I really like all the textbooks and they are really easy to follow. They also are very bright, however, I feel that the books cost enough and therefore, the online things should be free, for example, the interactive vocab testers.

Hey please can you make a citizenship 9-1 revision guide for OCR, I can't find a single one and I am failing very much please do!! It is very important!

Danilo — London, United Kingdom — 21 Jul 2017 at 11:50:08

Guestbook Editor: I don't think we're going to be able to help you with this, I'm afraid — we have our hands full making books for other subjects at the moment. Sorry, and good luck with it.

Just want to say how extremely grateful I am for all the 11+ and SATs resources available at CGP. I use the books appropriate for GL Assessment and the successes achieved by my tutees have been testament to the quality of preparation through the books. The detailed answers are really helpful, in terms of time-saving!
It is lovely to occasionally receive a 'freebie' through the post too, possibly highlighting a new product, but just as a 'Thank You'. This is a really nice touch.
I have only the tiniest query, and that is in regard to the level of difficulty in the age 10-11 Non-Verbal Reasoning. To most of my students, it seems significantly more difficult than the age 9-10 book, whereas in other skill areas the progression is less abrupt.
None of that last paragraph in any way detracts from my satisfaction with the preparation books as a whole. I love them and my students enjoy using them. Thank you, CGP!

Violet Thompson — ASHFORD, United Kingdom — 19 Jul 2017 at 05:33:17

Guestbook Editor: Thanks for your feedback — it's great to hear your students are enjoying 11+ success with a bit of help from CGP. We'll pass your comment about the Non-Verbal Reasoning books on to our 11+ team so that they can keep an eye out for sudden jumps in difficulty in future editions.

(Commenting on book M4PB21, New KS2 Maths Textbook - Year 4

This is a superb textbook with clear differentiated questions! When will the same be available for KS1, in particular Year 2?

Emma Chapman — Walsall, United Kingdom — 18 Jul 2017 at 08:40:19

Guestbook Editor: Thanks — glad you like it! We haven't quite finished making the textbooks for Years 3, 5 and 6 yet (they'll be ready in time for September), so it'll be while before we can tackle Key Stage One...

Hi is there any chance you could make history revision guides that include crime and punishment as a lot of people are studying crime and punishment rather than medicine through time

Tasawar — derby, United Kingdom — 13 Jul 2017 at 21:19:15

The books are really good, but i would appreciate it if the a-level economics books would specify whether its for edexcel or aqa, moreover they should do the same for geography as they do not have ocr geography.

Amana — London, United Kingdom — 12 Jul 2017 at 15:15:06

As an A-level student, now in Year 13, I would be lost without these revision guides. They are the only revision guides that list everything you need to know. No nonsense background information, no waffling and nothing beyond the specification. It literally (for my A-level courses) lists the specification on the side with exam tips that I imagine are sourced from examiner reports.

Reece — Liverpool, United Kingdom — 10 Jul 2017 at 21:00:32

Amazing! So much better than Collins, more detailed and even though the price can be a little more, its totally worth it! Easy website to use and lots of types of books to buy for anyone who needs it. Recommended, have been using this for 3 years.

Nowshi — Essex, United Kingdom — 08 Jul 2017 at 23:35:39

My kids seems to get along easily with CGP books compared to other brands. It make parenting a bit easier when kids show interest in books. Every little helps.

Amazing but when is the new science book going to come out?

Scholarship candatate — Bishop Auckland, United Kingdom — 24 Jun 2017 at 16:18:14

Guestbook Editor: It's not too far off... the new 13+ Science Study Book is due in mid-July, with the matching Practice Book following towards the end of August.

This website is sooooo amazing I have loads of cgp books they are so good I have high recemendations !
ps I am 12 and doing a scholarship!!!

Moly Robeson — Bishop Auckland, United Kingdom — 24 Jun 2017 at 16:15:22

Guestbook Editor: Excellent, thanks for recommending us! Good luck with your scholarshipping.

Can we please get a 9-1 revision book for citizenship as it would really be helpful as it is a subject a struggle the most with. By the way i love all the cgp books as they are the best

Ai — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 21 Jun 2017 at 01:11:49

These books have helped me through my GCSEs so much! I'm so greatful for all of their wonderul resources. They make revision fun with all of their stupid puns that help me remember everything! The practice questions in the graphics revision guide are awesome.

Emile Hooper — Gloucester, United Kingdom — 20 Jun 2017 at 11:22:29

MY CHILD HAS BEEN USING THIS FOR YEARS AND IT'S WON HER A GOOD UNIVERSITY

Susan — Adana, Turkey — 17 Jun 2017 at 10:42:27

Hi! Just wanted to say thank you for your help with my science A Levels this year. I've noticed an error and an omission whilst using your revision guides. In the AS Level Chemistry AQA revision guide (code CAR53), on page 84, under "The Properties of Polyalkenes Depend...", point 3, you've written "polyalkanes" rather than "polyalkenes". I'm assuming this is a typo - I could be wrong. You also don't make any mention of Lewis acids and Lewis bases in the A2 revision guide (code CAR62), though this might just be because it's not on the specification? Thank you again for all the help!

Mitch — Sheffield, United Kingdom — 16 Jun 2017 at 20:55:08

Guestbook Editor: You're right — it should say 'polyalkenes' on p84. We have a note of this of this one, so we'll correct it when the book is next reprinted. Lewis acids and bases aren't mentioned on AQA's A-Level Chemistry specification, so you won't need to learn about those. Thanks!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you. I am sitting my last ever GCSE today- physics. Without the help of your AMAZING textbooks I wouldn't have probably passed any of my exams! Thank you for teaching me everything my useless teacher can't !! Xxxx

Louise — Bolton, United Kingdom — 16 Jun 2017 at 07:13:27

Guestbook Editor: Good luck! (Probably a bit late by the time you read this, but it's the thought that counts.)

Thanks CGP for being some of the only people who know what is going on with the new 9-1 GCSE's. Teachers have no clue and are pretty much guessing what to teach us. Lifesavers!

tanya — London, United Kingdom — 14 Jun 2017 at 22:08:06

Having a great time revising for my science GCSEs with these books, they really help with unknown knowledge and it's safe to say they have not let me down. On top of that I've had a little laugh as well. Thanks for the help!

Emily — Wigan, United Kingdom — 14 Jun 2017 at 10:37:04

I buy all my books from CGP...My Spanish teacher said that 'hola' meant yes so I need help from God to pass these 9-1 exams, luckily CGP have got my back, not literally :)

Thanks dudez I love you (p.s. please give me my next 2 books free email me please ;) ).

Nicky — Liverpool, United Kingdom — 11 Jun 2017 at 23:18:33

Guestbook Editor: Ha, nice try... sadly, the Guestbook Editor is famed for being CGP's stingiest member of staff. And I'm not allowed to handle anything that has monetary value. Glad we're helping you with your exams, though.

Adiós! (Which means 'good luck', probably.)

i love these combined science books they help me understand things the teacher does not explain in enough detail
thanxs CGP

kieron — newcastles, United Kingdom — 08 Jun 2017 at 20:15:11

Fantastic resources for school and 11+. Loving all the new CEM books and the Book 2's for extra practice. I wish tutors could get them at the same price as schools though! I'd buy them for my students then instead of asking parents to purchase them.

Sue Marston — Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom — 07 Jun 2017 at 18:13:16

Guestbook Editor: Thanks! And don't forget that you can get up to 35% discount when you place a large order from CGP — visit our Infrequently Asked Questions page for more info.

(Commenting on book FGR41, New French Grammar Handbook - for KS3 & Grade 9-1 GCSE

Please can we have one of these for Spanish?? Would be incredibly useful to help prepare students for the new GCSEs.

Kate Carter — Melton Mowray, United Kingdom — 07 Jun 2017 at 12:13:29

Guestbook Editor: Well, it's definitely not impossible... we'll add your request to our list!

(Commenting on book BEAR72, New A-Level Biology: Edexcel A Year 1 & 2 Complete Revision & Practice with Online Edition

Hi, I was just wondering if you will have revision guide for Edexcel A Level Biology B soon? I really like the Physics one which is quite helpful! Thank you.

Melanie — Brighton, United Kingdom — 06 Jun 2017 at 16:50:33

Guestbook Editor: It's unlikely we'll be covering the Edexcel B A-Level Biology spec in the near future, we're afraid. Not very many people are studying it, so you're in an exclusive club...

These books are a fantastic resource for tutoring. I have used them for many years and they are extremely good value. The children also enjoy using them. I particularly like the CEM test textbooks.

Is this book available as an online edition that I can use from my CGP online bookshelf please?

Guestbook Editor: Hello — we don't make an Online Edition of this particular book at the moment, we're afraid. Sorry!

I would like to see the other religions covered, or books on them, my centre is looking at Hinduism as the second religion.

(Commenting on book MXHW46B, New GCSE Maths Edexcel Workbook: Higher - for the Grade 9-1 Course (includes Answers)

What is the difference between this (the workbook) and the exam practice workbook? Are they not the same thing? Im very confused

Danilo Paganelli — london, United Kingdom — 02 Jun 2017 at 19:58:06

Guestbook Editor: Ah, we can disentangle those for you...

The Workbook is packed with practice to help you get to grips with all the Maths skills you'll need (there are dozens of questions on most pages). It's great to use as you're learning new topics throughout the GCSE course.

The Exam Practice Workbook contains a different set of questions, all presented in the same style as the ones you'll find in the exams (including mark schemes and dotted lines to write your answers on). It's a perfect way to make sure you're ready for the real exams as you head towards the end of Year 11.

Any one know how to find the online answers for the work book exam practise paper

Hayley — Manchester, United Kingdom — 02 Jun 2017 at 15:42:42

Guestbook Editor: We probably do... but we're not 100% sure which book you're using. If it's GCSE Maths, you'll find the answers here.

If it's not GCSE Maths, let us know!

I enjoy CGP and I am 8 and I am almost 9

Hai ying — Keighley, United Kingdom — 01 Jun 2017 at 20:51:38

Guestbook Editor: Three excellent qualities for anyone to have. Happy almost birthday!

We have unable to help our grandson with his Maths homework as we do not know the method used. Having the book from cgp with worked examples will enable us to help him at last.

Barbara Brooker — Sherborne, United Kingdom — 01 Jun 2017 at 10:00:08

These books are amazing. I'm in year 10 and I'm currently studying for my GCSE's. Very helpful 10/10

Ella-Louise — Dunstable, United Kingdom — 30 May 2017 at 12:30:15

Your books are a godsend for last minute revision this half term!

Though I am wondering, why have none of your books received endorsement from exam boards?

A Level Student — London, United Kingdom — 29 May 2017 at 17:17:40

Guestbook Editor: Thanks! We just like to do our own thing with the style and content our books, really — but we're hyper-conscientious about making sure they include everything you need for the exams.

(Commenting on book MXHQ42, New GCSE Maths Edexcel Exam Practice Workbook: Higher - for the Grade 9-1 Course (includes Answers)

This book is good for revision but it is very irritating that they removed the mark scheme for the practice papers from the website. Can't check my answers anywhere which is very annoying. Not pleased.

Alex James — Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom — 24 May 2017 at 18:33:58

Guestbook Editor: We may have got our wires crossed, but the answers to the Practice Papers in our GCSE Maths Exam Practice Workbooks are still available here (cgpbooks.co.uk/gcsemathsanswers). Let us know if this isn't what you're looking for.

When are the AQA Religious Studies guides going to be restock? It went really quick!

Adanna — London, United Kingdom — 23 May 2017 at 15:44:54

Guestbook Editor: Ah, sorry about that — we found a problem with the binding, so we've taken it off sale while we get this fixed. We're hoping it'll be back in stock towards the end of next week... 1st June is our best guess at the moment.

I only use CGP books for my students, the quality, the number of questions and the convenience of having answers is second to none. Highly recommended. The CGP maths book is the best in the business, as a maths teacher I can honestly say that I haven't come across a better GCSE math textbook! Keep up the good work!

shafiq raza — Bradford, United Kingdom — 23 May 2017 at 14:36:36

Danilo Paganelli — London, United Kingdom — 22 May 2017 at 22:18:57

Guestbook Editor: We're still not planning any Citizenship books for the new Grade 9-1 GCSEs, we're afraid. So many other books to keep us busy...
