  1. Hello CGP, Loving your books.... Are you planning on making knowledge organizers for some more GCSEs such as Maths, Computer Science, English and possibly even MFL (I know the vocab books exist which are great but the knowledge organizers could possibly have some grammar rules in)... Thank you

A fellow Knowledge Organiser enthusiast — we like your style.

Unfortunately, I can't reveal CGP's future Knowledge Organiser plans... because I don't know what they are. I'm a terrible gossip, so people have stopped telling me things.

  2. Four things to say...

Why not make a book called SPaG GaPS for KS2 (or KS1) for people who struggle with SPaG?

please make an 11+ book for SET exams in Surrey

I made a page for you and expanded......... A WIKIPEDIA PAGE!

and finally... do you like sausages

Hello! I'm going to write numbered replies to your unnumbered questions. Is unnumbered a word? Not sure.

    1. SPaG GaPS is a good idea... except that we already made these books and called them "Foundation Level". A missed opportunity.
    2. Not sure about Surrey, sorry. I'll pass your request to our 11+ team.
    3. Thanks! I'm not sure where this page is... could you point me in the right direction?
    4. In the wide and cylindrical world of traditional and vegetarian sausages, there's something anyone can like.

Thanks for getting in touch. Good luck with your 11+ preparation!

  4. Ordered a ton of books for home schooling my children - so surprised how quickly they arrived - very impressive! Received a free sample book recently too which is excellent customer service. What a great idea - I will definitely be placing another order when my boys have finished their current workbooks. We are particularly fond of the History and Geography books - my boys read those at leisure.

We'd like to cover GCSE Astronomy one day, but the chances aren't sky-high at the moment. Our apologies.

  6. what is the difference between GL Assessment and CEM?

    Guestbook Editor:

Hi! GL and CEM are the two main 'test providers' for the 11+. To the expert eye, there are many subtle differences between the GL and CEM tests... but the most obvious one is the CEM doesn't test students on 'English'. (Well, it does really, but it's wrapped up under the heading of Verbal Reasoning.)

Each area of the country can choose whether to set GL or CEM 11+ tests (or choose another provider), so the test you take usually depends on where you live.

This is the CGP Guestbook. My life's work, rendered worthless in six short words. Or maybe you just mean the internet in general? Let's hope so.

  8. Hello. I love the Functional Skill books. Perfect for my students during lessons. Are you going to make more books for FS English and maths entry level one and two? I do not see any question papers that can be used to evaluate student progress in functional skills at the end of the year either. Also some revision cards would also be a good idea too. But I love the books, they are great. I currently teach English to adults enrolled at a local further education community college. Each member of the class has their own individual copy to use for revision and homework etc. I hand them out in September.

Thanks for your comments — it's great to hear you're a fan of our Functional Skills books.

We're always looking at ways to add to our Functional Skills range, and we've recently made new 10-Minute Tests to go alongside our Study & Practice Books. We can't reveal too much about our plans for the future, let's just say there's more in the pipeline...

Sorry to hear you were having chat problems. Hopefully you'll be able to see it in the bottom-right of every CGP website page now?

  12. Hello CGP,
A CIE iGCSE History book needs to be made. Countless numbers of schools sit this exam. Just because the majority of schools that sit the exam are private schools, it doesn't mean that a book shouldn't be made.

    Guestbook Editor:

Indeed it doesn't. We've recently made books for Cambridge IGCSE Maths and Science, so it's definitely possible we'll look into other subjects in the future. No news for now, though...
