Your books are very good and easy to use. although I would recommend that you make the jokes a little bit better. But still good value for money.

Joe — Walsh, United Kingdom — 26 Feb 2010 at 18:54:24

Your jokes aren't good, you need to get better ones mates. But you've still got good books.

Thanks so much. I need to revise for my gcse and only got about a week left and I got the books on time and they are so helpful. My whole family uses them.

anonymous — london, United Kingdom — 25 Feb 2010 at 15:00:57

Thanks CGP - your books have been a great help to me as a mum in helping my children to understand things that have maybe not been explained enough for them at school! I have got 2 of them through the 11+ and just waiting on the result for no. 3 - your easy to understand explanations have been fab - particularly Maths!

Wendy — Plymouth, United Kingdom — 24 Feb 2010 at 22:22:59

I would just like to say can you add all the pages I need on this website coz I don't have the books. Our teacher said do a fact sheet on seeds dispersal and to find out info from our CGP books. Now I was thinking I know I can go on that website it's great. I go on the website, and guess what happens... no I mean just guess..... IT WASNT THERE. Now how am I supposed to do my homework?

Kasie — London, United Kingdom — 24 Feb 2010 at 19:04:53

CGP Books are excellent! I would recommend them to everybody that is doing A levels. All information is put into easy to understand chunks with the most important parts highlighted. Remember what the book says and you will know 100% of the stuff for your exam. The jokes make me laugh also!

Danny — Newcastle, United Kingdom — 24 Feb 2010 at 16:27:06

At 58 I am a late GCSE maths scholar having failed my GCE in 1967. My daughter reckons it is possible to pass the exam without having any lessons as long as you have your revision guide! Hmmm we shall see.

I don't recommend this book to anyone because it has no appropriate and correct facts.

Iman — London, United Kingdom — 23 Feb 2010 at 18:31:22

hey,
I'd just like to say that CGP are really good and that they're helping me so much with their books so thanks :)

This book helps me a lot in maths.

Rosheen — London, United Kingdom — 22 Feb 2010 at 18:54:26

I would like to say that CGP rules and made me more confident in English, Maths and Science. I'm currently a level 6a in all of these subjects and on track in school.

Mohamed — London, United Kingdom — 22 Feb 2010 at 12:06:47

A really fabulous range of products. Thanks!!

Chaya Posen — London, United Kingdom — 21 Feb 2010 at 23:28:45

I really enjoy using your books. I teach KS2 but use the KS3 Shakespeare guides to teach with - the children really respond well to them and the humorous way it is represented really helps them to understand some quite complex plots.

Jo — Barnet, United Kingdom — 21 Feb 2010 at 21:43:07

Before I hated maths but this book has made things a lot easier, helping me with my homework while squeezing in a few jokes!!!

Sophie James — Mortimer, United Kingdom — 21 Feb 2010 at 20:15:48

In the diagram on the bottom of page 89 of the third edition key stage three science revision guide, you wrote 'SCG top value revision book' instead of CGP. Was this to avoid copyright or was it a typo?

Yuku — Surrey, United Kingdom — 21 Feb 2010 at 18:17:56

Guestbook Editor: We'd not want you to think we were pushy!

Love the GCSE Edexcel Higher Modular Mathematics revision books, but I feel the past papers are a little off mark in terms of what is asked in the real exam and how hard questions are (your papers seem harder) and the design is slightly odd what with all the lines and not one simple space to show working?!

Arjun — Beckenham, United Kingdom — 21 Feb 2010 at 17:20:05

These books are invaluable. I have bought my two daughters these books over the years and I can say they have helped them considerably in achieving in school and out of school. Thank you

Victoria Hardy — Seaforth, United Kingdom — 20 Feb 2010 at 13:56:03

What a fantastically easy site to navigate. This is the first time I've used it and when I wasn't sure about something, I called the helpline. It was answered almost immediately by a real live PERSON, who answered my query straight away. (Thanks for that!) I will definitely be coming back to buy some more guides. (Which, by the way are SO easy to use and full of straight forward points to make revision easier). THANK YOU

Andrea — Ashford, United Kingdom — 19 Feb 2010 at 14:28:53

Tatenda — Croydon, United Kingdom — 18 Feb 2010 at 22:02:50

I really like your lovely books and I just want to say thank you because they really help me at school.

Aarti — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 18 Feb 2010 at 15:31:35

Put more info in your books and less jokes!

Amn — llford, United Kingdom — 18 Feb 2010 at 12:30:51

Guestbook Editor: We think you mean fewer jokes...

Brilliant books! However GCSE maths modular AQA papers are terrible. Confusing answers and one mistake on a question (4a) loses almost a quarter of your marks on section A.

bill — london, United Kingdom — 18 Feb 2010 at 11:39:47

Guestbook Editor: We're not sure if you mean higher or foundation and which module. We really want to put this right so do email or give us a call... please!

Intheend — London, United Kingdom — 16 Feb 2010 at 15:05:32

Guestbook Editor: Watch this space!

I'm at A level and I still use your books; the content are really simple yet ever so effective.

Ismail — London, United Kingdom — 16 Feb 2010 at 11:17:27

I think that CGP is no longer communicating with the exam boards. They don't cover the syllabus. For people wanting to get A* or A in their exam, CGP does not help them past getting a B. I was really disappointed with the GCSE Science guides for Edexcel that I bought. They were virtually no use at all, as they didn't cover any A - A* topics. I would really like CGP to start working with the exam boards to get EVERYTHING we need to know to get A* - even if it means having much bigger books. However, what information there is is well presented and broken down - congratulations on that. Please take my advice!

Junaid — Maidenhead, United Kingdom — 16 Feb 2010 at 10:56:18

The GCSE French book is amazing! Thank you so much. Believe it or not it boosted my predicted grade from a D to an A*. I had to work my bum off though but it was worth it. Thanks!

The science GCSE book is so amazing!! Because the subjects we have been studying in class are all in there e.g. we have a test tommorrow on the subject we recently have done called Now you see it now you don`t, and it is all in there and really clear! Thank you so much CGP!! Wish me luck in my exam! Xo
PS - is there a book based on the Applied Science GCSE course? Would be helpful! Xo

The books are so good and the jokes are great. A few more jokes and my children would be laughing their heads off. The question and the study book are very useful. I love these books because they're good for teaching and testing if they have listened to us.

I love your books and have used them to revise between being 6 and 14 (the age that I am now). I was just wondering, are you planning to create a revision guide for the new spec Edexel History GCSE? I don't want to have to resort to second class revision just because what I want isn't available! Thanks x

Have you got any IB CGP books.

Chaimaa — London, United Kingdom — 02 Feb 2010 at 11:34:56

Guestbook Editor: Not yet...

Yours are the very best books on the market. They're brilliant and pitched just right for each level - with one exception (and here's an idea for a new title); a book for students who are performing below their age. I have students who are in KS3 but are struggling to perform at that level and need to catch up. I also notice that your search engine doesn't recognise "dyslexia" - another thought for a title: KS3 English for students with dyslexia; or maths for students with dyscalculia. Either of those would be truly welcome.

Dave the Tutor — Newport, United Kingdom — 01 Feb 2010 at 14:51:22

I love your range of books they are beautifully laid out, colourful, humourous and most importantly concise and easy to learn from. My only criticism is that occasionally in some of the maths books the answers are wrong.
