Dear CGP I really love your books they are Great. At first I had to beg my mum to get them but now she thinks they are great and I don't even have to ask before she's on the internet ordering them. I am doing my Key Stage 3 SATs this year and I am finding your books really helpful. Right now we are waiting to order the new Key Stage 3 Extra Practise Papers that are coming out next year I can't wait. My mum loves your company, the thing she loves best is that you receive the books the next day you order. Please send us your new 2004 catalogue. Thanks.

Your books are really helpful... thanks!
Pooja — , UK — 30 Dec 2003 at 18:41:00
Hello to all readers. I'm currently browsing your site while on my lunch break. I've recently finished a GCSE revision course, in which your book came up a lot with a positive response. The website is O.K. but the books are obviously your priority. Well done!
Prof . Edward H Cunningham — , UK — 30 Dec 2003 at 15:33:00
In your book for "aqa modular science early modules" I have noticed that you have made a mistake with the charges on page 95. You said "opposite charges repel and same charges attract". It should have been: opposite charges attract and same charges repel. You have also got the pulmonary vein and pulmonary artery incorrect. Pulmonary vein should carry oxygenated blood back to the heart from the lungs. You said the pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood to the lungs from the heart. Please make sure you correct these mistakes and stop confusion among children as you did for my class. Please acknowledge that you have received these comments. Thank you.

CGP books are hilarious! All my American friends love them They say they wish they could use my books
Nityananda das Reyes — , UK — 29 Dec 2003 at 20:19:00
Hey CGP. I live by your books. My mum's been getting them for me since I was in primary school, I'm now in year 10.Would it be possible for you to set me out a rough guide of revision methods and a rough guide for a revision timetable. It would really help me because this is where I always slip up. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!
Kaydeen Cotterell — West Norwood, London , UK — 29 Dec 2003 at 17:19:00
This website is ace!
Abdul Mohhhamed — , UK — 29 Dec 2003 at 16:50:00
I love these books, they're really helping me with my studies! With these I might JUST be able to pass my exams. Although I am a bit disappointed to see that you don't do a revision book on classics!
Jessica — , UK — 27 Dec 2003 at 11:34:00
I think the website is great and so are the books. My 7 year old sister and I use them and they make a real difference in our work and exams. I also think that people who think these books are rubbish, are idiot's. Poeple like them are also cowards because they feel free to speak like that but they cannot even put their names down.
Rumana Islam — , UK — 26 Dec 2003 at 19:45:00
Hey guys. I am a 15 year old pupil and my worst subject to revise is Physics because of the calculations. I am pretty good at Maths and I used the following method of study. For each topic, I had 2 cards handy. On one, I wrote down the things I could understand and on the other piece, I wrote down the stuff I found hard. After revision, the first card was filled with stuff and the second card had ticks on it. Try it!
Shreyas Puranik — Kent , UK — 26 Dec 2003 at 18:39:00
Hi. we just had our test last week so we can practise our sats so I used one of your books for revision. Guess what, I got all a level 4 in my exam the books you publish are the greatest they are so easy to understand.
Sarah Stevenson — , UK — 26 Dec 2003 at 13:41:00
I placed an order by fax yesterday afternoon (22/12/03) for a considerable number of revision guides thinking that delivery would be sometime after Christmas. To my amazement the order was delivered here in Bournemouth by 3pm the next day! This is unbelievable service - thank you very much.
John Johnson — Glenmoor School for Girls, Bou, UK — 23 Dec 2003 at 15:32:00
Why are the books cheaper in schools than in shops?
Amy Slater — Sidcup, Kent , UK — 23 Dec 2003 at 14:44:00
I really like the books. I have Maths, English and Science but I find revision fairly difficult. Also, I think that the books should contain a revision package or video. So you send us a video on our chosen subject for a small fee and over a course of a few weeks that will help us revise in smaller chunks!
Chelsea Watts — Bournemouth, Dorset , UK — 23 Dec 2003 at 14:14:00
Hi! I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year. I would like to propose that you should have some past papers on the net for free. Also if you will be able to add some more pages to your online revision program in the science, Maths, and French sections, thank you.
Murtaza Kanji — Moshi, Kilimanjaro , Tanzania — 23 Dec 2003 at 06:37:00
It's your books that got me my fab GCSE results. I got at least one grade higher than predicted in all of my exams and I now attend the top college in the country. So all my thanks, all I would like now is a complete set for a levels but its a bit late for me cause I'm already in my last year so how about some guides for Uni?
Lizzie Hope — , UK — 22 Dec 2003 at 21:18:00
I think it needs pages with questions and answers on! So pupils can test their knowledge on the subjects after reading the revision pages! But other than that it is very helpful
Kelly — , UK — 22 Dec 2003 at 19:27:00
I think your books are really simulating but not very well laid out, I realise that space has to be considered but I am sure laying the pages out better would help the learning process. Other than that they are super books and I think they make excellent revision and reference books and have been particularly useful to me when looking for information that I don't have in my school notes already. Thank you very much and keep up the good work.
Maz — , UK — 22 Dec 2003 at 17:07:00
This is a great revision book that I read so I can not wait to read another.
Sabrina.Gregson — Hadley , UK — 22 Dec 2003 at 14:25:00
It would be really great if you could put on some revision pages or answer pages for some of your GCSE workbooks. I have got a worksheet on Seismic Waves from the GCSE physics book which I was given by my teacher. Unfortunately I do not have the answers and therefore do not know whether or not I have got the correct answers or not. Please could you send them to me via e-mail or add them to your website? Thank you for your time.
Sarah Guershon — , UK — 22 Dec 2003 at 11:24:00
Are you going to have a statistics revision guide because I can't find one any where and I think your revision guides are very useful, I love reading your books thank you. And please can you produce a statistics revision guide.
Clare — , UK — 22 Dec 2003 at 10:25:00
Well, its very simple you make good books. Thank you CGP. By the way an Economics book wouldn't go a miss.
David Crawley — , UK — 21 Dec 2003 at 23:54:00
Just wanted to say a BIG thanks to CGP books! I've used nearly all the GCSE ones for my revision and I couldn't live without them, honest. They've helped me so much. I've recently purchased 'Of Mice And Men' GCSE English it's so useful and full of great tips! If anyone uses any other revision guide you're mad! Buy CGP they are the best, just try them please! I've also got maths, all sciences, English, geography, French and loads more. I'd just like to say one negative thing, but it's not really
Diana Hughes — Newport, Gwent , UK — 21 Dec 2003 at 14:21:00
I want some questions please.
Oliver — , UK — 20 Dec 2003 at 21:45:00
These are great books! They got me through my GCSE's with good grades last year. But now I need them for my AS levels and A2. Are you going to do more subjects at these levels?
Martin Moore — , UK — 20 Dec 2003 at 19:10:00
Why don't you have any AS science revision books for the entire course?
Helen Jones — , UK — 20 Dec 2003 at 16:42:00
Hi & Merry Christmas. I would be pleased if you could send me the CGP Books Catalogue. Thank you very much.

Are you planning to publish an A-level Biology Revision book early next year?
H.S. — , UK — 18 Dec 2003 at 18:48:00
When are you going to make A-level Science revision books?
Anonymous — , UK — 18 Dec 2003 at 18:45:00
I really liked the books. They were a real inspiration for me and helped me to go on to work in churches across Britain. Thanks a lot!
Phil Jones — Liverpool , UK — 18 Dec 2003 at 10:29:00

Katy B — Huddersfield, West Yorkshire , UK — 17 Dec 2003 at 18:43:00
Hi from Canada, I grew up in England and moved to Canada when I was 12 years old. When I went back for a visit about 4 years ago I was so excited to find your school curriculum books. I couldn't fit enough into my suitcase. They are extremely well written and concise. I also like the added sense of humour. I bought them for my children but I always use them myself as a refresher. I am in the process of checking out your website which is also fantastic. Keep up the excellent work. PS. Your books
Debra Chodan — Oshawa, Ontario , Canada — 16 Dec 2003 at 16:42:00
Your books are great! Things are broken down into basic language which means that it is easier to understand hard concepts. However I think you need to do more AS/A Level books not just GCSE and KS 1,2&3. It is good that you have done a 'Mind The Gap' AS book but can you do Revision guides and Workbooks for most of the AS Level subjects.
Miss Brown — , UK — 16 Dec 2003 at 12:49:00
I think the books are really easy and helpful for revision. It makes the work much more easier. But I do think in each subject you should always have a practise book instead of having just the revision book. You should add all the subject in the books and on the online revision on this site to help us more. Especially KS3, GCSE and A level. You should include music and German in A level as well. Have geography, history, music, German, Spanish in practise booklets for ks3, GCSE and A level.
Charlie Maguire — North Brixton, London , UK — 15 Dec 2003 at 22:17:00
I got all B's and above in my GCSE's thanks to CGP books
Nick — , UK — 15 Dec 2003 at 17:30:00
Why do you not have any statistics practise papers
Barry Giff — , UK — 15 Dec 2003 at 14:44:00
I am in year 11 at the moment and I'm going on to college to take childcare. You said CGP have a revision guide for the GCSE child development but do you do anything on College courses?
Lesley — , UK — 15 Dec 2003 at 11:25:00
CGP revision books are great, I've been using them since yr 6 and I am now doing my GCSE's! I think they are good and helps me revise heaps! But I think the website would be better if you did practice papers, it would help a lot. Thanks
Anonymous — , UK — 14 Dec 2003 at 21:21:00
It is a wicked site I would recommend it to everyone I know.
Jason — Borehamwood , UK — 14 Dec 2003 at 20:17:00
I love CGP books, I love them so much compared to teachers that sometimes I don't listen in class but just catch the topic, then look them up in the CGP books
Taiba — , UK — 14 Dec 2003 at 18:30:00
Your books are all rubbish, the jokes are extremely unfunny and predictable, and you make ridiculous comments about what you think is correct, and the right way to do everything, and you are unfailingly wrong. You treat people as if they are machines who are stupid and must learn everything your way, the wrong way. The result: you scare people into thinking exams are difficult, mysterious and a lot harder and more important than they really are. And no-one will ever become intelligent, clever or get good results by using your guides. They make them less likely to actually enjoy what they are doing, and, unlike me, they will never truly excel because they will never enjoy learning , and see it as a necessary, but annoying series of difficult tests which they must learn the correct, secret methods of revision and learning from your disgusting, useless and unfunny books to get through. No one using them will ever learn anything they will retain, or learn how to do well in exams. The secret of that is simply intelligence. I did virtually no revision, suffered no exam stress and got many results of 100% or close to it in both my GCSEs and A levels. I think what you are doing, your disgusting generealised comments about the correct way to do exams, what people must learn, your authoritarian approach to revision which resembled a tough telling off rather than encouragement, and your ridiculous, simplistic attempt at jokes, you say designed to keep people amused, is unfunny, obviously so, a silly diversion from actual learning and even possibly damaging to the real process of learning. Equally, your self-satisfied tone and overconfidence in your assertions about the value of your awful revision books and their humour, and how important they are, is disgusting and completely unwarranted, as anyone will see from the terrible standard of their contents. In trivialising everything, as you do, and in your authoritarian tone and unhelpful attempts at humour, and in the implicit commanding, repressive tone in which you suggest constantly that exams and revision require lots of work, and are difficult and unpleasant, all you do is make the unfortunate people who use your books think exams must be difficult, close their minds to the joy of learning and the interesting, serious subjects which they are studying. Revision is neither as difficult nor as important as you make it out to be; in fact, it hardly matters at all. It is what you do when you are at school that matters, as I think my case proves. None of the exam technique nor ridiculous copying out of every piece of information you compel your readers to do is pleasant or necessary. There is no such thing as exam technique, nor should they be. Intelligence will always win out in exam results, no matter how much unhelpful publications like yours try to sabotage a system which tries to be fair to all by testing their intelligence and knowledge, learned over their time at school. Finally, your assumption that everything is harder than it is and that people must really work hard to learn it can only have the effect of making people think this is true, when in reality, almost everything your books claim to combat, that pupils really want, is a load of rubbish, and you are too short-sighted to see that it is you who are doing the damage, and by telling that it is hard, they may start thinking it, when in reality, if they were told exams are easy, simply a test of what they have been learning for years, and needn't do extra revision of learning except at school, exams would be for them, as they were for me, merely simple and easy, with no stress, even enjoyable, with pleasant consequences. You are blind to reality of the education system and the purpose of education, and too overconfident, and narrow-minded to see that all the statements you make about school, about exams and what people should learn are damaging, wrong, and do the opposite of help people who should enjoy their education as a means of learning and discovery, and a pleasant, unstressful one, at that, rather than trivialise everything and reduce it to something forced upon you for the purposes of exams and merely necessary to get through for who-knows-what purpose, because no-one using your books will ever reach the level of enjoyment of their study or natural ability and pleasure in it to proceed any further than GCSE or AS level. If they are finding GCSE hard, as it is implicit in your guides that they should be, perhaps you ought to suggest they shouldn't carry on with education anyway. You are right that there are problems in the education system today, but your proposed solutions to it, though your books, only serve to worsen it, not go to the causes of it and bring about the kind of long-term, major changes that would render the kind of things you find necessary to say in your books, and the tone you adopt, the trivial, authoritarian revision-is-hard, exams-are-bad, you-are-stupid, school-is-hard rhetoric, obsolete.

Dan — Bristol , UK — 12 Dec 2003 at 17:03:00
Forgive me if the information is right under my nose, but what does CGP stand for?!
Emily — Bishops Stortford , UK — 12 Dec 2003 at 16:00:00
Why are your GCSE Music revision books SO much more expensive than any other subject? I would recommend these to my students if they were a fair price compared to the others.
Jane — , UK — 12 Dec 2003 at 15:24:00
Erm, yea your books are ok. They are brilliant if your taking Higher... Keep up the good work and get a decent site? I could make better than this with ASP and PHP and I'm 15..so employ someone to do it.
Imster — , UK — 12 Dec 2003 at 01:08:00
I'd really appreciate history modern world practice papers as well - otherwise great!!
Anonymous — , USA — 11 Dec 2003 at 21:29:00
To be honest I really think that CGP revision books are the best I have been using them from Y7 to Y9 and will use them for my GCSE's. As I am in Y9 I have my SATs coming and I went really bad at maths and was really unhappy BUT then the CGP books came along and now I am better at Maths. I really would recommend these books to anyone in my school and I would just like to thank you for being such wonderful people it also helps me learn better with the funny pictures!
Shanza — Swansea , UK — 11 Dec 2003 at 21:20:00
Hi, I really find your books good and everything but you haven't got 'The Merchant of Venice' by Shakespeare! But you have all the other books (GCSE's) it's not fair! Please have all the books out! It'll help a lot of people out! You mark my words!
Mez — slough , UK — 11 Dec 2003 at 19:33:00
I have just ordered the Higher KS3 Science Multipack, The Maths Workbook and Answers, and a Maths exam, and the English Macbeth Exam and Workbook and Answer Book! I hope they are good, and it only cost me £23.45, that's great, because kids aren't exactly RICH!

Now I'm doing AS and hope you make books for my subjects: Further Maths, Business Studies and English Literature. I already bought the modules for Maths you have to offer - I just hope you keep making them for all the maths modules. Please help me pass again!

A great website
Kim — , UK — 10 Dec 2003 at 18:33:00
I think that you should make a GCSE Practice paper for history to give everyone a test. Also you should do online papers like other sites.
Alison Telford — Hartford, Cheshire , UK — 10 Dec 2003 at 17:28:00
I think your books are great, but a bit pricey. Everyone should be able to buy the books at the "schools and colleges" price. These are the prices they should be at! You'd attract more customers.
SARA — , UK — 10 Dec 2003 at 15:14:00
Cool website and books, revision is still boring though!
Jennie mc — , UK — 10 Dec 2003 at 11:44:00
The books and site are great! They are really helping me to revise for my mocks.
Lisa — , UK — 09 Dec 2003 at 21:43:00
This is so much better than other revision books — I love them but unfortunately I cannot afford all of the books, they cost too much. I just wish that the prices would go down, so that I could actually get some decent grades on my GCSE exams. I have the Geography, Maths and English ones, but they cost too much. Please put the prices down, we're teenagers after all; we don't earn money, we're still at school. Great site though, cheers!
Mart! — Bolton, Manchester , UK — 09 Dec 2003 at 20:50:00

Your books are GREAT, I finally understand MATHS but there isn't one for Child development.
Leah — Luton , UK — 05 Dec 2003 at 20:51:00
I bought your revision guides and I still failed. Cool!
Bob — , UK — 05 Dec 2003 at 19:30:00
Your books are great but I am not doing modern history. I am doing about the industrial revolution and agriculture etc. Why is there not a revision guide for this subject. Why? I need one to help me get through my exams.
Becca — , UK — 05 Dec 2003 at 17:23:00
Your books are brill, but whoa those prices are way too high! We cant afford nearly £5 a book, I'd have to fail my exams. I'd want to get more like we got our first one free off school but I am certainly not paying those prices just for one book however much they help me
Sam — The Petersfield School, Hants , UK — 05 Dec 2003 at 16:04:00
I have found your books very resourceful and have found them very interesting. Since using your books I have become more confident at just having a go. They are not boring and it makes me want to do my science homework. They were given out at school and are much more knowledgeable and fun than the ones we were given at the start of the year!
Sam Stephens — , UK — 05 Dec 2003 at 15:43:00

David Welch — , UK — 04 Dec 2003 at 20:15:00

I think CGP are the best for revision guides and practice papers for GCSE. You are a lot better than other peoples revision as your guides are clearer. With your revision guide I gained an A* in history, thanks!

Hello there. I really love your books. They're really good and easy to read. But I also noticed that there's a mistake in one of your books! I don't mean to be fussy about it, but it's really bugging me! In the AQA coordinated science Materials and their properties the revision guide higher and foundation tiers for the 2003, 2004 and 2005 exams on page 32 chemical reactions, about a third of the way down the page, it says "DISSLOVED"(?!) is this meant to mean "dissolved" or does it mean I am dis-loved?

Great website! A lot of help to me as I am doing my GCSE'S at the minute Thanks a lot CGP.

This is a very good site
Hayley Bellairs — Aldershot, Hants , UK — 03 Dec 2003 at 20:41:00
I had hoped that you would have by now extended the revision section to some of the other subjects studied such as the modular sciences and maybe history. Any way your doing a good job at CGP thank you very much.
Theresa Akinlade — London , UK — 03 Dec 2003 at 19:27:00
Can you please tell me if you do a revision guide for GCSE Electronic Products?
Kelly Nugent — , UK — 03 Dec 2003 at 19:20:00
This is a great website and such ingenious revision guides, they really have helped me with my exams, thanks CGP!
Si — Spalding, Lincs , UK — 03 Dec 2003 at 12:22:00
CGP are the best for revision guides, simple as that
John Tranter — Sunbury, Middlesex , UK — 03 Dec 2003 at 09:45:00
Hiya, just love this revision site
Leah — Thornaby , UK — 03 Dec 2003 at 09:39:00
CGP books are very helpful with revising and all that, but I just wish you would have a section on the online revision page for Geography. Thanks.
Flavia — , Malaysia — 03 Dec 2003 at 03:08:00
The books really helped me and I think if you had some maths games on the website it will be even better
Lyndsey — Denton , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 20:36:00
I really hope everybody gets a good mark, good luck
Paige Emma Doherty — Denton, Manchester , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 20:33:00
I find the revision guides highly useful in the subjects they are available in, but would like to enquire if there are any plans for a classical civilization guide at GCSE level?
Laura Evans — , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 20:04:00
I have all of the CGP GCSE revision books, and they are great! But as I am taking GCSE ARABIC too, I was wondering if there were going to be any revision/practice books for ARABIC, as it would be very useful to me and others who are also taking it! Thank you!
Rayya — Sutton, Surrey , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 20:01:00
I like your books because they make me want to have fun in the lessons I have. I am in yr7 and I need all of them so I can understand the teacher better and that's when the fun comes in. That's why I don't want to be different from others. So if they say I am dumb I don't have to answer them with rude words, so please give all of them to me. The students treat me like an animal so please let me have a chance.

Hi I have some of CGP's science books which I think are very good but the jokes are awful I have to say!
Lawrence — , Northern Ireland — 02 Dec 2003 at 19:16:00
Have you got a revision guide on Media Studies? Please e-mail me back soon, as I have a test tomorrow and I need to revise for it. Thanks for reading this.
April Williams — Leicester , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 18:44:00
I have one more day left of doing my GCSE modular's (yr 10) and I decided to try and use this site for revision and I enjoy the books! I was disappointed to see that it doesn't cover the things I needed and had no test papers! Apart from that the books are great!
Sarah — Wrexham , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 18:13:00
Good, but you could have some practise papers for people to do
Kirsty — , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 17:35:00

Do you have a revision book for GCSE Economics?
Tracy Jobling — Hinckley, Leicestershire , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 17:11:00
I really like the CGP books, they are great, but I think it would be really useful if there was practice tests on the website. Thank you for your time.
Laura — , UK — 02 Dec 2003 at 11:57:00
I love your textbooks, specifically chemistry and wishes to get one, but finances is like a barrier. So if you will wish to help me I will appreciate it, I love studying but the above stated problem has been a barrier in cases like this. But I believe with you my God will come to my aid. Thanks and more grease to your elbow for your handwork is good.

This is a very good revision site for me! I have liked the practice papers and the books are brilliant. Thank you so much for this and good luck in the future.
Rebecca Piper — , UK — 01 Dec 2003 at 18:32:00
I think CGP books are the BEST? But for English Lit I am studying the novel 'Anita and Me', and the play I am doing is 'A view from the bridge', I was just wondering if there were any books on these?
Evangelos — , UK — 01 Dec 2003 at 17:25:00
CGP is a godsend! I would never have got through my GCSE's without them. The books are so easy to revise from and scarily make revision almost fun! The science revision guides are all I used for my sciences GCSE's and I came out with 2 A*s and an A in them - thank you CGP!
Rachel — , UK — 01 Dec 2003 at 17:24:00
I think that your books make revision a lot easier, but my hardest subject doesn't have a revision guide - sociology! Why not? I'm confused!
