I really urgently need this book my teacher recommended to me. I do triple science, and the book covers some of the things I wil be learning in year 11, it's an As book for chemistry physics, and biology all in one. Please reply asap!

K — London, United Kingdom — 30 Jul 2010 at 15:54:34

Guestbook Editor: We think you might be looking for our GCSE Extension Science books. If you're doing Triple Science, you'll study Core, Additional and Extension topics — Extension Science is the hardest stuff, so you'll mainly cover it in Year 11. Just click on 'Our Books' (at the top of this page), then choose GCSE Science, followed by Extension Science. Hope that helps.

Thank You ever so much CGP your books are fantastic easy to use. My son who is 8 has taken great interest in your books we brought from WHSmiths. I just discovered your website and it's great so I've ordered all the KS2 books that we needed today. Thank you!

I'm confused
My teacher told me we are doing GCSE for ICT in year 8
Does that mean I need to buy GCSE ICT?

Bhargav — Slough, United Kingdom — 29 Jul 2010 at 18:35:41

Guestbook Editor: Hmm... it's unusual to do GCSEs in Year 8 — double-check with your teacher before you buy, that's our advice.

I used it for GCSE science and found it understandable and very very humorous. Hopefully they have put me in good stead of getting me my grade. Also, I wanted to know why the writing in the books is so close together, and whether you could put any margins in the book for notes?
Anyway, I'm absouletly loving your books.

Stephanie — London, United Kingdom — 29 Jul 2010 at 13:18:18

Guestbook Editor: In our Revision Guides, we try to fit everything you need to know about a topic on to a page (or a double page) so that it's easy to see all the information at a glance. Sometimes this can be a bit of a tight squeeze. If you're after a more spacious CGP experience, our Complete Revision & Practice books are very roomy.

It's a great book although it could have been made better by having a Higher Tier book too. Great job though, you guys at CGP are absolutely fantastic, you've helped me with my revsion so much over the past few years, Love you guys and keep producing these great books.

Your books are awsome im 8 i need a few more tips can you help?

Lucy — Colchester, United Kingdom — 28 Jul 2010 at 16:28:22

Guestbook Editor: If you click on 'Online Resources' at the top of the page, you can have a go at some Key Stage 2 quizzes for English, Maths and Science. More generally, always follow the Green Cross Code, laugh often and, er, never give up on your dreams.

Hiya, I was wondering if you can order a magazine or something from the Internet so that you can have a look at all of the different books you can order? CGP books are very useful! I look forward to using these books in the future (in September)!

Seth — South Harrow , United Kingdom — 27 Jul 2010 at 12:03:09

Guestbook Editor: No problem - just email our lovely customer services people for a copy of our current catalogue (the address is at the top of this page). Oh, and keep an eye on our What's New page to stay up-to-date with the latest hiccup-inducingly exciting new CGP releases!

Why don't you sell the complete plays and handy hints and notes for William Shakespeare's Julius Ceasar and Merchant of Venice?

Lynn Jenkins — Victoria, Canada — 26 Jul 2010 at 21:51:22

Guestbook Editor: Ah, Shakespeare. We love Shakespeare. Our only slight gripe with Shakespeare is that he wrote too many timeless plays for us to be able to give them all the CGP treatment, which was slightly selfish of him. As a compromise, we try to cover the plays that are most popular with schools in the UK.

This site is good but could use some improvements like having more online interactive features.

I thought the Geography AS Revision Guide was great! It really helped me..but there's not a Revision Guide for A2 :(

Katie — Chester , United Kingdom — 25 Jul 2010 at 12:51:12

Guestbook Editor: We're glad you liked the AS Geography book. We're working on a Revision Guide for A2 AQA Geography at the moment — it'll be out next year!

Hi, it's the last day of term and we are about to have tiffin with our cup of tea (No I don't know what that is either!!) Chicken curry and rice for supper tonight!
Enjoy the summer!

Rose — Sevenoaks, United Kingdom — 23 Jul 2010 at 14:52:55

Guestbook Editor: Thanks! Have a great summer yourself — if you have any dull moments during the holidays, you can always fill them by looking forward to the exciting new CGP stuff that's coming in September and beyond! (We squeezed in a bit of subtle self-promotion, there. Did you spot it?)

I like your site but I think it wolud be great if you had live tutors ready to teach with your books for students, what do you think?

buz lightyear — ohio , United States of America — 17 Jul 2010 at 19:29:11

Guestbook Editor: We like it! We could call them Computa-Tutors and make them wear CGP mortarboards or something. We're concentrating on making books at the moment, but we'll keep your idea in mind...

Your books are second to none and easily explain the bits that are hard to grasp - fantastic!

Hilary Rodgers — Spalding, United Kingdom — 17 Jul 2010 at 11:48:53

I think it's a very good site!! I really liked it!!!! It really helped me revise for my Science test!! I would recomend it to anybody!!! Thank you CGP!! A really coooool Website!!!

Sara — London, United Kingdom — 13 Jul 2010 at 19:19:41

I like your CGP books

Arman — Keighley, United Kingdom — 13 Jul 2010 at 19:18:41

Hi, I so love your books- they are A*mazing!!! I was just wondering.... pondering.... well hoping really that you might consider writing revision guides for AS and A level Classics, Archaeology, Ancient History and Philosophy and for GCSEs in Latin and Ancient Greek and perhaps possibly Ancient Eygptian......? I know thats a pretty hefty lota books but I think everyone of them would suit your enjoyably humourous and intelligent style of writing. There are nil revsion guides for any of the above and there isn't even any workbook yet alone revision guide for GCSE Ancient Greek yet- think of the money you would make as the only provider of such a surely best selling book and the admiration you would recieve from all classics devotees across the world! Thanks again, lovin' your books! :D Xx

Rose — Manchester , United Kingdom — 13 Jul 2010 at 17:51:24

Guestbook Editor: Well, we never rule anything out, but I haven't heard any whispers about these subjects on the CGP grapevine. But who knows what the future may bring? If only the Delphic Oracle was still in business...

(Commenting on book RHR42, GCSE Religious Studies Revision Guide

As one of the religions for GCSE I'm doing Hinduism, but it isn't in any revision books... why not? :(

mklyhjh — klj, United Kingdom — 13 Jul 2010 at 14:48:35

Guestbook Editor: We're sorry Hinduism isn't included in our books at the moment. There are loads of units and options for GCSE RS, and unfortunately we couldn't cover them all — our current books cover the options that are taken by the most students.

Fab books that my kids love thank you!

Jo — southampton , United Kingdom — 10 Jul 2010 at 22:02:29

Very nice site!

alexb793 — ttyieepi , Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirate — 09 Jul 2010 at 20:42:39

Just wanted to say how useful these books are! I used them when I was revising for my GCSEs and now I use them to teach the children at school! It covers everything and is written so well. These books are the best!

Neelofa Soma — Nuneaton, United Kingdom — 03 Jul 2010 at 21:15:39

What happened to the Geography A2 book?

LT — WARRINGTON, United Kingdom — 02 Jul 2010 at 08:20:31

Guestbook Editor: Everybody stay calm... A2 Geography is still due out in early 2011. It's just dropped off our 'What's New' page for now to make room for some new contenders.

(Commenting on book PAAR61, A2-Level Physics AQA A Complete Revision & Practice

I am intending to study applied physics, which is not covered in this revision guide, so that's not too good, especially as there is no alternative anywhere, so maybe they should read the Business Studies book about niches in a market.
Other than that, very good book.
