Hi. I have the ks3 science and maths revision guides, but I always find they look really daunting because the pages are too full.

Your books are excellent and were a great help at GCSE. Any chance you will expand the number of subjects covered at AS level, e.g. Politics, Media Studies?
Maureen Whyatt — Gerrards Cross, United Kingdom — 30 Mar 2007 at 14:28:08
Very easy to use web site - well done. I hope the books live up to the online element of your web site!
Jo Maytum — Hertford , United Kingdom — 29 Mar 2007 at 21:20:40
I am so pleased with your fast efficient service. I coach maths and am always recommending your books and practice papers - I think they are the best on the market. When I phone up I always get through quickly and your customer service is excellent.

Angela Hicks — herts, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2007 at 16:32:14
Our children's school suggested these books. The website is very user friendly, I look forward to receiving my order shortly.
Mrs D Masters — Leicester, United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2007 at 16:11:57
I have been using your books for several years now for key stage 2. In my opinion they are the one of the best revision guides published as they are comprehensive but entertaining too.
Natalie Anderson — Banstead , United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2007 at 14:33:50
Please, please, please do a Latin revision guide!!! It'd REALLY help- although i''m not sure that you could get it to us year 11s in time :( Could you do some resources or revision still though?!?!?! Your books are REALLY useful by the way!
jack — dover, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2007 at 19:56:46
I am amazed I can't find a Latin revision guide anywhere. As a regular GCSE subject my daughter feels at a disadvantage as all her friends have revision guides for French and Spanish. I realise you can't do every language, but Latin is fairly standard surely?
Joy Emmanuel — Liverpool, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2007 at 19:48:01
CGP Booooooks are awesome

a very easy site to use, just ordered two books which will be the first of many over the next few years. Hope they arrive very soon
Angela Hicks — herts , United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2007 at 17:00:44
CGP books were shown to me by a teacher as his favourite, in relation to my son being ''Educated Other''. We are now using them, and find them far better and more explanatory than anything else on the market. Thank you.
A. Reid — Bognor Regis , United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2007 at 13:59:56
The kids find your books very easy to follow. I'm also astounded at the delivery speed. I ordered at 1.30pm and the the postman delivered my order the next morning! Thanks, I would recommend your service and products without hesitation.
johnhope — nottingham, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2007 at 12:01:52
CGP i am confused ...... i left a comment earlier saying how much i like your books and how they are helping me and the site called me an unpleasent child and said i was swearing in it, i wasnt though. can you tell me what happened?
Thank you for your message, and for persisting after being called an "unpleasant child"! I'm terribly sorry — we do unfortunately have people writing nonsense messages from time to time, and sometimes people decide to be offensive. To spare me reading the not-very-nice words, we have a filter on the site so that it automatically gives you a warning message when any word from our "banned words" list is typed. I don't know how this message has been triggered unless you accidentally mistyped a word — but I can assure you that we will look into it.
In the meantime, thank you once again for sharing your kind commments, and also for drawing our attention to the problem with the warning message. It was very good of you to persevere!

I think you are great! Could add a few more games though!
Loz — Tyldesley, United Kingdom — 24 Mar 2007 at 16:21:20
Your books are amazing, but how come your interactive part of your website is not very good - try and do a site like other revision publishers or maybe branch out stores where you sell your books.
Duyvesteyn — -, United Kingdom — 24 Mar 2007 at 15:52:51
I think your revision books are great, but the prices really are too high. I'd love to buy perhaps 2 or 3 to help me with my GCSEs, but that is practically impossible with the prices being about £4.50. Perhaps consider changing them to around £3? Thank you
Laura — Ipswich, United Kingdom — 24 Mar 2007 at 10:46:11

kimberly — nottingham, United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2007 at 21:04:20
CGP books are inarguably the finest revision guides, but where''s A2 Geography?!
Harry — , United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2007 at 20:44:49
Add a few games. And a bit more resources!
Daniel — Beech , United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2007 at 18:34:14
I think all those people who think these books are rubbish should really read them and stop being rude. these books help you so much and are not over priced - my mum bought me a revision book that cost £15 and it was rubbish but these are a third of the price and have everything you need to know written in a fun way that helps you learn. So to all those people who don''t like these books they should get over themselves and read them.
Emma — Kent, United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2007 at 18:29:35
I really love using these books and help me so much. Thanks to the KS3 Maths revision book I can now take the higher Maths SATS level. So thank you CGP.
Evangaline — London , United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2007 at 18:25:24
I agree with the people who said the prices of the books are too high. As I am studying for 11 GCSEs at present, I can't afford all the relevant books. Please consider lowering the prices CGP!
Georgina — London, United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2007 at 17:29:50
Fantastic range of books, but why don't you have Spanish in your languages section - your books are invaluable as a reference and my son could certainly use it!
Joanne — Watford, United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2007 at 10:24:20
Would be good to see the year of production.
ie: Revised 2006 etc.
Nothing too bad just an idea.

I enjoy reading CGP books - they are the best thing to help you learn. I absolutely love the science one. We use your books in school.

How long does it take to make a CGP book?
Guestbook Editor: How long's a piece of string?
Arron morton — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 21 Mar 2007 at 20:49:45
Lame jokes! But I am a level 5 in everything and I owe it all to CGP and my giant brain.
Joel Oyelese — romford, United Kingdom — 21 Mar 2007 at 19:42:43
CGP books are great but why aren't there any good games for KS2? We need good games!!! Like the monster creating game. Plus the prices are way steep they should be £2.

I love your books! Great stuff! But ordering online was a bit of a pain in the neck. Your website needs cleaning up. And do you actually know what rubbish is on your History page? About Jebediah Coordination? But apart from your website, CGP rocks my footwear!
Alvo von Cossel — Bishop's Stortford, United Kingdom — 20 Mar 2007 at 19:08:41
Just want to tell you how great is your book. It's really helping me out on science&english - keep up the good work
jay b — coventry, United Kingdom — 20 Mar 2007 at 18:58:06
I find your books very interesting and they are only 5 pounds. All the other books I get are around £20. I attend a private school and they tell me these cgp books aren't very good, however I quite like them. They recommended me other books, but I find them a bore, unlike your books.

J — London, United Kingdom — 20 Mar 2007 at 15:35:09
I found it a bit boring you - should try adding some more learning games that KS3 pupils can play on and learn at the same time.
lauren .w. — geordie land, United Kingdom — 20 Mar 2007 at 11:48:31
I'm a great fan of your books and have been using them for a number of years with each of my kids in turn. They are a great resource and refreshingly humorous. We love the illustrations! Keep up the good work, and thanks.

The website needs to be a bit more lively with the colour and activities on the web.
Tamanna — Evington, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2007 at 19:57:01
When do you intend on bringing out A level maths workbooks?
Guestbook Editor: Sorry we've no plans at the moment to product A-Level Maths Workbooks, but I've noted your suggestion - thanks! However, there are plenty of exercises in the Revision Guides to check understanding throughout the book (with answers).
jane — , United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2007 at 18:28:14
There need to be more gcse English products, preferably practice papers
Jamie — Ilford, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2007 at 17:56:40
This website needs some games for the users to play. Perhaps some revision links and some revision based games. The prices are ok but it's pushing it a bit. But they're good.
Sophie — Chatham, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2007 at 14:54:09
I am both a teacher and a mother, and I have yet to find books and practice papers as good as the ones you offer. Working with my children has become a pleasure for them instead of a chore. Thank you.

I just love reading CGP books but I reckon the web should improve like add some games and fun learning stuff. Also I'm begging to reduce the price that is present which will attract more people to buy these books but it's entirely up to you.
Laura — London, United Kingdom — 18 Mar 2007 at 13:21:33
Hello I have bought the OCR revision guide for A level biology and it is very helpful. i just wondered if you were going to bring out revision guides for Chemistry which are also course specific (i.e. OCR, AQA) in the future, as I've found it really does make a difference.

Edwin Kwok — Harlow, United Kingdom — 17 Mar 2007 at 09:33:27
I think this site is very useful, but there is one problem and the problem is that you don't do online tests and give the answers to the questions to see if we are right, so you should start to do online tests with the answers next to it on another page.

Awais — Wakefield, United Kingdom — 15 Mar 2007 at 16:15:11
Great books. More and more parents are trying to compensate for their schools' lack of, shall we say, urgency! I think that there is a market for complete sets of books and maximium discount of 20 per cent is not enough for someone who orders the whole set of books for a key stage. You could market a complete set containing one copy of each book, e.g. click to buy a complete set. Also how about an affliate program?
Geoff Edwards — Bath, United Kingdom — 15 Mar 2007 at 13:01:25
After reading many of these comments, I couldn't help but notice that quite a few of you reckon that CGP should put their prices down.
I disagree with anybody who said this. If you have a browse in WHSmith then you will notice that it's very difficult to find a revision guide for GCSE less than £10. After picking up brilliant Citizenship and Engish revision guides off this website, both for only a fiver, I would say that they are definitely worth the money compared to other more expensive revision guides in bookshops.

I think the books are great and very educational but the prices need to go down a little bit because they are way too expensive and some people get less pocket money and to save up weeks to get these books.

I love the books. As I do not go out at lunchtimes they are ideal for me to sit in the library and quietly read to myself. My family have always loved the CGP books series as we find them helpful for family revision sessions. My six younger brothers and sisters have all indulged recently in your KS2 selection.

I think that these books are very useful because these tips will help people think more about their tests and not about playing.

I hate your books - they are so expensive. When you try and order it doesn't tell you when it is coming [Guestbook editor: Books ordered in the UK are delivered the next day]. By the way, the jokes in your books are completely sad.

Thank you for such fantastic books!
I found the GCSE Media book very difficult to find in bookshops but after I got the last remaining copy from Waterstones, the wait was well worth it.
The book is excellent and has helped me not only for the exams but for ideas on what to put in my coursework.
I now own Science, Math, English and am getting the Geography book also.

I simply love your books. They really make me laugh while I'm learning. I think this should be the new way of teaching from now on. Normally it would take an entire court to get me to read a textbook for more than a minute (willingly) without getting bored. CGP has really made me fall in love with them and taught me loads like this. I wonder why people call me a ''boffin''?
