Over the years I have bought so many CGP books, they have got me through my exams and they are amazing. There is incredible detail, and for some reason I seem to enjoy working through the different stages and sections of the topics (probably because of the hilarious jokes). Any revising teenagers can relate to these books because of the easy and laid back language used to explain things, and give advice. I LOVE them, please keep up the great work and thank you so much! :D

Lydia — Ealing, London, United Kingdom — 30 May 2012 at 21:21:44

Guestbook Editor: Oh, thank you. We love y'all too, which is why we pour our hearts into making our books so... amazing. It's an emotional experience when we send them off to the printers and out into the world.

Thanks so much- this has really helped me with my tests ( the books and the revision from the website.)

Pixie — Milton Keynes, United Kingdom — 30 May 2012 at 18:29:57

Easy site to navigate, the only thing I couldn't find was a "Search" option - would be useful to help find a specific title

Mike — Taunton , United Kingdom — 30 May 2012 at 16:52:17

Guestbook Editor: We can help you with this... our book search box is tucked into the top-right of our main Books page. Search away.

I have been teaching Geography at the secondary level for quite awhile. I was looking for something to make it exciting again for me--which should transfer to my stucents (all girls high school). It was a combination of the books and the witty repartee that convinced me to purchase - have a lovely summer.

Joanne Meadows — Villa Hills, Kentucky, United States of America — 30 May 2012 at 15:39:48

Your books are so creative and interesting. I am so glad I found you guys. Well done ! I equally want to find out if you have plans for pre-school series. The only one I saw was the reception Maths work out.

Adedolapo Aboaba — Zaria , Nigeria — 30 May 2012 at 14:26:35

Guestbook Editor: Hello — we're not working on any pre-school books at present, but it's something that we might look at doing in the future. In the meantime, we're very pleased to hear that you're finding our current books useful.

I just want to say, Your books are AMAZING.
But just asking, will you be able to publish a GCSE Astronomy revision guide, because I'm doing it as an extra subject in school, Thanks alot.

Zoe — London , United Kingdom — 29 May 2012 at 20:52:06

Guestbook Editor: Thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately, I don't think a GCSE Astronomy Revision Guide is on the cards any time soon — but we're sure you'll be a star student without us.

I really don't know what I would do without CGP books. They make revision somehow enjoyable and they help by using language that we would use (thankfully not all of it though!!) Thank you so much. Keep up the amazing work!

Anonymous — Southport , United Kingdom — 28 May 2012 at 16:48:26

Guestbook Editor: Our main aim in life is to make revision more enjoyable and user-friendly, so it's great to hear that our books are working for you. Spiffing, in fact. (Sorry. Lapsed into a bit of youth slang there.)

I like the revision guides because they have really funny diagrams. We spend half our time trying to work out what they are, but they help us remember the facts. E.g. Conduction- the stupid knight sticking his sword in a bonfire.

Naomi — Framlingham , United Kingdom — 28 May 2012 at 15:03:58

As much as I used the GCSE guides, I've found they don't cover all my subjects. If they brought out one in another subject, I'd suggest Classical Civilisations as there is a lack of resources for someone studying the subject. I will be buying them for my AS-Level courses.

Rhiannon — Oswestry, United Kingdom — 28 May 2012 at 14:07:51

Ordered thousands of CGP revision guides ( a bit exaggerated ) and absolutely pleased with the quality :) ! Hope that CGP will continue to improve and develop in the future!

anon — anon , United Kingdom — 26 May 2012 at 18:43:32

Guestbook Editor: That's exactly what Simon Cowell said when the CGP Jester Troupe auditioned for Britain's Got Talent. Simon Cowell always talks in block capitals. For emphasis.

Do you/Will you cover any more foreign languages? Do you have any language revision guides at AS/A2? Massive fan ;) keep up the good work!

Ryan — Stourbridge , United Kingdom — 25 May 2012 at 20:10:04

Guestbook Editor: We only cover French, Spanish and German at KS3 and GCSE at the moment (brand new KS3 Spanish books are coming soon). A-Level Languages are on the list of things we'd like to do, but we can't offer you anything on this front just yet. Sorry.

When are you going to make IGCSE books, i realy realy need them, becausei have red your gcse books and they are very good and helpful, but i need IGCSE.!

Mortimer Barrantes — Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates — 25 May 2012 at 14:15:54

Guestbook Editor: Well, we've made some IGCSE Maths books already, and we'd love to do more subjects in the future. More news as we get it...

A big thank you for your brilliant books (I love learning with light comedy on the page), your speedy shipping, even though I'm overseas, and your decent prices

Max Bastow — Echenevex, France — 24 May 2012 at 21:00:45

are you going to do a ks3 urdu book? =)

John — hampshire, United Kingdom — 20 May 2012 at 18:10:41

Guestbook Editor: Um, just give me a chance to finish off this IGCSE Origami Revision Guide for Edexcel, then we'll see.

I'd just like to say a huge THANK YOU to the fabulous people at CGP. I honestly doubt I'd get good grades without the help of CGP revision books. Thank you for making revision somehow enjoyable.

Amelia — Doncaster , United Kingdom — 20 May 2012 at 16:49:59

All of your revisioin guides are fantastic, but you do not have one for GCSE systems and control. A revision guide for this subject would be extremely useful as it is hard to know what to revise for certain exam boards. PLEASE could you create one.
thank you

Orin — Worcester, United Kingdom — 20 May 2012 at 15:12:02

I have used your revision guides from Key Stage 1 right up till A-level and they have helped me achieve outstanding results throughout. The humour and layout of the guides really reduce the boredom of revision and makes it so much easier to take in information that any other books. I'm currently studying a masters course in Physics (shame your range doesn't cover up to here). I just wanted to thank you and to say keep up the good work!

Doug — Crewe , United Kingdom — 20 May 2012 at 00:51:08

Guestbook Editor: We will — it's brilliant to hear that our books have helped you throughout your school career.

I am a mum who is homeschooling and would love to see you offer complete curriculum packs. I have ordered one or two to start with but would have ordered entire curriculum pack if there was one on offer....it would have taken me ages to go through and add all the ones i really need !

wendy weiss — wickford , United Kingdom — 19 May 2012 at 07:53:18

My mum bought me KS3 Science- The revision guide. Levels 5-7. I actually love all the the little comments you have put into the book. They just make me giggle. It made having to do revision almost fun. Haha. Thankyou:D

Claire — Flintshire , United Kingdom — 18 May 2012 at 23:12:29

These CGP books are very helpful for my GCSEs and they have enabled me to achieve A * target grades. Thank you.

zach — cardiff , United Kingdom — 18 May 2012 at 21:09:00

Is there ever going to be a study guide for 'Notes from a small island' by Bill Bryson? For the Edexcel AS Language and literature course? For AQA Science in society?
I like the quality of your books and the way they are laid out; it would be a big help for exam success if these existed.

Ed — Nowhere, United Kingdom — 18 May 2012 at 14:52:25

I love CGP books, they are so helpful and also add humour to relieve the stress. I have a Biology, Business Studies and Mathematics GCSE revision guide, but would like more books, but I can't seem to find the catalogue anywhere on this website. Also, there should be a Media Studies GCSE guide! Thanks!

sophie — portsmouth, United Kingdom — 17 May 2012 at 22:21:16

Guestbook Editor: Hi — you'll find an online edition of our latest complete range catalogue here. But! It was printed in summer 2011, and we've made quite a few new books and digital products since then. There'll be an updated catalogue in the next couple of months, but in the meantime, the most up-to-date information is available on this very website.

Finding your books really helpful in preparing for my A-levels... but would it be possible maybe to change the binding so the book will stay open of its own accord?

Katie — Northampton , United Kingdom — 17 May 2012 at 21:07:00

Great books, but you should really make some books for Further Pure modules, at least Edexcel & OCR.

Andrew P. — Cambridge , United Kingdom — 17 May 2012 at 17:43:03

Will love you forever if the revision book arrives tomorrow!

A Mum — Isle of Man , United Kingdom — 17 May 2012 at 16:56:52

Guestbook Editor: We'll do our very best...

Please please pleeeeease make an AS/A2 French revision book!!

(Commenting on book IHR42, GCSE ICT Revision Guide

does this cover the the new specification for the upcoming AQA exams?

kishor — ilford , United Kingdom — 17 May 2012 at 11:39:48

Guestbook Editor: Yep, this covers the AQA GCSE ICT exams up to summer 2013. If you're starting your course in Septemeber 2012, you'll take all the exams at the end of Year 11 — but the material you need to learn will stay the same.

The people at CGP are such bosses - the revision books arrive and they smell really nice - they are colourful and easy to read. I already got an A in my unit 1 maths exam with their revision book. Ordering my 'Of Mice and Men' one now. Respect to the lads and ladettes down at CGP for the high-grade revision guides!

Phillip — Bath , United Kingdom — 16 May 2012 at 22:25:33

Guestbook Editor: Thanks very much (although, strictly speaking, the credit for how nice our books smell should go to our printers, the ever-fragrant Elanders of Tyneside).

thanks cpg!!!! tomorrow is my maths sats papers, so i read all your books. they're so good and helpful!!!!!!!!!!

jassimran — wolverhampton , United Kingdom — 16 May 2012 at 19:08:33

hello, i was just wondering if you will be doing a btec health and social care book? also i am in year 10 and doing business studies and my sister did business studies and she gave her cgp business revision book to me, does the information change and will i need an updated version? thanks for your help!

Hannah — Devon , United Kingdom — 16 May 2012 at 18:13:44

Guestbook Editor: Hello! I don't think there'll be a CGP book for BTEC Health and Social Care in the near future — sorry. The good news is that GCSE Business Studies exams haven't changed since September 2009, so as long as your sister started her course after that, the book you've got should be up to date.

I find these cgp books fabulous because i just had a gcse religious studies exam on tuesday 15th may and i believe i truly did better in this one then the mock because its all thanks to the cgp religious studies book its a great book and so are all the others as it lightens your mood towards revising
and i'd just like to say that those quotes in there were super duper useful
i hope i get a good grade preferably an A* as its my target grade

Best Revision Books, Just Need:

Osman Ali — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 14 May 2012 at 12:03:12

I love the CGP books as I find them very informative. I have the KS2 Science book, The CGP practice questions and the KS3 Science book (I am doing SATS next week so I only had the KS3 for an extra challenge. I think you could work with revisewize to make it interesting as In our school, when we watch it, it is quite boring and dull. Thanks.!!!

Lexi Starr — Hayes, United Kingdom — 13 May 2012 at 19:29:16

this web is brill with all the revision ive done on this web hopefully monday the 14th i will pass my sats exam

aleema — halifax, United Kingdom — 13 May 2012 at 19:06:05

Guestbook Editor: Thank you — good luck!

Good books but need GCSE sociology

Sally — London , United Kingdom — 13 May 2012 at 16:19:47

aleema — halifax, United Kingdom — 13 May 2012 at 11:54:39

Your revision guides have all helped me with my GCSE revision however there are many areas which could be improved on. Firstly it would be better if each revision guide was based on the specifications of the exam boards so that it contains all the necessary detail and nothing else especially all the jokes and 'light-hearted' comments. These make the pages too full with unnecessarily words which stop us from leaning the specifics for the exam as the entire purpose of the books is to help us achieve well in our exams. If I wanted to laugh at jokes I would buy a joke book...

james — Grimsby , United Kingdom — 12 May 2012 at 20:41:12

Guestbook Editor: Hello! Good to hear that our books have helped with your revision. Our Revision Guides are definitely based on the exam board specifications — we scour through them thoroughly to make sure we've included everything you need to know. We think of the jokes as an optional extra to help you digest all the cold, hard facts. Like taking a sip of hot chocolate when you're crunching a mouthful of ice cubes.

This book is amazing! The SATs are coming up and CGP Study Book Science has helped me a lot. Also, before I read it, I didn't understand forces. Now I do!
Thanks a billion CGP!!!

Isabella — Valencia , United Kingdom — 12 May 2012 at 15:59:11

I love CGP books. My headteacher says they are the best as well! I enjoy reading the KS3 revision guides for my SATS tests next week, even though I am only in Year 6 primary school.

Annabel — Warrington , United Kingdom — 11 May 2012 at 19:34:29

i find these books really useful so i have ordered more to help me with my GCSEs!

Worst website I've seen, a disgrace to this world and it should be banned.

Augustus — Kampala, Uganda — 09 May 2012 at 17:58:22

Guestbook Editor: But the Guestbook's good, right?

I love these books, they simplify complicated theories and make them easier to understand, I LOVE THESE BOOKS. =D An AS student going onto A2.

Rabia — Tenby, United Kingdom — 09 May 2012 at 17:36:04

I'm studying in my spare time at work, so bought a handful of books to boost my knowledge in science and maths as i'm planning on going to uni in the next 3 years as part of my grandmaster plan :)

Quentin — London , United Kingdom — 09 May 2012 at 13:28:31

Guestbook Editor: Sounds like an excellent scheme — good luck with the studying.

As a parent these books have made supporting my children's revision stress free. the facts are clearly set out and the test books give the children experience of answering exam questions.

Pip lenton — lancaster , United Kingdom — 08 May 2012 at 20:33:40

When something is out of stock it would be great if there was an option to e-mail me when it is back in stock.

robin stones — kendal , United Kingdom — 07 May 2012 at 12:53:20

Guestbook Editor: That's a good idea. We've been looking at the way we list out of stock books recently, so we'll add that to the list of suggestions. In the meantime, if you send an email to our customer services team, they'll be happy to drop you a note when the book you need is back in stock.

Love your books - any chance of a Latin revision guide anytime soon?

Amy — Leicester, United Kingdom — 06 May 2012 at 17:35:42

Hi, I was looking for a Psychology GCSE (AQA) revision guide and I can't find one... any ideas where I could get one??

Thanks :)

James — Essex , United Kingdom — 03 May 2012 at 21:06:20

Guestbook Editor: There's no CGP Revision Guide for GCSE Psychology at the moment, sadly, although it's something we might well look at doing in the future. In the meantime, a quick search with your online bookseller of choice might bring up some alternative options...

I love your books except I see you don't have a product design A level guide when I really need one of those!

Jack — Blob, United Kingdom — 03 May 2012 at 17:28:44

Love your products! The site however is a little dated especially the shop.

Liz — cwmbran, United Kingdom — 02 May 2012 at 23:37:10

Hi, I'm not sure, but there may be a spelling mistake in the GCSE Edexcel 360science Extension Science revision guide. On page 2 about Microorganisms and Food, in the section about Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) it says that glutamic acid is produced by the bacterium "Corynebacterium glutamicum". Could it possibly be "glutamicium" instead? Thanks, I just need this clearing up.

Peter — Morecambe , United Kingdom — 02 May 2012 at 21:17:55

Guestbook Editor: Hello — we'd be happy to clear up your bacterium query. We've checked the Edexcel 360Science GCSE Biology specification, and it seems that their preferred spelling is "glutamicum" (as we've spelt it in the book). This is what the examiners will be expecting, so stick with this, we reckon. Hope that helps.

Does your 'GCSE History Modern World History complete Revision & Practice' book cover enough detail for me to get A grades.

Just wondering.

Oliver — Noakes , United Kingdom — 02 May 2012 at 15:19:04

Guestbook Editor: Yes, it should do — but it depends a bit on which exam board you're with and which topics you're studying. We'd recommend checking the contents pages to make sure everything you need is covered. You can also look through sample pages to admire the level of detail on offer. Enjoy.

Hi! Your books are the best. They are a bit expensive though. I need to buy a whole bunch of CGP books for my GCSE's, so could you please lower the prices a bit. PLEASE!!!

Habib — Manchester, United Kingdom — 01 May 2012 at 20:41:42

I completely love your revision guides- the one thing I miss about GCSE's is my revision guides, so I guess I'll just have to buy more now my AS exams are coming up! Everyone I know says that they are the best.

Elizabeth — Winchester , United Kingdom — 01 May 2012 at 20:31:05

Guestbook Editor: Thanks!

Nobody does it better

(Help you prepare for a test)

Nobody does it quite like CGP

Baby, they're the best

*Runs away from Carly Simon's lawyers*

Hi thanks a lot for your great range of books! However, when I was trying to choose what books I need to order for the sciences, R.E. and P.E. I was really struggling with which books I needed because you have so many! So I'd really appreciate it if you had something like an online advisor, or maybe just a help page, as it would save people lots of time!
Thank you very much :)

Sophie — Wigan , United Kingdom — 01 May 2012 at 18:49:36

Guestbook Editor: Sorry to hear you had some trouble finding the books you need — those GCSE ranges can get pretty complex, especially Science. We don't have a 24-hour online advisor at the moment, but our friendly customer services team is here between 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday–Friday, and you can send them an email any time for a quick reply. Hope you found what you wanted in the end.
