I ordered 4 GCSE revision/workbooks on the 26th Feb and they arrived before 10am on the 27th. Thank you for such a great service. I thanked the delivery driver and he responded by saying ‘that’s what Fedex do’ made me smile??

Fabulous books. I'm using the KS2 Geography at the moment and its perfect - brilliant for what I want. Love your sense of humour too. Always makes me smile.

I love that you have a guestbook, and I love the comments! Okay, here goes: re Mathematics for GCSE & IGCSE Higher level for the grade 9-1. P2, exercise 1 part 2, f.
I think there is a mistake in this book. The answer given on p384 is 2/3 but, using BODMAS, the answer should be -1/2.
I sent an email but please ignore it. This is way more fun! (Also I'm embarrassed. My first page of my first GCSE maths work in 30 years. I MUST be wrong, but I can't work out how!)
Gill — Northwich, United Kingdom — 26 Feb 2018 at 20:24:43
Guestbook Editor: Glad to hear you love the guestbook! You don't have anything to be embarrassed out — the short note about BODMAS is a bit too short to tell you everything you need. Addition and subtraction actually have the same priority, so if there aren't any brackets, you work through the + and - terms from left to right. In this case:
5 - 6 + 7 = -1 + 7 = 6
You've worked it out as 5 - 6 + 7 = 5 - 13 = -8, which is completely understandable. We'll add a note to the next edition to make it clearer. Have fun tackling the rest of the book!
i wrote out my revision i need to do for this week... it took up 2 and a half a4 pages... please put me in a good mood so i can do this!!!!!!!!! make me happy :(

Guestbook Editor: "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun," as a great philosopher once said. If you can't find the element of fun in revision, you probably just need more CGP books in your life. It's the answer to most problems.
Could you please add Dutch books?
Thank You very much,
Susan L. — washington, United Kingdom — 26 Feb 2018 at 09:34:08
Guestbook Editor: It's unlikely at the moment, we're afraid — there are a few other languages in the queue before we'll get to Dutch.
The study books are too crammed full and nobody can concentrate. It is not clear. Only sixteen of my class of thirty like the books. Anyhow, I totally can NOT believe that the KS1's teacher think they are the best in the world.

How do I find the answer booklet for the ks2 maths study book section 2?
James — London, United Kingdom — 25 Feb 2018 at 11:26:57
Guestbook Editor: Do you mean this KS2 Maths Study Book? If so, you'll find the answers for Section 2 on page 104.
Hi thanks for all the banter you slide into your revision guides. It makes a-level biology and a-level chemistry a little bit less painful for me.
Janye — Oxford, United Kingdom — 24 Feb 2018 at 22:24:57
So, currently, I have finished studying, I didn't realise how much time had gone past, it had been nine+ hours.
I was studying with every CGP book I own.
Thanks a lot guys, I missed dinner.
I missed takeout...

What was the first cgp book ever made?
Jack — Townsend, United Kingdom — 22 Feb 2018 at 20:52:42
Guestbook Editor: That'd be the first edition of our GCSE Maths Intermediate Level Revision Guide. A rare and collectable classic!
Historical note: Around the turn of the 21st century, there was a brief period when you could take GCSE Maths at three levels — Foundation, Intermediate and Higher. And you weren't allowed to take a smartphone into the exams because they hadn't been invented yet.
I would like to ask, what is difference between MHN43G book and MHN43D book?
Thank you very much
Martina — Luton, United Kingdom — 21 Feb 2018 at 12:00:00
Guestbook Editor: Hi — MHN43G and MHN43D are identical digital products. The only difference between the 'G' and 'D' versions is how you receive the access code...
If you choose MHN43G, you'll receive your code printed on a plastic card, which we'll send to you by post. Useful if, for example, you're ordering multiple copies to hand out to a whole class of students.
With MHN43D, we'll email the code to you as soon as you've placed your order, so you can start using the product straight away.
As usual CGP make everything so easy with fantastic customer service - thank you

For some strange reason, the revision thing with the dead professor is no longer working. I am lost without my bible, please help.....
Evangeline — Camberley , United Kingdom — 20 Feb 2018 at 09:10:32
Guestbook Editor: The revision thing with the dead professor? We don't know what you mean. Please help...
UPDATE: Ah, we think you mean the copy of "Prof. Gunning's Erudite Course of Fact Retrieval" that's included in your CGP Online Library.
It's probably stopped working because your browser has started blocking Flash Player. You can get around this by logging into your CGP Online Library in Chrome, then clicking on the green text to the left of the address bar. From the menu that appears, choose the drop-down menu next to "Flash" and select "Always allow on this site." (You might need to refresh the page afterwards.) Easy! Ish.
If you're still having problems, just drop us an email — the address is at the top of this page.
well hello there, my teacher ripped out my answers so therefore i cannot cheat or get help with my answers
emily richards — bristol, United Kingdom — 20 Feb 2018 at 09:01:57
Guestbook Editor: Sad times. But remember — the answers won't be included at the back of the real exam*, so your teacher is just thoughtfully preparing you for the full assessment experience.
* Unless your exam board has made a horrible printing error. But that never hardly ever happens.
I am a 58 year old immature student studying Modern languages with the open university (Spanish). I use the GCSE Spanish revision guide as a handy reference and as an enjoyable learning resource. Wish we had CGP books around in the 1970's! . well done to all concerned!

igcse chem revision questions at the end of each chapter..of revision guide. where are the answers please?...
aaron — al khobar, Saudi Arabia — 17 Feb 2018 at 14:20:34
Guestbook Editor: Hello — these revision summary questions test you on the sections you've just been learning, so you'll find the answers by flicking back through the book. (The questions are usually in the same order as the content.)

Can you please add more options to the aqa books one notable exclusion is america 1920-72.

in the aqa biology practice workbook on page 56 the warm up states that muscles respire aerobically resulting in an oxygen debt. i think you meant anaerobically.
john doriss — luton, United Kingdom — 16 Feb 2018 at 11:54:12
Guestbook Editor: Yes, I think we meant that too — we'll get that corrected. Thanks!
Could you make the protective covers of some of your books stronger? For example, for the Edexcel Chemistry GCSE 9-1 Student book, the cover peels off very easily and for some of the books I had to take off the whole cover. However, the interior of your books are great and are very helpful
Sandra — Hertford, United Kingdom — 16 Feb 2018 at 09:27:27
Guestbook Editor: Sorry you're having problems with your covers. They definitely shouldn't peel off so easily, so if you'd like to arrange some replacement copies, just get in touch with our customer services team.
(Commenting on book PETB41, New Grade 9-1 GCSE Physics for Edexcel: Student Book with Online Edition
Hi CGP, at the back of the Edexcel Physics 9-1 GCSE student book, there is a typo at the back - it should be 'avoid' instead of 'avod'.
Lucy — Surrey, United Kingdom — 15 Feb 2018 at 17:05:11
Guestbook Editor: This is actually an example of CGP's sophisticated wit, not a typo (although admittedly it's sometimes hard to tell the difference). The full phrase is "Avod drect contact wth i's"...
Any chance you could make an additional maths practice book? It would be really helpful if you did
Jasmine — Surrey, United Kingdom — 15 Feb 2018 at 07:21:01
Can you do a book for GCSE Photography or GCSE Psychology?
Thomas — Bolton, United Kingdom — 13 Feb 2018 at 20:08:33
Guestbook Editor: It's unlikely we'll be making a book on photography (which is one of the options within GCSE Art and Design) — we mainly focus* on subjects with written exams at the moment. We'd like to cover GCSE Psychology one day, but it's not on the cards just yet.
Hi CGP, I really enjoy your books and I have quite a collection of them! However, one book that I feel is missing is an FSMQ Additional Maths workbook. I have your Complete Revision & Practice and it's definitely helped me a lot, and it would be even better if there was a workbook with lots of practice questions. Thank you.

Hi guys will you guys be planning on making CGP revision guide media studies GCSE please let me know if u guys are
Armaan — Manchester, United Kingdom — 13 Feb 2018 at 00:57:34
Guestbook Editor: A GCSE Media Studies Revision Guide is a definite possibility... but we can't say more than that at the moment, I'm afraid.
I have been a loyal fan of the CGP collection since I began my GCSEs in the September of 2016. In all this time you have not yet failed me, until today, when I began to work my way though the 9-1 Chemistry Edexcel GCSE exam practice workbook and noticed there were no answers in the back.
At first I was merely flummoxed, until it occurred to me there would likely be a free PDF online- 'CGP has not let me down thus far, and surely would not dare to now' I thought.
Alas, I was wrong.
CGP did fail me- these pitiful English words cannot wholly encapsulate the feeling of utter disappointment and disgust that consumed me when I went online to find only that I would have to pay an extra £2 to get my answers.
My only question is why - why would you, CGP, my favourite and most trusted source of textbooks, lead me to believe I would only have to pay £4.95 when I would in fact have to pay £6.95 for the entire learning experience? Why would you trick me out of my £2 in such a cruel and senseless manner?
I eagerly await your swift reply.
Charlotte — London, United Kingdom — 12 Feb 2018 at 21:59:58
Guestbook Editor: We're sorry for any disappointment. We talked a bit about our Answer Books for GCSE Maths a few posts further down this page, and it's a similar situation here. We created our Edexcel GCSE Science Exam Practice Workbooks with schools in mind, so we kept the answers separate to allow teachers to set work from them without giving the answers away.
It's a tricky balance, but we always do our best to make it clear in our product descriptions (on the CGP website and other shopping sites) when answers are sold separately. No trickery intended.
The GSCE maths buster was brilliant any chance you can do an A level version.
green — hampshire, United Kingdom — 12 Feb 2018 at 17:53:26
Guestbook Editor: We'll be honest — A-Level MathsBuster is unlikely for the time being. But it's great to hear you liked the GCSE version.
Do you have any plans on making a gcse 9-1 citizenship book ?
Kerry — HARLOW, United Kingdom — 11 Feb 2018 at 21:09:39
Guestbook Editor: Nothing in the pipeline at the moment — sorry!
I think that it is a stupid idea to sell the answers separately from the workbook
Yathusan Ampikainathan — Eastham, United Kingdom — 11 Feb 2018 at 18:23:22
Just bought your AQA Mathmatics Grade 1-9 Workbook (Higher Level). Wasted much time looking for the answer section. Scanned front back and intro for where to find answers. Nothing. Your website reveals the answers are in a separate book that I must pay for! Fair enough IF you had explained that somewhere. Just somewhere in a 132-page book you could mention that an answer book does exist. And if I have to pay separately for an answer book how about taking the time to actually explain how the answers are arrived at - rather than just listing the correct answers. That said, for the most part you are a very user friendly organization with very reasonable prices.
tim — oxford, United Kingdom — 10 Feb 2018 at 09:29:48
Guestbook Editor: Ah, it's always tricky for us to get the balance right with answers. Our Workbooks are mainly used by schools for setting classwork and homework, so teachers might not thank us for directing their students towards the answers. We don't provide full step-by-step answers for our GCSE Maths Workbooks, just because there are so many questions... the answers section would be longer than the main book if we explained all the working.
Taking a different example, our Exam Practice Workbooks for GCSE Maths (and most other GCSE subjects) do include step-by-step answers at the back. They're geared towards helping students prepare for their exams independently, so we provided as much detail as we could.
How about a guest checkout? I have no desire for an account and did not want to spend the time (5 attempts) coming up with a password that was acceptable for the account I don't want.
Sam — Bucks, United Kingdom — 09 Feb 2018 at 17:08:35

are these foundation or higher? or none
jack — London, United Kingdom — 08 Feb 2018 at 17:55:05
Guestbook Editor: Hi! This book matches the Higher Level course (as do all our books for GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics).
Your products are perfect. However, does mathsbusters edexcel higher include foundation topic or do they only have higher? And for the grade ranking on them, does the maths buster foundation only rank to level grade 5 or does it rank up to a 9? I would love to have the one which has both foundation and higher topics, notes, question etc... not just separated. I would like to know which one you recommend for my needs. CGP is absolutely perfect, that is why it needs fixing.
Wilfred Martinez — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 07 Feb 2018 at 18:19:44
Guestbook Editor: Sounds as if the Higher Level version of MathsBuster is the one you need — it covers every topic from the Higher Level exams, from Grade 1 to Grade 9. (This includes all the Foundation Level topics, since there's nothing in the Foundation Level course that you don't need to learn for Higher Level.)
In the Foundation Level edition of MathsBuster, only Foundation Level topics are covered, and your progress will only be measured up to Grade 5.
Hope that answers your questions. We'll get on with fixing our perfections now...
(Commenting on book SHW32B, KS3 Science Workbook (with answers)
I have come across many people who do not want kS3 science higher workbook with Answers. So, please this is my humble request to CGP that Answers should be separate in this workbook if someone wants to buy they can buy separately like other books answers because every time we have to remove answers, please reply me as well.
Muhammad — Brixton, United Kingdom — 07 Feb 2018 at 11:54:12
Guestbook Editor: Hello — thanks for getting in touch. It's already possible to buy the questions from this Workbook without answers, but they're split into separate books for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The answers for all three are printed in a separate Answer Book. Hope that helps.
I’m a student in Y5. I like your books but can you make them more fun because teachers say:
“ We are making school more fun!”
But it stays the same so can you change them a bit?
Erin leforestier — Surrey, United Kingdom — 06 Feb 2018 at 18:51:09
Guestbook Editor: I think your teacher means, "We are making school more fun [than it would be without CGP books]!" Imagine what it'd be like without us.
Actually, don't. It's too sad.

Just spotted a minor error. In the "Edexcel iGCSE Physics Exam Practice Workbook", P22, the total is 9 marks, not 8!
But keep up with your amazing resources as they are wonderful for revision - without CGP I don't think I would have got a 9 in my mocks! Thanks a lot!
