Hello, this is an amazing website and it has really helped me a lot.
Jessica — London, United Kingdom — 29 Apr 2009 at 19:07:08
I don't like this. As soon as I signed up all your prices went up. This is mad. You can't do this. It's ridiculous paying such prices for our education.

I think that CGP is a fantastic way to get your grades up. I am a teacher and I would definitely recommend CGP. Well done CGP.

Very, very good to find the book I was after. Excellent. Not so keen on having to put in my mastercard billing address details. Never done that on any other web site.
Paul Hulme — Willington, United Kingdom — 28 Apr 2009 at 11:23:29
The books are useful. The price could be better, otherwise I would buy more. But my school order them in so they are cheaper.
Ellie — Fleet, United Kingdom — 27 Apr 2009 at 20:53:44
In September I start 9 courses for my GCSEs. I have to do it for two years and to make sure I get everything right I'm going to buy a book for every subject. Problem is it's going to cost me a lot - maybe there should be a special offer for people who buy 4 or more books?
Abbie — Grays, United Kingdom — 27 Apr 2009 at 18:10:59
CGP books were great for my GCSEs last year. Shame there aren''t any books for my A-level subjects though.

Efficient fast service which is very much appreciated! Great books too!
Maureen Slaven — Skipton, United Kingdom — 27 Apr 2009 at 15:10:11
CGP books are really brilliant. Before I used them I only got Cs or Bs in science, but after using the core science one last year I got an A* and 100 percent in one exam. I was amazed! I've sent off for lots to help me with the exams coming up this year.
Clara — Swansea, United Kingdom — 26 Apr 2009 at 15:04:03
It is very useful to just take down notes.

Would honestly not have passed my Chemistry GCSE without CGP! Thank you sooo much!

I absolutely love CGP because I can always rely on the books and the website to guide me in the right direction, especially as we're getting closer to SATS!
Becca — Banbury, United Kingdom — 24 Apr 2009 at 21:49:59
I have a French study guide and I use it so much. I love it to bits. It contains everything I need for exams and more useful stuff. If the prices were slighty cheaper I would buy tons more. They are really good for last minute revision as well as long term revision and well planned revision.

I could not believe the wide range of books that are available on your site
Angela Lavery — Aguadulce , Spain — 24 Apr 2009 at 17:00:26

A simple to use effective site.
Anthony Saunders — wisbech , United Kingdom — 24 Apr 2009 at 08:38:51
I love this website because when my teacher tells me to do my home work and I don't understand it I can come on this website and it will help me to understand it , more than it helps me in the CGP book.
Justice — london, United Kingdom — 23 Apr 2009 at 20:08:24
These books are abseloutly fab! The contents are brill but they are a bit too expensive. If the price was cheaper I would definitely buy a lot more for my other subjects.

I think you should increase your product range to cover more subjects people do and not just a fraction. Like geology, economics, history, Italian etc. The books that you do produce are really good quality. i just think you should diversify into new subjects, so more people can benefit.
Paul Sanderson — Newcastle, United Kingdom — 23 Apr 2009 at 14:55:54

Please make the books a bit cheaper! They're too expensive!!

The books are really good but could you supply them all around the globe? See, I live all the way away in Africa - West Africa, Nigeria and I can't fly all the way to the UK now can I? Wish me luck, I have checkpoint in 2 weeks!

Why do I have to pay extra for answers which should have been included in the workbook? Surely this is a mistake!

Please could you make some AS/A2 Level economics books. All the others are so good but I'm studying economics with OCR and could do with CGP's help!
Jordan Plant — Worcester, United Kingdom — 20 Apr 2009 at 19:10:09
OMG! SATs coming up in a week. These books are really good. They don't get you bored so when you have time you can just sit down and revise. Thanks to these books more revision, more grades!

My son is preparing for his Year 6 SATs and he has been using the SCIENCE Study booklet. Brilliant !
Jackie Rice — Horsham , United Kingdom — 20 Apr 2009 at 17:32:54
The books are really helpful and funny so you don't have to be bored when you're learning.
Plus when I ordered a catalogue it reached me so quickly with good prices. I've got my SATs coming soon this year so using your books. I feel much more confident using your books so please wish me luck :)
Thanks a lot for making me enjoy my learning more than I used to. :):):):)

Sarah — Brighton, United Kingdom — 18 Apr 2009 at 20:30:42
I love all the CGP books. They are really good for revision. However, I think that there should be more practice papers for e.g. geography.

ammad amjad — manchester, United Kingdom — 18 Apr 2009 at 00:11:38
Love the colours, really helpful as I like to visualise the part I have to remember. And the amount of detail is perfect.
But, when you are a few weeks from the exam and are concentrating, the jokes do not help - they are good when you first get them, or when you are just doing a little work on the side, but when it counts, they are quite annoying. Funny, but annoying.

I like this website and I like the books and last year I had SATS in year 6 and I had to revise Science, English and Maths. I got 5 for Maths, 5 for Science and 4 for English. But the books really helped me so I would like to say thank you and I especially liked the CGP test papers.

EABR51 — AS-Level English Language AQA B Revision Guide
I have been taking notes from this revision guide and it is very useful, goes into depth, and covers most of the content that is required.
I can only say that the sources for the exam style questions could be slightly shorter to resemble the length of the sources that will appear in the exam. Other than that, it's really good!
(PS The delivery was ace!)
Ricky — Bradford, United Kingdom — 16 Apr 2009 at 23:56:55
These books are really helpful, but I have just done some work on something I hadn't even heard of, and I was completely stuck as even my dad (who is a maths wizz) didn't know what it was. I think it would help if the books explained the topic in greater detail, like previous books I have had. One had a glossary at the front of the book, and one had a page in great detail about the topic.
Nicki — Manchester (Greater), United Kingdom — 16 Apr 2009 at 12:35:27
I am not happy with your shipping charges. Students should get discount in shipping charges.
Shams Kamaruddin — Kowloon, Hong Kong — 15 Apr 2009 at 16:08:26
These books are great, but a bit more detail is required. The topics are not covered in as much detail as I need to learn. But they are still GREAT!
Abhishek — Ilford , United Kingdom — 15 Apr 2009 at 12:13:20
I quite like your books but they are too colourful and they make my eyes hurt.

I really enjoyed reading the History Study Book. It helps because next term in class we will be talking about the Anglo-Saxons and the History study book is jam packed with Anglo-Saxon History.
Simisola Onanuga — Shirley, United Kingdom — 14 Apr 2009 at 15:25:29
I have found your revision guides VERY helpful. They make more sense than the officially endorsed book usually does. I could do the exam from just reading the guide (obviously I don''t).
For the AS/A level guides, the availability of guides for more subjects would be brilliant, even though they would be too late for me.

The CGP workbook does not have any answers - how do I check that I've got them right? Stupid!
— , United Kingdom — 13 Apr 2009 at 20:36:27
Guestbook Editor: Sorry - we often publish answers separately so you're not tempted to take a sneaky peek. If you give us a call and let us know which workbook you have, we'll try to help.
Great books! They have made my revising so much more enjoyable, but the prices on your website should be cheaper.
A studious student — , United Kingdom — 13 Apr 2009 at 17:50:58
I have quite a collection of CGP books from most subjects and they make it so easy to revise. I take them on holiday and read them whenever I have some spare time. They're very clear and easily undertandable, and make revision slightly more bearable!
It would be even better if a revision guide for Classical Civilisation was published, as I study it and find it very difficult at times. If all my other revision guides from CGP have helped me get to grips with subjects, I'm sure this new guide would too. I would definitely buy it and recommend it to my classmates. Thank you!
Rebecca — Portsmouth, United Kingdom — 13 Apr 2009 at 14:00:56
CPG books have really helped my child. They are really good and have made her love all her subjects. Keep up the good work - you have done a fantastic job so far.

Why don't you do separate science books for KS3?
Ryan — , United Kingdom — 12 Apr 2009 at 12:25:07
Guestbook Editor: We do have separate Workbooks, but guess you're talking about Revision Guides. The Complete Revision & Practice book should cover what you need, but it's in a single book. Take a look at the contents pages on our web site and see what you think. The book code's SHS31.
I hate these books. Ban then for life. They are so horrid. Doing more work from these book in the holidays. That is SO unfair.

Hello there CGP people! My name is Kirsty and I am a 21yr old mature student retaking A-Levels so I can go to uni next year. I remember using your books for my GCSEs (you got me A/A at double-award science, thank you!). Unfortunately you don't appear to make any Geology books, which is a bit of a shame. I know it's not taught in a lot of places but a lot of people take a keen interest in it.
Kirsty-Jane — Bedford, United Kingdom — 10 Apr 2009 at 14:37:37
I find CGP revision guides amazingly helpful and I wanted to order them for all my subjects but you don't sell one for GCSE English Literature post 1914 poetry.

I think that CGP books are a really good way of teaching. My child who is 12 hated English and now she loves it. I home school my children and so I thank you for bringing my children out of themselves and liking school for once in their lives. THANKS AGAIN

Why do you not have any A2 Maths revision guides?!
Anna — Manchester, United Kingdom — 08 Apr 2009 at 21:41:46
Why don't you make a triple science book? Or, some tests? Because that way you can make CGP more popular. Well, I think so. >:)
Mohammed — London, United Kingdom — 08 Apr 2009 at 21:06:46
On your interactive site you only seem to have Maths, English, Science and French. As a student who is studying for their GCSE and uses your books it would be helpful if you can put on all books that you publish as I can tell if I have revised the correct things and play on the games that you offer to see if I am hitting my revision well.
— , United Kingdom — 08 Apr 2009 at 18:15:17
Hi CGP! I think your books are great! I have loads for my GCSEs! I love how you take up less of my 'brain space' by using conversational language, that way I just have to focus on the topic at hand. Your prices are reasonable and they're 3 for 2 in most places! Please wish me luck for my exams Mr. Replier Man / Mrs. Replier Woman!
Please reply!! :D

Student — London, United Kingdom — 08 Apr 2009 at 14:00:21
It would be useful if, when you order a book off the website, it tells you how long it will take to be delivered. If it does already say that somewhere then maybe make it more visible.
Emma — London, United Kingdom — 08 Apr 2009 at 13:48:45
Guestbook Editor: Thanks Emma. Good point. We're very proud of our next day delivery so we'll try and make it a bit more obvious.
I think all of your books are fantastic. However there is no GCSE classical civilisation or latin guides AT ALL on the site and hardly anywhere does them. They would be a huge help, trust me, and you would get a lot of business by putting them on. Please - this would be amazing. And also history. You need all of the courses on there, not nearly enough, and history is a big subject. Thank you.
jessica — newcastle, United Kingdom — 08 Apr 2009 at 13:43:41
Have you ever considered CD-ROMS? Got some the other day and they were rubbish — that's £35 I'll never get back again! Seriously though, it would be really good for GCSE students. And I'd know they would be good because CGP would have made them!
Darren — London, United Kingdom — 07 Apr 2009 at 22:38:14
The GCSE Higher maths revision book is really good. It covers all the topics needed in the Edexcel course. However I got the geography revision guide and it wasnt nearly to the same standard. It displayed all the simple ideas and covered all the topics but only briefly. This book would never get you an A* at GCSE whereas I think the maths one could.
— , United Kingdom — 07 Apr 2009 at 19:46:06
Guestbook Editor: Thanks for the feedback! We'll make sure it gets to our editor who's working hard on new Geography books for the new syllabus starting in September.
CGP have not mispelt "Sulphur". The "ph" has now been dropped and changed to an "f". Hence it's now spelt Sulfur.

I am helping my daughter prepare for her GCSE Science in June 2009. The Core Science Revision Guide is very good in terms of readability and has helped her understand the concepts. However, I am disappointed in the spelling/grammar mistakes I have found e.g. sulfur instead of sulphur, formulas instead of formulae and 'loads' instead of 'lots'.
Richard Young — Chester, United Kingdom — 05 Apr 2009 at 17:10:22
Your books are by far the best, but I''m a bit disapointed to see that there isn''t a GCSE History revision guide covering Germany 1919-45 and the history of Medicine, as this is what my exams are on.

Your books have been brilliant and I will definitely use them at A-Level as well!

Hello. I have a very pressing matter, which I am sure you will answer, as you are a perfect company - well almost. Your GCSE RE Workbook and GCSE Music Workbook have no places to write your answers! I mean are you supposed to revise and then just write the stuff from the workbook onto paper? People won't want to do that, please change them. It's a small little thing you can do to make CGP a better company!

I have used the KS2 Continuous Assessment Test Papers for the Autumn and Spring Term and will use them again in the Summer Term. So far I have found them exceptionally good, covering topics in a logical order and all children have raised their standards throughout the year, as I have used the CGP workbooks, mental workbooks, in addition to the regular Maths curriculum books and these assessments are fantastic. Just want the progress tracker for these, instead of creating my own!

I have just bought some of your books and I know that you try hard to send them out for the next day. I was wondering do you use Royal Mail or a courier?
Will — Reading, United Kingdom — 02 Apr 2009 at 12:28:36
Guestbook Editor: It really depends on how many books you've ordered — if it's small number of books we'll send them first class in the post, but if it's a box full we'll send them by courier. With any luck your books should be with you today.
I've just ordered some AS-Level Revision Guides. I've used CGP books for Year 6 SATS, Year 9 SATS, GCSEs and AS-Level. I've loved them and they've been a great help. I think some of them like the AS-Level Maths ones need to be a bit thicker - more pages needed therefore a little more explanation on each topic with more examples on the different types of questions that could be asked. Overall they are great!

Hi, this website is very good!
Yaya — Camden, United Kingdom — 01 Apr 2009 at 20:39:02
I really love these books there great for revision. But could I possibly view the full book?
Jack Smith — Leeds, United Kingdom — 01 Apr 2009 at 20:20:46
Guestbook Editor: We're really glad you like our books. The reason we don't show all the pages of the books on the website is because if we did then no one would buy our books. If no one bought our books, we wouldn't make enough pennies to make any lovely new books! If you do buy a book from us and then find it's not what you need, just return it and we'll give you a full refund — no problem. Hope this helps.
CGP. I think I have to tell you something. Your KS3 books are pointless! There is no point as there are no exams in Years 7-9! Are you crazy or what?
The Crazy Piña — , United Kingdom — 01 Apr 2009 at 18:42:02
Guestbook Editor: You're right that the Year 9 SATS are no more — but we think those crafty teachers will still want know how you're doing with the odd test here and there. Our KS3 books are matched to the National Curriculum, so they cover exactly the stuff you'll be learning in Years 7 to 9.
These books are fantastic! They've really helped me with my SATS and I got a 4b. Really happy about that but I got that book from school. Waiting for my mum to get paid and I'm gonna buy loads. Next time you know I'll be on a 5a. I'm hoping I'll get 5 book's I can't wait.

I rate these books very highly, they have been a very good source of information and are very easy to read both for adults and children.
