Lovely website:)

Bianca — London , United Kingdom — 30 Dec 2008 at 15:00:39

Just a bit of nit-picking here, in your Sociology A/S Revision Guide (the blue one) on page 37 Pahl is referred to as a he when she is a she. =D

Rachael — , United Kingdom — 30 Dec 2008 at 14:41:21

I think this website is brill. In my school we're using the KS2 SATS Science book for revision. The only thing I would say is they are quite dear if you buy them out of school (private products).

Chloe — Luton, United Kingdom — 29 Dec 2008 at 17:26:09

At school, my teacher showed the class a business studies revision guide for AGA board that combined AS and A2 which was CGP. Have you still got this?

Hannah — Hertfordshire , United Kingdom — 29 Dec 2008 at 14:08:28

Guestbook Editor: Hmm, sounds like your teacher either had the AS or A2 level AQA Revision Guide. Take a look at our Product pages — we've a Revision Guide for each level but not one that combines both AS and A2. Perhaps you could check with your teacher which book they're using.

Your books are really good have got me through SATS, GCSE and AS chemistry. I was just wondering if there was a reason there seem to be so few A2 books. It's not like A2 revision books is an over saturated market especially ICT.

Lou — Weymouth, United Kingdom — 27 Dec 2008 at 14:49:25

Guestbook Editor: Our busy little editors are working their socks off to make some new A2 books which should be ready later this year. We're sorry but we haven't plans to make an A2 ICT book at the moment — we'll add it to the list of ones people would like us to make.

I found the Shakespeare range invaluable when taking my GCSE, I did Macbeth. Really pleased I managed to find your website as my son is now doing Much Ado About Nothing and I am teaching in a primary school. Sure I will be using your website lots, fantastic books that are easy for children to use.

Kinda good helped me with my SATS.

y.boi — London, United Kingdom — 25 Dec 2008 at 22:43:19

This is really good.

Asad — London, United Kingdom — 24 Dec 2008 at 15:11:37

I got A*s in 11 of my GCSEs, but then I got one A. The A was in Systems and Control - Electronics. I desperately needed a revision guide and couldn''t find one anywhere, and I had so much trouble with the course, as we had a substitute teacher who knew nothing about electronics for the whole course. My thoughts go out to everyone who suffered from the lack of Electronics revision guides.

Hannah — Essex , United Kingdom — 19 Dec 2008 at 21:26:21

Guestbook Editor: Thanks for your suggestion, we'll add it to the list of books that people would like us to make. Congrats on a fab set of GCSE results!

I think they help you learn and that they are also funny and not dull and boring.

Simran — Leicester, United Kingdom — 19 Dec 2008 at 14:29:11

Please CGP make an A-level Maths revision guide! One that would cater for the different options, and one for Further Maths! I'm not sure I'll be able to do it without you! Do you have any plans to release an A-level maths revision guide in the future?

Sean Bullock — London, United Kingdom — 18 Dec 2008 at 19:50:28

Guestbook Editor: We're sorry we haven't managed to make an A2 Maths Revision Guide — the problem is the course is such a whopper we haven't worked out a way of getting everything into a lovely affordable book. The A2 Maths courses are due to change in 2010 so we'll be reviewing our range then.

While the content of the CGP books are excellent, the graphic design is really appalling. The colours, typography and layout make it all but impossible to extract information. Looking at my son''s GCSE AQA Biology book is enough to cause a seizure. Every element is trying to scream louder than the next, with no relief for the eye or the mind. My advice, CGP: get a decent editorial/informational designer to sort the mess out. You won''t need to lose the liveliness. Trust me; students will get better results. You''ll sell more books. How my son will pass his GCSE in the meantime, I''ve no idea...

Simon Barwick — , Cayman Islands — 18 Dec 2008 at 16:59:23

Guestbook Editor: We're really sorry you don't like the style of our books — we know they're not to everyone's taste but lots of people tell us they like our books as they are.

Very good books but why don't you publish a GCSE Systems and Controls book in your Technology range?

Sam — Blackwell, United Kingdom — 16 Dec 2008 at 16:34:45

Guestbook Editor: Good question! We can only make so many books at a time, otherwise our busy little editors would be completely worn out. We'll add it to our list of ideas for the future though.

Very good books.

Rebeccca — Norwich, United Kingdom — 15 Dec 2008 at 14:45:54

Hi, I just want to say that I love your books. I have the Science book and I can understand everything on every page. I'll maybe have to buy the English book so I can improve my grammar. I LOVE these books. Thank you for taking time to write them and publish them!!

Diana — Stockholm, Sweden — 14 Dec 2008 at 16:29:24

I have bought a CGP book, GCSE OCR 21st century Core Science. I'm doing my GCSE's 2 years early and to make things worse it's the higher paper... argh! Has the book got everything I need to know and is the paper extremely hard?

Claire — London, United Kingdom — 14 Dec 2008 at 15:52:14

Guestbook Editor: No worries — our Higher level Revision Guide covers all the stuff you need to know for this course. Good luck with your studies.

I think this site is very interesting. I've got the books and I liked the site and would give it 99.99%.

Rashann — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 13 Dec 2008 at 19:19:48

You need to make an electronics book! I have all your other ones! I won't pass without it!!

Trisha Abiola — London, United Kingdom — 11 Dec 2008 at 20:26:26

I can''t find a guide for ''GCSE Design & Technology - Electronics Products'' anywhere!

Rafael da Silva — Stretford , United Kingdom — 11 Dec 2008 at 09:11:39

Guestbook Editor: We're sorry, we don't have a GCSE D&T Electronic Products Revision Guide at the moment — we'll add it to our bag of ideas for the future though!

These books are very expensive!

Lily — , Yugoslavia — 10 Dec 2008 at 18:53:49

I've just bought a GCSE Revision book from school and I really like using it. Although there aren't any answers to the questions at the end of each unit. I understand they are all in the text, but surely if you were to give an expected GCSE answer to a question, we would be able to know how to phrase things appropriately etc?

Dannii — Lopez, United Kingdom — 09 Dec 2008 at 17:16:56

Guestbook Editor: Most of our GCSE Revision Guides have matching Workbooks — these mirror the topics in the Revision Guide but are crammed full of lots of lovely questions for you to answer. Our Workbooks either have the answers in the back or have a matching Answerbook so you can check how you've done.

I have used your book to revise and I got good use out of it. I scored a level 4, I think that is very good.

Somer — Newcastle, United Kingdom — 09 Dec 2008 at 16:32:42

Thanks for a wonderful selection of books. The students love it and it makes revision fun. They enjoy the jokes although they don''t like admitting it. Do you have a CD rom for Science OCR 21st Century? I don''t find your generic science revision book helpful as it doesn''t cover some aspects of the exam board. But when the books are tailored to the relevant exam board it is much more useful.

Moji Aguda — Hemel Hempstead , United Kingdom — 08 Dec 2008 at 23:34:27

Guestbook Editor: You'll be pleased to know we do have an OCR 21st Century Core Science eDiagrams CD-Rom — it contains loads of clear diagrams for use on an interactive whiteboard. To find out more just visit the GCSE Science product page or call one of our friendly team on 0800 1712 712 and they'll be happy to help.

The books are very good but you need to get a wider range on your interactive revision section. I am using GCSE AQA Additional Science Revision Guide for higher level, and I didn't find very much for my subject on this website.

Sarah — England, United Kingdom — 08 Dec 2008 at 17:06:33

I love CGP books but where do you buy them?

Yasin Fatima — Mordern, United Kingdom — 07 Dec 2008 at 13:39:28

Guestbook Editor: You can get your hands on our lovely books online through this website or just give one of our friendly operators a call on 0800 1712 712 and they'll be happy to help you out. If you prefer you can request them through your local bookshop — hope this helps!

I use your books for my revision and since I've been using them, my marks have gone up. Thanks CGP!!

Sarah — Kineton, United Kingdom — 07 Dec 2008 at 12:01:56

I am a secondary school teacher and I find your books to be very very interesting. When I introduced one of your books in class, most of my students loved it. They seem to contain just the vital facts to retain. They load the brain with real stuff. I love that.

Ebot John — Yaounde, Cameroon — 05 Dec 2008 at 21:56:33

Books are good but too much money.

Why is this book so expensive in my local bookshop? We're only students... gosh! Thanks to the CGP site... this book isn't so costly.

Innocence — London, United Kingdom — 04 Dec 2008 at 18:37:40

I'd just like to say I have been using these books for all my life practically and I absolutely LOVE them!! You guys totally rock!! Thank you for making revision actually quite fun, and now when it comes to revising... I actually look forward to it!!
Thank again darlings, Annabella x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x

p.s. I think I need to go now to do some revising

Annabella Kidd — , United Kingdom — 04 Dec 2008 at 17:41:33

Brilliant books. Maybe need more of a variety of subjects like Food & Nutrition and Drama.

Grace — London, United Kingdom — 03 Dec 2008 at 19:09:15

I like CGP books.

I have this fabulous revision guide to help me pass my examinations at school. And, I must say that I can most definitely feel the improvement. I am now actually looking forward to my exams! This is a magnificent book and can really make a difference to your maths too!!

Ayesha Mohamed — London, United Kingdom — 03 Dec 2008 at 13:53:03

I want to learn English.

Kamal Pushpakumara — Kadawatha, United Kingdom — 03 Dec 2008 at 13:37:02

CGP is great. Makes everything easy and simple to understand, but they need to produce books for A level Economics. Thanks.

Bobbi — London, United Kingdom — 03 Dec 2008 at 13:18:06

These books got me through my GCSE's and now they're getting me through my A-Levels. Thank you CGP.

And in response to: (Commenting on book MHR22, KS2 Maths Study Book)
If schools get it for like £2.00 why don't we get it for that price? — It's because schools buy them in bulk.

Dave — Cardiff, United Kingdom — 03 Dec 2008 at 08:33:50

Thank you so much for your amazing books - they are the most helpful study guides I have ever seen!!! Thank you for all your hard work at CGP!!!

At school we've only got Science and Maths study books for our booster lessons. We don't have English - that's strange as we always do literacy normally.

Matthew — Kings Lynn, United Kingdom — 02 Dec 2008 at 20:21:26

I'm not making a big deal or nothing but why is the Science study book £2 and we bought it from school for £2.50. You should make them £2.50 on here, they're definitely worth that much.

Matthew — Kings Lynn, United Kingdom — 02 Dec 2008 at 20:03:31

I like the website it's very nice. I've got 2 of your books that I bought to use and study for my booster lessons. I've got Science and Maths study books and I love them.

Matthew — Kings Lynn, United Kingdom — 02 Dec 2008 at 19:58:16

On your Education System page it says that the SAT's for KS3 are cancelled but at my school were still having it, just my luck, ha?!

Me — London, United Kingdom — 02 Dec 2008 at 17:51:22

CGP books are great, they are interactive and I have been learning with them all my life!

Bismah — , United Kingdom — 01 Dec 2008 at 18:24:29

Will there be any chance of Standard Grade books like the GCSE ones being published for Scotland?

Nicola — Fraserburgh, United Kingdom — 01 Dec 2008 at 12:54:53

Guestbook Editor:

Used the Geography book for S4 prelims. Very useful and exceedingly helpful.
Am now waiting for results. Would use the books again.
