I love your books . I have them for each subject and you're my best friend
Annabelle — Wirral, United Kingdom — 25 Apr 2018 at 21:42:19
I am a family friendly pg clean person, I thought it would be best to clear that up.
I had a great idea! So great, I exclaimed "Zoinks! That's a poodle of an idea!". You, my dear friends, should create online video tutorials for those of us who are more visual learners.
I believe it is simply a fantastic idea with such great prospects!
Shiver me timbers, I'm getting flustered at the thought!
Alfie — Ipswich, United Kingdom — 24 Apr 2018 at 23:12:59
Guestbook Editor: Thank goodness for that. It's a blessed relief from my constant foul-mouthed tirades.
Video tutorials are indeed a timber-shiveringly good idea. In fact, we've already made complete video tutorials for GCSE Maths, which you'll find in the rather excellent CGP MathsTutor and CGP MathsBuster.
We'd love to cover other subjects too. Maybe one day...
the next sentence is true. the previous sentence was false.
yahyeet — yeet city, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) — 24 Apr 2018 at 22:25:04
Guestbook Editor: Oh, dear. I can feel a bout of semantic incoherence coming on...
This sounds like a variation of the Liar Paradox — if the statement "I am lying" is true, it must also be false.
That problem has been bothering philosophical logicians for a couple of thousand years, so we're probably not going to get to the bottom of it on the CGP Guestbook. Unless anyone out there thinks they've cracked it?
On Pg 40 of the GCSE AQA Chemistry Grade 8-9 Targeted Exam Practice Workbook, the score at the bottom should be out of 45
Clifton — Chesterfield, United Kingdom — 23 Apr 2018 at 21:59:01
Guestbook Editor: Hmm. I've just double-checked our sums. Adding up all the marks on pages 36-40, I still get 55 — which matches what we've printed in the book.
do you have any books on the meaning of life, or how to not have an existential crisis during doing revision?
alex — Newcastle, United Kingdom — 22 Apr 2018 at 16:36:00
Guestbook Editor: Sadly no breakthroughs on the meaning of life yet — but we're pretty sure it's not badminton or the letter G...
Revision tips we can help with though!
I have fallen absolutely in love with the MathsBuster's product; timed tests have become a religious practise for me now.
Thank you soooo much, I feel more confident that I'm going to pass now
THANK YOU AGAIN XD XD XD

SARA MARIN PEREZ — Madrid, Spain — 22 Apr 2018 at 08:46:17

Guestbook Editor: Yeet indeed.
Where are the answers for the Gsce aqa maths higher papers?
M A — London, United Kingdom — 17 Apr 2018 at 20:53:48
Guestbook Editor: The practice papers from our Higher Level AQA GCSE Maths Exam Practice Workook, do you mean? If so, you'll find the answers on this page.
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear CGP
Happy birthday to you
p.s. I hope it is your birthday... otherwise it will be a bit embarrassing...!
texan — not too sure..., United Kingdom — 14 Apr 2018 at 22:08:49
Guestbook Editor: Thanks very much. I'm pretty sure it's always our birthday.
Teacher here, there seems to be a mistake on page 66 of your IGCSE Chemistry for Edexcel book 'Section 5 - Chemistry In Industry.' The reduction reaction of Copper Oxide. You guys put 2CuO + C -> 2Cu + O2 when the "O2" should be "CO2"
James — Essex, United Kingdom — 14 Apr 2018 at 12:28:45
Guestbook Editor: Hello, and thanks for getting in touch. We corrected that one a few years ago, so you must have one of the earlier prints of the book. Apologies for the slip!
I have purchased the GCSE aqa history revision guide and have completed a revision summary. I’ve just realised that there are no answers in the back of the book. Could you inform me of where I can locate the answers so I can mark my work.
Cheers (great book by the way)
James Adams — Gainsborough , United Kingdom — 13 Apr 2018 at 12:09:59
Guestbook Editor: No problem. The Revision Summary questions just recap what you've been learning in the preceding section, so you'll find the answers by flicking back through the book. (We've even included page references for each chunk of questions so you know where to look.)
So will you marry me or not? There are plenty of other fish in the sea, in fact maybe I'll marry this Donald Duck fella, but its your choice, Mr.CGP...
Cheers big ears
Guestbook Editor — CGP HQ(top secret), Christmas Island — 13 Apr 2018 at 11:33:49
Guestbook Editor: Sorry to keep you waiting. Having searched my heart, I think you'd be better off with Donald — but be careful he doesn't try to fob you off with a Mickey-Mouse marriage certificate.
i'm doing law, history, maths and public speaking next year for a-levels... do u do all these things?
venetian blind — dunno, United Kingdom — 12 Apr 2018 at 22:00:30
Guestbook Editor: Of those subjects, we only cover A-Level Maths at the moment. But we cover it really well...
There's a typo on page 221 of the A-Level Biology for AQA: Year 2 Student Book - Online Edition. In the second paragraph under the heading "miRNA in mammals", the last sentence says "it is processed into a double stand" - I think it should be "strand" instead of "stand"...
Hilary — Bristol, United Kingdom — 12 Apr 2018 at 19:53:42
Guestbook Editor: Ah, so it should. We'll correct that, thanks!
(Commenting on book CEQA41, New GCSE Chemistry: Edexcel Answers (for Exam Practice Workbook)
What kind of stuff is this?!? I don’t have time to wait for the answer book, and I can’t check my answers as you only have sample pages! I can always find a website that has it but they will be hard to find and make me more stressed!!
Dom — Cambridge, United Kingdom — 12 Apr 2018 at 15:14:45
This is the worst website i have been on it is very difficult to get to anything and very unhelpful
Zanna Gaydon — Oxford, United Kingdom — 11 Apr 2018 at 19:29:05
Would the combined science practise and revision books contain everything that is needed for a 99
Harmony — derby, United Kingdom — 11 Apr 2018 at 00:44:18
Guestbook Editor: I’m not 100% sure which products you’re referring to, but you’ll notice that a lot of our Combined Science books are available for both ‘Higher’ and ‘Foundation’ Levels. The Higher Level books cover everything that students need to get a 99 (two Grade 9s). Students aiming for anything up to a 55 (two Grade 5s), will find everything they need in the Foundation Level books. Hope that helps.
Your infrequently asked questions page has what looks to be an out of date question on...GCSE courses are changing to ‘Grade 9-1’... what does this mean?...still needed?
Graham — Broughton, United Kingdom — 09 Apr 2018 at 16:01:32
Guestbook Editor: We think this is still helpful info — especially for parents who haven't been keeping track of the changes to the exams. We don't go into much detail on the IFAQs page, but our New Grade 9-1 GCSEs Explained page is still very popular!
Why didn’t you include the answers in geography Edexcel B exam practice workbook? We have had to set up an account just to order a £2 book when we bought everything else from Waterstones or amazon?
Rachel — Manchesterc, United Kingdom — 06 Apr 2018 at 21:51:24
Guestbook Editor: Sorry for the inconvenience. We print the answers for these books separately so that teachers can set work from them without giving out the answers at the same time.
Having said that, some of our more recent Exam Practice Workbooks do include answers so that students can use them for independent study. We're always listening to feedback and doing our best to make our books as helpful as possible!
Any chance of adding a Hinduism section to the GCSE RS AQA A revision guide?
John — Kent, United Kingdom — 06 Apr 2018 at 12:29:49
Guestbook Editor: Not much chance, unfortunately. Relatively few schools teach the Hinduism option, so we've focused on the ones that will be helpful to most students.
Howdy, I love CGP books so much, in fact I have a question for the editor. Mr.CGP... will you marry me? (I even wrote a poem)
Physics is red
Biology is Blue
I really love you
Guestbook Editor — CGP HQ, United Kingdom — 05 Apr 2018 at 16:56:26
Guestbook Editor: Thanks for the poem, but you might need to revise your CGP book colours before marrying into the clan is a possibility. Everyone knows that Physics is purple and Biology is green...
When will the WJEC EDUQAS GCSE English Unseen Poetry Guide be released???? The exam is just over 1 month away....I need your help CGP....
Gurjivan — West Bromwich, United Kingdom — 04 Apr 2018 at 17:24:02
Guestbook Editor: It's almost here... we're expecting it on 5th April. Hang in there!
What a fantastic book! Thanks to CGP for putting together an ABSOLUTELY GREAT book in which probably has "saved my life". The book gives clear and concise notes in which are all needed for this part of the new course. I'm the first year sitting this new exam and the book came out a couple of months before the exam but REALLY helped. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone doing this course, as your English teachers won't give you this great information!
Gurjivan — West Bromwich, United Kingdom — 04 Apr 2018 at 17:21:30
Will you make a GCSE Edexcel English Literature poetry anthology for Time and Place?
James — Surrey, United Kingdom — 04 Apr 2018 at 08:15:42
Guestbook Editor: Not for the foreseeable future, we're afraid, but our new Edexcel Poetry books will cover the 'Conflict' and 'Relationships' Anthology Collections, and Unseen Poetry.
Sure come and have fun in the money pool! But there's a £20 entrance fee or alternatively a lifetime supply of CGP books... your choice.
Cheers big ears,
Donald Duck — Duckburg, United Kingdom — 02 Apr 2018 at 12:11:11
Guestbook Editor: That's the problem with ducks — there's always a bill.
Why are there no revision summary questions for topic 6 of the Edexcel B GCSE Geography revision guide? :(
V — London, United Kingdom — 01 Apr 2018 at 18:15:55
Guestbook Editor: Topic 6 is a bit different from the rest of this book... it's a short section of advice about how the fieldwork parts of the exam are structured. There aren't any geography facts you need to learn, so we didn't include any summary questions. Sorry!
Hi CGP! I'm a long time watcher, first time commenter, and I just wanted to let you know that I love your content! "You are Two" is one of the most insightful videos I've ever seen, and I love that cute little avatar, haha. Anyways, life is meaningless, thought I'd let you know. :-)
Dave — Oistershire, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2018 at 23:39:36
I'm looking for a text guide on View from a Bridge, I used to have a CGP one but I lost it. Do you no longer sell them? I really liked the cartoon!
Jai R — Ipswich, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2018 at 15:33:26
Guestbook Editor: We stopped printing that one a while ago, unfortunately — American writers aren't included in the new GCSE English Literature courses. It was a good cartoon, though...
Excellent service and books.
Qurratul A Munnee — London, United Kingdom — 26 Mar 2018 at 23:23:00
This book helps me so much I have it and it has really helped me be reassured during the lead up to sats and hopefully I can try my best to become greater depth. There are many different things that are covered in this book and when my mum and I mark the test we can see where I have gone wrong and what I an do to improve it. I think this will help me become the best I an be and these amazing book can help me be amazing and hopefully get full marks on my test. The best ever...
Jordan — Stockton-on-tees, United Kingdom — 26 Mar 2018 at 20:38:58
It said I comment what I'm going to have for tea, so, I'm going to have a nice scone with jam and cream alongside a good cup of tea. Ahh, that will be nice, care to join me?
Donald Duck — London, United Kingdom — 26 Mar 2018 at 18:11:10
Guestbook Editor: Sounds lovely, thank you. Can we go and swim in your Uncle Scrooge's money pool afterwards?
Will you be making an A-Level OCR Further Maths book anytime soon?
Jman — London, United Kingdom — 24 Mar 2018 at 10:07:33
Guestbook Editor: Probably not very soon, sorry — we're only covering AQA and Edexcel A-Level Further Maths for starters.
I can't rate GCP books enough. They are so well structured, user friendly and I always recommend them to all of my students.
Keep up the good work CGP!
carolyn — widnes, United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2018 at 22:54:49
I can't rate these books highly enough. My pupils learn so quickly and thoroughly. I'll be with you for a while yet!
yvonne bissett — MANCHESTER, United Kingdom — 21 Mar 2018 at 10:58:53
Your book was great help! I am currently using the AQA GCSE Anthology of Poetry and its a great help as you have all of the poems fully annotated and yet more advice on the back. My only worry is that the books get ruined easily- they curl at the edges which is a great disappointment. I am currently in year 10 so it is good practice for me.
Thanks for creating wonderful books!!!!!!!
Maisha — great barr, United Kingdom — 20 Mar 2018 at 19:13:03
Guestbook Editor: You're very welcome. Sorry to hear about your curly corners — sounds as if there's been a problem with the lamination on your copy, so if you'd like a replacement, just drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm a big fan of CGP books - so much so that I fear one day I shall own the whole lot!
Katy Humphris — St Albans, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2018 at 16:48:03
Guestbook Editor: Why fear? That would be a magnificent achievement!
Gosh, there are some people hard to please! Streets ahead as the best books on the market!
Ian Riley — WARRINGTON, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2018 at 14:52:10
Used CGP books for GCSEs and A levels for both my daughters.Revision guides are so consise and easy to use and mirror curriculum as taught in class , fantastic resource.
Currently navigating new GCSEs and finding they are only reliable source for new 9-1 GCSEs and practise papers with answers which are in short supply. Life saver, can't recommend them highly enough.
