 d. It said this "The area of a circle with diameter=4.246cm. Give answer your to 3 dp.

KAREN COX — , UK — 22 May 2001 at 11:50:00

I have found cgp revision books and work books helpful when revising for my GCSE's. I would recommend them in the future for revision purposes, or an additional way of learning.

vicky joyce — , UK — 21 May 2001 at 21:06:00

your web site is FAB I am begging for u 2 bring out more books. My life depends on it. The books are really cheap and they r fun 2 read

liz thomas — , UK — 21 May 2001 at 20:25:00

I have a complaint about the "GCSE Double Science Physics The Revision Guide Higher Level For Grades D-A*" I am currently revising for my GCSEs and I cannot find 'centripetal force' or 'Centrifugal force' in the book. I find this very disappointing as I have never had any other flaws with your revision guides. If you could please reply to me at my e-mail this would be very much appreciated.

Daniel Lee — Ilford , UK — 21 May 2001 at 19:54:00

Lucy — , UK — 21 May 2001 at 15:46:00

Why do you only produce GCSE practise papers in Maths and Science and not English ? (the other core GCSE subject ). I have talked to my English teacher and been told that the best way to revise for the English GCSE is with practise papers but i can not find any available to buy ( being that i have already used the last five years worth that the exam board sent me ) Yours Anna Baggaley

Anna — , UK — 20 May 2001 at 20:54:00

Firstly, let me say that you're books are actually really good - just incase you haven't heard it from every other kid in the UK, but what really concerns me is page 23 of the chemistry GCSE revision guide which, at the bottom of the page, states that its sponsored by the Millom Tourist Board preceding, and I quote: "In your dreams, you have been to Millom" Now, I'm dying to know where it is and why this page is sponsored - please let me know....

Alex Adams — , France — 20 May 2001 at 18:27:00

Excellent books. I use them in school and at KS3 for my daughter, who says "They rock!" Please send a catalogue, especially for KS2 games & activities. Thankyou.

Sue Barker — Whalley, Clitheroe , UK — 20 May 2001 at 18:20:00

At the moment I am studying for my GCSE's and the cgp revision guides for biology, chemistry and physics are really helpful, as they explain everything clearly. Thanks!

Rachel Jenkins — Pontypool, Torfaen , UK — 20 May 2001 at 17:40:00

i sent you an earlier e-mail. please ignore it because it was misleading. what i meant to say was that act1 scene2 wasnt on the key scenes section of the book and why was this? in future could you ask QCA before you write about the key scenes.

Shamsur Rahman  — , UK — 20 May 2001 at 15:43:00

I bought your Henry V Shakespeare book for KS3 and it didn't have Act 1 Scene 2 Lines 96 to the end. May I ask why this was?

hanani banani — , UK — 17 May 2001 at 18:30:00

Hi CGP! Congratulations on your excellent range of revision guides for GCSE, they really do make revising easy and fun (well, at least as fun as revision can be...) How about revision guides for GCSE Music, RS, Statistics, DT..... any plans? I would find them all very useful. Finally how about expanding this site to incorporate a revision section with questions, interactive tests (like bitesize) etc, as well as selling your books. (You could even distribute a special password to access that area with all revision guides sold). Well, keep up the good work... the books are fantastic!

Paul — , UK — 17 May 2001 at 17:44:00

Cgp books are the best. No way would i have done so well in my exams without them. I have such bad notes in my school books that yours are the only books which i could use to revise. Cheers CGP

i love all your books please send me a catalogue they are just so cool!!!!

lloyd calderbank — wrightington , UK — 15 May 2001 at 19:13:00

You are the best at making the most hilarious educational books in the world!

Luke — , UK — 15 May 2001 at 19:01:00

why the hell do you put stupid little pictures and sad little comments all throughout your revision books. the editor (richard parson) obviously had edited the wrong bits! he took the good stuff (if any) out and left us with the sad stuff. i considered it an insult to my bottom that had to sit there for 3 hours reading such trash!!!!

terry procter — , UK — 15 May 2001 at 14:33:00

Your books are really good. The illustrations are funny and everything is very humorous! Your books have helped me alot in studying for my SATs exams. Thank you for that!

Teresa — London , UK — 14 May 2001 at 22:18:00

Every one in my whole school has your books. They are so great and helped me to get a level 5!!!

Melissa xxx — , UK — 14 May 2001 at 21:17:00

This website has already helped me in my S.A.T.s tests and its only day ONE!!!!!

Daniel Nottingham — Chorley, Lancs , UK — 14 May 2001 at 20:28:00

Richard Parsons is definitely not funny, the funny remarks he makes at the bottom of each page are meaningless and just put off the reader. If you want to be taken more seriously and want others to revise more effectively, stop the crappy jokes.

Nikhil Amin — ilford , UK — 14 May 2001 at 20:15:00

They're great for studying in and the picture and cartoons make more fun to read. They're great.

Harri — , UK — 14 May 2001 at 19:58:00

lucy mccunnell — , UK — 14 May 2001 at 19:48:00

I've read a lot of cgp books and they're very inspiring. This is just to show appreciation to those who devoted their time to making this book a success. WELL DONE.

yemisi ajose — , UK — 14 May 2001 at 15:00:00

Having found these books by accident for KS2 for our son who has been using the WHSmith range, along with his little sister. Both children are home educated, and have found your books really helpful. When originally purchasing we could only find KS2 books. We would be grateful is you could send a full listing of your books, and also have been informed by our Local Education Authority, that if we inform you we are Home Educated then the books will be at the reduced rate! Is this so? If so great,

Mrs Beverley King — Stroud , UK — 14 May 2001 at 14:03:00

Your books are Brilliant, and I think everybody likes your books so why not make a better website, ie you should build a website were the viewers can test their knowledge on your books

Steve — , UK — 14 May 2001 at 14:02:00

Could you help me with looking for some great websites that could help me do some revision I've got my exam soon

Leighton — , UK — 14 May 2001 at 12:29:00

Hey, just wanted to say I think your books are pretty cool and they have helped me a lot, but I think that you should add some test papers/questions to it so that poor people like me can do some cramming at school before we go in for the dreaded exams!! These would enable us to get in some much needed practice and also get us "in the mood" for doing a test, as my maths teacher says all the time!! Anyway, thanks again for all the help, I think your books are brill!

Jo — Dartford , UK — 13 May 2001 at 17:21:00

I have been using your books at school, they are brilliant, they have very funny pictures and sayings. I have been trying to persuade my Mum to buy me a set. Why are they only £2 for schools and £3.50 for us? Anyway, it's SATs next week, if I don't do well I'll come back to this website to learn some more from these groovy books. Esther x

Esther Stanger — Doncaster, South Yorkshire , UK — 13 May 2001 at 15:50:00

Maria Piliero — Trowell, Nottingham , UK — 13 May 2001 at 15:13:00

Samantha Frost — , Bahrain — 13 May 2001 at 14:44:00

Jon — , UK — 13 May 2001 at 13:55:00

sarah brand — , UK — 12 May 2001 at 10:13:00

This book review web site is good but it can't help my class this monday with our sats tests. On the practise papers we should be able to try out them just to pratise and see whether we are going to be right or not and if we are wrong then at least we will know what to put . I hope i am going to be listened to

rachel spy — melksham , UK — 12 May 2001 at 10:08:00

The revision guides are great. Please could you send me your catalogue.

Zaynib Khan — Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshir, UK — 12 May 2001 at 09:09:00

Leila Manouchehri — Ravenstonedale, Nr.Kirkby Step, UK — 11 May 2001 at 21:45:00

I think your books are great but I think it is a bit disappointing that you do not have a least some revision tips or something like that. or even revision notes that you can help you. people do not know what you books are like and trust me they might not buy it unless they are absolutely positive that it is a good source of information. I have the new key stage 3 revision guide for science and it says that you can gets some worksheets to help with revising but so far I have not been able to connect to it. please can you help me with my revision for my gcse's thankyou! I look forward to using your books in the future.

What I would like to know is have you or are you thinking of doing any else apart from books? eg. cassette tapes. And also do you have anything like a catalogue of all the books and anything else that you do? And just one more question do you do GCSE books on Religious Education and Resistant Materials. Thank you very much.

I have found ur books to be well helpful, but it's a shame you don't do the three seperate sciences (the course I do) but I find the dual science books help me with the easier bits

Dan — , UK — 10 May 2001 at 20:27:00

thankyou soooooo much, these books are just what our teachers don't teach us.. the maths book is great and has cleared up every problem i have had, and the science book makes everything soo simple and easy to understand. Well done and keep up the good work, these are the best revision guides ever!!! Also, are you planning to release a "twelfth night " shakespeare revision guide as that was the play we had to study and i could not find one

Chloe Bailey — , UK — 10 May 2001 at 20:25:00

Dear CGP, You may remember me from when I wrote to you, informing you of a 'mistake' in your KS2 English Revision Book involving commas in addresses. (Yes, I'm the stuck-up little so-and-so whose always looking for mistakes!) I'm writing this four days before I take my KS2 SATs exams. From Soren Coe.

Soren Patrick Coe — Stapleton, Leicestershire. , UK — 10 May 2001 at 20:21:00

Lizzy Cowley — Tydlesley, Manchester , UK — 10 May 2001 at 19:42:00

Are modualar science books really separate revision guides? Please say they Are!!!

Joe — newark, notts , UK — 10 May 2001 at 19:41:00

Despite finding the revision guides very helpful, i feel that the practice papers could be better eg putting the correct answers in the maths paper answer book. I have shown them to a maths teacher who agrees with me in saying that there are numerous inaccuracies in the answer book. i await your response.

D.Ranns — , UK — 10 May 2001 at 19:40:00

Thank you CGP!!! Your books are fantastic and your Maths practice papers have helped me so much! I'm just coming to the end of my GCSE courses and I've found your books really useful and next year when I move onto A-Levels yours will be the first guides I look for. Keep up the good work!

Gemma Bridges — Southampton , UK — 10 May 2001 at 19:15:00

Anyone considering buying the AS-Level Maths books definitely should. This is the first revision book ive seen which is actually fun to read and u WILL pass if u use it. If u fail, ur a retard and probably shouldn't be doing A-Levels in the first place.

Nate — , UK — 10 May 2001 at 19:07:00

Hello! I adore the pictures in your books. I laugh out loud at some of them. Ha ha ha. Sadly, I have yet to find out if your books have helped me through my SATs (They would have helped even more if my Twelfth Night one hadn't been taken - seriously, I didn't lose it, it went!). Is there any free funny book thingies you could send me? My mum gets the secretary's one through her work... not surprisingly, she is a secretary. :-)

Rachel Fisher — Dover, Kent , UK — 09 May 2001 at 21:06:00

SHELLY EVANS — , UK — 09 May 2001 at 19:31:00

In your maths revision guide GCSE. You say that we are all stupid if we just read through and think that's all we need to do. You are wrong. If you new anything about revision then you would know that 1/3 of people find that this is very effective revision for them. Please don't call us stupid again. I suggest that you take this off your next set of revision guides because you wouldn't like it if I said that I thought what you get paid for doing is rubbish. Although it is.

sad — , USA — 09 May 2001 at 19:30:00

Whats wrong with you people. These guides are rubbish. The graphics and cartoons are patronizing and the jokes are NOT funny. Get a grip.

e — , UK — 09 May 2001 at 19:23:00

My friend and I have been looking through your revision guides and frankly we think they are a load of poo. Here are a list of improvements we think you could make. -Stop saying 'real good'.( Are we all American in you group publication world because I know that I'm certainly not). -Stop saying 'GEE'. Why don't you all become cheer leaders! -Your jokes are not funny. Cut them out. -Your layout makes it hard to concentrate and so is not effective revision - especially the french. -The colours are some what dillute and boring. We find you revision guides tedious and if you think this is the only way to humour us then we are offended. We can easily buy a different set of revision guides. We dread to think what your English books are like, you cannot even speak it properly. Do something or get a new job. 'Gee' thanks, you're 'gonna' do a 'real good' job to fail us. Esther and Kate

Esther and Kate — , UK — 09 May 2001 at 19:19:00

jay — liverpool , UK — 09 May 2001 at 17:02:00

I think the website is really colorful for students and has cartoon images which appeal to younger people, instead of having this really dull website which makes people log off straight away!! It's fab!

Holly Adderley — , UK — 09 May 2001 at 16:33:00

I think that releasing a GCSE I.T book would be beneficial, as the current range is weak and limited. Please reply to this statement, as i would be extremely grateful.

i have my SATS coming up this week and i would like to know a really good source of revision information can anybody help me???

siobhan morris — , UK — 07 May 2001 at 13:40:00

I think you should be able to do the exam practice papers online, because you may not have time to get them and also its much easier to do them there and then. Other than that its quite good though, but definitely have the trial papers online.

Kadsji — , UK — 07 May 2001 at 12:36:00

cpg books rule!

Andrew flecther — , UK — 07 May 2001 at 12:05:00

Thank you for bringing out the Science KS3 revision guide. I have found it a real help. My English and my Maths are ok but I have found that your books are really easy to use and revise from. Thank you.

J. Perkins — , UK — 07 May 2001 at 11:09:00

I think that your book's are really helpful so thank you very much they are a lot easier to learn out of than the schools books!

Hi, i'm just like to say Good Luck to everyone taking their GCSE's and there Keystage 3 tests this year. So good luck!!!!

jamie sarah blakemore — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 18:01:00

I think you need to make a revision guide for Spanish as well, because you have French and German, but not Spanish!

bob — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 17:50:00

Hi CGP! I am studying for my GCSEs and although your books are really good for most people i have a slight problem. I am registered blind and some of the writing in your books is just too small. You seem to cram it all into a small space. The jokes aren't funny but they do take the edge of off revision. Would you be able to produce a revision guide for the other Schools History project topics like Elizabeth II and Nazi Germany etc. Otherwise Great job guys and gals.

Danielle Dixon — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 17:23:00

i think cgp books are brill! I've got my ks3 SATs this week and your revision guides have really helped me to revise. They are clear, colourful and make it alot easier to understand, compared to other revision guides. I'd certainly recommend you to a friend.

Rachael — new whittington, chesterfield , UK — 06 May 2001 at 17:04:00

I think your practice books are really good, and are helping me loads. I only have a few of them, and i was wondering if you could tell me which shops sell them

J.A — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 16:59:00

i just wanna say ur book has helped me so much 2 revise 4 my english sats paper on macbeth. i never use 2 pay attention 2 my english teacher so i didnt know n e thing bout macbeth until the last moment wen i read ur book.... thx alot u saved my life!!!!!! safe!!!!

sabia bhayat — beckton, london , UK — 06 May 2001 at 16:28:00

I think the books are full of too much stuff, and they distract you from what you're meant to be revising, also you should make them easier to find the answers in the answer books.

Matthew Edmondson — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 16:10:00

We use your Science books at school but have found a few of the answers are wrong and also, a couple of the questions are written in bad English so we don't understand. Even our teacher has said so!

Emilie — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 16:02:00

I was just wondering if you could send me some tips or leaflets on revising for my key stage 3 exams with out my mind going blank when it comes down to doing the actual exam. My exams start on Tuesday 8th may, if possible could you send them before then, it would be a great help and I might even get a better mark! Bye Bye!

Georgina Smith — Downend, Bristol , UK — 06 May 2001 at 15:33:00

R u gonna do a Spainish revision guide??? Please dooooo coz we've gotta do Spainish GCSE in two years and it would be very useful.

Bob — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 15:31:00

Hi! I have recently been studying for my ks3 SATS and the maths and science books have definitely helped me a lot. Thanx!

FIONA — FROME, SOMERSET , UK — 06 May 2001 at 14:30:00

Your books are great but your website is not that good. There are few things that we can look at and it gets boring. It will be ACE if we can print out practice papers, read revision guides online and do tests online.

Jameel Zamir — Perry Barr, Birmingham , UK — 06 May 2001 at 13:29:00

I think your books are great although I think some of the diagrams in your Key Stage 3 books are quite inaccurate with colour and use of computer imaging!

Thomas Milner — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 13:03:00

I think the CGP English,Science & Maths books r superb & are really helping me revise for my KS2 'SATs'. Thanks a LOT!

Shanti — Jericho, Oxford. , UK — 06 May 2001 at 12:46:00

hey all cgp books website visiters. These books are really helpful but i find that coz they aren't like boring i can't concentrate on them! but neway love the books nearly ready for my sats still wetting my self bout them but i will just have 2 rvise more! neway hope every1 else does well. love becky x

becky — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 12:40:00

your books are pretty good but in english macbeth we are only doing 2 key scenes and you are'nt helping with all that but the rest of your books ie) maths science are great! thanks! if i get a good grad on my sats i will buy your books again!

sabrina — , UK — 06 May 2001 at 12:28:00

these r v good books

becca — , UK — 05 May 2001 at 20:49:00

Just wanna say that the KS3 guides are really clear and easy to use. I have found them to be of actual use, since I don't really revise that well for any tests normally, but your books are much better for revising than using junk-quality (i think) school textbooks because they really do highlight all the important points mentioned.

Robert Watts — , UK — 05 May 2001 at 19:49:00

I find your books really helpful and the great fun to read i could read them all the time not just for exams

Vicky Willaims — , UK — 05 May 2001 at 19:11:00

Chris Doyle — Whitley, Wigan , UK — 05 May 2001 at 16:46:00

I think the books are sort of good, but can be better

Inkly Bok — , UK — 05 May 2001 at 16:06:00

i think you should be able to look at the books on the internet

joanna norman — orton, birmingham , UK — 05 May 2001 at 15:41:00

Gemma Lyons — Shrewsbury, Shropshire , UK — 05 May 2001 at 12:57:00

i think that your books are great i hope i will pass my exams with confidence!!! i was wandering if you have a membership seeing as i want to join? thanks

tania caldeira — wembley, middlesex , UK — 05 May 2001 at 12:48:00

I think that there should be some practise papers on the actual website for you to take part in, because then they are easily accessible - after all, you only want to help us pass the exams, don't you. By just giving us prices over the net it isn't helping very much because there are some children who can't get to buy the practise papers before the exams. It is too late for me to use them now anyway, because my exams start in 2 days time, but I thought by making my views heard it would help people in the future.

Joe Bloggs — , UK — 05 May 2001 at 11:35:00

Samantha Bowen — , UK — 04 May 2001 at 11:43:00

Hi CGP. Ure books r great, but u really need to publish guides for I.T. and R.E. for G.C.S.E.! I bought ure maths book at the beginning of year 11 and its really helped me loads. I like ure science ones as well, but I think sometimes u should go into more detail. GOOD LUCK to everyone doing G.C.S.E.s this year!! V

V — Blackwood, Gwent , Wales — 04 May 2001 at 09:34:00

A lot of kids in my year think they are too grown-up to find the cheesy jokes in CGP books amusing/helpful. I disagree. Although I hate revising with the deepest, burning passion I have to say CGP books ease the cackness slightly. Thankyou!

katie — barnstaple, devon , UK — 03 May 2001 at 21:32:00

I think your books are really good because they make you learn but in a fun way. They're great. I really like the cartoons you use. We use the books in our school.

I Love the CGP revision books but the home page is stupid you don`t know which option to go in 2 revise. From James Craig Blakehill Primary School Bradford

James Craig — , UK — 03 May 2001 at 18:12:00

My mates at the local Grammar School think your books have just what it takes to help us pass our GCSE,s. Because you Jumble the syllabus in a neat book full of easy to remember facts, it seems that it could help the people who have problems revising, and increase their understanding of that particular subject. Your books are..... well ACE!

John samuel — Clitheroe, Lancs , UK — 03 May 2001 at 13:46:00

I Really think your Books are Interesting, but you don't add the proper phrases that are essential for a particular subject. For example in the Higher Tier GCSE Biology book, under Nutrients you had put in as an essential mineral, "roughage", which is suppose to mean FIBRE.

James Threlfall — , UK — 03 May 2001 at 13:31:00

Ive got all of your revision books for my gcses in May and wouldn't want no other. Please can you do some more for more subjects like design and technology etc. Thanx

i would have liked it if there had been a page with questions on it so you could answer them and see how many you got correct then the ones you struggled on you could repeat them and others around that level.

I am currently studying you're books and they are helping me a lot for the coming SATs exams. I was scared at first but when I saw that the books you have are especially for SATs I asked my father to buy them.

Jvaneel Parekh — Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Da, Brunei — 02 May 2001 at 11:11:00

I received my first order from you this morning, and my youngest daughter Deavan immediately started to do the questions. I was so pleased to see the eagerness in her. I hope others have the same kind of result from their children. Your books look fun and the groovy drawings will be a winner with most children.

Judi Hammond — Felixstowe, SUFFOLK , UK — 02 May 2001 at 09:58:00

Hi to all at CGP! Thank you for your wonderful KS3 Macbeth revision guide. We started studying Macbeth at school a few months ago but when we had finished our course, I found that I was still very confused at even the simplest things. Your revision guide has helped me to realise who everybody is and just what the hell they are talking about. P.S Your maths workbook is good too.

Kirsty Offer — Chilwell, Nottingham , UK — 01 May 2001 at 22:26:00

I find your books useful in revising for my ks3 at the minute. I did my 2 english papers today and i was aiming for a level 7 in this subject, but I didn't get finished paper 1 so i hope that doesn't put my marks down 2 much! I'm doing maths tomorrow and i really hope i do well because maths is a weaker subjects and science will be difficult. Wish me luck then!

Britney S. — London Baby!!!! , UK — 01 May 2001 at 20:01:00

With the SATS in less than a weeks time, I need some help with revision! I used your KS2 CGP books (now property of my brother!) and in December made a point of getting some money out and buying your KS3 books! The science workbooks have helped me greatly -- do you do any workbooks for other subjects? Your Macbeth book was also brilliant at explaining the plot, and very helpful when it came to the detailed bits -- the 'Shakespeare' english was explained in a way so that I could totally understand it! Well, keep it up, CGP!!

Sarah — , UK — 01 May 2001 at 19:52:00

Great revision guides CGP! but why have recently edited GCSE revision guides such as Physical Education, not got "The acid Test" at the bottom of each page? this used to really help, you should bring them back! Ed .

Edward Barber — , UK — 01 May 2001 at 19:27:00

Ta to the people at 'CGP' I've got your KS3 'Science, English and Macbeth' books to help me in my 'SATS' and there really good. Lucy

Lucy — Accrington , UK — 01 May 2001 at 19:15:00

hey I'm coming up to my ks3 SAT's and I bought a couple of your books and I thought they were brill. They have helped me loads so thanks! hopefully I should do ok on my exams thanx to you! they really made them less stressful and a lot more fun, well as fun as revising gets!

ellie — , UK — 01 May 2001 at 19:03:00

I think that the cpg books are good but all the answers to the questions should be in the book. I also think that there should be revision questions on the internet and not just how to buy the books this would make our revision much better. Anyway thanks for helping me to revise.

Samantha.B — Walthamstow/Hackney, London , UK — 01 May 2001 at 18:14:00

I think the revision books provide the information, but i find personally i haven't got the motivation to sit and read all the time. Maybe there could be an accompanying tape to go with the books? i also find that your books are extremely complicated (especially the maths)!! MOE

moe fidner — , UK — 01 May 2001 at 17:20:00

Although your key stage 3 books have been helpful ,I am distressed to discover (a week before the sats!!!!!!!) that most of the work you said would not be in the sats science paper this year will, ndeed be on the paper. I feel I must inform you of these misprints so that you may correct any errors in your level 5-7 science revision books.

Sarah — , UK — 01 May 2001 at 15:51:00

I feel your science revision book key stage 3 level 5-7 is very misleading. From pages 58-62 certain parts have not been taken out. After months of revising, i was horrified to find out that large parts of the information i had been revising were taken out of the curriculum. My science teachers and friends all agree that the things you said were not in the curriculum could not be right. We don't feel that chemical reactions can not have been taken out. Half of the books say this but the other half say it is in the curriculum. yours sincerly zara thorpe
