I think that this is a good book because people can practice at home but it doesn't tell you the answers on the book

Emily — southall, United Kingdom — 25 Feb 2013 at 16:31:39

Guestbook Editor: Ah, yes, that's true. The answers to this (and the answers to Books 2 and 3) are in a separate book — this one, in fact.

Hi, my friend and I really like your books! Please could you definitely consider doing a Julius Caesar GCSE English Literature study guide? It would be really really useful!!

Student — Cheltenham , United Kingdom — 24 Feb 2013 at 16:57:17

I lost my math IGCSE book :-(

Luke Hince — St Peter Port, United Kingdom — 21 Feb 2013 at 17:47:31

it will be necessary to know the expected date of delivery. thank you.

stephen iwu — erith , United Kingdom — 21 Feb 2013 at 11:38:56

Guestbook Editor: We aim to provide next-day delivery for all orders in the UK, so if you ordered from us on Thursday, your books should reach on Friday. Enjoy.

How many roads must a man walk down before you can call him a man?

Bob D. — New York, United States of America — 20 Feb 2013 at 14:42:40

Guestbook Editor: The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind. And the answer is fourteen. Exactly fourteen roads. Cul-de-sacs don't count.

Just browsed through selection of your GCSE and A2 revision guides (English & Psychology respectively). 1 thing which strikes me immediately - the trademark 'chatty' style is great for younger age students (eg primary school level and maybe Years 9-11 at Secondary) but at A2 level it could come across as just a little bit too casual (ie not taking things seriously enough) and for bright, high achieving students, it may be seen as almost patronising. This style needs to go I think for A2 & AS Level texts - it's simply inappropriate.

Hey, cgp should do standup! Maybe like a school uk tour or something haha.

Abdul — southampton , United Kingdom — 18 Feb 2013 at 22:32:53

Hi, I adore your books! :) I just wondered if you will be making your amazing apps available on android phones any time soon, please? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, and keep up the great work! :) xoxoxo

Sad Android phone user — Samsung Galaxy S3 , United Kingdom — 16 Feb 2013 at 18:34:44

Guestbook Editor: Making Android-compatible versions of our Apps is definitely on our list of Digital Things To Do... but not right at the top of the list. So we're hoping it'll happen, but it might not be for a while. We'll keep you posted.

When I travelled to England over Christmas, I picked up a GCSE Revision Guide for French, and a GCSE Revision for Chemistry book. We don't take GCSE's here, but they have helped me so much! I take my chemistry book with me to school, and having a different perspective really has helped me understand these subjects better! I would highly recommend these books to any of my friends.

Amy — Yucaipa , United States of America — 16 Feb 2013 at 05:15:14

these books are rubbish. made me fail my OWLS and NEWTS. Honestly. Hagrids a better teacher than you

harry potter — hogwarts , United Kingdom — 15 Feb 2013 at 13:49:12

Guestbook Editor: Funny you should say that — Hagrid works for CGP now that the Harry Potter saga is over. He's got plenty of leftfield teaching experience, and his beard is really useful for storing things in.

All the IGCSE science and Maths books are good but are there gonna be any English ones? (English is really hard)

munfuguloo — town , United Kingdom — 15 Feb 2013 at 09:10:17

Guestbook Editor: Sorry... we've got no plans for IGCSE English (that I know of) at the moment.

In response to an earlier comment from bkgkjm - jgjh - I think you're simply wrong. The CGP Guest Book Editor is simply the best around and I'm sure there's a lot of us who feel this way. I would like to know more about him / her and a photograph would be simply splendid.

Slightly Perturbed — Sutton Coldfield , United Kingdom — 14 Feb 2013 at 21:30:44

Guestbook Editor: Oh, um, thanks. Let's see... I'm Pisces, I drive a red car and it's fair to say that I am actually quite stupid and unfunny a lot of the time. I was also born in Sutton Coldfield... coincidence?

who comes up with the funny jokes at the bottom of the page?? they are hilarious!! always makes revsion more fun and enjoyable

kateefa — town , United Kingdom — 14 Feb 2013 at 16:25:34

Guestbook Editor: The truth hurts.

Nalayini Maheswaran — Eastham, United Kingdom — 14 Feb 2013 at 13:17:58

Does the CGP AS buisness revision guide for AQA exam have everything you need to know about the two units? I got told it doesn't cover everything. Can you confirm whether or not it does. Many Thanks

RJ — belfast, United Kingdom — 13 Feb 2013 at 16:24:33

Guestbook Editor: We can confirm that it does! All our syllabus-specific books are carefully written to match everything on the specification. It's worth bearing in mind that it's a Revision Guide rather than an in-depth textbook, so we don't always go into masses of detail on every point. Hope that helps.

Such an easy website to use - have used it for years. and we are having paella for tea :-)

mrs mcbride — preston , United Kingdom — 13 Feb 2013 at 12:28:56

Any chance of creating a revision guide fer OCR GCSE biblical hebrew. There aren't any available currently

elliot strauss — london , United Kingdom — 12 Feb 2013 at 18:09:08

Guestbook Editor: We'll be honest with you... it's very unlikely. Sorry.

I think your video tutorials for maths is absolutely brilliant it is a massive shame that you don't have any tutorials for any other GCSE subjects e.g. Additional Science, Core Science. I think that if you had video tutorials for other subjects I think that I will have a much better understanding of certain subjects, I suggest this because before I purchased your maths video tutorial I was struggling with certain things in maths. But since, I've been flying through my maths getting higher marks than my predicted marks. To sum up, from a customers point of view I think you should create more video tutorials. If you do have some available, would it be possible that you would let me know where to purchase them.

Ethan Sutton Davies — Aberdare , United Kingdom — 12 Feb 2013 at 15:33:45

Guestbook Editor: Thanks very much — it's great to hear that the MathsTutor videos have helped you out so much. We'd love to make video tutorials for other subjects, but we can't confirm when and if they'll be available at the moment.

Why can't all businesses be as friendly efficient and cost effective as you???? Many thanks for your superb products and outstanding service.
Long may it continue!!

Ruth Hickman — Otley , United Kingdom — 12 Feb 2013 at 14:59:08

I love your books and my school heavily recommends us to buy them. Is there any chance of there being a GCSE Geography book for the WJEC exam board?! Nobody seems to do them! :)

Ryan — Anon, United Kingdom — 11 Feb 2013 at 09:22:58

Guestbook Editor: Good to hear you've been enjoying the books. But we don't have anything planned for WJEC GCSE Geography at present, I'm afraid.

As a student I loved CGP books. Always made revising a little more interesting. It is no surprise that I have enjoyed using your books during lessons as a trainee teacher. The students love the pictures and entertaining comments :)

Suzi-J — Belfast, United Kingdom — 10 Feb 2013 at 16:11:39

The A2 revision guide has been great but will there be an A2 edexcel geography revision guide out soon?

Jo — Bristol , United Kingdom — 10 Feb 2013 at 12:40:09

Guestbook Editor: It's unlikely at the moment, I'm afraid. Sorry!

(Commenting on book MAHW4M, GCSE Maths AQA A (Modular) Workbook (including Answers) - Higher

There are no answers in this Work book and CGP do not advertise a seperate answer book.

Sarah Burke — King's Lynn , United Kingdom — 09 Feb 2013 at 11:40:09

Guestbook Editor: Ah, this is slightly complicated...

This version of our AQA A GCSE Maths Workbook (MAHW4M) does include answers, but schools can also buy the Workbook (MAHW43) and Answer Book (MAHA43) separately. It sounds as if you've ended up with the wrong edition, but I'll pass you message on to our customer services team to see if they can be of further assistance.

Just ordered KS2 English SATs range for 10yr old who is unhappy at the level her teacher has put her at. Do you think she'll use the books when they arrive? Pigs might fly!

MissusG — London , United Kingdom — 08 Feb 2013 at 17:21:53

Ordered Foundation Level GCSE Maths DVD for KS3 boy with zilch confidence and it has worked wonders! Thank you!

Maddy — Oxford , United Kingdom — 08 Feb 2013 at 12:41:35

Guestbook Editor: Pleased to hear it — all those hours our Maths tutors spent shut in a small room talking to themselves were well spent. Although none of them have been quite the same since...

Laxman — London, United Kingdom — 06 Feb 2013 at 19:36:12

Guestbook Editor: That's a good find — some of those books are probably collectors' items by now. Get David Dickinson on the phone, we would.

i love cgp books because they help you learn stuff

sarah green — sunderland, United Kingdom — 04 Feb 2013 at 08:23:16

Guestbook Editor: Exactly!

love the books but the website could be better. also it would be good to be able to get a sneak preview at whats inside each book before buying. maybe just the first few pages

lulu — sheffield, United Kingdom — 03 Feb 2013 at 19:55:55

Guestbook Editor: Good idea... but wait! You *can* get a sneak preview of almost all our books — just click on the 'See inside this book' link below the main description.

why is there nothing on emerging markets?? Seems a very small a2 section to say its the biggest unit?

joe bousfield — bradforrd , United Kingdom — 03 Feb 2013 at 11:51:28

Hi CGP! I love your books! My shelf is overspilling with how many I've got! I was wondering are you going to be publishing a Mister Pip book (with little study notes) & a text guide anytime soon (eg for this summer of next summer's exams?) because I found the Great Expectations one really useful and I really need a Mister Pip one? There are NO Mister Pip revision books at all ANYWHERE! I'd love it if you were the first! Please please pretty please! Love you all :) xxx

Me — Surrey , United Kingdom — 01 Feb 2013 at 20:44:48

Guestbook Editor: You really shouldn't love us all. We're terrible, terrible people.

Only joking — we're all lovely, really. Unfortunately, I don't think we're planning a Mr Pip Text Guide or Study Edition at the moment, so I don't want to falsely give you any... Great Expectations.

Sorry. It's Monday morning.

First time I ordered material from CGP and how pleased I am with the service. I ordered Maths and English books 3pm. on Thursday and my order arrived here in N. Ireland the very next morning Unbelievable! Well done CGP and the much maligned Post Office. Efficient wouldn't be a good enough word. Thank you so much.

An excellent service! Books ordered Thursday morning, arrived Friday morning.
