I absoloutly love your revision books, which are clear and easy to read, colourful and "dangerously close to being funny". They have definitely helped prepare my daughters for their GCSEs, and they enjoy reading the little jokes included throughout the pages! A big WOW and thank you!
Khadija Collector — Bradford, United Kingdom — 22 Sep 2017 at 13:02:03
There is a mistake on page 13 in the A-level year 2 chemistry revision guide OCR A. It says that A=e-24 when A=e24. Basically there should not be a minus.

Guestbook Editor: Yes, you're right — we've made a note to correct that. Thanks!
My lovely husband is cooking chicken and mixed peppers curry. Yum. you should be able to smell it soon.

Guestbook Editor: Mmm, that does smell good. Enjoy!
Day 704: still no CGP A-Level Computer Science guide. Both supplies and hope are running low.
Devin — Barren Wasteland, United Kingdom — 17 Sep 2017 at 17:57:20
Guestbook Editor: Sounds as if the situation's getting desperate. Unfortunately, we don't yet have an A-Level Computer Science book ready to come to your rescue. Might be time to consider eating your shoes.
WOW. These books are brilliant. They've helped me for over 10 years, from my very first books for KS1 subjects and the Y2 Sats, to KS2 subjects and Y6 Sats, the KS3, then GCSEs and finally A-Levels. Thank you CGP.

Will u be making an Edexcel Biology B A Level CGP?
John — Jersey, Ukraine — 16 Sep 2017 at 18:52:01
Guestbook Editor: Not as far I know, sorry. Not many people study the Edexcel B course, so you're part of an exclusive club.

We purchase this book each year for all our pupils, do you have an electronic version teachers can use to teach from the front of the classroom?
Semra Kazim — London, United Kingdom — 14 Sep 2017 at 13:53:04
Guestbook Editor: Hello — we don't make a digital version of this one at the moment, I'm afraid. We'll add it to our list of suggestions!
A big thank you to Lucy for all your help on the phone this morning - I have now placed my order for the 'correct' books that my grandson requires.....
Antoinette — Earl Shilton, United Kingdom — 14 Sep 2017 at 13:21:51
I used the gcse maths grade 9-1 course book and the exam practice workbook and found both really helpful - well explained and lots of practice so well worth the money and time spent.
Susan holmes — La comelle, France — 11 Sep 2017 at 17:17:29
I love CGP, but will you be making poetry anthologies for Edexcel? Or a GCSE Chemistry complete revision guide for Edexcel? Please!
Madeline — Cheltenham, United Kingdom — 10 Sep 2017 at 20:20:07
Guestbook Editor: We probably won't be able to help you with an Edexcel Anthology Poetry Guide*, sorry. But we are working on GCSE Science Complete Revision & Practice books for Edexcel — they'll be out before the end of the year!
* Although we might well have one for the WJEC Eduqas Anthology soon, if that's of interest to any other Guestbook readers.

GREAT HELP FOR HISTORY LOVER.
THIS WEBSITE REALLY HELPFUL.
THANKU VERY MUCH.
rekha — ROME, Italy — 09 Sep 2017 at 20:25:44
I'm in year 11 and I've already got loads of your books. They all seem to cover the syllabus well, apart from History. I understand that there are multiple topics to choose from which makes it hard to produce a revision guide for everything but I was wondering if you had any plans to cover Russia 1894-1945 and Power and the People anytime soon. Thanks
PS. I love your books
Hannah — Brentwood, United Kingdom — 09 Sep 2017 at 11:47:34
Guestbook Editor: Hello — as far as I know, we're not planning to expand our GCSE History range at the moment. As you say, it's hard to cover everything in a singe book, so we've tried to include the topics that will be most helpful to the most students. Sorry we can't help you with everything you're studying.
I intend having Quorn based cottage pie for tea. Thanks for asking.
David Aspinall — Macclesfield, United Kingdom — 09 Sep 2017 at 10:15:02
I have used these books for 20 years as a teacher and tutor. They allow me to improvise and teach according to the child`s ability and then the child flies through the questions with confidence. Excellent books.
Carol Whitaker — Guildford, United Kingdom — 05 Sep 2017 at 19:06:22
Dear Coordination Group Publications Limited,
Your books have proved to be most helpful as of recent, for which I must commend your relentless pursuit of textbook excellency.
My question is, how do you create your books from start to end?
The Honorable Harold Colegrave-Montague — Eaton Square, Belgravia, United Kingdom — 04 Sep 2017 at 16:12:30
Guestbook Editor: Well, that's a tricky question, especially since I'm bound by the terms of the Official CGP Secrets Act.
So here's the redacted version: all our books are written by teachers who are experts in their subjects, then checked, trimmed, typeset and sprinkled with jokes by our magnificent in-house editors before being thoroughly proofread and sent off to the printers. And it all happens in the UK.
There's a lot more to it than that, of course, including planning/development, cover design and ritualistic dances. But I might already have said too much...
Please make books for English edexcel igcse. thank you.

Oh that it were twice as long, for the same price!
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
If you need a head start,
Then this book is for you! :-)
Joseph Donovan — London, United Kingdom — 01 Sep 2017 at 14:54:23
Guestbook Editor: Thanks very much. Inspired by your work, I have also written a poem about our Head Start to A-Level Maths book.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
This book is blue too:
What a coincidence.
Thank you for helping me in my GCSEs.

Will there be OCR MEI A Level student books for Maths?
Also, will there be further maths books?
Light — London, United Kingdom — 31 Aug 2017 at 17:12:54
Guestbook Editor: Respectively: probably not and very probably yes (but not specifically for OCR MEI).
The good news is that we are making Complete Revision & Practice guides and Exam Practice Workbooks for the new OCR MEI A-Level Maths course — they'll be out in autumn.
A-Level Further Maths books (AQA and Edexcel) are looking likely for early-ish 2018. We'll keep you posted...
I wish delivery was free
Subhan Ahmed — Nelson, United Kingdom — 30 Aug 2017 at 20:28:12
Guestbook Editor: It is... if you spend over £30. (Unfortunately, we'd end up losing money if we offered free P&P on smaller orders.)
Hi CGP, many thanks for all the books it's a pity we've had to wait a while for the new A level Geography year two version, but at least we have it now.
With two teenage kids I don't think I would have managed without CGP. We have tried other resources, but CGP seem the clearest and easiest to use, filling in the gaps where the teachers might have missed material and reminding me of all the things I have forgotten when the kids say to me "can you help with........." I'm kind of hoping that you will be covering things like the spectres of 'double calculus with bits on' when my son decides to take 'A' level maths in a few years time otherwise I shall be well stumped!
Julia — Maldon, United Kingdom — 30 Aug 2017 at 09:46:10
Guestbook Editor: 'Double calculus with bits on' is thoroughly covered in our new A-Level Maths books, so you should be fine there.
We're very pleased to hear that we've been able to help you out over the years — good luck with the next batch of exams!
Using the Chemistry KS3 book. Page 18. is there a typo there? The question asks for the melting point of "x" on the cooling graph... How would you have a melting point on a cooling graph?? should this be freezing point?
Kaelan — Harrow, United Kingdom — 29 Aug 2017 at 08:47:08
Guestbook Editor: Hello — this question is fine, we think. The melting point and freezing point of a substance are the same, since it'll melt (when it's heating up) at the same temperature as it freezes (when it's cooling down).
So even though the graph shows the substance cooling down over time, you can still read off what the melting point would be if you started heating it up again. Take a look at the example graphs on page 17 to see what we mean.
Excellent service and brilliant resources.
Thank you CGP.
Samra — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 23 Aug 2017 at 15:29:15
You lot at CGP should come out of your offices and get back into the classrooms where you could explain everything properly. On second thoughts, if that happened there would be less work for private tutors like me. Stay where you are guys and I will keep buying your books on behalf of my students.
Sandra Nicolson — Horsham, United Kingdom — 22 Aug 2017 at 16:48:06
Guestbook Editor: Don't worry — we don't venture outside our offices unless we absolutely have to. Last time I tried making an excursion, a seagull stared at me in a way I found very unsettling. Much safer in here.
CGP - your revision books are excellent! Please could you move into producing more assessment resources that could be used by schools for termly assessments with a measurable outcome? I'm sure you could produce much better than the likes of Rising Stars, LCP etc. There is a desperate need in schools for such resources at the moment! Please consider :)
Sarah — Benfleet, United Kingdom — 18 Aug 2017 at 20:06:44
Honestly, the very best books you can get. Such good value books in which you can get for all ages. Helps students like me and my family to succeed so well. Thank's so much for making such brilliant books. What i would have done without CGP i do not know. Ive done so well thanks to you so thank your very much for such good service and conditions at such great value!
Gurjivan Sohal — West Bromwich, United Kingdom — 17 Aug 2017 at 14:32:41
I am going into year 11 and I'm very worried for my GCSEs. I do English language and literature, citizenship, Spanish, Maths, combined science, classical civilization, drama and Italian. I have purchased all of your books that you have but do you have any upcoming ones that will help me??
Danilo — London, United Kingdom — 15 Aug 2017 at 22:34:08
Guestbook Editor: It sounds as if you already have our books for English, Maths, Science and Spanish, so we won't go into more detail about those — except to say that we have new AQA GCSE Science Practice Exam Papers and 10-Minute Tests on the way soon.
Unfortunately, we're not planning to make books covering your other subjects in the near future, so we probably won't be able to help you with those exams. Sorry about that.
P.S. It's easier said than done, but try not to worry too much — your GCSEs are still nine months away, and it'd be a shame to spend the whole of Year 11 dreading them. It's good to have a healthy respect for exams, but don't let them rule your life!
Hi, I just placed an order. Just wondering if you do any special discounts for home educators?
Noreen — Harrow, United Kingdom — 14 Aug 2017 at 00:06:36
Guestbook Editor: Thanks for your order — hope it arrived with you safely. We don't offer discounts to home educators specifically, but there are big savings (up to 35% off!) for anyone who places a large order. You'll find more info on our Infrequently Asked Questions page.
Just wanted to say a big thanks to CGP. I have used your books since first school but at a-level more than any other time they have been really useful. Whenever I don't understand the wording of my other textbooks, I know my CGP textbook will explain it in a way I understand. I especially appreciate the new AQA A-level Physics guide covering the optional modules. It follows the spec. better than the other textbooks, which miss important sections, and it is kind of you to include all sections in the book (unlike other publishers which expect your school to have an online subscription for access - unfair if your school is unwilling to pay). The section on cows in one of the maths textbooks was really helpful by the way, it was reassuring to hear that pantomime cows aren't real. All books seem well checked with few mistakes, and I really appreciated some of the jokes after a long day of revision. I think you should expand your range of apps. At GCSE, the science apps were really helpful, they would have been great for more subjects and at A-level too.
P.S. Has your jellyfish learnt how to ride a tricycle yet?
Katie — Somewhere Sunny, United Kingdom — 10 Aug 2017 at 11:16:46
Guestbook Editor: Thanks for your in-depth feedback — much appreciated. Our jellyfish has long since mastered the tricycle and has turned its attention to interpreting the major works of Nietzsche through a postmodernist lens.

This book has helped me so much-Thank you!
By any chance pleasseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee could you do one for GCSE Spanish? A grammar workbook and guide, I mean, like you did for French.
Also by chance could you make any books for Italian??
But the important thing is Spanish please!
Danilo — London, United Kingdom — 07 Aug 2017 at 21:55:36
Guestbook Editor: I don't think we're planning any Spanish Grammar guide at the moment, sadly, although they would be a lovely addition to our collection of languages books. Maybe one day.
GCSE Italian also falls into the 'maybe one day' category. There just aren't enough ore in un giorno.
I have been using your books and services for many years and have always been very impressed with the quality and style of both the books and the service. Well done and keep them coming. Oh! By the way; steak, mash, mushrooms and sweetcorn.

Having emailed customer services about a query, it was swiftly replied to AND the problem sorted. Also, having bought several books one day, they were all delivered by courier the next day, free of charge AND with a 35 % discount. Bargain. Thanks!

I really like all the textbooks and they are really easy to follow. They also are very bright, however, I feel that the books cost enough and therefore, the online things should be free, for example, the interactive vocab testers.
anonymous — anonymous, United Kingdom — 21 Jul 2017 at 12:10:01
Hey please can you make a citizenship 9-1 revision guide for OCR, I can't find a single one and I am failing very much please do!! It is very important!
Danilo — London, United Kingdom — 21 Jul 2017 at 11:50:08
