Firstly, I would like to say that your revision guides are FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I've just found the Spanish revision guide on this website and hope to purchase it soon!!!!!! WHSmith's said they didn't sell it, but hopefully if I give them the ISBN they might be able to supply it?? I don't know?! Otherwise I'll order it of the Web if one can do that?????? If i do well in my exams ( which I will!!!! ha,ha,ha!!!!) it'll be because of MY knowledge and YOUR books. Thank-you very much!!!! Lots of love Sarah!

John Smith — , UK — 28 Nov 2001 at 19:27:00

I think the CGP books are EXCELLENT. They are extremely good for revision. They make revision fun by those funny jokes and pictures. I have them for every subject I take!

Halime Derya Arican — London, UK — 28 Nov 2001 at 19:09:00

You're better than sliced bread and a boon to poor, harassed teachers! What would we do without the humour in your books? And now practise papers as well . . . Keep it coming CGP.

Hilary Minor — Guildford, Surrey , UK — 28 Nov 2001 at 18:52:00

I'm ten years old and I find the CGP books really helpful. My best friend Abigail also has the books and we both find them really helpful during our Math, English and Science period. I read a book every week for school and I have read the Math, English and Science books at least three times. Thank you for your time whilst reading my letter Yours Sincerely Natalie Bourne (age 10)

Natalie Bourne — Welling, Kent , UK — 28 Nov 2001 at 18:21:00

I love learning from your books and they're not boring.

Polly Sands — Ripon , UK — 28 Nov 2001 at 13:05:00

Had difficulty in knowing which were the latest books available in the shops.e.g. bought the GCSE PE book which says 1st edition for 2001 and 2002 exams, but I want the one for the 2003 exams. I believe the syllabus has changed a bit this year. Is there a more recent book or is one due? Couldn't find an answer on your site. Other wise have bought the SATS books previously and thought they were brilliant and excellent value. Have recommended them to all.

judith wilson — Cyncoed, Cardiff , UK — 27 Nov 2001 at 22:09:00

I love you! I think the man on the books in the sunglasses is very sexy. The books I got 4 KS3 revision helped me get high7's for maths and science, but a 6 for english cos i didnt have a revision guide 4 that!! doh! every1 buy the books they're really really good. Please could u tell me the name of the sexy man?? I now have a french, 3 science, and a maths GCSE guide but my evil teachers only sold me Letts for english and Geog but 2 be honest, they r a waste of time. CGP are soooo good lets all make a fan club. I especially like the physics book cos our teacher is rubbish, so it actually teaches me stuff. which is harder than revisin but hey, that's life. Learn and scribble.... Lots of love from me - sexy man's no. 1 fan!!!! :)

Dear cgp books, For the last 4 to 5 years since I was in primary, your books have been incredibly useful. Please could you send me a list of GCSE books at my home address since I have not a email address. thanks!!!!!!!

Miss S Dada — Mill Hill, London , UK — 25 Nov 2001 at 12:06:00

I am currently 1 year away from sitting for my GCSE and i have found your books fantastic!!!. However i was slightly disappointed how the KS3 Macbeth book does not go into great depth (Macbeth's emotions and how they change drastically throughout the play) also a suggestion for a new book is GCSE accounting. That, i would find extremely useful. Thank you very much Christian Vincenti

Christian Vincenti — London , UK — 25 Nov 2001 at 09:08:00

Ur books are TOP! Im in my GCSE yr and have been predicted a B in my Business Studies this yr. Last yr B4 i read your book last year i was getting grades D/C! Keep em' comin'!!!

Rebecca Morley — , UK — 23 Nov 2001 at 17:41:00

Hiya! I'd just like to say that I've been thinking for a while now, why don't class teachers use cgp books instead of the boring ones that are the norm in schools! I really like cgp books, and the warnings on the back are funny!

Lbelle — , UK — 23 Nov 2001 at 17:18:00

Well done for producing such a marvelous (and huge) selection of books that cover every aspect of any subject you desire and you sell them so cheaply! I own every KS3 book and always enjoy reading them. Keep up the good work and by the way, your website is excellent and very easy to navigate. All of it was operational all the time.

Anthony Scott — , UK — 23 Nov 2001 at 16:42:00

CGP Books help me get outstanding grades in all my exams through senior school KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!

Hollie Stephens — Rainham, Essex , UK — 22 Nov 2001 at 10:08:00

OMG!! I love your revision books. with phrases like this:- the biggest trouble with relative atomic mass and relative formula mass is that they sound so bloodcurdling. "with big scary names like that they must be really, really complicated" i hear you cry. Nope, wrong. they're dead easy. Take a few deep breaths, and just enjoy, as the mists slowly clear... It makes you chuckle whilst revising. Revising has never been so much fun! and you can quote me on that. With CGP books i hope to get great grades due to the way they make revising nice and simple with a GREAT comedian writing the stuff. WOW!

Oofums — , UK — 21 Nov 2001 at 23:49:00

HAY — BLACKBURN , UK — 21 Nov 2001 at 20:50:00

I've got most of the GCSE revision guides and I think they're excellent books - makes life much easier! My ICT teacher says they're too cramped and messy but that's teachers for you! I've found they also come in handy for those infuriating homeworks that you just can't do as well as revision for exams. I think they're the best revision books around! PS good price as well - make sure it stays that way!

Laura Goodwin — Wilmslow, Cheshire , UK — 21 Nov 2001 at 20:47:00

I Think the books are the best books I've studied from I'm just wandering if there are any for gcse students if so please reply and tell me. Teresa Wright — Devizes, Wiltshire , UK — 19 Nov 2001 at 13:04:00

Most impressed! Any chance of samples of each of the science books to show my colleagues in the other science departments? I think I could convince them that these would be a very useful investment for our science courses at standard grade level. Jennifer Kettle Earlston High School (Chemistry/Physics Department)

jennifer kettle — Galashiels , UK — 19 Nov 2001 at 10:30:00

Dear Mrs/Sir, Don't you have practise papers online, so we can practise or see how it's like so we can be prepared to by them. I would be happy if you can do that, but if not i would understand.

Christiana Omirin — London , UK — 18 Nov 2001 at 21:07:00

I'm finding your books easy to read and very fun! They are jam packed full of useful advice and will fly me through S.A.Ts (only if I don't have a blank out Ha Ha Ha.) I practice and test my self every night on the page or two I've read! Thank you so very much for everyone who helped make them. I was so scared out about the dreaded Sats and I had my brother results to live up too 555 amazing for his brain. I will pass hopefully 555 as well! Thank you so very much!!!!!!

Jodie Catherine Jade Warburton — Newport, Gwent , UK — 18 Nov 2001 at 20:46:00

Amy — , UK — 17 Nov 2001 at 21:00:00

I'd just like to say that your CGP books have really helped with the horrific perfect and imperfect tense in French. Thank you!

Hannah — , UK — 17 Nov 2001 at 20:39:00

I think this site is very easy to use and I would use it a great deal more if there were things like the answers to the work books and practice GCSE papers online. I think that if you did this for GCSE and A - level Maths, especially, then there would be many more people visiting your site. This would also make my life a lot easier as I could practice questions and get answers by just going online. Other than that I love the site and have all the revision books for the subjects I am doing for GCSE. What would I do with out you. Thank You.

Kate Hewett — Great Gransden, Sandy Beds , UK — 17 Nov 2001 at 16:33:00

chris kent — chichester , UK — 16 Nov 2001 at 12:01:00

Please make some more AS LEVEL revision books? You must have covered nearly every possible GCSE subject possible now, which is very impressive. However think of all the money you could make if you made some more AS level books-there's very few around at the moment. Think of all people like me who bought your books when doing their GCSE's only to find that you go and desert us when we really need you!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! French, Geography, Music and Cymraeg (ail iath)!!!

Gareth — , Cymru — 15 Nov 2001 at 21:06:00

Diolch yn fawr am dy llyfr yn Cymraeg! Syniad da! Neis i gweld bod ti gwerthfawrogi y iath Cymraeg! Da iawn ond llyfr newydd os gwelch yn dda.

a very good site, however it would be best if you could actually do some revision tests on the website as you can on the bbc bitsize site. Perhaps if this was to be done then the website would be excellent and worth visiting for helpful hints. Also a tips section could help the website. good luck!

Lina maria — Hackney wick, London , UK — 08 Nov 2001 at 21:09:00

I am a student from Hong Kong. As I was put into the top group of science, I know I need to work harder. When I was doing revision, I found that I can understand most of the thing. But when I look at revision guide published by CGP, it really helped me so much!! Thank you so much!!

Rebecca — , UK — 07 Nov 2001 at 20:57:00

Found your books in WH Smith...they seem to be a comprehensive guide to both parent and students as to what is required and expected at the end of KS1...they are clear, fun and not to forget inexpensive. Quite a find !!!!

zoe evans — , UK — 07 Nov 2001 at 16:26:00

A British teacher colleague showed me the Science books for Key Stages 2 & 3 plus some more advanced Chemistry & Physics books...impressive! They would be extremely useful in our (Queensland) junior Science curriculum. Well laid out, easy to follow, & don't make the kids feel stupid. When i am able, I will be ordering these books.

Terry Hart — Townsville, QLD , Australia — 07 Nov 2001 at 10:15:00

Anne Seldon — Llangynwyd, South Wales , UK — 06 Nov 2001 at 15:48:00

Your books are the best thing since sliced bread. I have a younger sister of 10 yrs old, and. to be honest, they are a Godsend. They are also useful for me as I won't look like an idiot when I'm helping my sister with her h/w. P.s Do u do guides specifically for grammatical terms? Eg reflexive, adverbs, etc. P.P.S: Cgp makes letts revision look cheap!!

Nelson — Islington, London , UK — 06 Nov 2001 at 13:55:00

I use your books and find them very useful.

I am in my final year at secondary school and am on target for all higher grades in my subjects, this is partly due to the outstanding revision guides of cgp. They make everything very clear and simple to understand.

Jack Tunnecliff — Ilkeston, Derbyshire , UK — 04 Nov 2001 at 20:45:00

These books are great, I can't believe how simple they make things seem and not boring! I am so glad there is a book that I can use with confidence to revise from for all of my exams. Thanks CGP!!!!!!

Sara Pieters — Runcorn, Cheshire , UK — 04 Nov 2001 at 09:38:00

I have your science, english and maths books and they helped me a lot. I was predicted to get the lowest level in maths and I got the highest. out of my class i was the 3rd highest person. Thank-you for all your help

Louise — , UK — 03 Nov 2001 at 21:00:00

This comment is meant as a piece of constructive criticism. Your guides have a lot of valuable information in them, but they are torture to read. In you English and Science ks5 and GCSE it seems as though every third word is underlined in italics and in some bright colour. I can understand that the guide is trying to help to make points but eventually you become oblivious to them which dulls reading of other texts when reading italics in them - so in fact it reduces your reading skills. My other complaint is with your maths book - anyone can see that the writers are plain trying too hard, not only that it is - in some ways - condescending and an insult of the readers intellect. I'm sure it's fine for the guides aimed at younger readers, but please change the writing methods for your guides for older leaders. This is not an individual opinion expressed by myself only, I have heard opinions to the same effect off many other people. Thanks, D. Clements

David Clements — , UK — 03 Nov 2001 at 20:58:00

Jess — Coventry , UK — 03 Nov 2001 at 13:03:00

Hey CGP i think your books are wicked and they have loads of information in them so far i have 3 GCSE guides, the only thing i'm too unclear on is the fact that the 2002 and beyond guides for English, French and geography can be used for the 2003 exams because my impression is that the syllabus changes each year which makes me wonder if ur going to produce these guides for 2003 and beyond are u going to do so or are u just going to keep these guides out until 2004 then produce new ones for that

Robert — , UK — 03 Nov 2001 at 11:55:00

CGP books are wicked — they helped me millions!

Sophie Jelison — London, UK — 03 Nov 2001 at 11:34:00
