(Commenting on book MXHQ42, New GCSE Maths Edexcel Exam Practice Workbook: Higher - for the Grade 9-1 Course (includes Answers)

This book is good for revision but it is very irritating that they removed the mark scheme for the practice papers from the website. Can't check my answers anywhere which is very annoying. Not pleased.

Alex James — Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom — 24 May 2017 at 18:33:58

Guestbook Editor: We may have got our wires crossed, but the answers to the Practice Papers in our GCSE Maths Exam Practice Workbooks are still available here (cgpbooks.co.uk/gcsemathsanswers). Let us know if this isn't what you're looking for.

When are the AQA Religious Studies guides going to be restock? It went really quick!

Adanna — London, United Kingdom — 23 May 2017 at 15:44:54

Guestbook Editor: Ah, sorry about that — we found a problem with the binding, so we've taken it off sale while we get this fixed. We're hoping it'll be back in stock towards the end of next week... 1st June is our best guess at the moment.

I only use CGP books for my students, the quality, the number of questions and the convenience of having answers is second to none. Highly recommended. The CGP maths book is the best in the business, as a maths teacher I can honestly say that I haven't come across a better GCSE math textbook! Keep up the good work!

shafiq raza — Bradford, United Kingdom — 23 May 2017 at 14:36:36

Guestbook Editor: That's great to hear — thanks!

Can you make a citizeship book please?

Danilo Paganelli — London, United Kingdom — 22 May 2017 at 22:18:57

Guestbook Editor: We're still not planning any Citizenship books for the new Grade 9-1 GCSEs, we're afraid. So many other books to keep us busy...

Hiya CGP guestbook!
I'd just like to say how much I appreciate the
[shameless free advertising incoming]
"Romeo and Juliet - The Entire Play" and "A Christmas Carol - The Text Guide"
as they helped me sail (I hope) through my English Lit Exam!
Cheers, friend!
-Ethan (whack me an email if you want me to shamelessly promote your books again!)

Webb_Weegie — Shepshed, United Kingdom — 22 May 2017 at 16:04:08

Guestbook Editor: Thanks, Ethan — we appreciate the publicity. Hope your GCSE English grades are as high as your enthusiasm for promoting CGP.

how can you find the answers for the end of unit questions
(aqa gcse book grade 9-1)?

bob — london, United Kingdom — 21 May 2017 at 16:04:06

Guestbook Editor: Hello — these questions test you on the material from the section you've just finished, so if there's anything you don't remember, you'll find the answers by flicking back through the book.

excellent practice book for 11+

K FAKIR — BIRMINGHAM, United Kingdom — 20 May 2017 at 21:43:04

Will you be releasing exam practice papers 9-1 Edexcel separate science any time soon? :)

Sean Gjoka — Northampton, United Kingdom — 19 May 2017 at 23:13:11

Guestbook Editor: Hi! We are making Practice Exam Papers for 9-1 GCSE Science soon, but only for AQA for starters. We wouldn't rule out Edexcel papers for the future, though...

Meatballs in a tomato sauce :)

(Commenting on book BUERB1, BTEC First in Business - Study & Exam Practice with CD-ROM

Just been appointed to Head of Business Studies in an Outstanding secondary in Preston (but live in Barrow). Bought this resource and it's excellent. Kids love it too!! Would love more for the other units if possible?

Kirsten Ryder — Barrow-in-Furness, United Kingdom — 17 May 2017 at 13:02:58

Guestbook Editor: Congratulations on your new job! We're pleased to hear you're a fan of the BTEC Business book, but we don't have any more BTEC coverage on the cards at the moment. You never know what the future holds, though.

(Commenting on book NDXPDE1, 10-Minute Tests for 11+ Non-Verbal Reasoning: 3D and Spatial Ages 10-11 (Book 1) - CEM Test

CGP 11plus books are an amazing resource for children preparing for 11plus. My daughter got admission to a grammar school withjust practising the cgp books. She didn't have any private tutoring. These 10 minute tests are great because the kids enjoy doing it as its quick tests.

Sheena Jose — Warwick, United Kingdom — 16 May 2017 at 00:37:49

Superb revision guides! A great way to get clear, concise answers to complicated topics. I would certainly recommend CGP books to all students who want quick, comprehensible revision assistance.

Hussain Ismail — London, United Kingdom — 15 May 2017 at 19:57:47

I've been using CGP books for my daughters for years. The older one passed and now the younger one is getting ready. You have answer sheets for all books available online in PDF. May you also make answer sheets for 11+ test paper packs available for download?. Kind Regards.

Does this contain the answers too?

Emma Gwynn — Bristol, United Kingdom — 11 May 2017 at 20:30:50

Guestbook Editor: It doesn't, sorry — you'll need the separate Answer Book for this one.

Amazing service! Great resources that are practical and relevant. Strongly urge parents to use CGP books with their children for further support.

Majed Iqbal — Rochdale, United Kingdom — 11 May 2017 at 16:40:34

my exams start in 5 days, i havent started revising yet. will your books get me in college?

sam — byugk, United Kingdom — 11 May 2017 at 10:27:10

Guestbook Editor: Given the time constraints, we'd hesitate to absolutely guarantee it... but they're definitely your best bet!

(Commenting on book HHS33, KS3 History Complete Study & Practice

The study and practice book is good but there should also be a study guide available for history as I am in yr 8 and studying history for GCSE.

(Commenting on book EGW42, New Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar for GCSE Workbook (includes Answers)

Why is there no online edition for this title?

Alison Downes — Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom — 09 May 2017 at 22:02:48

Guestbook Editor: We don't generally include Online Editions with our Workbooks these days, since they weren't a feature people used very much. We suppose Workbooks are best when you can write your answers down on the page, old-style.

Is there doing to be a Exam Practice Workbook for the GCSE AQA A Religious Studies 9-1 exam.

Adanna — London, United Kingdom — 09 May 2017 at 12:38:38

Guestbook Editor: We're not planning any Exam Practice Workbooks for 9-1 GCSE Religious Studies at the moment — just Revision Guides for now (although these do include some exam-style questions).

Thought the website was easy to use and fab discount for ordering over £100.00

joanna taylor — Thingwall, United Kingdom — 08 May 2017 at 19:34:44

Great but I need a way to do it online instead of off downloads

(Commenting on book MRT51, New A-Level Maths for OCR: Year 1 & AS Student Book with Online Edition

Does the new OCR A Level Maths Student Book include the OCR MEI syllabus?

Nathan River — Winchester, United Kingdom — 07 May 2017 at 08:23:03

Guestbook Editor: Not exactly, we're afraid — this Student Book is matched to the OCR spec, so it doesn't cover everything from OCR MEI.

In better news, we are making Complete Revision & Practice books for the new OCR MEI A-Level Maths course. They're due out this autumn!

This book is very helpful and it's helped me a lot to understand my teacher more.

I don't drink tea at the moment, but when I have my graduation then I'll have tea with biscuits.
Thank You for asking me to leave a comment.
God bless to our great great Great Britain.

Azizah — Camden Town, United Kingdom — 01 May 2017 at 20:35:12

Guestbook Editor: Ah, the pleasure of a cup of tea is always heightened when you've had to wait for it. And what better way to mark your graduation? Enjoy!

Thank you for these books, they are fantastic!! I'm very worried with the whole thing about the grades changing to numbers (1-9). But I know that these books will help me a lot!

Leoni — Ward, United Kingdom — 29 Apr 2017 at 19:05:57

In your GCSE Religious Studies OCR B: Ethics 1 & 2 Revision Guide, I have noticed that a dash in God has been placed so as to show respect for different religions but Allah, the Islamic name for God, this has not been done. I find this appalling. Muslims deserve to be shown just as much respect for their beliefs, especially because they have a tendency to not write out the name Allah out of respect.

Bob — Leicester, United Kingdom — 26 Apr 2017 at 12:26:15

Guestbook Editor: Hello — thanks for your comment. In this GCSE Religious Studies book, we write "God" when referring to Christianity, "G-d" for Judaism and "Allah" for Islam. These are the terms used in the OCR specification, so we've written them the same way to make sure students know what to expect in the exam. No disrespect meant.

Wow! I guessed between 2 - 3 days turnaround on a delivery but I ordered my son's books at 5:30pm on the Monday and Fed Ex had them at my door at 8:30am on Tuesday. They must have elves working through the night - fantastic service. Thank you.

June Lewis — York, United Kingdom — 26 Apr 2017 at 04:56:46

CGP really does make such a difference to your revision. They got me through school and now as a trainee teacher I still use them to help with my lesson planning! They are so easily accessible and don't make revision or planning feel like a chore at all - one of the most worthwhile buys i've ever made!

L Ivins — Brighton , United Kingdom — 24 Apr 2017 at 12:17:18

i love physics !!!! its so good , so fun , and this book is my lifeeeee!!!! it helps so much !!! it gets me through the day, thankyou CGP !!

As a Home Ed parent and a tutor for 11+ I just could NOT be without CGP. Affordable (with amazing discounts) and accessible to children the workbooks are simply superb. Lovely staff who are helpful and friendly. What's not to like?!

FRANKIE — ROSSENDALE, United Kingdom — 21 Apr 2017 at 20:57:30

called into customer service about 4 separate times, as my sons' education is very important! The person on the other end of the phone was very helpful... and patient. Thank you, voice on the other end of the line!

iss — london, United Kingdom — 19 Apr 2017 at 17:09:53

Is it possible that you'll do an AQA Religious Studies 9-1 Complete revision & Practice book?

Adanna — London, United Kingdom — 17 Apr 2017 at 16:51:17

Guestbook Editor: Yes, very possible indeed (although it'll be a Revision Guide rather than a Complete Revision & Practice book). It's coming soon!

I've got your GCSE Biology OCR Gateway workbook higher - it is really stupid and inconvenient that there are no answers within the book or accessible online, the book is therefore pointless as I can not correct my mistakes and learn from them. Would not recommend.

L — London, United Kingdom — 16 Apr 2017 at 09:52:07

Hi CGP! Thank you for making excellent revision guides!!

I was wondering if you are thinking of making a Politics A Level guide for the new course, or a GCSE Astronomy guide?

Ore — London, United Kingdom — 13 Apr 2017 at 22:48:01

Guestbook Editor: Hi Ore! Thank you for your question!

Sadly, the answer is 'no' to both parts at the moment. Maybe one day we'll dabble in (A-Level) Politics...

S'what do you say bout de English igcse book then?

ria — Birmingham, United Kingdom — 11 Apr 2017 at 10:58:39

Guestbook Editor: We say... maybe? Bit of a non-committal answer, but it's the best we can do for now. Sorry!

Hello. Could you confirm what chapters of the revision guide are in Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the AQA biology, physics and chemistry exams ? As there are 3 sections in the revision book (but just 2 exams) I'm a confused parent and the exam specification is really confusing !

Annie — LONDON, United Kingdom — 11 Apr 2017 at 09:04:26

Guestbook Editor: Hi — GCSE Science exams certainly can be confusing. In fact, there are so many GCSE Science courses on the go at the moment that we need to ask you a few questions before we can answer yours...

1) Is your son/daughter in Year 10 or Year 11?
2) Are they taking two GCSEs in Science, or three?
3) Which of our Revision Guides are you using? (You can just give us the short code underneath the barcode on the back cover)
