Dear CGP People.
I would like to say that I think your books are AMAZING! I joined year 10 last September only to find I had and upcoming Science exam and a rubbish teacher. If it was not for your books I KNOW I would have failed. My knowledge used in the exam was based purely on my revision from my Science Revision Guide and gained me full marks! Thank You soooo much. I am about to start revision for my next modular Science exam and intend to use exactly the same method of revision!

The books are really great at helping with revision but the online resources could be improved by including more subjects

Rose — Birmingham , United Kingdom — 30 Mar 2010 at 17:54:40

Hi your books are great. My daughter is currently home-schooled & your books are a fantastic resource for her to keep up with the national cirriculum.

Very nice site!

Your books are brilliant! I find the explanations really helpful and clear, especially in KS3 Maths!

Olivia — Bury , United Kingdom — 30 Mar 2010 at 14:43:22

I need Geology books! and Music AS books!

Ed — Orpington, United Kingdom — 30 Mar 2010 at 14:08:33

Great service, I sent an email and got a call back with good advice; which I took and now I'm just waiting for the books :)

Kate — Brighton, United Kingdom — 29 Mar 2010 at 12:53:54

Where is the German KS3 books?? !! :@

Tyler Smith — Kettering, United Kingdom — 29 Mar 2010 at 10:59:42

Guestbook Editor: To track down KS3 German books on the website, click on 'Our Books', choose 'KS3', then 'Languages'. You'll find German and French in that section.

I agree with the comment below about the Geography A2 book. I got full marks last year and believe this is mostly due to your book.
Yes you have answered the plea for A2 Geography, but the people that want the book will hopefully be at university by the time it's produced. You have had plenty of time to produce a book and I can't believe it has come bottom of your priorities. You even have a Sociology book written!

Kathryn Styan — Evesham, United Kingdom — 29 Mar 2010 at 10:30:01

I loved your AS Geography book, it basically saved my life last year and I got great mark thanks to you! However just found out there is no A2 Geography book until 2011 when I'm doing my exam this June. This makes me very depressed as it means I'm going to have to listen to my teacher's ramblings a lot more than rely on your amazing concise notes. Thanks a lot! Hahaha

Eddy — Reading , United Kingdom — 28 Mar 2010 at 15:56:08

Guestbook Editor: Maybe you could ask your teacher to wear sunglasses and a baseball cap to make him look a bit more 'CGP'? It might help with the depression, at least.

Hi CGP people. I'm about 4 months into my first GCSE module for maths and I'm not very good at it. My maths teacher is really confusing sometimes, but my sister gave me your books and there really helpful! I love all the bright colours and the way of making the important stuff stand out. I've already gone from a level 6 to a 7! Thanks very much, keep writing! :)

Nikki — Guernsey, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2010 at 18:31:23

I liked the books they have helped me with my maths.

Hozaifh — Preston, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2010 at 14:43:16

I find your books amazing. I've used them via the school for my older two children. They have done really well in their sats. My 11 year old graded well above average and my son is not far behind. He is a year younger and we believe he will achieve the same results. My youngest daughter is about to sit her KS1 sat papers and hoping the practice run will give her good results too. I think you should publicise yourself more as I didn't think I could obtain these work books except via the schools. I stumbled across your website purely by chance.

Priti Patel — Leicester , United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2010 at 12:39:24

Guestbook Editor: You mean you never saw the fleet of CGP hot-air balloons? We need to change our advertising agency.

Why don't you supply the latest AQA Anthology guide? The one you have at the moment has Education for Lesuire - THAT HAS BEEN REMOVED AND REPLACED!!!

Ned — Carterton, United Kingdom — 27 Mar 2010 at 09:19:37

Guestbook Editor: 'Education for Leisure' is still in the most recent edition (ADHR42), but there's a note to say that it's only included in the pre-2009 exams. 'Stealing', the poem that replaced it, is covered on the next page. There's always a bit of an overlap when GCSE courses change, so we covered both poems to make sure everyone had the notes they needed. And of course, we're making a set of books that'll cover the new AQA Anthology that's coming in September. Phew.

Used this book again and this time it was only the 2nd I used it and it helped me get a 7C and at the start of this year I was only on a 4A. I am really proud of myself on how much progress i' ve made this year.

Thanks CGP if it had not been for u i would still be on a 4A

Terri — Kingshurst, United Kingdom — 26 Mar 2010 at 18:50:16

Excellent workbooks and revision guides recommended by my daughter's tutor - but also such a user friendly website! I don't like ordering things online, but your website made it so easy, thank you.

Suzanne Ahwai — London, United Kingdom — 26 Mar 2010 at 12:30:07

I think that it is shocking that you do not provide A2 Mathematics revision guides.

Victoria — Corsham, United Kingdom — 26 Mar 2010 at 11:12:26

Hoya, GCSE revision guides really good, but I was wondering whether you could apply your amazing GCSE guides to qualifications like BTEC's and OCR's?

Great web site - really user friendly and very well set out. Just one problem - I had difficulty in being able to delete just one item out of my basket - I had to empty the whole basket and start again!!

Andrea Sanderson — Preston, United Kingdom — 25 Mar 2010 at 19:40:30

Guestbook Editor: Sorry you've had problems, but this one's easy to fix. To delete a book from your shopping basket, change the quantity (Qty) to '0', then click on 'Update Quantities'. It'll disappear without affecting your other purchases. Hooray!

Soooo... just wondering why you have Edexcel maths revision guides for all the AS topics, but not A2? I'm thinking that's kinda silly... so could you make C3 C4 and S2 guides before May please?

Zoe — Watford, United Kingdom — 25 Mar 2010 at 10:37:16

Guestbook Editor: Yikes — we do have plans for A2 Maths, but May might be cutting it a bit fine. It'll take months just to think up all those puns about calculus.

I have just bought one of your books on KS2 maths so I can help my son. I am really impressed with the content and value. I have bought many books in the past but will be going straight for the CGP books in future. Great book well done!

Andrea Scrafton — Stockton on Tees , United Kingdom — 25 Mar 2010 at 10:20:12

CGP books is really useful for my GCSE exams because I always wishes that I pass my exams with good grades. I hope it's good enough to spread books for teenagers who have exams in the future. Good luck to teens who will have exams. Once a time I love CGP & I will support CGP!

Hi - it would help if one could search by the ISBN number... apart from that very helpful site.... Thanks

Tony Page — Christchurch, United Kingdom — 24 Mar 2010 at 18:46:37

Hey there you wonderful makers of CGP, i absolutely adore your books they're soo cute and i love the lil drawings of the really cute men with the shades hes awsome. By the way im gay, so call me ;)
Oh yeah about the book its soo cool, eveything on it is just so colourful and fun! I love it love it love it you beautiful man child. :)

Oh my god I absolutely love CGPs they're amazing and soo easy to revise with I have ordered many CGP books and they help me a lot in my GCSE exams! :)

Elena — Middlesbrough, United Kingdom — 23 Mar 2010 at 20:03:16

My son isn't so keen on studying and revising, but the other day a friend who recently sat their GCSE's went through one of your books with him and he actually listened and learned....it was brilliant! His younger sister, looking over his shoulder, commented saying the books look "really fun". I then ordered and incredibly promptly received a whole set of books for both my children (yr's 9 and 6) and look forward to using them. By the way, the friend who recommended them passed all 10 GCSE's with A*/A's. Brilliant!

Any chance of an A2 AQA Human Biology guide? Found the AS guide and the chemistry guides very useful!

Rachael — Manchester , United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2010 at 20:14:52

I think your books are great but your site is RUBBISH it doesn't give you any information at all. I cannot afford your books but I have access to the internet at school and it does not give me the information I need :(

Lydia — London, United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2010 at 18:52:29

Hey, just want to say we love your books. We don't bother going to school any more. Except to pick up our books when they arrive each year. Oh, and just out of interest, what font do you use in the main pages of your A2 chemistry book?

Your Class — London , United Kingdom — 22 Mar 2010 at 17:23:08

Guestbook Editor: Kids — stay in school. Or are you the teachers? (The font is a closely guarded trade secret — it's definitely not Optima. Nope.)

Is there going to be a Geography A2 Edexcel revision guide?

Bethany — Leeds, United Kingdom — 21 Mar 2010 at 21:59:21

Guestbook Editor: Not just yet. But the future is a mysterious place. (STOP PRESS! There'll be something A2-Geography-shaped arriving from CGP in early 2011. More details soon...)

Well, thanks CGP - I am terrible at my maths and am a level 4 and the level 4 targeted study book is helping me for my sats well done.

Paris — York, United Kingdom — 21 Mar 2010 at 16:58:06

Guestbook Editor: Glad the book is helping, but we bet you're dead good at maths really...

I think that your revision books are well nice!! They actually help me in my tests, CGP is one of the best revision guides I have ever had, they are funny and while it's fun reading, you learn things. Thanks a lot!

Katrina Nethercott — Cambridge, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2010 at 14:16:19

NAVEED — BURNLEY, United Kingdom — 19 Mar 2010 at 02:12:51

I've been a fan of CGP for over 10 years, they haven't let me down yet, oh except in being deeeeeeeeaaaaaaaad sloooooooooooow in producing a book for A2 maths!! Get it sorted!! (please :D ) And eat more carrots, they're good for you. But not too many, you may turn orange.

Maths Crazy — Chester , United Kingdom — 18 Mar 2010 at 21:32:41

Guestbook Editor: That's slightly vague advice. If you're really as Maths Crazy as you claim, perhaps you could knock up a system of differential equations that describes the optimum carrot consumption according to age, body mass etc? Thanks.

I just bought the brilliant CGP GCSE ICT revison guide and GCSE English revision guide. They are both brilliant books, and they are excellent for top quality revision. I recommend students who are starting or currently doing their GCSEs to buy these brilliant revision guides, and trust me. You won't regret it. Revision, made easy by CGP.

Jaswinder — Ilford, United Kingdom — 18 Mar 2010 at 19:42:49

Guestbook Editor: Are you after my job?

Why don't you do a CGP A2 revision guide for Geography when you do the AS one?

Niki — London, United Kingdom — 18 Mar 2010 at 12:43:41

Hi CGP, just to say your books have really helped me in my Core Science modules, and that I felt really comfortable in the exams because of your books helping me revise, if I am honest, I prefer to revise from your books than learn from ordinary school text books! Thanks and hopefully I get A*'s in my results!

Azhar — Dartford, United Kingdom — 17 Mar 2010 at 22:18:41

Well i think with revising with CGP books i can get i AS and 3As. So i give CGP 5/5 as a good revison book. But the website needs improving, e.g: jokes, online books reading and etc.

Mohammed Asad Ullah — London, United Kingdom — 17 Mar 2010 at 20:05:51

Guestbook Editor: Aw, what's wrong with our jokes? Our Mums think we're funny.

WOW!! I love CGP Books! I use them all the time. I have around 500 myself. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU CGP AND ALL THE CGP STAFF!!

Chloe — Camberley, United Kingdom — 16 Mar 2010 at 19:29:25

Guestbook Editor: 500 CGP books? We're impressed — we reckon you must be on course for at least 285 GCSEs with that little collection.

You should have tests for children to do.

Teresa — Bristol, United Kingdom — 15 Mar 2010 at 16:12:53

Guestbook Editor: We love tests! Have a look at our Workbooks and Practice Papers, and the practice questions in our Revision/Study Guides for starters. There's plenty to keep even the testiest student busy.

Congratulations on one of the best sets of non-fiction books for children ever produced in any language. I'm strongly recommending your books on all of my CPD courses, and am using them to help teachers studying for GCSEs in new languages.

Nasser — London, United Kingdom — 15 Mar 2010 at 07:28:40

CGP is the best revision guide ever! I have had a huge confidence boost since I started using them. They are clear, concise and funny and don't use any boring words that sound like they come from a different planet. I will continue to use them until I have finished school. Maybe I will read them for a laugh afer that. I think that they should become a book to swear by. If you don't have any then you don't know what you're missing!

Nikkie — Hertford, United Kingdom — 14 Mar 2010 at 19:40:04

Guestbook Editor: There's a lot of swearing by CGP books going on at the moment. We're glad you like them.

These books are fab! Can you consider doing a Latin one please??? :)

Rebecca — Manchester, United Kingdom — 14 Mar 2010 at 14:53:05

Hi, do you think you'll be bringing out an AS Maths, Stats for AQA revision book between now and June?

Lauren — Bedford, United Kingdom — 14 Mar 2010 at 14:03:51

Guestbook Editor: We've got exciting plans for A-Level Maths, but there won't be an AQA-specific Stats book in time for June, I'm afraid.

ever since i first got one of your revision guides i have sworn by them. they have gotten me through some of the hardest exams i have taken, and the jokes on the back make them even better. However you don't make a GCSE Systems and Control revision guide which is kind of discouraging as i'm the only girl in my class. Could you please make one so that other only girls class can get a good chance of a great grade.

Olivia — Yeovil, United Kingdom — 13 Mar 2010 at 18:50:47

My daughter swears by your revision guides, but you do not have one for AS level Economics. Why Not?? It is a subject that is ever increasing in popularity!!

Micheal Hepher — London, United Kingdom — 13 Mar 2010 at 15:57:30

Guestbook Editor: The world could do with some CGP-trained economists at the moment — we'll definitely keep it in mind.

CGP all I can say is a thank you. Your books are easy to understand , lots of colour which the brain loves and your GCSE English guide is AMAZ-ING. I'm gonna buy science now! I hope it helps me get that A* i've been wanting, since my school books confuse me! You're my only hope!!

Thanks again though!

Steph — London, United Kingdom — 13 Mar 2010 at 12:06:56

Zoexx :) — Chafford Hundred , United Kingdom — 13 Mar 2010 at 11:06:38

Our A2 Chemistry class swear by our well-used CGP revision guides. In fact, we're sadly known to remember all the jokes from each topic... sometimes not much else! ...Leading to very unusual end of unit test marks. On the the other hand, I must admit, I've never got anything below an A and have only used CGP, not my textbook, and not my notes.

Rebecca — London, United Kingdom — 11 Mar 2010 at 20:52:53

I'd like to say, I'm in my second year of GCSE's and some of my teachers at school really don't teach me much because I learn in a strange way, i prefer self-study and teaching myself. These books are perfect for that!!! I have one for every one of my subjects now and they will be my main source of revision over the next few months and I will give them to my younger sister too when the time comes. I really hope to achieve high grades and I truly believe these books will allow me to do so. Thank you everyone at CGP!

We need an A2 Maths guide!! Any plans to do one?

Guestbook Editor: There are - though we can't yet be certain exactly when it will be.

I would like CGP to give more discounts, such as books for 99p every month :)

Hi. I used your AS-geography textbook last year... but now I need your A2 textbook! When will it be written/published? Please make it soon. Your books are fantastic!

Guestbook Editor: Oh dear - not in time for exams this year. Sorry - and best of luck!

Do you, or are you intending to do these books in other alternative formats - large print, pdf, DAISY?

Guestbook Editor: There are options. Could you drop us an e-mail with a bit more detail about which books and formats you might want?
