Thank you on behalf of the Year 6 classes that I am and have taught with the help of your revision guides. We all appreciate the contents (if not the humour) contained therein. SATs would not be what they are without your publications!!

Alan Solomon — Cwmaber Junior School, Abertri, UK — 29 Nov 2002 at 09:39:00

I would just like to say that these books are amazing. I used the in my SAT's in year 6 and got two 5's and one 6. I also used them in my SAT's in year 9 and i got 7's and 6's. I think that everyone should use these books, there brilliant!!!

Kashantee — , UK — 28 Nov 2002 at 21:22:00

dj — , UK — 28 Nov 2002 at 21:18:00

we think ur books are wikid but sometimes u can really confuse a person i think in order to make ur books beta u need to break things down alot more. apart from that i think ur books are good but i do agree ur jokes are awful

fg — , UK — 28 Nov 2002 at 20:41:00

i am currently doing my GSCES and have found the CGP books to be a great help, better then any other revision guides that i have tried. Although i have lost my physics one and went on this site to see if it could help me with my revision but i did n't find it so useful because there wasnt much information. It would be great if you could do some practise exam questions. thanx xxx

lisa — , UK — 28 Nov 2002 at 20:40:00

Why do u not do a Classical Civalisation revision guide for GCSE. Currently there aint none in any make and i need one!

Charlie Lenon — , UK — 28 Nov 2002 at 20:28:00

Books will be used as reference/exercises by children. Recommended by form teachers.

Bernard PITMAN — , Bermuda — 28 Nov 2002 at 17:11:00

Gemma Collison — , UK — 28 Nov 2002 at 09:37:00

My daughter is in her GCSE year and we have bought as many of your books as we can (we wish that you did Italian though). They are fantastic and just fun to read even if you don't have to. Keep up the good work.

Sallyanne Beckett — , UK — 28 Nov 2002 at 08:38:00

i need help on the maths which is for year 5 my teacher said so.

anika alleyne — neasden, london , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 21:42:00

Very good - so far. I'm very disappointed though, not just at this site, but there are no sites which have practice exam QUESTIONS. Maybe you should have some of those? It would definately help to do some questions off a past exam paper for revision.

Lara Score — Farnborough , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 21:13:00

Tania Anderson — BFPO GERMANY , Germany — 27 Nov 2002 at 21:10:00

santoshi verma — bricklane, london , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 19:21:00

i love the books. they are very funny and they also help you alot as they are funny. how's this: it was a dark, misty night icicles hung of the branches of the trees you could hardly see. the fog was like a blanket covering the world.

Kirsty Morrison — , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 19:09:00

I think that you should have practice papers on your website you would make more money!

Charlotte Faulkner — Upwell, Norfolk , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 18:45:00

I have my modular tests tomorrow (on humans and metals) so I've been revising my largest muscle off (bum) it's mega scary but I'll get through it! The reasons I am writing this is because * your books have helped me soooooooo much. * the jokes in the books are so not funny they're funny! * I want to wish anyone luck if they're having ANY tests at school. * to tell you to get some online tests on your site. * that in your GCSE MODERN HISTORY book there are some incorrect dates of events. * and finally, (to anyone with a forthcoming test) read CGP, and lay back and relax, don't panic, as me and my friends say..."laugh 'til it hurts, cry 'till you laugh". Carry on revising!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to CGP, carry on writing your books!!!!!!!!!!!!!! luv fran xXx

Fran — Carleton High , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 18:32:00

I just love your books... they're superb. Keep them coming!

Ross Thomas — , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 17:53:00

What about revision guides for gnvq's or graphics or maybe even art. Have you even got a guide for geology? Maybe you should start books for these subjects.

we all love you

minmay perry — devonport, plymouth , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 09:42:00

I think that the site should explain in more detail about each modular and give us a chance to send an e-mail to a teacher and ask them a question.

Yvonne Taylor — Cosham, Hampshire , UK — 27 Nov 2002 at 08:38:00

Can you explain me what is the guess book.

Cassandra Lordie — , USA — 26 Nov 2002 at 23:25:00

Ciao belli, I like what you do !

bobaz — milano , Italy — 26 Nov 2002 at 21:55:00

I love the books as i have just said but the site definitly needs to be cheered up and made to look better. It was all over the place and not that easy to use. i was so pleased you could buy online and i will be coming back but i think the site could be better. Sorry if this is disappointing but the books are GREAT.

Daniel Keating — , UK — 26 Nov 2002 at 21:04:00

These have to be by far the very best books out there for any one of any age. I used these books for my sats and gained great marks and i am not studying for my GCSE's and i have ordered another 5 books tonight. They just cant be beaten as they are so interesting and down to earth. if you were in doubt about buying them - just get them cos they wont let you down.

Daniel Keating — , UK — 26 Nov 2002 at 21:01:00

Good books, very helpful, but the jokes are awful! sheesh get a better writer!

Jay — Liverpool , UK — 26 Nov 2002 at 20:25:00

I think it would be great if a book for music GCSE was made and Latin because I really struggle in these subjects.

hayley coy — , UK — 26 Nov 2002 at 19:53:00

U R a brilliant company and you have helped me lots, you just keep coming up with new things. I think the way that U present your information is very cool and encourages kids to read and learn. Thanx very much.

Sam — , UK — 25 Nov 2002 at 20:47:00

i think that cgp books are actually very helpful, and as for the jokes, well! some are funny but some of them are really just stupid but anyway! i am doing my GCSE's and i have just been revising my history! i cant believe that haig told his men to walk! u can just imagine it. "come on men we had better walk! give the germans time to prepare their machine guns to kill us all with!" any way THE BOOKS ARE GREAT!!!!!BUY THEM IF U CAN!

i like these books they are really cool

terrie anne barnett — , UK — 25 Nov 2002 at 17:32:00

I would just like to say that I think you should do a separate book in MATHS, SCIENCE, ENGLISH for level 6 students in year7. I feel that my school isn't giving me the right work for my needs. So I'm having to plan my own work so that I can do a lot extra. HELP... U DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH!

Danielle — , UK — 25 Nov 2002 at 17:18:00

very good and snazy, makes learning fun.

nick dowrick — , UK — 25 Nov 2002 at 17:10:00

Why is there no on line revision for ICT?

David Roberts — Torquay Community College , UK — 25 Nov 2002 at 16:17:00

BEN RANDALL — , UK — 25 Nov 2002 at 12:34:00

I think your books are very good but I have four kids and have bought a lot of your books for GCSE and a few KS2. I have an order I would like to make for 40 different books but at bookshop prices It won't happen .

Sharon — , UK — 24 Nov 2002 at 23:05:00

Hamera Arshad — Nottinghamshire , UK — 24 Nov 2002 at 19:11:00

This rubbish side because no one can revise online and if u buy it will take 8 pounds and some people want`s to buy but didn`t revise and the books get waste. thats it

Iju dada — London , UK — 24 Nov 2002 at 16:27:00

i love using cgp books they're ace !!

Olla — , UK — 24 Nov 2002 at 15:42:00

I think that the books are a fun way of learning

Ibrahim Ali — , UK — 24 Nov 2002 at 15:14:00

Dear Sir ,having just set my daughter one of your 11+ revision papers I read with utter horror and consternation your question in the Verbal Reasoning Section 1 Q9 "SURGEON IS TO (INCISION, GLOVES, NURSE) AS DENTIST IS TO (FEAR, SPIT, INJECTION). This question was obviously set by somebody with a lower intelligence quotient than the children it is intended to test. It totally undermines and reinforces the popular belief that visiting a dental surgeon is going to be by definition a wholly unpleasant and frightening affair involving pain, needles etc etc. To further complicate the already very difficult job of dedicated health care workers shows a lack of foresight of bewildering proportions.May I request you erase this irresponsible question forthwith before further damage is done!

Dr Peter Baldwin — Dartmouth, Devon , UK — 24 Nov 2002 at 12:45:00

the site is really good for buying books but with revision i was disappointed not to find any pass papers from the past where we could test ourselves on. i have a module gcse exam this week and i was hoping to find papers to help me revise.

Dilraj Kaur Paul — , UK — 24 Nov 2002 at 11:12:00

nuing custom. Your teaching materials are undoubtedly in a class by themselves.

Mr O.B.Audifferen — London , UK — 24 Nov 2002 at 09:55:00

Chloe Fisher — hull , UK — 23 Nov 2002 at 13:06:00

I think your books are great, they help me loads especially in science, but can you please bring out another book for GCSE modular sciences, modules 13-18, because I don't know how I will get through them without your books. Thankyou

Emily Taylor — , UK — 22 Nov 2002 at 20:55:00

What's the point of doing a GCSE Single Science guide, when not that many people do single sci. and wat u cud do is indicate what work is only for double science in ur existing guides.

GC — , UK — 22 Nov 2002 at 17:40:00

Your books are the most annoying things ever. They're patronizing and degrading and treat us as if we are 7 year old Californian surfers using word like dude and radical. Hugs and kisses Jonesy

Ben Jones — , UK — 22 Nov 2002 at 12:18:00

This book is absolutely phenomenal quite possibly the greatest read I've ever had

J Z — , UK — 22 Nov 2002 at 12:14:00

However I'm also taking music, and I'm desperate for a revision guide for it!!! Please help as your books realy help me to understand, and I'v got my mocks at Xmas!!!! PLEASE HELP.

Gemma Woodall — , UK — 21 Nov 2002 at 22:03:00

This web site is neat, but instead of people ordering books from you, you should aslo allow people to get practice pages from the book so they can get an idea of what to look forward to see in the book. Also so if they dont like the practice sheets then they dont have to buy the book but with how this website is set up someone could buy the boo and not like it or it just doent help them at all so i hope you read this and decide to put practice pages (print-offs) on your website. Thankz, Ashton Harrison

Ashton Harrison — , USA — 21 Nov 2002 at 21:49:00

i think you books are a excellent idea i am just learning for my year 9 sats and your books have really helped me thank you loads

tiffany hollis — , UK — 21 Nov 2002 at 19:37:00

I had a look in the new GCSE RE book, and didn't find anyhing on Hinduism and Sikhism. What's up?!?

Taz — , UK — 21 Nov 2002 at 19:23:00

The book is pathetic it should have tests that you can do after revising to show that you are getting better.

Louis Collis — , UK — 21 Nov 2002 at 18:19:00

Congratulations on the revision guides! They are a fantastic aid to all forms of exams. I've noticed several pleas for music GCSE and A level books and i add my vote to this. I would find these immensely useful. Im about to take my GCSE's so a music GCSE book would come too late (!)but an A/S or A level Music book would be fantastic. Thanks!

Cesca Trundle — , UK — 21 Nov 2002 at 16:20:00

I think the revision guides are exellent! you could you try to make Leisure and Tourism revision guides.

Aman Virdi — , UK — 21 Nov 2002 at 15:35:00

farihah ahmed — , uk — 21 Nov 2002 at 15:22:00

I have your A level Mathematics revision guide and it is superb, why dont you do other subjects at A level? I really need a good A level physics workbook and revision guide and I find your style books so easy to learn from. Any plans in the pipeline to introduce these books?

Jenny Grosvenor — , UK — 21 Nov 2002 at 15:22:00

To be honest I am the worlds worst reviser! But I found your website fun and interesting! How ever I must say you had alot of great revision stuff for Maths, English and Science where as you were lacking in other subject areas such as History and Geography. I would also like to see revision guides for Leisure and Tourism and Drama. Thankyou

Claire Mounsey — , UK — 20 Nov 2002 at 19:02:00

Thank you for so much hard work and effort that has been put into your books. Please, please, please could you publish a Midsummer Night's Dream revision guide for KS3 English. Thank You

its rubbish because you cant take tests but your books are good ive got some at home

Tom Brooke — , UK — 20 Nov 2002 at 17:13:00

I think that CGP is great for revision as it breaks topics down so they are more digestible and easier to absorb! I like the fact that there is an option to go over exam questions from past papers to enable you to feel prepared for whatever you may face in the forthcoming GCSE's.

Katie Holmes — , UK — 20 Nov 2002 at 14:47:00

Your books are so fantastic, they really helped me with my exams. Thanks CGP

Kathryn Stewart — , UK — 20 Nov 2002 at 13:46:00

C Russo — , UK — 20 Nov 2002 at 09:57:00

I think these books are excellent and a great help, Thank you! Although i do think that £4.50 is a bit expensive seeing as most students have to buy a fair number of theses. Lucy XXX

Lucy — , UK — 19 Nov 2002 at 21:55:00

your revision books have helped me loads!!! keep up the good work!

Stuart Martin — Isle of Wight , UK — 19 Nov 2002 at 21:28:00

I think that your revision guide books are really great the give me alot of help and all my friends use them too. but there is only one thing, i think that you should get more in touch with the teachers as they can tell you exactly what we are learning in school. have you any CD roms out? Emma.

Emma Flanagan — , UK — 19 Nov 2002 at 21:17:00

Can i look into a science Revision guide and tell me about Solids, Liquids and Gases

Lucy Rahman — , UK — 19 Nov 2002 at 20:16:00

sean dolman — , UK — 19 Nov 2002 at 19:50:00

I've enjoyed the Ks2 revision books for years and got them for the Year 6's. Now I'm into computing and am using the workbooks for our Year 3 and exploring the possibilities of Year 4 to 6. Can I get onto the resources mentioned in the workbooks?

David Ford — Claremont Fan Court Junior Sch, UK — 17 Nov 2002 at 21:04:00

I dont think your books are funny at all (the milk thing is very strange) . i dont get anything and you should have the answers at the back and explantions for the questions

Your books are a godsend! thanx 4 all the hard work put into them!

Andy davies — , UK — 14 Nov 2002 at 22:36:00

I think the CGP maths book is excellent, they do do what they say 'make everything really clear' and they are 'immacuatly presented and dangerously close to being funny!!!

Nick — , UK — 14 Nov 2002 at 22:16:00

I have just sent for a large order of your ICT revision guide. They are excellent. Could you please send me a copy of your business studies revision guide? Thanks!

steve royle — lowton high school, lowton, wa, UK — 14 Nov 2002 at 22:12:00

Not very good so far

Laura — Kirton, Boston , UK — 14 Nov 2002 at 21:29:00

I recently bought the GCSE Resistant Materials Revision book. This added to my collection of all the other books i have purchased from you. I was however very disappointed by this book, it was very thin, and the quality of material inside was very vague and not helpful at all

Amandeep S. Gill — , UK — 14 Nov 2002 at 20:28:00

Pretty good but why don't you put your guides on the net?

Luke Barker — Knottingley , UK — 14 Nov 2002 at 15:37:00

why do the books have the answers in the back of them because kids will find them and just look at them and cheat and not learn anyything only the teachers copy should have the answers in the back r there own copy of the book

kris hunter — rawmarsh, rotherham , UK — 14 Nov 2002 at 10:44:00

i think this website is great! but i still think you should sell the CGP books cheaper!!!

jayda austin — Leicester , UK — 13 Nov 2002 at 21:38:00

sarah — stanmore , UK — 13 Nov 2002 at 19:41:00

The books are great they are a lot of use and have helped me with year 6 and 9 sats and are currently helping me a lot with science GCSE. I am also doing a separate science course and was disappointed to find that you did not do a revision guide for this.

Emma White — Blandford , UK — 13 Nov 2002 at 19:10:00

I live in spain and I go to an english school called "the british school of Barcelona"

Christie Dolara — , Spain — 13 Nov 2002 at 18:45:00

I love your books, they got me through my SATs with all 6's and 7's and hopefully will do the same for my GCSE's but I do have one pointer. Me and my best mate are taking Systems and Control (lol we are the only girls in our whole year!) and I think you should have a book for that since there is as much theory as other subjects.

Spitfire — Sheffield , UK — 13 Nov 2002 at 17:52:00

I agree with u megan this site is great

paulo — , Brazil — 13 Nov 2002 at 11:27:00

I LOVE the funny comments on the back of the books, like 'to open, place hands on pages and pull apart' or 'iron when damp' These add extra hilarity to the EXCELLENT books, I actually ENJOY revising...weird!

Soph — , UK — 12 Nov 2002 at 21:36:00

A very informative site. I am interested to purchase some books. However, I need to know the individual prices for the books and the cost of transporting them to South Africa

Glenda Coetzee — Oakhill school, Knysna , South Africa — 11 Nov 2002 at 08:40:00

The revision books you publish are really good and help me a lot in subjects like Science, English and Maths

John Wlodarski — North Acton, London , UK — 10 Nov 2002 at 19:08:00

CGP books are fantastic and I only have the KS2 Science, Maths and English Study Books, and other people have told me the other are cool. (I have the answer books too!) The site is also great too.

lauren — , UK — 10 Nov 2002 at 17:48:00

i think this website is really good because you can see what book you want before you buy it.

francesca white — isle of wight , UK — 10 Nov 2002 at 17:10:00

i think that u should include a page where you can look through the revision guides it will help every one and you would get more people coming on to your site because i am not interested in your site because it doesn't let me look through the books! please take my point into consideration when you next update your website or you will loose your custom.

hannah lloyd — sale , UK — 10 Nov 2002 at 16:14:00

Hi CGP, great books! I have just started my GCSE Music (well in September!). I was disappointed to see that there are no books by CGP in this subject. GCSE Music books seem to be few and far between at the moment. Any chance of you lot producing one? So far I have all 3 Double Science books (Bio, Chem and Phys), a Maths book, and a Modern World History book. I used your books throughout years 7-9 and got 8 7 6 in my SATS (The 6 was in english but my teacher assessed me as a 7) so thanks loads!

Chris — , UK — 10 Nov 2002 at 15:02:00

I think your books are great - they've really helped me! However, if we cant get them through the school they are £4.50 which is loads - especially when I need all my subjects! Unfortunately, some of my teachers dont get us revision guides so we have to buy them privately and I cant because it is too expensive!
