Jolly good books
Michael R — , UK — 30 Jan 2005 at 16:52:00
Disappointed that there is no government and politics revision guide.
Ben Dunkley — CM6 2SE, , UK — 30 Jan 2005 at 15:44:00
Although they are good books I would suggest you add more fun games to the KS3 section of the website. Because frankly teenagers don't want to learn and its our job to make it easier and more enjoyable for them
Caroline — , UK — 30 Jan 2005 at 15:29:00
Your books are really helpful to me and I got a 5444 in my sats thanks for all your help.
Lois — , UK — 30 Jan 2005 at 15:24:00
How do you order a catalogue?
Zoe — Welwyn Garden City, Herts, , UK — 30 Jan 2005 at 13:30:00
I think this is really cool especially as I have my SATs coming up in 10 weeks. I need to revise now I've been looking at the books it looks like a really cool thing to do.
Lottie Ashford — Walsall, West Midlands, , UK — 29 Jan 2005 at 19:04:00
I would like help in my SATs subjects to give me a boost in getting better grades thank you.
Farah Hameed — Foleshill Coventry, , UK — 29 Jan 2005 at 16:39:00
The games on the online revision bit are really boring!
Charlotte — , UK — 29 Jan 2005 at 14:56:00
Thanks for all the great help that has got me through my exams! I'm now studying for my Key Stage Three (gulp!) and your books are helping me a lot! They are really funny and easy to understand. Thanks a lot CGP, wish me luck in May!
Christina — , UK — 29 Jan 2005 at 14:51:00
Your online revision was helpful with my physics homework - thanks!
Lucy — Wakefield , , UK — 29 Jan 2005 at 14:30:00
I enjoy looking at books and test papers and I will be hopeful buying some of your items in the future
Rob Keniwell — Leeds, , UK — 29 Jan 2005 at 12:24:00
Just to say I think your revision books are fantastic. They have helped me with all my revision for KS3 and I think I shall get good marks. Thank you again.
Charlotte Humphreys — , UK — 29 Jan 2005 at 11:06:00
I think this is a great site and that the CGP books are the best for revising because they don't seem so daunting and make revising a lot more fun.
Francessca — , UK — 29 Jan 2005 at 10:38:00
It has been good going through your books and it gave me more confidence for the big day (SATs).
Miriam — London, , UK — 28 Jan 2005 at 18:24:00
It's me again who said about the books being expensive, I just want to add that I think the website is useful and I ordered a French revision guide at 5pm one day a few months ago and it arrived the next day! Super posting, well done.
Claire — , UK — 28 Jan 2005 at 17:05:00
I like CGP books, I think they are great, but some are expensive. The £4 ones are fine, but my English teacher has recommended GCSE English Lit AQA A Anthology - Clarke/Heaney Poetry Guide and it is £8 which I think is a lot to pay for a guide that I might only use before the exam. So I think if you lower your prices, everything will be perfect as that is the only drawback of your books.
Claire — , UK — 28 Jan 2005 at 17:02:00
Hey CGP, I really love your books. They are fantastic for revision.
Nicola England — Ilminster, , UK — 28 Jan 2005 at 16:31:00
This website is great
Laura — , UK — 27 Jan 2005 at 21:13:00
I think they're very good because I have an English one.
Stacy Louise — , UK — 27 Jan 2005 at 19:23:00
Hi CGP! Please add more online revision! Your books are really helping at the moment. Do you do a music GCSE revision guide? Thanks for the help!
Charlotte Thomas — , UK — 27 Jan 2005 at 18:55:00
My teacher probably has every book you ever released! I love your books! They're so funny!
Linda Paterson — , UK — 27 Jan 2005 at 18:12:00
CGP books are the best and I would recommend them to whoever enjoys reading funny educational books! I promise that after reading my comment on these CGP books and buying a whole stack of CGP study, question and practice paper tests and books you won't regret it and you will read them more times as well as recommending them to other friends and family!
Belal Kulasy — , UK — 27 Jan 2005 at 18:06:00
I really like your books
Misvah — London, , UK — 27 Jan 2005 at 16:19:00
This site is good but it needs to widen it's range of subjects to revise for GCSEs
Vicky Traynar — Witham, Essex, , UK — 27 Jan 2005 at 12:15:00
I think your web site is great and can you send me the Shakespeare - Macbeth'
Carol Hogan — Stamford Hill, , UK — 27 Jan 2005 at 12:09:00
Hello CGP! I think that your books are cool even though I have only used a few of them. I am going to buy your KS3 Maths Levels 5-8 book because the Maths teacher we have at the moment kind of stinks. No-one in our class is learning anything at all so I am going to recommend you to my mates, so they don't end up getting bad SATs scores. Thank you!
Alex — Gorleston, , UK — 26 Jan 2005 at 22:29:00
This is a wicked website.
Alex — , UK — 26 Jan 2005 at 21:55:00
Your site is great!
Devante Suchit — London, , UK — 26 Jan 2005 at 21:03:00
I think it is good, but I wanted to order a catalogue, but didn't know how to do it. It is good though! Will come back in a few years when I do my GSCEs. I have got them for SATs though!
Charl — , UK — 26 Jan 2005 at 19:34:00
Hey, I think CGP books are great! They helped me through my SATs in year 9 and now hopefully for my GCSEs! Does anyone know how hard the Science modular tests are as I am not good at physics! Please let me know.
Lois Price — , UK — 26 Jan 2005 at 19:15:00
Fantastic books, great way of learning, but please can we have a geography book for ks3, I'm struggling with it, help!
Raelee Saunders — , UK — 26 Jan 2005 at 13:09:00
I really enjoy studying from your books and I think that it makes school work a lot more fun and easy to learn. Thank you.
Moazmah — , UK — 26 Jan 2005 at 13:05:00
I bought a higher and intermediate GCSE exam practice workbook only to get home and find no answers for them. I was not told I had to buy the answers separately by the WHSmith assistant and did not expect to have to do so as no other revision or exam practice book I have bought has come without the answers - I have only learned from your website that there is a separate answer book that I have to purchase... Don't you think you should make this clear to your customers?
Graham Diedrichs — , UK — 26 Jan 2005 at 10:12:00
Ok I know loads of people have said this but, A2! Why no science revision books?
Emma — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 22:09:00
Hello, I just wanted to say that I think CGP books are the best revision guides of them all. They have really helped me in my GCSEs and I'm sure they will in my A-levels. They are very funny in a cheesy way, simple and specific to exam specifications which makes it a lot easier when revising. I just wanted to know how you order the Edexcel AS practice exam papers for P1, P2, M1 and S1 book as it does not appear to be on the order form?
Becky — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 21:23:00
Great site! Your books are wicked too. Keep up the good work, you are doing an excellent job!
Corrine — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 19:33:00
Great fun, keep it up CGP!
Stephen Harris — Chudleigh Knighton, , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 19:17:00
I think the books are really good and so do my friends. So far I only have the maths and science books but I will get more soon. I am dreading my exams but the books put it simple and it is really easy to follow
Thomas — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 18:59:00
Bought a copy of the AS Maths Statistics 1 revision guide a few weeks ago, it really helped with my revision for the S1 exam that I did recently. Thanks CGP, once again you rule. Shame there's no A2 Maths and any Further Maths revision guides out. Anyway, thanks for helping with the S1 revision. Bring on S2!
Anonymous — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 18:39:00
Your books are great! I got levels 7 for Maths, 7 for Science and 6 for English thanks to your books, and 5A*s, 4As and B for GCSE, I love the AS books, it's a shame that I am going to have to say goodbye to CGP at A2.
Rustam Kierimbiekov — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 17:12:00
Hey, I've found this address really useful. I have most of your books and papers and revision stuff and I have achieved a lot since. Thank you so much CGP!
Anonymous — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 16:57:00
Do you have SATs practice papers?
Arti Jilka — Greenford, Middlesex, , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 16:13:00
I would like to say thank you to all the people at CGP books! If it wasn't for them I would not be getting excellent marks in my tests. Thank you very much!
Ymelia Steveson — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 14:15:00
To CGP, I was just wondering if you could send me one of your free catalogues, I can't find my account number or invoice number so if you could check what it is and then send one of them to.
Gareth Morris — Crossgar Northern Ireland , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 13:32:00
I think that your books are really good and they help me a lot, but you could do more revision stuff online because I can't find where to revise my geography. Also someone told us that you get the books cheaper online but only schools do, why's that? We are the pupils that are learning.
Rosie — , UK — 25 Jan 2005 at 11:46:00
CGP books are just the best. I've been using them for the past 4 years and I must say that they are they key to my academic success. Once you start reading you just can't put the book down. They are that interesting! Way to go!
Mina Wenike-Briggs — St Catherine's School, , UK — 24 Jan 2005 at 20:10:00
Please can I have a pack of home practice to Year 5's only due to maths, science and literacy. Thanks a lot!
Majeda Begum — Leyton, London, , UK — 24 Jan 2005 at 20:10:00
I think your site is great for young people.
Mikki — Drayton Shropshire, , UK — 24 Jan 2005 at 19:34:00
The books are good but why are they cheaper in schools. They should be given to us for free so we can revise for our SATs
Amy Ibbotson — , UK — 24 Jan 2005 at 19:25:00
CGP books make learning fun. I recommended it to everyone. It is good for revision and learning new things. CGP books helped me a lot.
Natasha — , UK — 24 Jan 2005 at 18:04:00
Your books are great. I've ordered 3 maths ones and I already have English and science at home. These are really helpful as I have my SATs coming up in May. Argh!
Lauren — Kent, , UK — 24 Jan 2005 at 17:22:00
I love your books they are so easy to read and absolutely enjoyable. Please write more and I must say you all are very helpful in all things you do. Thank you
Jessica Stone — , UK — 24 Jan 2005 at 16:39:00
Well I just took my maths (higher) mock paper and I know I got at least one question wrong because of your book. In the book it specifically said to learn the end result or the method for recurring decimals not to bother learning both so I learnt just the result and then in my exam it said I had to explain how I got that answer. Thanks a lot.
Sophie Ross — Epsom , Surrey, , UK — 23 Jan 2005 at 18:34:00
I like the books.
Becky — , UK — 23 Jan 2005 at 18:00:00
Your books are great. I am learning so much from them now even though my grandad paid so much for them when you can get them cheaper if you were a school, but I have passed all my exams and for science I got a A* for biology and human body bones now I can be a physiotherapist.
Shaunna |Howard — Kent, , UK — 23 Jan 2005 at 17:40:00
Your prices for normal people and not for schools are very over the top.
Shaunna Howard — Kent, , UK — 23 Jan 2005 at 17:32:00
I was wondering if you do a special art revision book, I have looked at your books section on the website but could not find one and I was just wondering. If you have any information for me, please can you post/email to me. Thanks very much.
Jess Sweetenham — Alresford, Hampshire, , UK — 23 Jan 2005 at 16:42:00
I think your books are really good, they're a bit more interesting than most textbooks! At the moment I am revising for my mock exams. I'm revising for science and I think it might be a good idea to get some online tests/games for the science subject. I had a go on the maths games and they seem really good, it'd be even better if there were some of them for the other subjects.
Cassie — , UK — 23 Jan 2005 at 15:52:00
Hiya. I want to know where you can get the answers for the higher mathematics work book, because what is the point in having a workbook without having answers even on the net. Please tell me thanks.
Nik — , UK — 23 Jan 2005 at 13:11:00
How do I order a catalogue?
Abi — , UK — 23 Jan 2005 at 12:08:00
CGP your books are great but please put all the answers in the back especially your workbooks so I can tell if I am doing it right! Thanks.
Amina Hersi — London, , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 23:47:00
Your books are amazing! Your AS level biology guide has helped me a lot in my recent exam. Any chance of an A2 biology and an AS and A2 level history book? They would be greatly appreciated or I will find my next year extremely hard!
Chelsea — , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 22:17:00
I think the books are really good, but I think the website should have a revision section, so we can revise online too, but all in all, they help you to learn and revise, so that's the main thing.
Paula Bennett — Alrewas, Burton-upon-Trent, , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 22:02:00
The site is very helpful to me because this September I am doing my SATs. Thank you for your help.
Ellen Arnold — , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 22:01:00
I have been looking for CGP revision books which provide information set by a specific board (eg. Edexcel, OCR, AQA) for the second year of A-levels but unfortunately haven't found any. I was wondering if you produce these books as it would be extremely helpful for me in my academic studies.
Bhakti Bhudia — Kingsbury, London, , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 20:50:00
Hi, your books have been of the greatest help. I now use your books in class and (imagine!) I don't need to be taught by the teachers any more... it's better than tuition! Thanks to you guys I decided to take chemistry and bio last week after not having done it for two years... wish me luck, my exams are in April (O-levels)! What I need to know is, do you have any revision books for the poems of section E in touched with fire for the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus 2005? And if you do not have any CGP books specifically for that, what book should i use? Thanks again.
Melissa — , Kenya — 22 Jan 2005 at 18:30:00
I must say that I am very proud of myself because I had a science exam result of 89% and I am so happy because that is the highest I have ever got.
Hattie — , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 17:14:00
I am rubbish at maths and science. But since I found out about your books I have improved hugely. Even the teachers say so!
Phoebe — , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 17:13:00
I think that these books are marvelous. Most teachers are giving them to pupils. Well done.
Hattie — , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 17:10:00

Zack Cocker — Wakefield, , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 12:13:00
CGP provide very cool books.
Edward — , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 10:02:00
The practice papers are very good, but it would have been nice to see more of a variety on the different subjects not just English, maths and science, More like ICT and music and stuff like that, But over all it was a very pleasurable experience.
Korell Holley — Stowmarket, Suffolk, , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 08:59:00
I love your books. They are comical and they converted my Cs and Ds into As and A*s. Thank you.
Adam Wilson — , UK — 22 Jan 2005 at 00:00:00
I read all of your books. I failed my maths GSCE before I bought any of your books. I retook my maths GCSE after reading the maths book and got an A*! When all my friends are out having fun I am indoors studying your fantastic selection of books because I find them highly addictive and enjoyable to read. Thank you very much CGP. Please continue your good efforts and hopefully you will create more like them.
Chris Putman — Chatham, , UK — 21 Jan 2005 at 23:54:00

I have all the KS3 books that you have written. I think that your books are great and that they really help with your studies. Thanks.
Jasmine Sandhu — , UK — 20 Jan 2005 at 21:36:00
Why aren't there books for welsh speakers? And books to help us to do better in the language. There are books for every other language, so why not welsh?
Ffion Rees — Wales, , UK — 20 Jan 2005 at 21:07:00
I need help as I have my GCSE tomorrow, and it isn't fair because I'm only in year 10!
Ayse Yildiz — , UK — 20 Jan 2005 at 18:27:00

Personally I think your CGP books are very good and make life so much more easier.
Melissa Patel — , UK — 19 Jan 2005 at 18:45:00
You need to make the contents page a bit more clear so viewers can actually see it.
Jaishree — , UK — 19 Jan 2005 at 17:54:00
I think your books are really cool. I have used them in school since I was in year three. The only thing I can't find is Compound Area can I have some help.
Sophie Davies — Wrexham, North Wales, , UK — 19 Jan 2005 at 16:57:00
Hey CGP! I have many of your books and have used them for both SATs and now GCSE - but why don't you have an Italian GCSE guide? I really need one! Please write one just for me, I can't find one anywhere! I've looked high and low, but with no success! Please help, I don't want to fail my GCSE's!
Christie — Northolt , Middlesex, , UK — 19 Jan 2005 at 16:37:00
Hi, I love CGP books, they helped me so much in the year 9 SATs, but now I'm in year 10 and I was hoping to learn Italian but unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an edition of this book. I've searched everywhere and all I seem to find is French, German and Spanish. Do you do an Italian revision guide, and if not, why?
Katie Gosling — , UK — 19 Jan 2005 at 16:36:00

Susanna — London, , UK — 17 Jan 2005 at 22:39:00
I do have to say, CGP, that your books are the best. Honestly they really help - and they're the only ones I've found so far that have an author with a sense of humour. Tell Richard Parsons he's a genius.

I found your revision book for Edexcel AS Biology very helpful whilst revising for my recent exam. However, I would like to inform you that this book did not cover anything about biological food tests, which were important for the exam. I hope that this comment is helpful to you and will look into including these in the future.
Philippa — , UK — 15 Jan 2005 at 17:52:00
Can you please help me, e-mail me back to answer. I am revising for my SATs and I can't get anything in my head. How should I revise? Can you also please help me if you have anything on French - music. I got an exam on it. The last thing I need is, my history. I'm in yr9 and need help on cause of the Industrial Evolution and why things needed to change. Who were the prosters etc. Thank you, hope you reply soon.

Please make a Latin CGP Book! I can't survive my GCSEs without CGP - without them I couldn't get As in my mocks!

Hannah — , UK — 15 Jan 2005 at 11:26:00
The books are amazing and very helpful and easy to use, but I was wondering if you do CCEA AS level revision books as I can only see others like OCR. Also if you do one for history AS level? Please, my exams are doomed!
Aine Mulholland — , UK — 15 Jan 2005 at 10:46:00

Could you please make a GCSE Drama revision guide by next year! You would make a killing... There are none on the market open to 14-16 yr olds... and I need one quick!

Jonathan Temple — Cheltenham, Glos, , UK — 12 Jan 2005 at 20:15:00
It's a good a website. It says that you have revision section with games to help you learn, but I could not find it. I think you should lower your prices - schools prices are low but there is a big increase for retail, an extra £2.50 worth. I know it's not your fault and you have a right to have a higher price for retail, but not that much... yours sincerely.
Anonymous — , UK — 12 Jan 2005 at 19:31:00
I'm finding it really hard to revise and this site and the book from school are really helping me with my mock SATs.
Jemma — , UK — 12 Jan 2005 at 19:16:00

The CGP revision guides are the best around. When our exercise books just aren't enough, these CGP books take pride of place on our desks. Although we do try to avoid most of the jokes, a few still slip through the net. Keep it up.
Gerard — Great Ayton, Middlesbrough, , UK — 12 Jan 2005 at 10:32:00
Could you please send me your booklets..
Mrs. Ajanthan — Mitcham, , UK — 11 Jan 2005 at 23:18:00
Your business studies A level book is just what I needed, because my teacher cannot teach a thing. I try to have a positive outlook on the lesson but she never brightens up, so your book's the lifesaver, thanks a million.
Stephanie — , UK — 11 Jan 2005 at 19:47:00
I think the GCSE revision guides are really helpful.

They are good books.
Phil Bertelsen — Belper, Derby, , UK — 11 Jan 2005 at 14:05:00
I have only just started using these because I want to be a crime scene investigator when I am older. I am taking Science as one of my options so I am looking at all the Science revision guides so they will help me for my SATs hopefully. So if you are looking to buy one, I will recommend these because they are extremely cool and help you a lot. Also sometimes your teachers will use them, that is how good you are. They have helped me a lot to get what I have been wanting to get As and A*s it has helped me and is still helping me.
Lolly — , UK — 11 Jan 2005 at 13:03:00
Where are all the games and papers you can practice on, because I want to be a CSI when I am older
Lollita — , UK — 11 Jan 2005 at 12:57:00
It's good and it helps me learn more.
Tanya Jacklin — Belchford, , UK — 11 Jan 2005 at 12:07:00
I've always used CGP, for years now. It's true that the other revision books just don't do the job, they seem to be lacking. They're easy to read and get the information across.
Heather — , UK — 11 Jan 2005 at 11:18:00
I love CGP books! They've got me through all my exams!

Rebecca Hough — , UK — 10 Jan 2005 at 19:06:00
Hey CGP just letting you know that your books are great. However I was wondering if you are going to make a GCSE Economics Revision Guide. I understand that not many people do GCSE Economics but it would really be useful if you did. Thanks.

This has really helped me, thanks.

Jenny Whiteman — , UK — 10 Jan 2005 at 17:29:00
Hello, I have been using your books for ages, but I went onto the online revision A Level page and saw that you only had maths... what happens to the ones that need your help and don't do maths? Thanks for listening.

Won't anyone do an Irish revision book? Your books are the only thing I survive on during exams, which is probably why I'm failing Irish! Maybe a drama revision book too?
Melissa — Downpatrick, , County Down — 09 Jan 2005 at 19:35:00
I want a level five please, help me learn everything and be clever
Zainab — , UK — 09 Jan 2005 at 19:35:00

This site is extremely helpful to me and enhanced my education.
Stefan Humes — Plumstead London, , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 23:36:00
I think the CGP books are really good but sometimes they don't explain things like in the maths book. It only has two pages on some subjects like decimals and I don't think it is giving me a full understanding on decimals. Anyways I am having my SATs this year and I'm scared I'm going to fail so wish me luck.
Nunya Gemegah — Dollis hill London, , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 23:36:00
Thank you CGP because you are helping me try and get a level 5 in my SATs.
Samantha — Nantwich, , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 19:35:00
I think that the CGP books are fantastic! I am in year 9 and just bought them to help me through my SATs. My primary school also provided us with them in years 5 and 6 and I found them very useful. For anyone who is in year 9 or who's daughters or sons are in year 9 - I would strongly recommend the 'Key Stage Three Shakespeare Macbeth' revision guide. I did not understand a word of it when the books were given to me at school but this revision guide has helped me so much! Thanks CGP and keep up
Lisa Morren — , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 18:25:00
I really find your books helpful and useful, thanks!
Janesh Jani — Croydon, , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 17:59:00
Your site is very good but, the one thing you missed was to revise for German! you don't help me with my German exam, there is not even a book on it! Please sort that out please, thank you!
Natasha Connor — , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 16:36:00
How do I get a free catalogue on this website?
Andy Winterbottom — Oakes Huddersfield, , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 15:35:00
Hello, we think your site is quite good. When we go on our holiday on a barge in Rugby we have decided to take our quality revision books made by your establishment. We will be looking forward to our revision as your books are so colourfully decorated and humourous (rather like our rooms!) The subjects are so easy to understand my dog has just got his first doctorate in science at his college thanks to your excellent books!

Aaron Marchant — St. Georges Fields, london, , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 13:25:00
The website is great, its good to find some AS revision at last and A2 for that matter. More A2 books needed.
Jo — Hemel Hempstead, , UK — 08 Jan 2005 at 11:37:00
I really like your CGP books. I think it helps more children to learn maths, English, science and the rest of them. I want a bit of AS levels home work too, so I can learn more. I think you are a really great company and the work that you put in your books is really fun.
R Keah — Hulme, , UK — 07 Jan 2005 at 21:42:00
Please, CGP bring out GCSE Latin revision and workbooks soon. I want to do well in my Latin exam, although I'm only in Yr.10. I think you could do it really well and it would really help me. Please!
Phil — , UK — 07 Jan 2005 at 19:30:00
CGP is awesome. The books are great and even funny! But, especially at GCSE, they need books in all subjects that are written against all the exam boards, AQA, OCR and Edexcel, and different ones for the different syllabuses/courses. (Like the recent specialised geography books - I will get the OCR specification B one for the course I am doing at school). I intend to get the maths, science and geography specialized books for my GCSEs. As I said I think CGP should do this for all of the GCSE revision and workbooks. CGP rock!
Phil — , UK — 07 Jan 2005 at 19:23:00
I was looking through the site because I wanted to know how the books were because I need to buy some for my SATs that are coming up. Can you please help me by telling me which book will help me better in maths, science and English. Please get back to me. Thanks.
Aarti — , UK — 07 Jan 2005 at 16:53:00

Great books, but you need some A2 ones though! Where are they ?
James — , UK — 06 Jan 2005 at 16:24:00
Very helpful to know I can log onto the CGP site and see what is available. Thanks.
Christine Caldarelli — Emmanuel Christian School, , UK — 06 Jan 2005 at 13:10:00
I would just like to know why there is only practice questions on maths for AS.
Katie Burden — , UK — 06 Jan 2005 at 12:45:00
I think you should have a Sociology AS level book. Very helpful.
Brianna Barnes — Luton , UK — 06 Jan 2005 at 11:28:00
Just like to say that these books have supported me since year 9, and I have consistently done well, getting always A*/A/B. I'm now in A-level, and thanks for the help with AS guys... but I am a bit worried due to the lack of A2 revision guides!
Hemal — , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 21:56:00
There should be more sets of exam practice papers with the same type of stuff but different questions. So if I've done a practice test - revised what I've got wrong then I should be able to do one again with different questions but the same stuff to double check I have it correct.
Usman — Bradford, Queensbury, , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 20:24:00
Hi. The duck builder game is really cool so thanks for that! Also, I was wondering what the difference is between the red maths pratice papers and the other one? Thank you for your great books and this site. They're both really helpful.
Natalie — , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 19:47:00
and a Single Award in Business Studies. Well, as you can guess, I am going to use CGP revision books again to help me in my course. I have just bought the AS-Level Business Studies Revision Guide and I am going to buy your new Applied ICT guide - which I believe will be invaluable to my revision. I have recommended CGP revision guides to all my relatives and friends and I strongly urge you to keep up the great work in producing more brilliant books! Thank you again.
Matthew Bewers — Omagh, , Co. Tyrone — 05 Jan 2005 at 19:47:00
I think your revision site is great but you need to collect some games for English and Science. I have all of your books so it wasted my time slightly for revision. The games on the maths site though helped boost my grade from L6- to a L7. Thank you CGP books.
Emily Green — Maidenhead,, Berkshire, , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 17:15:00
Thank you for your comprehensive cover. As an ex-headteacher and now working with children with very special needs, far removed from mainstream education, I [will] find your books very useful as I start to build up my collection of them to make a comprehensive coverage of the curriculum. (At present KS3 children with KS2/3 abilities in single unit establishments.)
Peter R. J. Lymer — Llanidloes, , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 16:54:00
I don't think there is enough revision available for AS students as on here there is only revision exercises for maths!
Helen — , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 16:52:00
These books are very good thank you.
Rachael nicholls — Prestatyn Denbigshire, , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 13:17:00

Andrew Walker — Arnside, Cumbira, , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 10:36:00
I would like to congratulate you on your brilliant website and books.
Andrew Walker — , UK — 05 Jan 2005 at 10:25:00
Please make some exam practice questions for physics, as I have an exam soon. Thank you.
Jeni — , UK — 04 Jan 2005 at 21:11:00
I am 19 years old and studying for exams. Whilst doing revision on your website and finding it very useful indeed, answers are not given to any part of the questions, and books that you sell on your website I can't have any answers to see if I am correct and where my mistakes may be. I can't see why you can't supply any answers to questions, as other revision websites do, but I find your website the most useful. Thank you.
Eleanor Twilley — Weston-Super-Mare, , UK — 04 Jan 2005 at 19:25:00
Are there plans to bring out KS2/3 Spanish workbooks?
C MacGregor — , UK — 04 Jan 2005 at 14:45:00
Your books are really helpful for revision, all the other books are wordy and difficult to understand whereas yours are much simpler. Cheers!
Rachael Pawley — Leeds, , UK — 04 Jan 2005 at 07:33:00
I think your books are great, just a few small problems. I would really appreciate an AS history revision book, like the complete ones for GCSE. I was also wondering, if you could have more As subjects revision on your website. Other then that, CGP are great. They have great textbooks, an informative website and are unparalleled in their quality, thanks.
Rizzy — Preston , UK — 04 Jan 2005 at 02:08:00
I found these books really good at GCSE and didn't mind the jokes (even if some of them were terrible!). But now I am studying AS - Level and when I am revising for Maths and suddenly find a whole page on cows in the book which has no relevance at all, it's really annoying especially as I have paid for that page to be printed. CGP jokes are fine when studying for GCSE's but please take AS-Level revision guides a bit more serious please. Thanks.
James — , UK — 03 Jan 2005 at 17:44:00
The key stage three mathematics books levels 3-6 really don't help me... what's a linear graph?
Amy — , UK — 03 Jan 2005 at 15:52:00
Hi, I am currently studying for my GCSE exam in May/June. I am finding some of the subjects quite difficult and I have recently bought a few of your revision books. I do think they are very good but when you are not buying them inside school, as most people cannot and I wasn't able to, I feel that they are quite expensive. I would be very grateful if you would take this into consideration. At school I also study Additional Mathematics and I was wondering if you have a revision book available to help me revise for this subject. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I would appreciate very much if you would take the time to reply to my comment. Thank you once again.
Pamela Ross — , UK — 03 Jan 2005 at 15:33:00
Hi I've posted here a few times before, and I am just wondering if any A2-level books are coming out. The AS books I have at the moment are really helping me but next year it's going to be extra hard since I do not have these revision guides. Thank you
Peter Visser — Ramsgate, Kent, , UK — 03 Jan 2005 at 11:59:00
Excellent mathematics AS level revision guide for stats and pure2. I recently changed into core maths and will be doing core3 and core4 soon. Is there any chance you will make core3 and core 4 books too? I am certain my maths teacher would order lots of them off you if you were going to make some because we hate using other revision guides they are so boring! Also I would like to make a suggestion that you start making university degree maths books, as they would be a huge market there as not very maths guides are student friendly like yours are, thanks!
Zarar Mohammed — , UK — 03 Jan 2005 at 03:25:00

I'm a Canadian teacher who will begin teaching GCSE music students in Herefordshire in January 2005 (3 days from now). I have just spent the past 4 days trying to make sense of the GCSE Music OCR Specification Areas of Study booklet (ISBN 184146788X), and have found many areas of confusion and contradiction when your guide is used in conjunction with the OCR specification summary. For example: on page 1 of your guide, you state "you compose a new piece using ideas from all 3 pieces". The OCR summary (Nov.2002) states "candidates are not expected to draw on features of all 3 pieces in their composition". Which is it? On page 6 of your guide book, you have written "like the Brief for Composition 1, you can hand your Appraisal in as a recording if you prefer that to writing it down". However, there is no mention of the recorded Brief option on page 4 entitled "Composition -The Brief ". Why not? Surely it would make more sense to mention this fact on the page dedicated to the Compositional Brief (page 4) rather than add it as an afterthought on the page 6. Your Revision Summary on page 30 (questions 17a and 17b) asks for explanations of the terms (melodic) augmentation and diminution, but there appear to be no answers to these questions in the section on AoS2 (pages 14 - 29). The Glossary is equally scant in this regard. It could be a comprehensive summary of the musical terms students are required to know, but it's a time waster as the answers are neither in the proper section or in the Glossary and Index (pages 48-52): flip forward, flip back, where's the answer? Oh. We haven't covered it. Well, best of luck on your exams kids. I fail to see how students can answer questions on material that has not been covered. Your guide lacks logical organization, and I find myself flipping backwards and forwards to fully comprehend what the students need to know for their exams and for their coursework. There are so many other areas of ambiguity in your publication that I could go over, but I cannot devote any more time to it. I have Music GCSE classes to teach on Tuesday and I have re-written your book in my own words so that I can understand it before I teach it to my students. One more thing: why is the book interspersed with comments that may discourage a student's developing interest in Music? Page 23: "You don't have to like Schoenberg's style of music (I don't)... But Schoenberg's the one to blame... oops, um... er... slip of the tongue... I mean praise..." You get the point. How is this helpful to a teacher OR a pupil? Thanks for your attention.
Arch Jones — Ledbury, Herefordshire,, UK — 01 Jan 2005 at 20:03:00
