i love the cgp books, but was wondering if the geography revision guide is ok for the new syllabus for edecxel
thanks daniella :)
daniella m — london, United Kingdom — 28 Nov 2010 at 22:56:36
Guestbook Editor: For GCSE, you mean? The Revision Guide (GHR42) will cover most of what you need to know for Edexcel, but maybe not down to the last detail — check with your teacher if there's anything you're unsure about, we'd say.
Can you please make a GCSE Sociology revision guide? It would be very helpful! Also some workbooks and practice papers!
Z — London, United Kingdom — 28 Nov 2010 at 18:24:21
Why can't answers to the workbooks be availiable online? it would be so much easier
Bob — Nottingham , United Kingdom — 28 Nov 2010 at 13:21:27
Hi, I'm in year 10 so just starting my GCSE's, do you sell any books specifically for English Lit. and Lang. with the board Edexcel higher tier? Thanks, Lily :)
Lily — Tavistock , United Kingdom — 27 Nov 2010 at 16:02:36
Guestbook Editor: Sorry... we don't have any GCSE English books specifically for Edexcel (yet). But! You'll find plenty of useful stuff in the 'All Other Boards' section of our GCSE English pages. Phew.
Hi, do you have any plans for IAWB resources for KS2 subjects? If so, what sort of time are you expecting them to be ready? Love your books as well! A valuable resource for a busy teacher!
Thanks for reading:)
Stefanie — Plymouth, United Kingdom — 26 Nov 2010 at 19:20:41
Guestbook Editor: Great! I don't have any details about new KS2 digital resources, but we do have a rather lovely CD-ROM for Interactive Whiteboards that goes with our Monsters reading books. You'll find it in our KS2 English section.
About a month ago my brother bought CGP books of KS2 it is a whole lot easier teaching and the books are full of attractive illustrations.
Thank you CGP!!!
Abdul — Nairobi , Kenya — 26 Nov 2010 at 18:49:03
CGP Can you make your maths revision books a bit more clearer? it keeps skipping steps
Jack — London , United Kingdom — 25 Nov 2010 at 16:11:58

I've just seen your IGCSE maths book which is very useful. Do you have any plans to publish a book for the OCR GCSE Additional Maths course? Or a workbook?
Rob — Shrewsbury, United Kingdom — 24 Nov 2010 at 09:51:54
Guestbook Editor: I'm afraid we probably won't be making new books for Additional Maths — as far as I can tell, it was a 'pilot' GCSE that's been discontinued this year. Sorry about that, but glad we could help you with IGCSE Maths.
Hi there, just wondering if you have any geography study books 'cause i can't see them. Thanks
P.S. Your books are really cool!
Lily — St.Albans, United Kingdom — 23 Nov 2010 at 20:03:59
Guestbook Editor: Why, thank you. Our Geography books (for KS2, KS3 and GCSE) are lurking behind the orange 'Humanities' button on our main books menu. Click on it, and Geography will appear as a surprising separate option.
I will be back.
I need help with sorting out the economy. Maybe a CGP book could help me. Or, on the other hand maybe I am beyond help.
PS I have very big muscles
Arnold — Sacramento, United Kingdom — 22 Nov 2010 at 20:45:54
Guestbook Editor: That made me laugh a lot. Sorry to hear about your economic problems, though. We live in challenging times.
Why do you not have any A2 Chemistry revision books for OCR B (Salters)?
Poppy Woods — Peterborough, United Kingdom — 22 Nov 2010 at 17:40:04
Guestbook Editor: We do! Just go to A2-Level Science in the 'Our Books' section of this website and look under Chemistry Revision Guides (or search for CRBR61). Mmm... Salters sweetness.
Hi, great books! :) I was wondering whether you would be selling the A2 edexcel maths books as seperate books e.g. one C3 book, one C4 book, one S2 book, etc. like with AS maths? If so, when would these be released for sale? Thanks
Eliza — Mathford, United Kingdom — 22 Nov 2010 at 10:54:41
Guestbook Editor: I think we're sticking to the all-in-one A2 Maths super-books for now, but we certainly wouldn't rule out splitting them into module books in the future — we'll keep your idea in mind. Thanks!
I just wanted to say how much of a help your books are- they were invaluable at both gcse and at a level!
And I must give credit to whoever this moderator person is- your rips of *some text missing* are quite hilarious!
Jonty — Plymouth, United Kingdom — 21 Nov 2010 at 22:02:04
Guestbook Editor: There are no rips on the CGP Guestbook, Jonty. Only occasional tears.
hi do you have any maths books that include surds and powers?
Skye Sheenan — Dulwich , United Kingdom — 21 Nov 2010 at 19:33:50
Guestbook Editor: We certainly do — you'll find surds and powers in all our Higher Level GCSE Maths books. Be there or b².
Thank you very much CGP for your amazing books - they really helped get me through my GCSE science modules earlier this year. I have ordered the French complete revision guide and I was just wondering if it would be applicable to the IGCSE course, as I noticed that you had a specific book for IGCSE Maths?
Rach — Derbyshire , United Kingdom — 20 Nov 2010 at 15:47:52
Guestbook Editor: Hello! Our French Complete Revision & Practice book covers all the main GCSE exam boards, so it'll contain most of what you need to know for IGCSE. We can't guarantee it'll have everything, though, so check with your teacher if you're in any doubt.
Please can you tell me whether you will be producing Humanities Assessment Papers for KS2? When I click on the KS2 humanities section, nothing happens.
Miranda — London , United Kingdom — 20 Nov 2010 at 08:49:15
Guestbook Editor: We don't have assessment papers as such for KS2 humanities, but we do have Workout books for Geography and History that cover the whole Scheme of Work. Sorry you've had problems finding them on the website — when you click on KS2 Humanities, you should find that Geography and History pop out as separate options.
Hey CGP it's me again i was wondering if you do a revision guide for History that includes the topic Nazi Germany?
Andrew — Wrexham, United Kingdom — 19 Nov 2010 at 18:24:13
Guestbook Editor: All our GCSE History books cover this topic in one form or another, so it's worth asking your teacher which exam board you're studying so that you can get the best possible coverage of your course. In the meantime, you can look at the contents pages of our books online by clicking on the 'See inside this book' option underneath the main description. Pleasing.
Hey CGP I am taking the Business and Communications System GCSE and I was wondering where I can find the resources for these since I can't locate them on the website.
Thanks for your help.
Andrew — Wrexham, United Kingdom — 19 Nov 2010 at 18:17:33
Guestbook Editor: Sorry you've had trouble finding the files for Business & Communication Systems — try clicking here (you might have to choose the 'student' option before you get to the right page). Hope that helps.
This company do exactly what they say they are so friendly, helpful and quick at delivering. The best company I have ever dealt with!!!

Does this GCSE French book cover the Edexcel syllabus?
catherinemurphy-parry — wimborne, United Kingdom — 18 Nov 2010 at 20:53:59
Guestbook Editor: It certainly does. Enjoy!
(Commenting on book BER52, AS-Level Biology Edexcel Revision Guide
I love this book, it's easy to understand, has jokes and is well organised. :)
Avril — Edinburgh, United Kingdom — 18 Nov 2010 at 16:13:29
Guestbook Editor: Yep, it's got everything you could possibly want from a Revision Guide. If only CGP made girl/boyfriends with the same qualities, the world would be a calmer, happier place. We'll look into it.
My science GCSE test was easy now my mum wants me to study KS3 maths uggh pllz make your books a tad only a bit more funny / AND MAYBE ONE DAY I WILL MAKE CGP A MUCH BETTER COMPANY :D CANT CORRECT ME NOW
Sami — London, United Kingdom — 17 Nov 2010 at 18:36:06
Wonderful that you do IGCSE maths - hope you start doing other IGCSE subjects.
JLK — Oswestry, United Kingdom — 17 Nov 2010 at 13:03:51
Ive just done my GCSE test in science a few days ago and i thought it was PIPs considering im in yr 8 :P thx for helping CGP maybe ill make thiscompany better 1DAY
sami — London , United Kingdom — 16 Nov 2010 at 18:34:26
Guestbook Editor: Ah, I love these punctuation tests. Here's my answer: "Thanks for helping — CGP may be ill. Make this company better? One day!" Cryptic stuff, but good to hear your Science exam went well.
Great website. Love the little comments especially "you've been away too long" prompt - very refreshing!! Great products also.
Sheryl Farnworth — Bury, United Kingdom — 15 Nov 2010 at 16:58:02
hi i have a few of your books and they are always helpful. Please though would you be able to include the answers to the questions asked in the revision summaries? Especially in the math workbooks as it would be great to be able to check your answers and know what you're doing right! Thanks
Gabbie — Birmingham , United Kingdom — 14 Nov 2010 at 19:11:18
Guestbook Editor: In our Revision Guides, the 'revision summary' questions are usually based pretty closely on the material in the section, so it should be easy to check your answers by flicking back a few pages. If there's a calculation involved, we generally print the answers at the back. Answers for our Workbooks are usually printed separately — there's more detail about this a few comments down...
heyy these revision books are good they dont bore u out like others they tell the odd joke and make it funny lol i hope i get at least a c in my maths unit 2 edexcel 30% GCSE tomorow
luke popay — bury, United Kingdom — 14 Nov 2010 at 18:28:49
Why don't you publish a mechanics guide for GCSE additional maths? Currently I can only find a statistics one.
Robyn — Belfast, United Kingdom — 13 Nov 2010 at 15:12:49
Guestbook Editor: Sorry — we don't have any books specifically for GCSE Additional Maths. Our Stats books cover the entire Statistics GCSE, but they should still be helpful for the material you're studying.
Do you intend publishing any GCSE photography books? Yesterday would be good and today would be very acceptable. Am buying stacks for my kids and am learning loads by diffusion at the same time. Keep up the good work.
Nicola Beart — Hailsham , United Kingdom — 13 Nov 2010 at 12:32:25
Guestbook Editor: Good to hear that you and the kids are benefiting from the CGP magic. We didn't publish any GCSE photography books yesterday, I'm afraid, and I don't think we're publishing any today. But tomorrow (by which I mean the indefinite future)... who knows?
Why do some of your books not have answers in the back of them, for example, the GCSE Religious Studies workbook?
Kay — Southampton, United Kingdom — 13 Nov 2010 at 11:17:49
Guestbook Editor: We usually print the answers for our Workbooks in separate booklets — this is so that teachers can set work from them without students being tempted to peek in the back (not that you would, we're sure). For books that don't get used in the classroom so much (e.g. our Complete Revision & Practice guides), we include the answers so that you can mark your own work. Hope that answers your question about answers.
Hi CGP. You've said you've got some new books coming out for AS and A2 but... what are they?! Do you have them for computing or media studies (AS and A2). Your books are great! :-)
Kay — Southampton, United Kingdom — 13 Nov 2010 at 11:15:11
Guestbook Editor: Well, our big new range is for AS and A2 Maths (the A2 Edexcel book is out this week, Maths fans). We've got some more exciting stuff on the way for A-Level subjects — keep checking our 'What's New' page for updates as we get them.
I would actually be failing my GCSEs without your books.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Does this revision guide cover the OCR examining board?
Debie Highwood — Welling , United Kingdom — 11 Nov 2010 at 21:48:17
Guestbook Editor: It does indeed — it's suitable for all exam boards, particularly AQA, Edexcel and OCR.
as i have so much intellect maybe just MAYBE one day i will make cgp a more successful company but yet again i could be a doctor or professor as i want to go in the science route but name em a offer and ill let my agent tell you :P CGP ROCKS N PLLLLZZ SAY ''Sami Menelik ROCKS''
Sami — London , United Kingdom — 11 Nov 2010 at 18:40:40
Hi, are there any "complete revision and practice" books for edexcel360 chemistry, biology and physics?
Also, i think your books are great!!!
FERNANDO — Rochester, United Kingdom — 11 Nov 2010 at 18:26:55
Guestbook Editor: Thanks! We don't make Complete Revision & Practice books specifically for Edexcel 360Science at the moment, but the general editions (BHS42, CHS42, PHS42) cover all the major topics you need to know about.
Why oh why do you not have a guide for AQA Mechanics 2, core 3 or core 4 in A2 maths?
Please publish one in the next month or so or I can kiss goodbye to my A level : ' (
Beth Mckendrick — Swindon, United Kingdom — 10 Nov 2010 at 22:07:11
Guestbook Editor: We're working on it! Our AQA A2 Maths Complete Revision & Practice book will cover C3, C4, M2 and S2. It's due out in February — in plenty of time for the summer exams. (In the meantime, our new Edexcel A2 Maths book will be out on Monday.)
As i am soo clever doin GCSEs in yr 8 i know GEET MEE cgp should really have more info in there books even thought they ROCK AND R AWSEOME they could do with a bit more info (Yup still work on ya jokes ;P) i didnt think u would reply n if u do say ''Sami Menelik ROCKS ''
Sami — London , United Kingdom — 10 Nov 2010 at 21:32:00
Guestbook Editor: The intensity of your coolness is almost too much to handle, Sami. My head hurts.
I started using CGP French GCSE book and at first I didn't think that I would be able to master the whole thing but it goes through all of the material with precision and a clear insight into the language and culture :))
Alina — London, United Kingdom — 10 Nov 2010 at 15:33:13
Im in yr 8 doing my gcse on nov the 12th im a bit nervous but to be honest i think CGP rocks with helping children like me in education and i think ill do gud in the test
P.S. make ur jokes more funny :P ( im cooler than the rest )
Sami — London, United Kingdom — 09 Nov 2010 at 22:05:07
Guestbook Editor: Doing GCSEs in Year 8? Get you. Best of luck with the exams. I guess we're not very cool here at CGP — maybe we should start writing our jokes in textspeak for ultimate roflolz?
Do you do books for the range of books for futher maths? ie FP1 FP2 FP3 M3
James — Leicester , United Kingdom — 09 Nov 2010 at 18:04:18
Guestbook Editor: No Further Maths books on the cards at the moment, I'm afraid. Our new Complete Revision & Practice books will cover AS and A2 Maths — you can buy the Edexcel AS book now, in fact, with A2 arriving very, very soon.
When will the OCR A2 maths be out and do you have anything on OCR decision mathematics 1?
G Hardy — Sunderland, United Kingdom — 08 Nov 2010 at 14:23:23
Guestbook Editor: The OCR versions of our new AS and A2 Maths Complete Revision & Practice guides will be out in March — there'll be separate editions for OCR A and OCR MEI. Plus, all the new AS books will cover the Decision Maths module D1. Hot diggity!
So excited for A2 maths but will it include further pure modules?
Lindsey — London, United Kingdom — 07 Nov 2010 at 22:06:51
Guestbook Editor: It is very exciting, isn't it? The A2 books will cover the C3, C4, M2 and S2 modules, so no Further Maths at the moment. But they're still thumpingly huge, ridiculously useful books.

Great book, very helpful.
I think the answer given for the vector/cosine rule question about 'Queen Mary Tugboats' (page 49) is wrong. I may be mistaken, but I don't think so.
Eric Baines — Cranbrook, Kent , United Kingdom — 07 Nov 2010 at 18:44:13
Guestbook Editor: Great to hear you've found the book useful. We've checked the Tugboats question, and we're pretty sure the answer's right — let us know if you need more detail. (Remember that θ isn't the angle inside the triangle...)

i think these books are really good.

My GCSE exams for English Language, Maths and Science are next week. It's going to be an excellent week...I can't wait *cough*. Though I'm sure it's going to be worth it in the end. Your books have been very helpful; in fact I've got the GCSE AQA ANTHOLOGY STUDY GUIDE in front of me now. Thanks for your kind, caring and sometimes humourous approach to revision. If I come out in January with A*-C then I'll have you people to thank; and probably my parents and teachers. Maybe CGP should stand for inCredibly Great People. Okay, maybe that's a little weird. Thanks again. Oh, do you have any last minute revision tips?
P.S. Did I use the semi-colon correctly?
Tom — Rochester, United Kingdom — 07 Nov 2010 at 12:10:31
Guestbook Editor: Ah, the semi-colon is a subtle beast, but yours look fine to me (cue a flood of protest from irate English teachers). Not sure about your spelling of 'humorous', though. All the best with your exam-packed week — we'd recommend plenty of sleep, a couple of spare pens and an indefatigable spirit of academic courage in the face of adversity.
HI i love science KS2 'The Important Bits' Its great i've got yr 6 sats in may so i think i will get a good mark!!! Thank You CGP Books!!! xx

My dad first found your books while we were on vacation in England. He still likes to read them. I love using them to help me study; they are so funny. Could you try to sell them in the US, for the Advanced Placement tests? That would be SO much better than our selections here.
Thebs — Bellbrook , United States of America — 04 Nov 2010 at 01:16:04
Guestbook Editor: Brilliant to hear we've got some fans over in the States. Well, two fans, at least. Most of our books are written to match UK courses at the moment, but if you find them useful for studying, we're happy to deliver them to any country in the world — you can order from this website! (Thanks for the semi-colon, by the way. We like a good bit of advanced punctuation.)

Your books are amazing! I understand my science - edexcel - very well! By the way do you have any practice papers that I can do online as I already brought a pack of practice papers but I just wanted to do some more exam styled questions online!
tanvir — london, United Kingdom — 02 Nov 2010 at 19:46:04
Guestbook Editor: It's great to see such enthusiasm for exam preparation, but we don't have any online practice papers at the moment, I'm afraid. We're always looking into ways of expanding our online and digital products, though, so we'll keep your idea in mind. Thanks!
Your books got me through my GCSEs, hopefully they'll get me through my A-levels too. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Karol — Norwich , United Kingdom — 02 Nov 2010 at 19:45:37
I find your book really helpful for AS maths but i was wondering if you have a book for A2 maths as I have an exam in January and think it would help me a lot.
Carys — Watford, United Kingdom — 02 Nov 2010 at 11:11:18
Guestbook Editor: Yes, indeed — we've got a huge range of new Complete Revision & Practice books for AS and A2 Maths coming very soon. The Edexcel versions will be available in mid-November (only two weeks to wait!), with editions for other exam boards due in early 2011. They. Are going to. Be. Awesome.
Are you planning to make books for Pre-U subjects?
Isam B — Ilford , United Kingdom — 01 Nov 2010 at 17:47:47
Guestbook Editor: No plans at the moment — sorry.
