Are there any plans for A level Science revision books?

Steve Price — , UK — 29 Sep 2000 at 14:31:00

I think your books are really good. I wondered if you could send some GCSE PE books to barclay stevenage for a sample so they can get the students to get them. They look really good. I am also glad they have brought out a business studies revision book as I am rubbish at the subject and there isn't really a revision book for business studies. Thanks

A student from Barcaly school — , UK — 28 Sep 2000 at 16:57:00

Have you considered doing a GCSE Drama Guide?

Mark — , UK — 27 Sep 2000 at 19:31:00

We at Westfield Junior School have just received copies of the Nitty Gritty magazine. We actually had a good laugh in the staff room! Brilliant. As regards the books, we are very impressed indeed. They have helped immensely in the children's revision for SATS. The price is very good too.

Stuart Ullyatt — Hinckley , UK — 27 Sep 2000 at 15:52:00

Very impressed with both the revision guides and workbooks that my daughters are using KS2. I am a also a teacher of KS3/4 and would like to know if you have any intentions of bringing out booklets for Technology?

Mrs. K. Keegan — , UK — 26 Sep 2000 at 20:04:00

I am Head of Geography at Lyndon School, Daylesford Road, Solihull,West Midlands. We (the Geography staff) all agree that your GCSE Geography guide is the best value on the market. The ony criticism is that it could contain some "case study" material. However, this would obviously add to the cost of the guide. This is excellent value as it is for GCSE students. Well done.

Mr. B.R.Seal — Coventry, West Midlands , UK — 25 Sep 2000 at 20:13:00

I started using your French GCSE revision guide last year. The pupils loved it and found it easy to use. I noticed that a new German book has come out. How about Spanish? There is an increasing number of schools offering Spanish, but there is very little on the market to help students revise. Could we have a Spanish book soon please.

carine mercier — brighton , UK — 21 Sep 2000 at 12:05:00

My daughter brought a school-issued book home with her to do her science homework. Not only did it help her, but it helped ME! I discovered it was one of your series... so now I'm completely hooked and I've ordered the lot. She'll be lucky to get a look in!

Danny Greenstone — Bedfordshire , UK — 21 Sep 2000 at 09:47:00

Your product looks good but your ordering system put me off buying anything why don't you get a better shopping cart that is attatched to your product. eg when I am looking at key stage three maths books why can't I just ad to cart after I have looked at them. The order form is complicated and does not seem to relate to the samples.

Mike McKenzie — , UK — 20 Sep 2000 at 22:13:00

As a Learning Support Assistant working in a school I would like to purchase for my own retention but use in school copies of some of your books throughout the range. Can these be purchased at school prices or must thay be purchased at retail price.

T. F. Mitchell — CROYDON , UK — 20 Sep 2000 at 21:38:00

Really cool books, congratulations! Have you ever thought of making stiffer backed ones? They wouldn't spoil so quick in my (and other peoples) school bags! Thanks for the Books Charlie

Charlie — , UK — 20 Sep 2000 at 21:35:00

As a Learning Support Assistant in School I have found your books very helpful on subjects that I needed help in putting over.

Claire Morrow-Goodman — Northampton , UK — 20 Sep 2000 at 19:51:00

Where can I get your revision guides in Ontario? I should promote your books with the schoolboard in Ontario. I borrowed a few of these guides from my nephew who just moved back to Canada and they were a wonderful help for my daughter. I am now looking for a revision book in math.

suzanne schleien — whitby, ontario , Canada — 20 Sep 2000 at 18:45:00

Hi - I'm a D&T teacher (KS3/4/5). Are there any plans for some Technology books? I liked the layout of one of your Science revision books that one of my tutor group showed me. Thanks

Tim Moggeridge — Dorset , UK — 20 Sep 2000 at 10:29:00

These books are brill but it's a shame you can't buy them at schools cost, as this proves very costly when you've two children wanting all of them at the same time.

wendy johnstone — , UK — 20 Sep 2000 at 01:15:00

Excellent colourful, humerous books that the children enjoy.

Frances Chapman — Allerton Primary School, Bradf, UK — 19 Sep 2000 at 20:49:00

Peter Cooper — Thornton Cleveleys , UK — 19 Sep 2000 at 12:47:00

Hi CGP. I would just like to praise you for your excellent books. I have just entered Y11 at school which means GCSE's and I have found your books easily understood and fun to read. I never thought revision could be this enjoyable. Maybe I'm ill or something. I have the books for Maths, Biology, Chemistry, French and Physics and I think they make revision very simple. A* here I come (hopefully)... James

James Bates — Sunderland , UK — 18 Sep 2000 at 21:47:00

Received your Business Studies GCSE revision guide. Many thanks. Very impressive. Sadly, Business Studies is only offered at A Level at this School. We do, on the other hand, teach GCSE Economics and I would certainly appreciate a similar publication for this subject. Is this a likelyhood ? Are you looking for anyone to produce one ?

colin mcfall — Dame Allan's Schools, Newcastl, UK — 18 Sep 2000 at 17:14:00

G W Webb — Rossholme School, Somerset , UK — 16 Sep 2000 at 16:13:00

Are you planning to extend your History range? 1000AD - 1500 in Britain, would be most helpful for the 11-14 age. Also GCSE Spanish would be useful.

Mrs K Parrett — , UK — 16 Sep 2000 at 11:00:00

I have been using your books since year 7 (I am now in year 10), and I have found them very helpful. They have bosted my Key Stage 3 SAT results and I am looking to do the same with my GCSE results. I find your books extremely easy to understand and would recomend them to anybody. Keep the good work up.

Brilliant Science books - the index for the KS3 book is hysterical. I teach at a boarding school and we actually catch our kids reading these books in bed, after lights out. There can be no higher praise

Dick Keighley — Dorset , UK — 10 Sep 2000 at 23:06:00

I'm having my year 9 SATS in a few days and I'd just like to say that your books have helped me prepare and what to expect in my SATS. I'm confident now, I feel no worry and i really want them to come! Thanks! Sarah

Sarah — Manchester , UK — 10 Sep 2000 at 21:08:00

Excellent books, excellent value! Brilliant presentation and have helped my son achieve 9 GCSE at C and above. We keep scanning the shelves and the web site for the A level books! I say thanks...he says "enuff good" (despite B in English)!!!

Dave Brookes — Huddersfield , UK — 10 Sep 2000 at 19:08:00

The advantage over other publications' websites is that you give sample pages from your texts. This is absolutely vital when trying to purchase books overseas.

Barbara Deveney — Int'l School of the Regents, B, Thailand — 10 Sep 2000 at 14:43:00

Dear sir or Madam, I am a primary school teacher and have worked as a private tutor, from home, for many years now. I teach children aged 5 to 14 years and sometimes older. Both Maths and English. I love your books and buy a great many of them each year. hoever, I am upset that I am penalised in the sense that I have to pay full price for the books for my students. I hope you would consider selling me some of your books at the £2 per book price. Hopefully yours, Suzanne Sullivan (Mrs)

Suzanne Sullivan (Mrs) — Leicester , UK — 10 Sep 2000 at 14:24:00

The CGP books are an excellent revision tool because they are colourful succinct and emphasise all the key words and concepts.

Martin Lear — Stortford, Herts , UK — 09 Sep 2000 at 20:35:00

An excellent series of books! I got 2 7s and a 6. One day into my GCSEs and I've already ordered every relavent guide for my GCSEs. Please do A-level and GCSE Drama, Spanish and Graphics. BRILLIANT BOOKS!!!

HOLLY BROWN — MAIDSTONE, KENT , UK — 09 Sep 2000 at 17:53:00

I have bought three of you books to help me with my SATs later this year, they are great!

Katrina Rockey — Newton Abbot , UK — 09 Sep 2000 at 15:44:00

My German teacher is not very good. She can not controll the group and I was wondering wether you could have a GCSE BOOK IN GERMAN PLEASE!!!!! as you do in french. This would really help me and I want to know why it costs more to buy the workbooks with answers then without. Please think about it as over 90 in my year are taking German and 8 are doing French and German. PS your maths and science books are great-make some A-Level ones (referably in law, English and business studies

Becky — , UK — 09 Sep 2000 at 15:24:00

I hope I find your books effective for my GCSE'S They have already been a big help in my Year 10 Exams Good Luck to anyone taking their exams in the summer of 2001.

Worried about GCSE's — , UK — 09 Sep 2000 at 15:14:00

As a teacher I think these books are fantastic. They give clear and concise information and illustrations which are enjoyable to read. Keep up the good work.

Yasmin Ahmad — King Edward VI Camp Hill Girls, UK — 08 Sep 2000 at 15:30:00

excellent selection of books-I am a teacher and a parent, and I use them for my class as well as ordering them for my daughter! Keep up the good work Chris Stone

Chris Stone — Exeter , UK — 06 Sep 2000 at 21:52:00

Fantastic website and great value books BUT why don't you make them photocopiable. Then teachers like myself would probably purchase them ourselves (as school funds often do not permit) and actually be able to use them in class instead of wishing that we could actually use the materials whilst trying to get some money out of school funds !!

Andrea Ashford — , UK — 06 Sep 2000 at 21:12:00

I'm interested in viewing sample booklets of KS2 Literacy Hour, Years 3-4- The Chewy Bits and also KS2 Literacy Hour, Years 5-6-The Tricky Bits. Please send to me at the above address.

Amerdeep — Birmingham , UK — 05 Sep 2000 at 23:48:00

Got to say that I prefer your revision books to any others. They're colourful, small, fun and cheap. I got 3 7s in my SATs last term with your revision book and will continue to use them for my 2 year GCSE course that starts tomorrow :) Thanks d00ds!

Tanuj Shah — , UK — 05 Sep 2000 at 21:33:00

I am using the books for my GCSE revision and they're really useful, but do you plan to bring one out for Drama GCSE as it is a course that many students are now taking and would find very useful. Also, do you do A-Level books?

Kerry Barlow — , UK — 04 Sep 2000 at 16:49:00

Susie Rees — , UK — 04 Sep 2000 at 14:50:00
