I LOVE CGP! Wouldn't get any A*s at all without 'em probably! I wanna get all A*s and CGP helps enormously ... thanks so much!

Ellie — London, United Kingdom — 30 May 2007 at 19:51:09

Your books are brill! we found our SATs were soooo easy peasy thanks to your books! Both are expecting Level 5s in each subject {hopefully}! Our salutations to the cool CGP gang! U rock!

Sid and Hira — London, Enfield, United Kingdom — 30 May 2007 at 17:21:16

I have just recently finished my SATs. I found your books really useful and nice to look at and use. They have hopefully contributed to very good future opportunites. Thanks a lot CGP.

Lara — Newcastle, United Kingdom — 30 May 2007 at 09:45:51

Just wanted to thank all the CGP people who have made it possible for me to achieve all my As and Bs in GCSE you're doing a great job and keep it up. Without the help of CGP only God knows what I would be doing now.

Esther — Bexley Kent, United Kingdom — 29 May 2007 at 21:00:23

cgp... are really good revision books

aysha — macclesfield, United Kingdom — 29 May 2007 at 20:04:25

These books are excellent for major exams e.g. GCSEs and SATs.

Samantha — Watford , United Kingdom — 29 May 2007 at 19:48:26

I like the product range... Great for exams.

Faisal — , United Kingdom — 29 May 2007 at 14:48:24

If too many rubbish unnecessary books not quick enough delivery system and dull and boring with with no exercise on revision guides...

tom smith — hampshire, United Kingdom — 29 May 2007 at 12:34:56

Really I want to say many thanks for all your stuff.
Your website & books help me to study with my children and also help them in exams. My two sons are in an English school in Kuwait.

nermeen m. fahmy — kuwait, Kuwait — 29 May 2007 at 08:54:17

There are too many words and it's hard to understand. There should be more pictures to help us.

Zaiera Cader — East Ham, United Kingdom — 28 May 2007 at 21:18:32

I have my end of year exams coming up, and CGP books really helped get my head around science.

Sarita — London, United Kingdom — 28 May 2007 at 20:11:23

Obviously the best revision guide

Hafsa — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 28 May 2007 at 19:15:21

I would like to say that CGP books are great books to revise form and I do find them helpful to revise from. However I am more of a visual learner and I try to revise online. I would like to ask you whether more revison pages can be put on this website for me to revise from. At this point I'm stuck on the topic solving equations using graphs. I hope you can put that topic on your website....

Anaum Shaikh — Ilford, United Kingdom — 28 May 2007 at 13:47:17

I love the cheesey jokes and the funky cartoons.
It makes learning a whole lot easier in my opinion.
The science books got me an A in my mocks -I'm hoping to get the same or even better in the real GCSE! wouldn't be able to do it without CGP!

sarah — gorleston, United Kingdom — 28 May 2007 at 11:27:46

It would be better if you split up the topics (in Maths) because it is easier to revise. I would not recommend these books.

Declan — Whitehaven, United Kingdom — 27 May 2007 at 19:29:11

Probably the best books in the world to get top marks.

Roshan — Salisbury, United Kingdom — 27 May 2007 at 16:39:55

Hey your books are amazing.
They make everything so clear and a lot more interesting to learn. If it wasn't for these fab books I would probably fail all my GCSEs so thank you so so so much. The science and maths ones are the most helpful out of all them though I would say!

Becci Norman — Henley -on-Thames, United Kingdom — 27 May 2007 at 11:11:19

PLZ put practice tests for all the grades. It will really help.

— , United Kingdom — 26 May 2007 at 21:32:03

omg... the CGP books help you so much... I was stressing so much for my exams.... keep it up CGP

namz — jeddah, Saudi Arabia — 26 May 2007 at 21:26:56

I love CGP. I have my SATs next week and so far it's been level 5s so I would like to thank you and also ask if the workbooks could have higher standards for us year 6's?

ellen — hongkong, Hong Kong — 26 May 2007 at 08:24:40

Hola, my friend from London told me I should revise from this to get good grades, and it actually worked.

Alesha Martinez — , Mexico — 25 May 2007 at 18:58:41

THIS WEBSITE IS SO GOOD, IT HELPED ME WITH MY EXAM A LOT.

latinagirl — Croydon, United Kingdom — 25 May 2007 at 18:56:32

Used your books when I was doing my SATS and loved them; however I am now doing my GCSEs and just find the ''jokes'' patronising and cringy. Well done for helping people though.

Sax Permane — , United Kingdom — 25 May 2007 at 18:27:36

I did SATS last week and the CGP Books really helped me top up my knowledge about ENGLISH MATHS and SCIENCE

Elysia — Torquay , United Kingdom — 25 May 2007 at 16:53:20

Can you have exam questions on this web site. Also, this website is slightly out-dated.

Ahmad — Kingston, United Kingdom — 24 May 2007 at 11:51:46

Really useful website showing full range of revision aids. Easy to use - with discount as well!

Sylvia Allcock — Blackburn, United Kingdom — 24 May 2007 at 11:22:13

I have the first of my GCSE textiles papers tomorrow and have been using your revsion guide to revise. It is very useful but I was very disappointed to find that you do a workbook for every technology other than textiles.
Please sort it out for everyone who is doing textiles in the future. To be able to do practice questions on every subject would be much more useful, as after completing all of the practice papers, I have no more practice left.

Sarah — Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom — 24 May 2007 at 10:13:24

This website is cool. At school we've got CGP books for the subject Science. We've got SATs test next week. This really helps.

Claire — Hong Kong, Hong Kong — 24 May 2007 at 03:34:15

CGP Books are totally cool and funny, plus they help you so much in your SATs that you just have to read some more.

Tolu — Lagos, Nigeria — 23 May 2007 at 21:06:03

Your books are great, and five minutes of reading your French GCSE Revision Guide has taught me more than an hour of my teacher trying to explain D.O.Ps! Mind you, my teacher could probably learn a lot from these books...

Jenna — , United Kingdom — 23 May 2007 at 20:46:28

Really. I think that CGP is no good and it only gives us the basics of everything. That's why I never use them. Last time I did I was in year 6 and I didn't get anywhere so a week before my SATs I has to search for another revision book.
Editor comment:
Oh dear. But the main thing is that you did revise - hope you did well.

Roshni — coulson, United Kingdom — 23 May 2007 at 20:04:19

Wow. The only thing is you have no proper games.

sherrie — eastbourne, United Kingdom — 23 May 2007 at 19:18:33

These books are fab. They gave me a lot of help!!

lilmizpink — london, United Kingdom — 23 May 2007 at 17:50:41

Thanks for your help. The books are fab. All I need to do know is revise for the GCSEs :( Can't believe no one told me about these before. Good job I know now and you do them for A levels.

char — , United Kingdom — 23 May 2007 at 16:49:03

I hate this web because you don't give us the SATs papers.

garsh — barking, United Kingdom — 23 May 2007 at 16:12:56

I cannot recommend these books highly enough.
I bought the practice sats papers for key stage 1 and have been told by my child's teacher that he acheived level 3c which is fantastic as he was predicted 2b.
CGP books are a must for parents wanting to support their child's education. I will certainly be a customer for many years to come.

Mrs A Emery — Bristol, United Kingdom — 23 May 2007 at 14:41:43

This website and CGP books helped with my GCSE English Lit exam, and my ICT exam that I did yesterday! :)

Aneesha Varma — Leicester, United Kingdom — 23 May 2007 at 13:15:45

We like your books very much and they did help my son in his key stage one, two and three and we hope it will help him get A* in his GCSE science exam in a couple of weeks.

Many thanks

yoursfaithfully,

jakia — small heath, United Kingdom — 22 May 2007 at 16:22:54

Heya CGP.. I am loving your work. Keep it up. I am a year 8 and never understood anything whatsoever of maths. But thanks to you I am now getting top marks in my homework and my tests I do. Thank you.

megan — swindon, United Kingdom — 22 May 2007 at 11:44:57

I think these books are good..but there are some others that are a better guide for the more capable student as they discuss and gives much more detailed answers and knowledge you can use in your exams... not bad though... not bad

anna chhesborough — Castleford, United Kingdom — 21 May 2007 at 19:21:13

In physics I never understood moments. But, thanks to you, I actually understand them. Good work CGP. Keep it up.

lisa-marie — porth , United Kingdom — 21 May 2007 at 13:52:50

I'm sitting my GCSEs and all of my revision guides are CGP. I used them for my SATs in year 6 and year 9 and I did well so I'm hoping it'll be the same this year. Just wanted to say thanks. The books make revising a little less tedious and even make me giggle every so often. Good luck to anyone that has got or has done exams!

Great books! I have just purchased your Citizenship Key stage four Revision book and noticed that on page 9, the Union Jack is upside down. What now?
Editor comment:
Oo er! You might be right. Though if the flagpole's on the right, and you squint a bit, the white stripes at the bottom right are a teeny bit broader on the top than the bottom. You have got us banged to rights on the rest though. The person who drew it will have their red felt pens confiscated immediately. Well spotted.

I'm in year 10 and, in June I am doing unit 1 of all 3 science exams. All my science teachers and our friends really do hate our text books so your revision guides have reeeeeeeeeally made it soooo much easier for us! I love the way there's little witty quirks in them, it really makes revision much more fun (well slightly more bearable)
Keep it up!!

Prishi — London, United Kingdom — 15 May 2007 at 17:31:06

I am a GCSE student currently in year 10. I am taking a GCSE in Latin next year, and as I didn't find that you publish any Latin revision books, would strongly recommend that you do, because I know many people would benefit from the alternative format of your books. I used your KS3 books in maths and science and am also revising from the new 21st century science GCSE book, as our school switched to the course at the beginning of my GCSE year and I am set to take the first lot of exams in June.
Thank you very much for your services to pupils everywhere, as you continue to produce brilliantly different books!

Lydia — , United Kingdom — 15 May 2007 at 16:38:13

Why are SATs so important?

— , United Kingdom — 15 May 2007 at 16:31:55

This web site is really good. However all the sections don't really give you all the information you need, or they give you the info you all ready know and is quite simple.
Anyway, this website is still fab. It could be extended to an extent and could give more advice. Especially if your SATs are this week! Hope to get 5a's!

Peter — Robson, United Kingdom — 15 May 2007 at 07:29:40

I've got SATS today and we're starting with science and I'm really worried.

sania — london, United Kingdom — 13 May 2007 at 20:08:31

Hi... erm. I just needed a little help with my exams so I went on Google and I found this site. It does help, especialy the quizzes, but I have some CGP books myself at home but half of the things aren't in it... I'm doing KS3... I think you should try adding more quizzes and more pages (study pages). People come here to learn not to buy books... If we wanted to buy books then obviously we would be out in the streets.
Editor comment:
Believe it or not, some people do buy books from our jolly web site.

Your books are great for GCSE and also reasonably priced compared to others, but not everyone can afford to buy them. We are the generation of online learners and you need to change with us. Your website has been most unhelpful.

Lily carruthers — Shanklin, Isle of wight, United Kingdom — 13 May 2007 at 17:12:15

(Commenting on book SHR39, KS3 Science Revision Guide - Levels 5-7

The book could have been more detailed, and have more exam-styled questions, with answers.

Shah — Antwerp , Belgium — 13 May 2007 at 16:21:40

WOW! This site is very helpful especially because I have got SATs which are starting from tomorrow. The book is real funny!

I think these books are really educational from my calculations.

marie — liverpool, United Kingdom — 13 May 2007 at 15:46:12

Hi, I think your books are great but you obviously have a problem with satisfying demand for more diverse subjects. Your range of books available at A level is very thin. There is an obvious demand for a provider of top quality revision guides at A level. Why don't you take advantage of this? I am currently studying A levels and it is extremly difficult to find revision guides for specific subjects that I take. Sort it out CGP and cash in on this fantastic opportunity to make your business even more profitable.

Tom — Ormskirk, United Kingdom — 13 May 2007 at 15:05:37

Simran Ghumaan — Leicester, United Kingdom — 12 May 2007 at 16:49:48

I think that this site should help children revise better instead of focussing on buying the books. I went on interactive and games and that was the only two helpful things that helped me with my revising because my SATs were coming up and I am in year six.

taz — london, United Kingdom — 12 May 2007 at 16:47:47

sophie — plymouth, United Kingdom — 12 May 2007 at 09:26:24

I think CGP books are great, they have all you need to know. I've completed the Science one.
My Mum tested me and the first time I got 42 wrong but the second time round I got 2 wrong.
I think you should put questions in the English because I found it a bit boring just reading through it. The Maths one is hard but I'm getting better at it now. I have my Sats on Monday 14 May.
It may seem weird but I'm looking forward to my Sats lots . I wish anybody in years 2&6 in all the world GOOD LUCK!!!

My 3 favourite things about CGP books:
1. The air guitar section at the back of the GCSE Music book
2. The Guppie Fish at the back of the GCSE DT Food book
3. All the jokes in the other books!
Makes my revision time way more exciting!

I think that you should give more information when you click on book details. For example, I was looking for a Business Studies revision guide and I didn't know which one to get. I had to read the description instead of having the option to click on sample pages and contents opposite.

Holly Williams — , United Kingdom — 11 May 2007 at 17:28:58

hibah tahir — , United Kingdom — 09 May 2007 at 20:39:17

This book helped a lot. It helped me to understand some of the words and phrases in the set scene and you made it easy to take in and easier to see with all the colours and the different fonts. I think it could be improved by underlining key words that can help you get higher marks in the tests.

joey — hartlepool, United Kingdom — 09 May 2007 at 19:48:36

How pathetic. People who are leaving comments that are irrelevent, uncalled for and nasty and don't even leave their name! I think CGP are a good help to achieve what you want.

I am in the middle of doing my SATs, and have been using your books.Yes the books are useful but I feel they don't go into as much detail as they do in other books, and the thing that really annoys me is the JOKES AND PICTURES OF THE STUPID PEOPLE! They get in the way. I know you are trying to make revision fun but it's not meant to be. I also feel that the jokes are too young for us! eg holy shamoly haha sooo funny NOT! In the future i will not be purchasing these books! The jokes and pictures are annoying and stop people from learning!

s.m — basildon, United Kingdom — 08 May 2007 at 18:28:50

I think this website is good but the books are better as they give you more information. I think maybe the jokes and puns could be improved but apart from that they are really good, jam packed with information.

Ryan King Aged:13 — Wareham, United Kingdom — 08 May 2007 at 18:21:30

Your books are ok but they're a bit short. What I mean by that is across, say, 2 pages there's only 4 pieces of info about one subject. But ignore what everyone else says. Me and my friends think you're fab.

— , United Kingdom — 08 May 2007 at 17:55:58

I think your books are very helpfull and make a lot of sense. I really like the English because as you may see I'm not very good at spelling. The only thing is I would put more games by YOU on the website here because your games are more fun than the ones the kids made up. I've got my SATs in 4 days and you have really helpped me.

Oh your books and website are just simply divine! I don't know what i would do without them! They are just amazing. I love them so so so much! They've helped me so much and I totally hope they last forever ... I think I would cry without them! Thank you for making them.

Steady on!

POLLYANNA — , Bhutan — 08 May 2007 at 09:39:21

WHY IS EVERYONE BEING SO FLATTERING ABOUT THE WEBSITE AND THE BOOKS? FAIR ENOUGH YOU MAY THINK THEY ARE GOOD, BUT TO SAY THEY ARE THE BEST THING EVER AND YOU PRAY YOU HAVE THEM FOREVER? WHAT IS THAT ABOUT?

No name — , Bangladesh — 08 May 2007 at 09:36:17

I love your books! They're really helpful, thanks.

charlotte — ellesmere port, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 22:28:29

I think that your revision guides are great. I used them for my yr 9 SATs and will be buying some for my GCSEs.

Taslima — Wednesbury, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 20:42:52

BOMBASTIC. Sort of. But you should make the website more comprehensive. Sometimes the books are silly (the little comments that are unnecessary), but much more interesting than most revision books.

Mr Bombastic — Milton keynes , United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 20:21:23

I love these books. They get me through my exams with the best marks possible! I greatly advise anyone to buy them. They make revising fun making it easier to understand and take in!

— , United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 19:51:20

Hiya! Your books are really good and have helped me lots with my SATS revision. I think that the way the things written in there get you to learn the main key words and you can just memorise them. It's great! There are no books like yours as yours are the BEST! I just also want to say thank you for making revison fun and intresting for me and my friends during the holidays! I have got my SATS tomorrow and I'm really nervous!

PS I'm cool.

My friend hates you and your jokes.

Anonymous — , United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 19:06:51

I think your books are unbelievably easy to understand and follow and make studying a lot more enjoyable! But if you could do more quizzes on your website and set them up in a very simple way for everyone to understand it would be great! Also have you ever thought of printing a book on creative writing and each story in it is written by a kid? I think it would go down very well. Anyway keep up the good work!

Anisah — Hounslow, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 18:32:56

Your books are so helpful. Last year in year seven, these books helped me achieve a level 6. WICKED books!!!

Luke — Isle Of Wight, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 18:29:38

I was really worried about my KS3 SATs before and thought I had no idea on how to do a load of stuff. Then my science teacher handed out your level 5-7 science revision book. It's fabulous. It's so easy to understand and then I can test myself with the questions. It's just what I wanted.

Kat — , United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 18:16:51

The books are great. The school gave us some. I only wish I could have got them all because I would have done brilliantly in my SATs. The jokes and one liners really helped me. If only learning and revision could be this fun all the time.

Rachael — Aldershot, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 17:00:55

These books are really good and I have used them since I was in yr 6. But as you get older you need more mature books, books that are actually going to help you. I have my SATs tomorrow, which is Tuesday 8th May, and I need to revise for Science. I haven't been given any books from school and there is no revision on this website. Improve your website and until then I shall go elsewhere for my revision. I am predicted English-6/7, Science-6 and Maths-7. At the moment there is no way that I am going to get those levels, and I blame that on you guys who make up this website. I rest my case.

No name given — , United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 16:28:42

Your books have really helped me. Although I'm still not confident I'll do well they have been a great help.

Kealey — Hampshire, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 15:10:50

''A number of trees were harmed in the making of this book''?
What's that supposed to mean? My best friend just happens to be a tree, and when she got this book in our science lesson, she ran out of the room (emo-child).
Anyway, thanks for the help, I guess, but I hold you all completely responsible if I fail my science SATs. :-) or get anything less than level 7.

None — , United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 14:55:32

Yeah well, the guy down there (arrow pointing down) needs to get a life.
The website's good, and it has everything you need, but you need more design. It looks like a person who is amazing at creating websites has taken very little time in designing it.
A great little website anyway!

Josh — Eastbourne, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 14:51:08

You could make better revision guides for English. Not Shakespeare but English and website could have better games on. The rest of your guides are brilliant.

Nice try — Manchester, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 13:37:16

You need to add better stuff on the website to help kids learn. It is all rubbish - start from new - by the way it is not a groovy website like it says in all the CGP books!!!

bobby jones — sabirna, United Kingdom — 07 May 2007 at 13:07:21

CGP books have helped me so much for doing my English SATS tests. Every time I look in them I learn something new. It would be so helpful if you made a revision website so that I could revise with that as well. I like playing games and tests.
Thank the person who made CGP books.

I usually only do doctor who, doctor who, doctor who but when my SATS started coming up I had to do revision. I tried doing it the way my mum and school recomended but I could not get my head round it. But then my mum got me some CGP books and I started reading them and sudenly revision became so much easier. And I am doing so well there is still time for things I like eg Doctor Who!!!

Of course I find the books very helpful as well. I seem to adapt to your way of laying out revision a lot more than all my teacher's notes!

Hi. I think your website is quite old fashioned and the books are alright i guess... I am doing my SATs and I am scared to death. I have done some of CGP exams. It's just that I wasn't so sure if questions like that would happen in real SATs... Some of the jokes are just lame now, they don't mean anything. It's just a play on words & the summary on the end is all about the joke [and explaing it]. I have nearly every book you have created in 2005, 2006 and 2007. I have been reading other revision books and I feel they get to the point and don't make pointless jokes that us kids dont even find funny. CGP is not the best revision book. If you have a small test they are good but if you have your GCSE's or maybe SATs then I would reccomend for CGP to follow the example of some other publishers...
