Well, I'm a Spanish boy who studies in an English school in Tenerife. I would love to now how to buy the standard grades books of Maths and Science KS3. Don't you have any Geography books? I love your books.
Diego Betancor — Tenerife, Canary Islands , Spain — 29 Sep 2003 at 20:16:00
I thought the books were rubbish
Jamie Baston — , UK — 29 Sep 2003 at 20:11:00
I think the GCSE modules book for science is so useful, as everything which is in the test is in that book, and it's so clear and easy to understand. The book explains it clearer than my teachers! It's getting me all C's so far, which is excellent as the level my class is at being taught at is a C!
Rach — , UK — 29 Sep 2003 at 19:47:00
I have found your books absolutely brilliant. My three boys do not like learning or reading but because the information is in short bursts with jokes to get the point across they will use these. Will you be doing a revision guide or text guide for "a view from the bridge" it is one of this years set texts for GCSE?
Kim Benn — Portishead, Bristol , UK — 29 Sep 2003 at 18:01:00
I moved over to New Zealand last year and still use these books as they're better than any of the books here. They make it so easy to absorb the information and the tests at the end of the chapter are really helpful.
Alarice — , New Zealand — 29 Sep 2003 at 00:41:00
Wouldn't be without your books for the world. As a teaching assistant in a primary school I find them a very valuable source of information on frequent occasions e.g. when a child asks a question about the 'water cycle' or 'Tudors'. I am always on the lookout for new publications.
Caroline Hurley — , USA — 28 Sep 2003 at 20:47:00

The maths & English books I purchased were great for my 13 year old son whom I teach at home. I would like to know why I can not find books like yours or similar in public libraries? I ask this because there are low income families who might not be able to buy books. Keep up the good work.
Caroline Fox — Deptford, London , UK — 27 Sep 2003 at 19:43:00
Is it possible to come up with a dance and drama guide? Just key points like - be aware of where the audience is cos' it's so hard to remember them all, for every time you perform! I always forget at least 2! I'm sure you'd do a good job of it if you did!
Jo — Rainworth , UK — 27 Sep 2003 at 17:43:00
I Love your books and I think they are great to revise with. The books make a particular subject fun for children and I love it . The only thing is you need some games for English and science online thank you very much.
Loz — , UK — 27 Sep 2003 at 16:32:00

Could it be considered for some courses to create a KS3/GCSE humanities revision guide.
Steven T — , UK — 25 Sep 2003 at 12:54:00
We think your books are brilliant! We have used the Science Study books and workbooks for a few years and are maintaining our 100% at Key Stage 2 Sats, with about 3/4 achieving level 5 - thank you so much. Tomorrow I shall be putting in an order for the new Writing / Reading booklets for Y6. My own children - one a new graduate and another a new under-graduate, used the GCSE revision guides, so we really are great fans! We love the funny comments on the back of the books and inside and look forward to each new thing you produce - it might even tempt me to take another A level, just so I can use one of your books myself! Now that would be sad. Oh, and the children love them too. Thanks for enlivening their learning.

I think the web site very good but I also think that on your online learning you allow people to use the books that you provide if you can sell them then why can't you use them on the online learning.
Tasha Hesling — Eastbourne, East Sussex , UK — 22 Sep 2003 at 22:34:00

As the subject is now compulsory, my school and no doubt others across the country, would look forward to one of your excellent guides. Many thanks.

As a parent who Home Educates a 9yr old child, I have found CGP Books an absolute lifesaver, my daughter loves them and thoroughly enjoys learning at home. We use the science and literacy packages, she is doing so well that I have just put her on Yr6 sats buster books 18 months ahead of her age group. Well done CGP.
Mrs V Roberts — , UK — 21 Sep 2003 at 14:54:00
The revision pages were very useful, thank you very much.
Luke King — , UK — 21 Sep 2003 at 12:40:00
I found that this web site was very helpful. Will be using it again in the future.
Naomi Carton — , Northern Ireland — 21 Sep 2003 at 00:43:00
I, like most others on this site, think your books are very helpful. The maths higher book explains things so much better than my teacher does! Only one thing - can you do an Italian revision guide? More and more people are learning Italian and there's no CGP book to help them!
Emma — Surrey , UK — 20 Sep 2003 at 14:56:00
I think your books are the BEST! I don't care what anyone says, because of your books I got through all my sats and my predicted GCSE grades are all above B! thank you so much I couldn't have done it without you lot.

Rimpal — Leicester , UK — 19 Sep 2003 at 21:38:00
This is my first time on the site, I am from Belfast and doing my transfer test in November, I was wondering why you do not have books for this test. Unless my tutor kindly showed me what to revise in your books, I would be lost. I memorised everything in your science book and was told, "No, don't have to know that," I was extremely upset about this, I was wondering if any books on the transfer test will be made. Yours faithfully.
Rosa-Marie — Belfast , Ireland — 19 Sep 2003 at 21:34:00

Where can I buy your books in Europe or better in Germany.
Nicola CHARAP — Cologne , Germany — 18 Sep 2003 at 10:35:00
I've been getting CGP books since primary school and I think they are great. I recommend them to anyone who is struggling on their subjects. Also it's great how they managed to cover everything from maths, science and English to food tec and child development. Go out into the shops and buy them now!
Joanna Blackwell — , UK — 17 Sep 2003 at 20:42:00
I think your book's are great and very reasonable for the price!
Joe Bloggs — , UK — 17 Sep 2003 at 19:33:00
Your books are great - practically everyone at Thorpe St. Andrew School in Norwich has them and swears by them!
Theo Jones — Strumpshaw, Norwich , UK — 17 Sep 2003 at 18:37:00
As a student science teacher I have found these books to be a life saver. Not only are they great for using with the children, who think they're very funny, but they are fantastic for filling up gaps in my own knowledge. Great value, and amazing delivery - they arrived in less than 19 hours, I was stunned! It makes a refreshing change to come across a company that takes pride and effort when dealing with customers - I shall be recommending you to all my fellow students.
Louise — , UK — 17 Sep 2003 at 12:41:00
When our family was having our holiday in the U.K. this summer, I accidentally saw your books in a bookstore and really liked them. I ordered them by phone in separate lots and was very amazed at how fast they all arrived. They were at our doorstep in less than 24 hours! You make difficult subjects so easy to understand. My son loves the colours and the jokes. What amazes me most is that they are so affordable. The discovery of CGP books must be the best part of our holiday. Thank you so much.
Dorothy Chan — Kowloon , Hong Kong — 16 Sep 2003 at 15:56:00
Your French GCSE workbooks are brilliant and I am now teaching German so I wanted to get the equivalent for German. I'm horrified as there are none. Has no one else ever asked for them? The French ones are perfect and if you did Germen ones anything like them they would be perfect too. Is there any chance of your doing them this school year? I hope so - you do them so well!
Cynthia Johnson — Chorley , UK — 16 Sep 2003 at 11:47:00

Mannie K — Leeds , UK — 15 Sep 2003 at 17:29:00
Excellent and well written and easy to understand books for the kids of all ages. Like the books and ordered few for my kids. Should give discount on bulk purchases. In any case, worth it.
Malvinder S. Parmar — , Canada — 14 Sep 2003 at 22:17:00
CGP books are excellent! The books that I have ordered which were GCSE Modern World History and The Schools History Project- The American West and Medicine Through Time. I will soon be ordering the GCSE Modern World History - Twentieth Century Britain. I would like to be a history teacher when I get older and CGP history study and revision guides are very interesting! CGP are fantastic books!
Mark James Fisher — , UK — 14 Sep 2003 at 21:46:00

Hi there, Excellent books, I find them very useful, colourful and cheap. but there's a book which I've been looking for, I was wondering don't you have the GCSE CGP ELECTRONICS book, because I have chosen electronics as one of my GCSE and I cant seem to find any books for this particular subject. Thanks!
Javed Asif — Walsall , UK — 13 Sep 2003 at 18:16:00
I think that your books are not very good. They have unnecessary stuff in there and they don't detail well enough. The jokes are hardly ever funny, which don't get us any where when revising! I don't like your books!
Aisha — Tooting , UK — 13 Sep 2003 at 16:14:00
When I first heard about this site I said OMG!! What is the world coming to, now we even have revision sites on the net. But when I was looking through Google I accidentally ended up on this site, and it was actually quite handy. I printed of some revision tips, and played the game were you have to put the wrong ones in the correct order. I give this site a double thumbs up!
Lauren Williams — Dolgarrog, Conwy , UK — 13 Sep 2003 at 14:31:00
Last minute revision for SATs and school exams have really paid of with excellent results and marks. I'd recommend your books to anybody. They have been really useful, entertaining and proved to be successful. Thanks for everything.

This is great for revising. So give it a go.
Mollie — Watford, Herts , UK — 12 Sep 2003 at 20:00:00
I am a parent and I often browse your site to find out "What's New". I never cease to be highly amused at your jokes, to the point where I was recently sitting at the PC laughing, and my daughter looked up and said "Mum, you're not looking at the CGP web-site, AGAIN ! "...True. Keep up the excellent work and "Thanks" from a grateful parent.
Christine Eden — Romford , UK — 12 Sep 2003 at 13:47:00
When taking my GCSEs a few years ago I achieved A* in all the subjects I had your revision books for. Unfortunately at that time you didn't produce books for a few of my other subjects - I didn't do too badly though! Your books are just great - I am now trying to get hold of one for each subject my sister is taking.
Coral Davis — , UK — 12 Sep 2003 at 13:29:00
Those have got to be the best demon fighting tips I have ever seen. Check them out fellow surfer types. They're in the exam tips bit in the online stuff. Cool get me my vest, I'm going in...

Faith Brewer — , UK — 11 Sep 2003 at 08:31:00
I can highly recommend the Science GCSE revision guides, the additional material for Triple Science was particularly useful (I even enjoyed helping him revise!)- my son got A and A*'s in his Science subjects. Also an exceptionally efficient ordering system both internet and telephone. Well done. We have now got the A level Maths Guides, but were disappointed that the Science subjects are not available. Any plans to publish a Physics book?
Julie — , UK — 10 Sep 2003 at 22:14:00
Dear CGP master's, my daughter who is 11 years old, and my son who is 7 years old are going to be doing SATs exam this year. How can I help them by getting a good result, what type of books (all subjects) should I get them?
Shilpee — Chislehurst, KENT , UK — 10 Sep 2003 at 22:10:00

Kali — , UK — 08 Sep 2003 at 17:51:00

I would like to know the amount I need to pay and how long will it take to come when I order them online. Would you please send me all the information.
Chandani Chawla — , Nepal — 08 Sep 2003 at 17:38:00
NO offence but I think the complete revision and practice books are absolutely fab! Just came out and they're great! However almost all the books have scores on them (lines on the front cover) which look industrial mistakes rather than shop assistant antics! Thanks
Anonymous — , UK — 08 Sep 2003 at 16:34:00
Hi, i am a Business Studies teacher at my school. As like any school the teachers urge pupils to practice independent learning, the school always recommends your books, but many pupils claim your books are too expensive to buy. If that is nationally the case then you may be losing out on a profiting scheme. As you only charge £2.00 for school buys, and £4.50 for shops, it is evident that you make a reasonable amount of profit but I think if you maximise sales by reducing prices rather than maximise profit, you can make a lot more money! regards.
Sandy — , UK — 08 Sep 2003 at 16:32:00
The GCSE books are brilliant, shame there isn't a bigger selection at A/S & A2 Level.
Bobby — , UK — 08 Sep 2003 at 12:31:00
We like the look of the books so much. We will be ordering some
Mark Fleming — ST MICHAELS SCHOOL R.C., STOCK, UK — 08 Sep 2003 at 10:19:00
I thought the books were good but quite expensive to buy if you are not getting them from school so i cannot afford to buy your geography one.
joanna shenton — Barrow , UK — 07 Sep 2003 at 18:37:00
I am a form teacher for year 7 children. I always use your books in every subject and thanks to you they excel, however they consistantly have a below average grade in Latin, is there one available, if not, are you planning to bring one out? Thank you.
J. Rowntree — , UK — 07 Sep 2003 at 17:47:00
It would be nice if you added questions in science and English in KS3 and if you made them more colourful and fun to do
nakaa atiyeh — London , UK — 07 Sep 2003 at 13:47:00

L.Holland — Ashton u lyne, lancs , UK — 05 Sep 2003 at 14:23:00
I'm only fourteen years old and I was taken out of school on account of not being able to cope with other people. I now learn from home, and I'm taking my GCSEs next year. All the CGP books have been a great help for me - as I have been feeling depressed after having left school, but this has made learning fun!

I really like the books because they're easy to understand but I think the new added books have a very high price and people won't buy them because of the prices. I hope this issue could be sorted. But I really like the way use explain clearly but sometimes you don't explain how you do the examples in the books. Thanks for listening.

I think it is ridiculous that you have a revision guide for child development, textiles etc yet you have nothing for the one subject that most people struggle in - Latin, you should seriously think about publishing one.

I have some of your books for GCSE maths and I find them very comprehensive and well explained, however I have a problem with Latin, do you have such a guide for Latin? If you don't, then I think you should think about doing one, there would be a lot of demand for one!

I'd just like to thank CGP books for being so helpful when revising for sats, I'll definitely be buying your books for GCSE!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for producing such good and accessible double science revision guides. This time last year I was "on track for a grade B" according to my physics report, and ended up coming out with a double A*! They truly are brilliant, and I swear by CGP books for science. I only have one suggestion, and that is for the language guides, I would suggest you added more "stylish phrase examples". I used both CGP and another's revision guides

Thanks for making the GCSE music books, because they will be a great help to me, because other publishers don't make them I don't think, it's just I thought there would be sections on different music like reggae or ground bass or rondo, I saw there a few, but not that many on the contents page. But anyway I think the book is better than anything else so far. Could you also bring out GCSE Latin revision and workbooks, that would be a great help. Thanks anyway, keep the good work up!

Thanks for adding GCSE Music. I now know that my daughter will pass her GCSE Music, that is how much confidence that I have in your books. Keep up the good work.
