Are there any plans for books for the IB? There aren't many, if any, decent guides for the IB and many people are in desperate need for some! Certainly a gap in the market here!

Liam — London , United Kingdom — 30 Jan 2012 at 17:51:28

Will you make AQA English Level 1/2 Certificate? I really do need them :{{{
Plus igcse books. And do you have any CIE books?

Johnson — x, United Kingdom — 30 Jan 2012 at 10:58:21

Guestbook Editor: Sorry — we're not planning to make any AQA IGCSE English Level 1/2 books at the moment. But you'll find Revision Guides and Workbooks (CIE and Edexcel) in our IGCSE Maths section. Enjoy!

Hello... I have a Chemistry exam on Wednesday and your book taught me about the biosphere because my teacher forgot to... Also I had haggis for tea on Friday

Charlie — Stourbridge, United Kingdom — 29 Jan 2012 at 17:47:02

Guestbook Editor: Excellent — we don't get enough haggis on the CGP Guestbook. Not nearly enough.

Knisha — london, United Kingdom — 29 Jan 2012 at 13:45:27

Will AS/A2 Economics (Edexcel) guides be available any time in the future? if so appropriately what month?

Bob — London , United Kingdom — 28 Jan 2012 at 23:45:26

Guestbook Editor: We don't have plans to make any A-Level Economics books in the immediate future, I'm afraid. But we're coming up with new additions to our range all the time...

Hi there! I ordered some books yesterday and I was just wondering if there is any way of me being able to track the progress of my order such as has it been dispatched, where is etc?

Rui Pereira — Southend-on-Sea , United Kingdom — 23 Jan 2012 at 22:20:35

Guestbook Editor: Hello! If you placed your order before 5pm, we'll have dispatched it First Class the same day — it should be with you very soon indeed. We pride ourselves on our quick service, so we don't offer order-tracking as such, but you can always contact our Customer Services team with any questions.

Omg just tried them before I had a history test there amazing they saved my life I have hope again thank u

this book is sick and really easy

arsenal — london , United Kingdom — 22 Jan 2012 at 21:19:48

Hi CGP. Just wanted to say how much I love your books. I love them so much that I have made 2 orders today for at least 6 different books. I've ordered so many today that I have lost count. I'm so excited about their arrival that I might just have a pizza for tea tonight. All my teachers talk about at school is how great your books are. Well, that and the stuff we need to know to pass our GCSE's. I just wanted to know where do you get all your ideas for your books from?

Joao Pereira — Southend-on-Sea, United Kingdom — 22 Jan 2012 at 18:00:04

Guestbook Editor: Hello! The ideas for our books come from the highly creative and intelligent CGP team, who spend their days mentally conceptualising learning objectives in ten-dimensional space-time. (Then they study the exam specifications really closely to make sure that we've included everything you need for top grades, but that's not quite as glamorous.) We eat a lot of pizza to keep ourselves calm.

do these book really help ????
all my friends have tried them and they say that they don't help at all is this true ??
thanks

chloe louise — kings lynn, United Kingdom — 22 Jan 2012 at 13:25:32

Guestbook Editor: Well, we like to think that our books are very helpful — we certainly put a lot of time and attention into making sure they cover everything you need. It seems that quite a few people on the CGP Guestbook have found them life-savingly useful...

wow these books have saved my life i love reading them!!!!!!!

alex — high wecombe , United Kingdom — 22 Jan 2012 at 08:55:26

These books have saved my life! In some cases they have even replaced teachers completely.
I think that it would be great if they could be added to Apple's education section (today they announced a new textbook section where the books are electronic and interactive. I think that would be great!!).

Loic Verrall — Richmond , United Kingdom — 19 Jan 2012 at 18:10:52

Guestbook Editor: Going electronic and replacing human teachers? This can only end badly — I've seen The Matrix. (Seriously, though — thanks for your comment and your suggestion. We're looking towards the digital future with excitement and educational intent.)

Huge Thanks To CGP for their fantastic books! Used them in Year 6 for my Sats Revision and still use them now, 3 years on. Ordered some KS3 Revision books and they arrived in less than two days, amazing! But I wish you would add more languages as well as French & German :-)

Amy — West Sussex , United Kingdom — 19 Jan 2012 at 16:58:52

Guestbook Editor: More Key Stage 3 languages, eh? That's not a bad idea...

Decided to use KS2 ICT workout books as an activity book for our Yrs 3&4 - they are such a huge success that I have had to take the workbooks in at the end of lessons to make sure my pupils pace themselves - what is more telling Yrs 5&6 want to have them as well.

Naomi Sloane — Guildford , United Kingdom — 19 Jan 2012 at 14:19:29

I have to say a big thank you to the CGP books. I would have not been able to do my Biology, Chemistry or Physics Exams without them. Now I have Maths, Business and French Exams coming up so I have bought the books hopefully they as good as what I expect.

Dolly Walker- Student — Southampton, United Kingdom — 18 Jan 2012 at 17:44:48

Hi, I was wondering if you're going to do a GCSE Computing revision guide? Thanks.

Will — Surrey , United Kingdom — 18 Jan 2012 at 16:53:05

Guestbook Editor: I've had my ear to the ground for the last half hour or so, but I've yet to hear anything definite about GCSE Computing. Sorry — we'll keep you posted if the situation changes. (On the plus side, I now have some soil and a woodlouse in my ear. It's company.)

Hi I just wanted to know when exactly will the AS Level Psychology for AQA A: Student Book (PYTB51) be available as in the date. Many thanks

Shaqy — Liverpool , United Kingdom — 17 Jan 2012 at 20:14:18

Guestbook Editor: Hi! This book is at the printers as we speak, so we're hoping it'll be available before the end of the month. Let's say... 26th January? (UPDATE: It's out now!)

Thrilled to see the DVD options, but disappointed that the teachers on them spoke so fast. Very hard for a child on the autistic spectrum to process when the language is so rapid. Please could you ask them to speak slower, and clearer.

Heather — Herts, United Kingdom — 16 Jan 2012 at 17:06:26

Why isn't there a book for A LEVEL AS AND A2 ENGLISH LITERATURE? Art and philosophy and ethics would be helpful also, infact for all A level subjects !!!
I'm in desperate need :/ !!!!!!!!!!
They need to be created ASAP ...

Lily — London, United Kingdom — 15 Jan 2012 at 17:09:57

Guestbook Editor: Crikey. We'd better get started.

I was just wondering if there are any GCSE OCR Business Studies revision guides as I can't seem to find one? If not are there any plans to produce one in the future?

Aimee — Tidworth , United Kingdom — 15 Jan 2012 at 14:49:39

Guestbook Editor: We don't make a Revision Guide specifically for OCR GCSE Business Studies, but our 'general' book (BUHR43) covers everything on the AQA, Edexcel and OCR courses. There's also a Complete Revision & Practice book (BUHS43) which also includes tons of exam-style questions. Hope that helps.

why is there no gcse classics or a level classics revision guide???

sara — leeds , United Kingdom — 15 Jan 2012 at 12:36:09

Guestbook Editor: Hey, all our Revision Guides are classics, right?

*Silence*

The real answer is that we're working our way through as many subjects as we can, but there are an awful lot out there. Classics hasn't made it to the top of our list yet, I'm afraid.

I love your books, they have helped me since my first SATs in year 2! I'm now in my A2 year and have got your books for hamlet and psychology, however I was very sad that when I came to order one for geography, there wasn't one :( I know you're doing your best to get one done as I've seen that other people have asked for one but pleeeeeease try and get it out for this year! I don't know what I'll do without it!

Amy — Widnes, United Kingdom — 15 Jan 2012 at 01:33:01

heyyy ... love these books so easy to use i'm helping my little brother with his work and my sister helped me with mine (we're all getting stuck in ) :)

georgiaaaa_b — chadwell heath, United Kingdom — 14 Jan 2012 at 12:13:41

Why is there no book for GCSE Sociology?? I need a good one!

Maddy Hepple — Doncaster, United Kingdom — 11 Jan 2012 at 20:23:06

Guestbook Editor: Sorry! We're very busy with other subjects at the moment, but we definitely wouldn't rule out GCSE Sociology in the future.

Hi, Only started using your books this year I home school 2 of my children aged 10 and 11 yrs. These books are great (we think your jokes are very funny!!) The books are much cheaper than anywhere else, but much better in our opinion. Fab service. Will be back later on for next year's books Many thanks, Karen

karen crookshank — paignton, United Kingdom — 11 Jan 2012 at 12:31:07

Thank you so much! I'm now (nearly) at the end of A levels, and have been using CGP since most probably Year 1, thank you so much for all the help over the years, and i will be sad to not use them again.

Sam Hey — Keighley, United Kingdom — 10 Jan 2012 at 15:04:58

Marie — Mitcham, United Kingdom — 09 Jan 2012 at 20:57:52

Any chance of some books for AS Philosophy?

Emily — London , United Kingdom — 09 Jan 2012 at 15:33:18

Guestbook Editor: Nothing planned at the moment, but there's no such word as Kant.

Great website!
Great books!
Great service!
Arrived next day as it says on the tin!
Love the style of tuition. Just like I write and teach my kids.

Love it, love it, love it.

Denese Cloughley — Leatherhead, United Kingdom — 09 Jan 2012 at 10:42:47

I love cgp books but ordering them is too long. Just make sure they are in stock in shops.

Sufyan — Manchester , United Kingdom — 08 Jan 2012 at 17:47:37

Guestbook Editor: We've got over 1000 books in our range, so it's difficult for shops to stock everything, no matter how nicely we ask them. If you need one of our books in a hurry, you can always order directly from us — we'll usually get it delivered to you the next working day.

(Commenting on book SPHS43, GCSE Spanish Complete Revision & Practice with Audio CD (A*-G course)

Love this book, a great help. Worth the money, But was wondering if you could add a little more detail on plurals and adjectives? Just a suggestion. Thankyou!!! Have a good year

Tabitha — Manchester , United Kingdom — 07 Jan 2012 at 14:43:20

i can't see any science b aqa book
i really need it, i don't want science b in context
is science b is available where can you get it?

emily — essex, United Kingdom — 06 Jan 2012 at 21:21:56

Guestbook Editor: As far as I understand it, AQA GCSE Science B is the 'Science in Context' course, which is covered by this Revision Guide. If that's not what you're after, it might be worth checking the name of your course with your teacher, then getting in touch with our Customer Services team for more advice (the email address is at the top of this page).

these books are a good help! but theres so many of them, i think it would be good if you could buy the books in big bulk orders for all the subjects you have to study and get a discount because you've got 10 or more? just a suggestion, so then i'd have all my revision stuff sorted without having to rush to the shops a week before an exam

georgina — cardiff , United Kingdom — 06 Jan 2012 at 18:55:00

I am in year ten and I have purchased English, Maths, Geography, Biology, Chemistry and Physics books. These are very useful as I am at GCSE. I was working at a low level in Geography and these books helped me to get an A* in my test. Brilliant. Although answers in the revision guides may be useful!

Lucy — London , United Kingdom — 06 Jan 2012 at 16:51:07

i am want all your books because i am students well

siciid — dsq, Somalia — 06 Jan 2012 at 07:09:57

Im in year 10 and just bought the GCSE AQA Core Science revision guide and in the book you have put AQA has changed the exam, does this mean i dont have to revise certain things or do i revise the whole book? help please..

Sarah Parker — Cheshire , United Kingdom — 04 Jan 2012 at 15:13:11

Guestbook Editor: Ah, yes. This was a just a tiny last-minute change to the AQA exams. You'll still need to revise everything in the book, it's just that a couple of the Physics topics moved from section 1B to section 1A after we'd printed the books — we've put stickers on the pages that are affected. If you need more detail, just send an email to our friendly customer services team — they'll be happy to help.

I am student using your GCSE math tutorials, which i find very helpful but i have one criticism. The video tutorial exam practice for Edexcel Modular has the questions where you use a calculator which isn't helpful if your unit is non calculator.

Ammye — Mitcham , United Kingdom — 04 Jan 2012 at 14:41:57

Guestbook Editor: Really glad to hear you're finding MathsTutor helpful. There are a few non-calculator exam questions where we've used a calculator just to speed things up — we didn't think it'd be much fun for you to watch us wading through long-but-basic arithmetic. There's a note about this under the 'About' option on the main MathsTutor menu.

A small suggestion: if you could please make the amount of your sample pages (especially for your answer booklets) more please, as the amount you have got now is not enough. Just a suggestion . . .

I would be elated if you did this!

Thanks!!!

Lylii — Nonchester, United Kingdom — 04 Jan 2012 at 14:13:57

I would find it VERY helpful if you could print all the answers in the back of the revision guide? As when trying to look up answers when i help my son, i have to scroll through all the previous section to find them and find it very time consuming! Im referring to the gcse core science revision guide (higher level).Thankyou

Julia — Sometown , United Kingdom — 04 Jan 2012 at 14:12:08

Guestbook Editor: Apologies for any frustration, but our decision not to include the answers in our Revision Guides is a deliberate one. The idea is to encourage students to go back through the book and look up anything they've forgotten. A bit of a hassle for parents, though, we admit...

Lovely books! Used Maths and German GCSE, and now Maths AS level - they're very helpful and amusing (I appreciated the cow page!)

You should do A level German too! They'd be better than the dull school ones :)

Thanks again!

Rach — Tamworth, United Kingdom — 03 Jan 2012 at 17:50:43

Just bought the Maths Tutor DVD they look very interesting......will let you know how I get on with them......not sure what I`m making for tea whatever it is you can bet it will be quick and simple

Tazfaa — Newbury Park , United Kingdom — 03 Jan 2012 at 14:13:01

Guestbook Editor: Quick, simple and tasty... just like our MathsTutor tutorials? With slogan-writing skills like that, I should work in marketing. Er, anyway, hope you enjoy the DVD-ROM — looking forward to hearing what you think.

As usual, a pleasure to visit your website and order your books - simple, clearly set out and always a sense of humour. Happy New Year!

Carole Davies — Maidenhead , United Kingdom — 02 Jan 2012 at 15:49:50

Guestbook Editor: Thanks — happy New Year to you too.

Your GCSE maths cds are fantastic - very clear and understandable - very impressed. I am using them with a very bright year 4 and he is learning so much. The only slight concern I have is the use of the term "borrowing" for subtraction - I feel better to explain it as breaking down, for example, 10 into units etc - could confuse with old sense of borrowing (as I am of the older generation who remembers that and it is not taught that way now you know). Also like the website - easily accessible many thanks

Chris — milton keynes , United Kingdom — 01 Jan 2012 at 16:38:47

I found a spelling mistake in one of your books. What do I do next?

qwerrt — qqswsswwsw , United Kingdom — 01 Jan 2012 at 15:40:28

Guestbook Editor: If you send an email to our Customer Services team explaining where the mistake is (book title and page number), they'll pass it on to our crack team of editors. They'll then make a note to correct the spelling next time the book is updated or reprinted. (They'll also track down the book's proofreader and not let them go home until they've written the word out correctly 500 times on the CGP Blackboard of Shame. We abide by old-fashioned standards around here.)
