I think CGP books can help you revise so I think you should buy one for yourself!

Narzuma Sultana — London, United Kingdom — 30 Mar 2006 at 13:02:46

Most of your books are great but some of them don't give a lot of detail for SATs.

Gaurav Arora — Riyadh, Saudia Arabia — 30 Mar 2006 at 10:29:02

I'm going to take my Year Nine SATs in 3 weeks and I'm panicking. This website has been a great help! I am less scared and my revision books have been a great help!

Daniel — Kowloon, Hong Kong — 30 Mar 2006 at 07:36:14

I have used CGP books in school for the last few years with great success, and have now chosen to use them for my Home Tuition students. I just love the style, and the study books help me to keep one step ahead of my students! My students have medical reasons for not attending school so they need a fun approach to learning and simple explanations. Thank you for all you do for them and me.

Bernadette Hull — Romford, United Kingdom — 29 Mar 2006 at 22:36:56

It's really cool - try the maths books, they're brill! Don't delay, buy today!

Amber — charlton, United Kingdom — 29 Mar 2006 at 17:40:05

Preferred the previous site for ordering - I nearly gave up! Would have liked a continuous list of books rather than jumping from page to page, and backwards and forwards.

Mrs S Martin — Carterton, United Kingdom — 29 Mar 2006 at 17:10:51

I really, really love these books!!!!! I'm in year 9 and my SATS are coming up and I need loads of help - these books do just the trick!!!!!

This is the best site I have been on in ages - super!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amin Elhassan — Halifax, United Kingdom — 29 Mar 2006 at 08:27:54

Great books - rather than boring you to death, the stupid jokes make light work of trudging through revision.

Ashleigh Wheeler — Sittingbourne, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2006 at 22:22:07

Surely, the price is a bit much. Why can't everyone have a school price? What about us who home tutor?

Catelin — Epsom, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2006 at 20:17:24

Great! Will you do SATs please?!

Hannah — Manchester, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2006 at 20:16:27

Really good site!

Mehreen Khan — High Wycombe, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2006 at 14:37:25

Books are brilliant. It would be very helpful if there were more books for A level!

Usman Chatta — High Wycombe, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2006 at 14:09:22

These books are great, but lose the jokes - it would make it more easy to read without having to concentrate on a turtle balancing on a ball! If I bought the book, why would I want to flush it?

Joe — Golders Green, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2006 at 14:06:27

An excellent on-line facility, easy to use and very impressive.

Visva Mahen — Harrow, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2006 at 13:46:24

This book is a worthless piece of junk unless you want a grade lower than a D. I recommend the publishers to lose their lame jokes and anyone who buys this book to throw it in the toilet and flush.

DMX — , United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2006 at 12:01:01

Your books for key stage 2 are a great help and are set out in a child-friendly way. I love them!

Elliott — Lowdham, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2006 at 21:42:17

I love your books (I'm in year 6) . . . not long until my SATs! Do you have any tips on memorising subjects and facts? This'll help a lot. Thanks!

Sammy — Barnet, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2006 at 21:05:13

I did wish to purchase other items but I was unable to because your 'what's new' range was working!

Nicky Mayo — Towcester, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2006 at 21:01:35

I have been using your books for years now and they are unusually fun but informative and they helped me get superb grades. Can you please do more books at A/AS level eg. History, RE?

I think that the CGP website is a good way to help you on your work.

I am looking for a single award foundation Science practice paper but can't seem to find them - could someone help me find them?!

Lauren — Chigwell, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2006 at 16:17:09

Christine Milton — Mitcham, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2006 at 11:28:15

I think the CGP books don't go into enough detail. I use mine because I am home-taught and I have to keep looking on the internet to find out more information.

Emily-Jane — Guildford, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2006 at 10:57:41

Hi, I just wanted to say your little comments around the books are jokes, especially the one near the bar code!

I've got some of your books and they are good! Please could you e-mail me information on how to recieve a product catalogue.

Sam — Basingstoke, United Kingdom — 26 Mar 2006 at 20:01:20

Luke — Milton Keynes, United Kingdom — 26 Mar 2006 at 17:13:27

Dear All, it´s confusing that the list of books jumps back after adding a book to the shopping cart. The shipping costs are very high, about 1/3rd for my order from today. Best regards.

Books are great. We ordered just one last time but it could have done with being in a sturdier envelope - as it arrived in a bad state. Maybe you could add a piece of cardboard inside or print ¨do not bend¨on the front?

Yo! Your books are rubbish. They're hard to understand because all the facts you need are written in tiny wee writing. The Business Studies books are utter rubbish, not impressed!

Ben Smith — ebo-, United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2006 at 19:40:29

I think you should put games on it and what marks I need for what levels especially spelling. You should make a book to help you with your homework! Your books work miracles - thanks loads.

Brill website! Maybe you could put more tests on it so we can have a taster of what the quiz is like!

Loz — Shropshire, United Kingdom — 21 Mar 2006 at 18:27:58

I agree with Jess. You should put a serial number on the books so when you buy them, you can log in and use pages from the book but online. eg labelling diagrams, etc . . .

I think your books are really useful but in this website, you only have GCSE revision timetable. Couldn't you make one for people doing SATs for over their half term period?

Daisy — , United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2006 at 17:05:56

The actual books are excellent but we wish you had a wider A2 level range - those who are doing AS will also need them the following year!

Karen Graystone — Northampton, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2006 at 16:38:39

Why haven't you done an A2 level maths revision guide?

Jonny — , United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2006 at 16:09:28

Branavan Ananasundaram — Sutton, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2006 at 12:10:52

For all you people I hear complaining about the jokes in these books (which me and my friends love), why not just buy the new CGP books (Complete Revision and Practice) which are a little dearer but they contain more information, more practice, exams at the back and no jokes at all!? They are very good - French one even has a CD to help you, so stop companing about them! That's why schools even buy loads of them in becasue teachers prefer them as well. There are other books that are seriously rubbish. People, get a grip . . . CGP books are the best!

Meg — Somerton, United Kingdom — 17 Mar 2006 at 21:36:09

I like CGP books, but they are very expensive and there are too many books to choose from. They end up costing me and arm and a leg. If you could have a book with practise papers, revision books, workbooks, exam tips and others all together for at least £20. I might consider buying them for all my subjects. But thank you for the help that you have already given me in my past. Thank you very much. I'll wait for a reply.

Shamz — London, United Kingdom — 17 Mar 2006 at 20:22:28

I have got the CGP books but I don't understand them. I have got the Science and maths books and I do a bit but do you read the practise questions and how much do you have to look at the book for? From Year 6.

Robyn — London, United Kingdom — 17 Mar 2006 at 10:52:26

I find the CGP Book website incredibly useless. The only main thing you can do is either add a comment or buy a book. On the back of the books, it says you can get a catalogue of all the books on the website but I cannot find anywhere on the website where I can get one! In general, the books are alright but on some (particularly year 6 study books) the illustrations are deliberately big so that it takes up a whole page. In my opinion, there should be a larger variety of English, maths and science books for key stage two.

I love your books. I use them when I teach and find that the key important material is highlighted to make it easier for the students to know what to focus on. I can see that a lot of thought has gone into selecting and presenting the material. That comes across clearly. Keep up your high standards.

We think your books are absolutely the best. My younger daughter needs to practise retrieving material to answer questions, so the work books are ideal for her. The older one takes more readily to learning theory and applying it to questions, so the Complete Revision and Practice are better for her. More past papers would be good. We tend to get through more than three in the run up to exams.

Hi I wanted to let you know how desperate I am to get a CGP AS and A level German (AQA) revision guide. If this is possible, can you tell me when this will be published because I want to be the first to get it (and so do my friends). I would also like to know why there is a very little A level book section on this website . I honestly think you should include more A Level subjects in order for your business to expand further. I also liked your AS physics revision guide but I would also like to know who wrote the joke about hadron and meson having a strong interaction and how that is supposed to be funny because I don't get the joke.
Anyway I hope you will read this message and contact me ASAP. Thank you, your books are great and don't feel bad about those silly people writing insulting messages to you. The fact is they have no sense of humour. Thank you.

The books are fantastic.

Juni — Derby, United Kingdom — 12 Mar 2006 at 10:19:42

I like the books and the Key Stage 2 Science books really help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kerry Hill — Wellingborough, United Kingdom — 12 Mar 2006 at 08:50:44

Hello, I am in desperate need of a revision guide for Arabic GCSE as I'm taking it this year and I'm not so good at it :-( I've only got about 2 or 3 months left but a CGP revision guide would help enormously!!

Amirah — London, United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2006 at 22:30:17

I really think your books are a great way for us to revise because they're soooo fun to read and you don't get bored after reading them over and over again! Thanks so much for making these books!!

Alisha — Harrow, United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2006 at 19:37:52

This is great but it is quite hard to go onto different links.

Marzipan — Welling, United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2006 at 18:41:39

Seriously, I think your books are the lamest thiing on this planet, filled with junky jokes that just make you want to tear up the book and throw it away. Information is very vague and not useful at all. I wouldn't like to thank you for your books - they were a waste of money.

Antonios Gria — Jabriya, Kuwait — 11 Mar 2006 at 18:31:25

I think your books are very helpfull and I now think I am confident to do well in my SATS. Also I have learnt a lot from your books and I hope I can get more of them.

Matthew Barnett — London, United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2006 at 17:57:56

I like your books. Few days ago, I bought some of your books. I love them!!!

Agnes — , United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2006 at 17:29:20

I love the books, and they have helped me a lot with my science modular exams. I really want the free catalogue but I can't find where to order it - help!!

A fantastic book! However, is there a way to tell which questions are allowed to be done with a calculator?

David Bowman — London, United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2006 at 17:20:14

Why do you not sell revision guides for AS level English, History, Languages or Philosophy? I would like to know if you intend to sell these as I'm sure many people would also like to know why you don't sell them.

I had a exam and knew nothing about it. As I talk to much, I bought these books and revised before I went to bed and passed my exam with 79%! I was really pleased!

Nicola — Manchester, United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2006 at 16:37:04

You lot are hard workers and jokers. You guys are the best.

Rakhee Haria — Haringay, United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2006 at 11:14:11

A friend showed me your study books today and I was so pleased because I have been looking for something that I can use to help my children enjoy learning. I studied illustration and graphics and appreciate the clear way information is presented and explained in plain English. Really like the funny touches too!
We have not had a clue what stages my boys are/should be at in school but have been desperate to help them as much as I can. They are both the youngest in their years. I have one lucky all rounder and one who is flagging way behind his peers due to a mix of group bullying (which has gone on for over three years and led to him expressing suicidal thoughts at the age of 5) and Semantic Pragmatic Disorder. I suspect he is a visual learner and looking at the layout of the study guides I hope they will make it a lot easier for me to explain concepts to both boys. I've given up one of my part time jobs and will be using your publications to try and boost their learning as much as possible at home in a way they find enjoyable and that gives them confidence. Please excuse me I didn't mean to bore you with my life story!!! Just really wanted to say thank you for the excellent resources! Best wishes

Mary Scott — Saffron Walden, United Kingdom — 10 Mar 2006 at 23:57:42

I love the books. I use them in science lessons a lot. Im doing my SATs soon and these books will surely help me! Thanks

Charlotte — Leigh, United Kingdom — 10 Mar 2006 at 20:55:35

I am 15 and go to a secret school. I do not find the humour in the books funny. Please stop this as that would make my dad happy. In fact, it would make him jump for joy.
All my love and hate.

Stuart — , United Kingdom — 10 Mar 2006 at 10:11:06

I love your books. I read them just for fun some times - it's like I'm addicted to learning!

Daniel Phelps — Port Talbot, United Kingdom — 10 Mar 2006 at 09:29:49

Your books are absolutely great. I now stand a chance to get 8,7 and 7 in my SATs!

Shani Bhartiya — Mill Hill, United Kingdom — 09 Mar 2006 at 20:41:36

I always find CGP books the best to revise from because they are colourful and stuff. They also have funny little comments in them. If you look at the barcode on the back, there is always somthing weird about it, like 'This book is made from concentrated orange' or 'liable to flooding'!!

Becki — Wigan, United Kingdom — 09 Mar 2006 at 19:49:12

Argh, how the heck do I order a catalogue off the website? Help!

Taz — Home, United Kingdom — 09 Mar 2006 at 17:05:49

Hi, at my school we sometime use your books for revision and they are brilliant. They cover what we need to know and have a great sense of humour. Thank you.

Skye — thames ditton, United Kingdom — 09 Mar 2006 at 16:55:02

I have read every page of your book incredibly thoroughly, and am unimpressed at the amount of slang used in the supposedly 'educational' textbooks that you are providing for young children such as myself.

Meg Shepard — Burnham, United Kingdom — 09 Mar 2006 at 16:46:49

I think your books are brilliant and really easy to read - I am trying to gain level 7 in my year 9 SATs and your books have been great so far. Thanks!

Ashleigh — , United Kingdom — 09 Mar 2006 at 16:31:36

Hi, I really like this website. It's the first time I've used but it would be a lot helpful if you had more games for kids to play and learn at the same time. Thanks!

Nilam — Wellingborough, United Kingdom — 09 Mar 2006 at 16:04:06

As a tutor of Numeracy and Literacy, I find that other text books are not 'user friendly'. I have used your books for several years now and achieved some very good results. I always recommend them to my pupils.

I used this book for Biology for my GCSE mock exams. My marks increased from class by 40 percent! I found the books layout very easy to understand and I think the practise exam style questions helped me understand the topic fully. Thanks.

Alison Smyth — Moira, United Kingdom — 09 Mar 2006 at 10:25:24

Website should have the answers on - it's silly.

Someone — Liverpool, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 22:33:18

I think it is great how you now do specific revision books for all the different exam boards. I had the AS Biology and Chemistry revision books for all exam boards and found it hard work going through and finding what I really needed to know for my exam board. I have now bought the AQA B Biology revision book which is great and know exactly what I have to learn!!! Thanks!

Becca — Sutton Surrey, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 21:19:08

Very good service - they helped me get 5,5 and 5 in my SATs! This is the best book website ever!!!! Bling, bling!

Sam Pender — Rhyl, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 20:39:49

Thanks for such an easy to use and helpful website!

Rosemary Barker — Durham, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 20:39:16

I feel that these books are very good, but not well made. On all of the books I've brought for my daughter, the covers came off. Otherwise, the books are fab.

Amie Hutchins — Hatch End, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 20:34:02

I think your book are great and really helpful!

Very good archives - I could find everything I needed to - excellent!

Sam Pender — London, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 17:27:56

Where do you find how long we're allowed?

Corrin — Bedford, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 16:41:18

Very good service, my books arrived very promptly. The website is great - very straight forward and easy to order from. Thanks for making my purchase, hassle-free.

Mrs Jackie Hazeltine — Dorking, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 13:10:54

I like your cheesy stories on the back of your book. Cheers - you give me somehing to look and laugh at in lessons.

Dan Bell — Isle of Wight, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 12:00:44

I personally think the jokes are not funny however they do take your mind off things and cheer you up when you are stressed. I think CGP should open up a site containing past papers - this will help students who are sitting their GCSEs.

Syd — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 08 Mar 2006 at 10:28:30

Please I want to see every new book for foundation.

A truly excellent book!!! Great revison and easy to learn step by step details.

Phil — Telford, United Kingdom — 07 Mar 2006 at 23:07:12

Honestly, other books leave out so many details. You guys include the details as well as the basics. Umm, what does CGP stand for?

Zainub Khan — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 07 Mar 2006 at 22:13:41

They're well good and help a lot! 5 stars!

becky — UK, United Kingdom — 06 Mar 2006 at 22:19:04

My son has been doing SATs practice at his school and he has got 40/40 three times and once 39/40. The school want him to do level 6 as it will challenge him. Do you have level 6 practice? He has got top marks in all 3 subjects!

Christine — Ryhill, United Kingdom — 06 Mar 2006 at 21:53:55

I hate this website.

Alisha Khan — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 06 Mar 2006 at 20:53:48

Michael — Bangkok, Thailand — 06 Mar 2006 at 11:00:31

I think that the CGP books are really interesting and they're helping a lot with my SATs. I like them very much and they help me with my studies. They can increase your SATs level by one or two and GCSE grades will be higher. I love these books.

Kiki — Essex, United Kingdom — 05 Mar 2006 at 20:11:06

I use these books at school — they are funny.

Niamh — Bury, United Kingdom — 05 Mar 2006 at 12:58:19

I think your books are excellent, but this site could be better if you could do online revising! (I've forgotten my books and have a Mod Test in a couple of days!) Get one up soon!

Ruth Simmons — Cambridge, United Kingdom — 05 Mar 2006 at 12:39:29

Why isn't there an online website to revise from? It would be really good!

Izzie — Lincoln, United Kingdom — 05 Mar 2006 at 12:24:05

brogan — NEWCASTLE, United Kingdom — 04 Mar 2006 at 20:09:22

I really love your books — they are the best books ever and really really helped. Thanks so much.

Jennifer — Manchester, United Kingdom — 04 Mar 2006 at 17:04:57

The books are great but we need answers. It's brilliant if you practise doing math sums but how do you know you are getting them right? WE NEED ANSWERS!

Julia Bond — Wirral, United Kingdom — 04 Mar 2006 at 16:10:02

Hi! These books are fantastic but I hope you will release a GCSE Latin Revision Guide as it would be very useful.

Ben Cillingham — Brighton, United Kingdom — 04 Mar 2006 at 15:28:18

Your books are totally rubbish! They are terrible and not funny.

Abd-El-Majid Leklook — Tripoli, Libya — 04 Mar 2006 at 14:27:53

I think you should have Latin books because it is a main part of GCSE at my school.

Rozzi — Oundle, United Kingdom — 04 Mar 2006 at 09:48:28

Thank you so much, all your Year 9 SATS books meant I got a level 7 in English, 7 in Science and a level 8 in Maths. I couldn't have done it without you!!!
