I like this book very much and this book is so cool.

Elena — Estonia, Tallinn , Estonia — 30 May 2002 at 18:59:00

Needs more science revision on your online revision pages, but otherwise it's ok

Tom Adamson — Hull , UK — 30 May 2002 at 17:10:00

How often do you change your curriculum? Do you change your books and practice exams every year?

Betty Taylor — Nassau, New Providence , Bahamas — 30 May 2002 at 01:50:00

I have found your revision guides to be useful but I have two reservations: a. I, and many people I know, are doing triple science GCSE. Therefore I think there is a demand for revision guides for this, especially as there are virtually no others on the market. It would be much easier and more convenient. b. Some of the revision guides, e.g. History, only seem to cover very basic facts and are therefore not particularly useful. I appreciate that you are catering for a wide ability range - but please bear these comments in mind!

Katie — , UK — 29 May 2002 at 20:33:00

HI YA, I THINK THE THAT ITS A GOOD REVISION SITE BUT YOU SEEM TO HAVE MADE IT QUITE CONFUSING TO GET TO A SPECIFIC AREA IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO FIND REVISION ON THE gcse revision guide for Geography, but once you find what your looking for i think it is very helpful. Cheers i have my exam tomorrow. love addy x xx

addy millard — Salisbury, Wiltshire , UK — 29 May 2002 at 20:14:00

Your Maths and Geography books are okay- the English ones obviously aren't too useful since most guestbook entries are full of speliing and grammatical errors... Please consider publishing a science book according to the OCR syllabus, which I am doing this year- it's quite confusing when you have a different syllabus. Otherwise your books are great- but maybe use less bold colours- they are quite a strain on the eye when revising at 3am. And less of that awful clipart, especially Churchill in the history book.

Michelle — London , UK — 29 May 2002 at 18:49:00

i think that ur site is getting better and better but i do think that the revision page is a bit sparse. it would be nice to see other subjets other than mainly maths.

hayley — haverhill , UK — 29 May 2002 at 18:37:00

This website is gr8. I've got loads of books from here & they r all really useful and are gr8 wen it comes 2 exams.

Rachel — , UK — 29 May 2002 at 18:33:00

I think this website is exceptional, however I could value from a GSCE Russian language book. You will find an increasing number of students do Russian as a language. Our grammar school also teaches Mandarin + Latin.

Chris Robinson — , UK — 29 May 2002 at 17:50:00

i found the revsion very helpful. I also buy one of your books of my school which also help me my G.C.S.E. I am doing them at the moment.

michael doran — , UK — 29 May 2002 at 08:56:00

on the gcse biology revision guide one of the questions at the bottom is "what is the name of the process where big molecules are broken down ino small molecules?". but it doesnt say in the book. so what is it? i think its digestion.

Katie — Kirkby-In-Ashfield , UK — 28 May 2002 at 12:23:00

I'm sorry to inform you that I will not be purchasing any of your books after the disgust i have earned by reading your GCSE Biology revison guide. There is no concentration on the actual Biology in any detail, but chooses to "amuse" the unfortunate reader by adding the inane "one-liners" and blatantly poor clipart. Natural selection is one of the most difficult topics to answer correctly. The CGP book did not have anything on variation or mutation within the species, there was also very little detail on the benefits created. I would like to end this by simply saying: "I would probably learn more biology from the order form, stupidly printed on the back cover, WHY THERE?? By filling it out the book's lifespan is more than halved. (What little lifespan MY book will have...)"

Benjo "Meecrob" Kazooie — Croyde , UK — 28 May 2002 at 10:55:00

I think your books are really great. Out of interest do you happen to have anything on Geography for year six pupils

Mrs Linda Bird — , UK — 27 May 2002 at 21:50:00

i like the fun and games on here but you should have all the key stages open. because keystage 3 wasn't and i'd been trying to get into it for a week now. i think that it is still the best website but you should send me some keystage 3 books especcialy science free for me in the post thanx for understanding.

Cassie Endruweit — Lincoln , UK — 27 May 2002 at 15:34:00

I've got some questions you could put on you website for science: Forces: Fill in the gaps Forces are measured in ... ... is the name given to the force of gravity acting on you. The force between two magnets is a ... force and can make them ... or ... give me an email and i can give you some more questions

Sean Gould — Dubai , UAE — 27 May 2002 at 15:07:00

Good site

Matt Duckett — , UK — 27 May 2002 at 13:12:00

I was really disappointed in this site! It is rubbish and I didnt gain a single thing from it and just wasted my time. I dont know why you waste yours. thank you for your taking the time to read this, but I would hope you get better stuff on this site so that others dont have the pessimistic feelings as i have. oh and why do you only show the nice comments and note the constructive ones eh!

Billy Bob Bob — , UK — 26 May 2002 at 21:35:00

why are your maths algebra questions so hard? i have been going through past papers and they aren't as impossible as the ones you have given,

amelia — , UK — 26 May 2002 at 20:55:00

veryone I know who uses your books skips the questions for being useless. While this is't appropriate for every subject, I know, the little questions at the bottom of each page of the Maths GCSE revision guide to check how you are doing are really good. Something similar would be much better in other books. I also say more A-level books please! Thanks, and please reply, Rosie

Rosie — , UK — 26 May 2002 at 13:04:00

hello, what we really need now is some questions

ashi — , UK — 26 May 2002 at 11:14:00

samantha — , UK — 25 May 2002 at 17:20:00

I think your books are absolutly fantastic, i've got nearly all of all! they've really helped me with my revision for my GCSE's. Keep up the good work, i'll be looking out for A-level next year. Can you tell will you be doing an A-level science revision guide?

Sian — Nottingham , UK — 25 May 2002 at 17:20:00

hi, i got my little sis one of these books for science to help her out 4 her year 6 SATS, and its great to know that someone out there actually cares if she does ok on her SATS other than me, her and the downtrodden government. To show my thanks, here's an idea for a new book;- one on manners! Who knows, it could be a big suscess 'cos i'll buy it for my sister too! Luv Charlie ;-)

charlie — Erith , UK — 25 May 2002 at 16:49:00

LUKE — , UK — 24 May 2002 at 21:07:00

Can I purchase your books from my local bookshop?

Tracy Thomas — , UK — 24 May 2002 at 21:06:00

I think the CGP books are great although I think you should do french books for KS2 and KS3.

Rich — , UK — 24 May 2002 at 15:56:00

your books are easy to learn from and interesting. just Keep selling them at a good price!!!!

charlie coupland — whitchurch hill, reading , UK — 24 May 2002 at 14:56:00

I have used your books with mainstream pupils for a few years now, and my own children and really like them. I am now Science Coordinator in a special school where i have a few pupils taking OCR single award science, we would find a revision guide tailored to single science helpful as they are not good at selecting sections from the double award book, it is a bit daunting! Please help!

Tonia Johansen — Little Heath School, Hainault , UK — 24 May 2002 at 14:00:00

i think this site needs online revision, i know you have told us that teachers are the best source but they aren't always the best support i have come online for some extra support because my teacher is not helping us in further revision just before our exams.

lauren rachel hepworth — Barnsley , UK — 24 May 2002 at 11:43:00

I really like ur books but could it b possible if u could put some past exam papers on ur web site. i find them easier to learn as u can find ur weakness in parts of the subject. Thanks anyway. Every1 at Top Valley School Nottingham Luv ya

emu — , UK — 24 May 2002 at 11:08:00

Thank you so much... I have all your GCSE books and recently finished my collection with your GCSE double Higher tier physics, thank you 2 putting in the physics alphabet... I now know it all. barbara illingworth — , UK — 23 May 2002 at 20:52:00

Martin Burrows — Gillingham, Kent , UK — 23 May 2002 at 20:20:00

KIRSTY ROBERTS — HOLYHEAD, WALES , UK — 23 May 2002 at 15:21:00

just like to say these books are really gr8 4 gcse revison, no others do it quite like cgp, simple and straightforward, u should do re and sociology books though, not many other companies do these, and there is an untapped market awaiting!

Kate Graham — Ryhope, Sunderland , UK — 23 May 2002 at 09:19:00

Why don't you do a GCSE Latin revision book? I no its not exactly a very common subject, but it is really hard, and if your other books are anything to go by, then I think that you could really help people!!!!

Alistair White — Sutton Coldfield, West Midland, UK — 22 May 2002 at 23:09:00

i bought the books and had 6 A*'s. The colour and the jokes were great and i doubt how i wud of even got a D without ur maths one. I am a but guted thou cos u dont do the maths alevel book for WJEC sylabus..and im doin mechanics so would it be useful?

Sadie Jones — , UK — 22 May 2002 at 22:01:00

Natasha-lian howells — Abergwili, Carmarthen Carms , UK — 22 May 2002 at 20:38:00

Your books almost, not entirely, but almost, made my maths exam bearable. Now that's a compliment.

Sejavi Yesac — , UK — 22 May 2002 at 19:03:00

I thing the web site has changed but i thing u sould have online work sheet. That we can do.

Sharonjit Kaur Mahil — ILFORD, ESSEX , UK — 22 May 2002 at 17:16:00

Please please please can you bring out more revision guides for a-levels. The only reason I passed my G.C.S.E's was because of your G.C.S.E revision guides. The most useful one for me would be biology for both the AS AND A2 parts of this course. I have tried other companies but they just arn't as easy to learn from as yours. So if you are bored please make these guides!!!

Lisa Gibbons — St Ives, Cornwall , UK — 22 May 2002 at 17:07:00

have you not got any more better sitght for revishon

murtaza hussain — , UK — 22 May 2002 at 14:30:00

ive just logged on to see what your website is like.

bob — , Brazil — 22 May 2002 at 13:55:00

I love your books they are so accessible and easy to revise from. I've just had my Yr 10 exams and they were a great help. The only problem is you don't do revision books for Sociology or Beliefs/R.E. maybe your brewing these up as we speak but please please please if you are bring them out before next year!! If you are not then it would be worth thinking about as not many other company's do these either. Thanks:)

jonathan timmins — , UK — 21 May 2002 at 14:58:00

Christof ze Stud — , UK — 21 May 2002 at 14:44:00

Rashid — , UK — 21 May 2002 at 14:44:00

I used your books when I was sitting my GCSE's and achieved some good results (1A*,5A's and 4B's). I have to thank you for allowing me to achieve these results. I am now an AS student and I am in the middle of the exams (next one is tomorrow! HELP ME! ). I was wondering whether you would consider doing A2 Level revision guides and it seems a little unfair that you only do Maths AS when most people do not take Maths. Please do other subjects like Psychology, Sociology, English etc. It is too late to produce AS revision guides for me but not for many on my friends. Good Luck to everyone doing exams at the momment!

Joey — , UK — 21 May 2002 at 11:12:00

please send me notes on the gcse biolagy exam i need them badly before the 24 may

mohamdmasry — , UK — 20 May 2002 at 23:52:00

Your books are alright but the attempts at drawing in our worthless minds with use of bad puns and jokes which are obviously the tackiest thing ever are extremely worthless. Still, useful for revision!

Daniel Stocker — Keswick , UK — 20 May 2002 at 20:49:00

Hey, just like to say I think the books are great! They used to be annoying but after all the boring GCSE textbooks they're a relief! Keep making them!

<Beth Saffer — , UK — 20 May 2002 at 19:14:00

I love your cgp books and thanks to them I got an A* IN MY EXAM

Hayley Gilroy — , UK — 20 May 2002 at 18:15:00

i think this web site is very easy to use and very useful

james keen — , UK — 20 May 2002 at 18:10:00

I don't really enjoy school but thanks to your books, it makes some sense now! I used the books for my SAT's and now i have some for my GCSE's next year! I have ICT, Maths, French, Biology, Chemistry and Physics! But i chose to do Religious Studies for my GCSE's and you don't seem to have a book for that. Do you have any hidden away somewhere, but if you don't it might be worth thinking about getting some! Anyway, I am going to order a History one now and maybe persuade my parents to let me have a Maths one! Thankyou very much and keep making them because I want them for my A Levels too!

Lauren K — Rainham, Kent , UK — 20 May 2002 at 17:02:00

Why is there nothing for ks3 children to revise! Why cant you find some games or something for them to do until a teacher sends you one in. You are losing potential customers by not providing this service.

Miss Joanna weaver — , UK — 20 May 2002 at 16:35:00

i have just finished school and i am currently revising for my exams and i would like to thank you for making revision a lot easier and yes it is even fun your books are so useful but i was wondering if you do an information technology book for the computer illiterate peeps out here if you could get back to me i would be most grateful thankyou. lisa X

lisa handford — hucknall, nottingham , UK — 20 May 2002 at 15:26:00

Natalie Smith — gillingham, kent , UK — 20 May 2002 at 14:26:00

I had the opportunity to view your chemistry book,(4th ed) GCSE Double Science 2001 onward. I found it very easy to assimilate. I would like to know more about your product and how I may purchase them...Do you also have anything on physiology and microbiology? I am also interested in elementary algebra. I would also like to know the cost of your books in dollars...Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Lisa

Sara Wallis — , UK — 19 May 2002 at 12:14:00

Hi I fink ya books are the best and they really helped me wit my SAT'S. But you just need to put on some descent online revision to make cgp books even better!!

Sara — , UK — 19 May 2002 at 12:10:00

Do you have AS level revision guides

Phil Rose — Billericay, Essex , UK — 19 May 2002 at 10:23:00

why dont you have online versions of the books? it's easier to find information in a hurry to do your homework.

Gopesh Sharma — , UK — 18 May 2002 at 20:07:00

You guys are terrific. I found your books infinitely helpfull at GCSE unlike the text-book like competition. How aghast was I to discover that there were a very limited amount of A level books.... It's too late for me, CGP but you can still save other students from such a fate...revision guides for chemistry, geography etc are a must. p.s. Thier almost funny too!

Kevin — Caddington, Bedforshire , UK — 18 May 2002 at 18:38:00

Hello! I would just like to say thank you so much for your books! They really helped me mostly when I was revising for my common entrance exam but they also helped in my SATS. Your books made it very fun for me to revise. Thankyou again.

Camilla Harrison — Kingham, Oxfordshire , UK — 18 May 2002 at 18:32:00

I would really like there to be some more on the KS3 area as those are the exams I am coming up to I have them in a week and unfortunately have not started proper revision yet so more exercises would be appreicated

Kathryn — , UK — 18 May 2002 at 18:27:00

You don't realise how many times your books have saved my life in exams!! thanx!!!!!!

missmuffet — , UK — 18 May 2002 at 17:49:00

just wanted to say thanks for making AS maths bearable! it has to be admitted that i did a tad (understaement of the yr) more socialising than work this yr and was starting 2 wonder wether it would b best 2 just give up n hide under a pile of coats when i discovered ur revision guide. thanks for sharing ur knowlege of cows n the best way to eat a pelican biscuit with us silly ppl who have problems with the force fields which tend to form around parks, cafes and pubs preventing us from makin it to our lessons. let the days of mis-spent friday nights (and sat nights n sun nights n mon nights n tues nights n wed nights n thurs nights not to mention lunchtimes.....students aren't broke for nuthin) continue forever n let the amazing ppl who save us from the evil consiquences of failing exams continue to make these wonderful things known as revision guides. thankyou thankyou thankyou from yet another generation of misguided college students! :) alice x

alice — , UK — 18 May 2002 at 16:40:00

you should put some revision for key stage 3 in your online revision guide! the books are very helpfull but for the summary qusetions i would put answers at the end of the book!

hi! your books are really useful to work with - especially if you don't understand a particular topic. as someone else has already mentioned, GCSE music books would be rather useful as no where seems to offer any help! maybe you could be the first?

Eleanor Sandberg — , UK — 16 May 2002 at 18:44:00

Hi there Cgp, i just want to tell you that your books are GREAT!!! Only one thing: there is not an ICT book for KS3!!! Please consider making one, one that i will have to 'leave open to circulate the heat'!!! Thanks a bunch, Umaymah, your number 1 fan!!!

lucy — , UK — 16 May 2002 at 14:04:00

I have bought your Maths revision books and recommend them to my students ( FE college), they are excellent. but have you thought of producing either overhead transparencies or a Powerpoint presentation which corresponds with the revision guides? This would make make a difference in the delivery of maths, and other subjects, and would make buying a copy even more desirable. Ellen Dowling

C Smith — Stamford , UK — 16 May 2002 at 09:51:00

I'm taking Music GCSE and to be perfectly honest I am a tad miffed at your complete and utter lack of a revision book for Music. In the spirit of kindness and pity for future pupils taking Music, please do your best (and I will be checking up on you) to provide a book for this niche GSCE. Danke

RoRyThomas — Sanderstead, Surrey , UK — 15 May 2002 at 22:10:00

i think youre books r gr8, ive told everyone about them, BUT you dont have revisin pratice ppapers, online which is a big downfall, hope u can update that sometime, bye!!!!!!!!

nina — , UK — 15 May 2002 at 21:23:00

Hi! I would just like to say that I think your website's great, but I'm in yr 7, and I'm about to do my exams, and I couldn't find enything to help me!! Also, the games seem ok, but, it just seemed that you could play on other schools games, or read about buying books! (no offence) i really like your books, though, and they were a real help last yr, doing my SATS in yr 6. Bye, Hannah!!

Hannah Cutting — , UK — 15 May 2002 at 20:57:00

Tess keenan — , UK — 15 May 2002 at 14:40:00

I think that the CGP revision guides and the websites are very helpful with my revision, they help me to understand things more, and they explain things really well, especially with my science revision. The workbooks are also really good. I wish I had bought more revision guides and workbooks and earlier as I only have the science revision guides and workbooks, I am definantly going to get the A-level revision (work) books because I think they are really realy really really helpful!!!! Thanks for bringing them out.....They're great!!!!!!!!

I'm trying not to be rude but personally I think this website is not very good, in fact it's rubbish. It hasn't helped me with my key stage 2 sats at all. A certain website is 101 per cent better you can understand things more and it has more practice questions. I asked my friends at Blessed Sacrament junior school and they also thought thi website wasn't good. I just hope you will fix this website soon and actually help someone before this other website over rule. You should have some more of the thing you have got in your book on here, because your book is excelent. This is your only fault.

your books rock old been

charles cambell — , UK — 13 May 2002 at 18:26:00

I think your books are very good when it comes to revision. I have learnt a lot with them. One problem is they are written in annoying American English. Words like geesh and geez, and instead of really or very you say real. Apart from that minor fault they are a wonder!

Nigel Richards — carms, llanelli , UK — 13 May 2002 at 12:20:00

you don't have any good revision we cant seem to get on to it!!!!

faiza — , uk — 12 May 2002 at 21:39:00

The books are useful for me at the moment as Im revising for Yr10 exams. The only complaint I have is that you do not make any Drama revision books or some other subjects taken at school. Drama revision books can be useful for the written aspects in the exam, do you know any other books where I could get revision guides on this subject? I could do with having dictionary of terms and words used in drama! Smaller revision books could be made for these sort of subjects such as Technology, Music and R.E. Keep up the good work, Nikki (aged 14)

Nikki Barrett — Birmingham , UK — 12 May 2002 at 21:12:00

I really like your books and own most of the GCSE ones which are really useful in revision. I have one question for you though. Do you do drama revision guides? if you don't do you know anyone who does because a drama revision guide would be invaluable to me. thanks!

Nina Hammond — Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent , UK — 12 May 2002 at 16:28:00

I think that we should actually be able to revise on this site, i.e. be able to look at all the pages of the books while their online, so they can revise easily, without having to own a cgp book.

Amy Allen — Guildford , UK — 12 May 2002 at 15:47:00

I thought the books where great! a brilliant help

saxony — , UK — 12 May 2002 at 15:23:00

Hi my name's Kim and im 15 years old. Before I get all critical I just want you to know that I think your books are really funny and helpful. Ive got loads of your books and I used them for my SATs and now im using them to revise for stupid year 10 tests. I think they are realy good at explaining what your suppose to do and the little comments at the bottom of each page help to get me all motivated. I just wanted to let you know that I found some mistakes. The first is in GCSE Double Science Physics Higher Level, on page 38 there is a question at the bottom about echoes in water from a boat using sonar. I worked it out and I got a different answer to what the book said. So I checked it again and I still got a different answer. I asked my friends and they agreed with me. You used the speed of sound in air instead of the speed of sound in water. Please could you check this out for me and get back to me. I also found in the 'GCSE Double Science Biology' book that on page 28 it said that haemoglobin is red. This got me realy confuzled because I had always been taught haemoglobin is blue and oxyhaemoglobin is red (I think I might have spelt that wrong). I also wanted to know if you were going to do any books for peeps studing GSCE hier level Separate science, because thats what im doing and I had to get the double award books. Also it would be soooooooooo great if you could do a GCSE Music revision guide because there is so much to learn and me and my friends are finding it realy difficult to revise. I hope you read my letter and get back to me. Thanx very much. xxx

Can you please send me some questions on the english exam paper (foundation level)

kavin panchal — alperton, middlesex , UK — 12 May 2002 at 13:37:00

CGP Books are great to learn from! They are great for Kids who want to have a little fun when they are revising because of the little jokes and pictures.

Chris Bryan — Newport, South Wales , UK — 12 May 2002 at 12:44:00

This is brilliant but where is the study pages?

Sarah Jessica Willshaw — Cheddleton, Staffordshire , UK — 12 May 2002 at 12:32:00

I like the site but I wish there was a chance to try old papers or some of your books while I am online. Then it would help me with my revision on ks2. I need more help in science ready for next weeks SATS.

Gemma Marker — Ivybridge, Devon , UK — 12 May 2002 at 11:50:00

Thease books are briliant they are so easy to use you can find information about the subject you are doing and answer questions. Who ever came up with these books was a genius thanks Elisabeth 14

Lauren Glover — St. Helens (Mersey Side) , UK — 12 May 2002 at 08:31:00

I think this website is a sham, it says it's supposed to be helping me with my revision but it's just here to sell your books. I think you should be more clear about what your website is offering

Mary Johnson — , UK — 12 May 2002 at 08:27:00

I dont now if it is safe to give out personal details but I would be grate full if you would put me in the guestbook just with my name Sharon Please.

sharon law — , UK — 11 May 2002 at 21:40:00

I want to thank you for your great books, they're not only useful for GCSE courses but they're great for the IGCSE courses. I was hoping if you can write more AS/A level Edexcel books because we're suffering!! (especially chemistry and physics)

Lina — , Kuwait — 11 May 2002 at 19:34:00

11/4/02 Hello There CGP, It may dissapoint you for me to tell you that your website is not exactly what I was expecting. I came onto the website hoping to do some PROPER revision for my SATS which are in 2 days. I was hoping to find some web pages like the pages you have in your revision books on literacy. I was extremely disapointed to find all that was accsessable was some rubbish punctuation thing done by a school boy. Yours Connie Watson (Age 11)

Connie Watson — East Horsley , UK — 11 May 2002 at 17:45:00

I think CGP books are very good, but, I don't know whether I'm being blind-is there just an English practice paper or is there Maths and Science to? I've got exams the day after tomorrow (Monday 13) and the first exam on Monday is a story writing test. Could u reply 2 this and give some hints and tips on Story writing, Science (forces) math (division, addition, subtraction and multiplying) History (Tudors) , Goegraphy (rivers_) and French. Don't worry if u can't send me all these hints as I've asked 4 quite a lot but a few would be useful. Wish me luck cos I'm v. scared(!) - Love 2 all, Belinda Davies, pupil of Falkland St. Gabriels School, who use/have loads of your bks.x

Belinda — Kintbury, Hungerford , UK — 11 May 2002 at 17:38:00

chris hudson — Slough, Berks , UK — 10 May 2002 at 19:16:00

All your books I've used are brilliant but it would be better if you had more range in subjects, e.g. having Humanities and R.E. revision guides for GCSE. It would also be a good idea to split higher and foundation tiers in ALL your books. This way foundation people wouldn't be confused by higher stuff and higher people would have the more advanced stuff covered in more detail, as well as not being short changed by foundation explanations for questions in the lower end of the higher section.

Luke Hillary — Whittlesey , UK — 10 May 2002 at 18:01:00

braig holden — , UK — 09 May 2002 at 19:28:00

i'd like to make a serious comment on your books. i understand you try to make them funny, they make me and my friends laugh because these books have the worst sence of humour ever you just can't help laugthing at how cheesy these jokes are. it says in the front of the science KS3 rev. guide 'aimed at 11 - 14 year olds, more like 1-4 year olds. these comments, jokes and phrases are just NOT used in a skool playground. an example 'hecky thump, another page of joustling snooker balls', just think

ben — , UK — 09 May 2002 at 19:28:00

hey thx..i have ur books..they r great 4 revision..i got SATS..wish me luck :'(

Sarah Jeffs-Watts — , UK — 09 May 2002 at 18:27:00

Hello. I am just writing to say that the CGP Revision Books are very useful. Beforehand I was weak in Science and Macbeth, but after buying these books (which are cheaper if you purchase them through your school) I felt confident about taking my SATs. They also are the best revision books I've ever used. They are funny, so you actually remember what the books say. Thank you! Kiran Arora

Kiran Arora — , UK — 09 May 2002 at 18:23:00

when i go on online revision there is only english and no sciance (i am revising sciance)

Alex Smith — , UK — 09 May 2002 at 18:22:00

i borrowed my mates shakespeare twelfth night revision book and i would like to congratulate you on providing us mere mortals a brilliant revision guide for ks3. the book was filled to the brim with usefull facts, funny cartoons and the key scenes in the play. with your help i managed to go into the exam hall feeling confident. thank you. PS from my experience i am now going to by all the gsce revision books i need. well soon anyway.

emilie — , UK — 09 May 2002 at 18:17:00

CGP books are great. Especially the KS3 Science. I think Paddy is a good writer (is he irish?) BUT on page 89 about light he has spelled CGP as SCG at the diagram on Bottom right! (maybe it was Richard Parsons fault) Never mind. I still think there good. :)

Mandz — , Wales — 09 May 2002 at 16:24:00

I'm doing KS3 but there was no online revision! I know you're still waiting for stuff to be sent in but couldn't you just show the pages in the actual books?

Mandy Bell — Deeside, Flintshire , UK — 09 May 2002 at 16:15:00

Stephanie-Jayne Lamb — Penn, Wolverhampton , UK — 08 May 2002 at 21:03:00

hey, first your books are kinda helpful, but erm..sometimes you have a question in the exam paper, but don't have the explanation in the Revision Guide, which for me who's learning my GCSE course in approximately a month, isn't very helpful, but i suppose when i have my syllabus in front of me its good, cuz i end up covering a lot more than what i thought i was, which makes life so much easier! I Just need your ICT exam papers so that i can pass! :o)

Eva — Slough , UK — 08 May 2002 at 20:57:00

The books of cgp are great, they really help me revise and understand. I like the science because my science teachers a right nasty piece of work, so I can just curl up with a book and revise without being nagged! Unfortuatley, Cgp havent got any stuff for ks3, so I think I'll just stick with my book.

Jade Smith — London , UK — 07 May 2002 at 22:52:00

i think your books are brilliant. i loved the way you make up the funny pictures. any way got to go .email me back

craig wright — romford, essex , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:57:00

Hi i think that CGP books are good for GCSE revision. The jokes and plain layout make it easy to understand and sometimes fun. Although i do think that there are some subjects in the GCSE's that you may have overlooked and some you didn't include at all. I think you may need to think about getting a bigger range of books.

Emily — , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:55:00

i think your books are great, but i think you need to put more revision pages on this website because there isnt much help on this website.

lauryn bodell — enfield, middlesex , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:40:00

Hi. I think your books are really helpful to revise from but i was disappointed that there arent any practice papers online for ks3. Couldnt you put some on?

Harry — , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:39:00

The CGP books are decent - they have helped me through my GCSEs and i'm sure they r gonna help me through my A-levels! thanx CGP

Cybermaniac — , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:32:00

andy — , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:30:00

i found this very unhelpful! i came in here in hope to revise for my english exams for key stage 3, but found that u have no queations to answer no infomation about what i need to learn and the only way to be able to revise is to buy your books. and by then it will be too late! i love your books but am very disapointed with your website! from lisa

lisa burnham — cardiff , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:23:00

i think the website is quite good, but it has its downers! i think you should actually put in some effort your selves to add on some revision execises and some thing for the key stage three section. also, you dont give any hints on how you can create games and revision exercises for this website, otherwise i would do so. well i think i should stop insulting, otherwise your site is very good!! thank you

chloe mackie — , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:08:00

i think your site is excellent no wonder its so sucssesful. it really helps us a lot and so do your books . They have helped me understand certain areas in different subjects really well. and now im not so worried about my sats test. i hope you like my coments. thankyou!!!!!!!!!!

amy martin — chadderton, oldham , UK — 07 May 2002 at 21:04:00

Hi CGP! I'm in the middle of my KS3 S.A.T's and I bought the three revision guides, workbooks and practice papers from this site, and they have virtually doubled my marks, they're excellent value for money and sooooo easy to undersatnd, and the good thing is ... the info stays in your head, not in one ear, out the other!!! I'm now going to buy revision uides and workbooks for my G.C.S.E's!!! I would recommend you to any of my friends, as I'm sure, many, many people would! Cheerz! RJ

kennedy — derby , UK — 07 May 2002 at 19:17:00

hiya CGP, i totally agree with bexi d, there should be a GCSE music revision book cos it really is (from the experience i had in my mock exam) like going in totally blind!! i'm really good at the performance and composition bit but i pull my marks down with the listening and appraising exam. it wouldnt have to be a really long book (like geography) cos there's not that much, it's just the stuff u have to know is difficult and there's not much help out there! it's a bit l8 now cos my music exam's my first exam which is 2 weeks today. i'm not really havin a dig cos i think the rest of your books are BRILLIANT. i've got a geography one, a maths one and an I.T one and they've really helped me cos i struggle a bit with I.T and geography. Anyway, make sure u sort it out for future generations!!! :-) luv nix xx

I want to do some revision but your site will not let me.

David Dimbleby — , UK — 07 May 2002 at 18:48:00

As you all should know the ks3 sats are just around the corner. Today i had my English exam and when i was revising for my Maths sats which i have tomorrow (8th May). I had the ks3 maths cgp revision guide. When i went to open it i noticed a web address on the back so i decided to do some online revision. When the home page had loaded it all looked very pleasing. I went to the ks3 free revision questions only to find that the page wasnt open for the free questions. Why?

Nicola — , UK — 07 May 2002 at 18:26:00

I think this is great. Its got every single information you need to know. This is a great sitE and i will be on it all the time now. I've got 6 more days till my KS2 sats and boy aren't i worried. But CGP books are calming me down and giving we confindence. The CGP books are great fun, and for the first time in my life i am enjoying doing revision. So all i want to say to the CGP company is without you and your help i would be what i am now. HAPPY. THANK YOU. GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Hello cgp i love your books they make all the subjects really fun and i love filling them in! So far i only have your science book but i'm looking forward to getting more! Thanks for all your hard work and i thnk you should be very proud of what you have achieved!!! Good luck!

Alix Chan — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 19:37:00

I think your books are very good i have your science & your maths ones and they have helped a lot! I was a little disappointed though to find you have no practice revision on your website for KS3, surely you could put on pages or questions from previous SAT's papers as this would be a great help. From reading other entries in the guest book I have found a lot of people agree, please provide some?! Too late now though I have my English SATS's tommorrow and the others the rest of this week- wish me luck! But thank you any way for very good books, they are so much less boring then most revision guides and although at times corny the jokes do cheer it up! The maths one wasn't quite so fun because apart from the fact I hate Maths there was a lack of colour and jokes and basically usual CGP jolliness! Ok, I'm going to stop moaning now, this is getting too long, thanks guys! Oh but p.s: What is a teach?! I think you will find we call them teach-ERS!!! Bye!

Lizzie — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 19:25:00

hi, I know that so many peeps have said this but why don't u have any practice papers on this site? I've got my first exam 2moro and I'm REALLY worried, HELP!!! pleeeeeeeease put sum on b4 the end of the week, love lucie xxx

Lucie Dearling — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 18:25:00

I like the books and they have helped me to revise for my year 9 (key stage three) SATS. But they do take a very long time to complete and in the end I had to skip the revision summary's in order to finish it in time. So the comment I would like to make is, not to make the end of section questions so demanding, and to say how long (in days) average it will take, so next time I know how early on to buy them. Thankyou they have helped alot and are much more exciting to read than others. By the way the cheesy jokes are great!!! I hope you read this message. thanks! Emma age 14.

Emma Rutterford — Guildford , UK — 06 May 2002 at 18:25:00

it's stupid that u havnt got n e thing at all for KS3 online revision!

Sarah Miller — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 17:47:00

your books are very good but your web sit is not that good because you have no pratis papers

Lee harris — milton keynes , UK — 06 May 2002 at 17:34:00

The books are really good and I saw on the back that you could do some online revision so I thought Id try it but there wasn't any for SATs and I think it would be good if there was : )

Fay Humphreys — Colchester , UK — 06 May 2002 at 17:20:00

I thought your website was good, however you need to put more practice tests on rather than just the titles of books avaiable to buy to ensure a higher rate of education.

Faye — Preston , UK — 06 May 2002 at 17:16:00

As i was about to start the "practice paper" for my SAT's which are due on Friday 10th May. the site for Key stage three had no actuall practice questions on it. im sorry if i there are actually questions on it and i am wrong, i do appologise. please could you reply as this is the only site i found worth looking at. yours, eleri

Eleri Griffiths — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 16:59:00

Hi, i was reading the other entries to the guest book, and i agree with the fact that you use the word "ace" far too much, and that maybe you shouldn't tell people what isn't and what is in the cirriculum, but otherwise, i think they r great, but you really need to bring our more books for KS3, as i have exams in every subject, and it is kind of annoying having to revise for some subjects in one way, and others in another way. Also, i really think you need to work on your delivering the books system. You said it would take 3-4 working days, well it's monday now, and i ordered last saturday, which gave you 5 working days, and if you don't have one book in stock, well, we gave you our e-mail addresses on the form, so couldn't you e-mail us and tell us that they might be a bit late? Thankyou, Soumaya

soumaya — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 16:56:00

I think this site is a really good idea because it makes revising fun so kids grades will improve. Also there is revision suitable for kids from 7-16 years old so everyone can have a go!

Holly manley — Liverpool , UK — 06 May 2002 at 16:55:00

I think the website is good but i originally looked up the website so i could learn and revise for the SATs i thought it might be good for me if i could do some activities on the computer but I did not find much of that just you trying to sell your books that we get free at school anyway I wanted to learn

Sharn — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 16:52:00

i think u should actually put some questions in the ks3 section. as some children might actually need to revise for their SAT's

Eli — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 16:50:00

the books are very good and are helping me

kelly — , UK — 06 May 2002 at 16:43:00

Amber Wright — , USA — 05 May 2002 at 19:23:00

I thought that the Key Stage 3 Science book was brilliant. It was colourful and very useful but I was disappointed when I read "A number of trees were harmed in the making of this book." Although this is true that sort of humour is not funny as wasting trees is a real and threatening problem to us all. Over all, every book I purchased was very good.

Becky Foulger — , UK — 05 May 2002 at 19:22:00

i think your revision guide books r wikid-and hopefully thanx to your help i'll do well in my SAT'S in a weeks time-fingers cross hey

Hi, I'd like to complain about your website, that it is dull and boring compared to your books. I thought that your website will be more interesting than your books, but you have proved me wrong.

David Smith — Ickenham, Middlesex , UK — 03 May 2002 at 17:31:00

Personally I think that you come up with sad jokes and you use dont use technical words in a subject. I think you should use technical words and than underline them and explain what they are.

Alex Triny — Guildford , UK — 03 May 2002 at 13:51:00

I think your books are brilliant. Only if you give a wider range of books for A Level students (such as Maths S1, D1 and M1; Science; Business; and AVCE ICT and if you can make a vocabulary book to improve peoples vocabulary. Thankyou

Paul Mason — Woking, Surrey , UK — 03 May 2002 at 13:33:00

HI I WOULD LIKE A FREEE catalogue sent

HALISHA MASTER — , UK — 02 May 2002 at 13:41:00

I was just browsing through your guestbook and was disappointed to find my entry was not in it. Is this because I wrote something you didn't like ? I think so as all your entries are just personally selected ..ie, the ones that praise you. This has put me off your books even more even though all the guests say how brilliant they are.

Terri O'neill — , Northern Ireland — 02 May 2002 at 13:32:00

sam n ellie n zoe — , UK — 01 May 2002 at 20:45:00

Your ks3 books are very good to revise from, as they are colourful and detailed. However, I find you overuse the word 'ace', and after some time it gets annoying. And also by the way you all try to be hilarious, but honestly your jokes are quite pathetic! Keep trying!...

Lydia Henry — , UK — 01 May 2002 at 20:12:00

Fantstic website and books especially the GCSE one that I am using at the moment particularly the physics as we have a not very nice physics teacher.

I am opting Fench for my GCSE's next year and i found that site quite usful, but i didnt get a chance to go on the SAT's page, but i would just like to say i enjoyed tho website, and if it is possible, could you keep me updated by email, thank you

samantha jones — wales , UK — 01 May 2002 at 17:23:00

I really love your books I've got every one of them!!!!!!!!! The thing is I've got my real sats coming up because i'm in year 6. I dont really know whats gonna be on there so i dont know what to study (my best bet is the whole book). I also worried because i got a level 5 on my practice sats but i'm worried if i dont on my real sats. My teacher said to go through all the easy questions first.

Ashlee Brame — Ipswich, Suffolk , UK — 01 May 2002 at 16:28:00

I have bought all of your key stage 3 books and they are amazing! They are brilliant to revise from whether you understood the subject or not! The shakespeare 12th night is the best however the cartoons are brilliantly funny. THANKYOU!!!

Matt — , UK — 01 May 2002 at 15:59:00

My school loves cgp books.

Sarah Freegard - Foster — Tamworth, STAFFORDSHIRE , UK — 01 May 2002 at 15:25:00

ur books r helping me revise

Naomie Lupin — the moon , UK — 01 May 2002 at 14:20:00

I have just completed my Key Stage 3 science exam. As means of my revision I used your book. I would like to say I am thoroughly disappointed with it. All of the things you said that were taken out of the curriculum were, believe it or not, in it. I therefore had difficulty when sitting the exam. I was so annoyed that I felt I had to write to you and tell you this. Maybe it would be better if you didn't mention what was and wasn't in the curriculum. I used to have great faith in your books but now as I come to do my GCSE's I will not be buying them as I can't afford to do badly in them. I also found your use of vocabulary insulting and you made it out as if all teenagers are bad and stupid as if we don't know so called fancy words. I am totally serious in my comments and hope you take them seriously also. I am not the only one that thinks this as all my friends agree with me.

Terri O'Neill — , Northern Ireland — 01 May 2002 at 13:30:00

I think your revision guides are great! They are very clear and condensed, but would it be possible to write one for GCSE economics?

S.C. — , Hong Kong — 01 May 2002 at 12:49:00

the cgp book are very good they help me a lot

yasmin anderson — caldicot , UK — 01 May 2002 at 11:03:00
