I absolutely love these books! I find theme very useful indeed, but it would be a good idea to introduce IGCSE (CIE) books for science, geography and business studies. The maths IGCSE book is pretty good! So why not introduce IGCSE books for other subjects too?

Spag Bowl tonighttttttt!
p.s just ordered psy,soc and bio as level books

Guestbook Editor: That's a nice collection of 'ologies' you've got there. Enjoy.
Are you going to make any A Level History books? Go on, I won't tell anyone...
Andrew — Birmingham , United Kingdom — 29 Sep 2010 at 18:14:41
Guestbook Editor: That's what my best friend in Year 9 said when I told him I had a crush on our English teacher. It was all over the school the next day. So humiliating. I'm much better at keeping secrets now...
You really need to bring out books for AS/A2 level English Literature B for the AQA syllabus. That would be really helpful.
Ambika — Wolverhampton, United Kingdom — 29 Sep 2010 at 11:31:45
I swear by CGP books. They are so helpful when it comes to revising. I would reccomend these books to anyone who is trying to revise and finding it difficult not to fall asleep! You get what you pay for these books.
Ambika — Wolverhampton, United Kingdom — 29 Sep 2010 at 11:28:20
:) nice books (Y)! but some of them are overcrowded, so there is a lot of information to absorb in. And do you have the history books with the liberal reforms topic, in history?
:) — ;), United Kingdom — 28 Sep 2010 at 19:19:21
Guestbook Editor: Erm, I'm not much of a history expert, I'm afraid. Do you mean the British Liberal Reforms 1906-1914? If so, they're covered in our GCSE Modern World History Revision Guide and our GCSE History Complete Revision & Practice book. You can look at the full contents pages (and sample pages) of these books on this very website — just go to "Our Books" and look up GCSE History. Hooray!
Absolutely fantastic books... love them! used them since year 6 at primary school... and now i'm in year 11, and still using them! it would be great, though, if you could have/get/make some IGCSE books for chemistry and business studies. :)
Rob — Cheshire , United Kingdom — 28 Sep 2010 at 19:09:08
Guestbook Editor: Well, we've just released some spanking new IGCSE Maths books, so maybe (just maybe) IGCSE Science could be next on the list... we'll keep you posted. Have/get/make a nice day!
Why don't your complete revision and practice books contain content from all the other revision books? For example GCSE Physics Complete Revision & Practice (PHS42) doesn't have a page on "Batteries and their uses" which is in the Edexcel book. I didn't notice this before I bought the books and I'm a bit dissapointed. :(
Isam B — Ilford, United Kingdom — 28 Sep 2010 at 18:02:00
Guestbook Editor: We're sorry for any disappointment — we aim to make our Complete Revision & Practice books as comprehensive as we can. They cover all the main topics for every exam board, with tons of exam-style practice questions thrown in for good measure. (The Physics book is a whopping 284 pages long.) But we also try to make sure that most of the content is relevant to most students, so occasionally smaller points from our syllabus-specific books are left out. If you're not totally happy with the books you've ordered, just get in touch with our super-helpful customer services team — they'll be happy to sort out a return or an exchange.
Oh, and the jokes brighten up some otherwise dull biochemistry xx

Just giving you my thanks for helping me through my Science exam the other month. I really thought I wasn't gonna pass, but then i got an A STAR!!! Yes, A STAR!!! It's all down to you (and this amazing teacher at my school) but mainly your amazing books!!! THANK YOU!!! xx

Ha ha! first Chemistry homework for teenage daughter today, me? help you? erm...chemistry? oh, you've asked Dad already... CGP order promptly placed for Chemistry, plus Physics and Biology...just in case!!
Yvonne Jones — Driffield, United Kingdom — 27 Sep 2010 at 19:22:38
Guestbook Editor: You can't be too careful where science is involved. It gets everywhere, and it's a nightmare to wash out of the tablecloth.
I just wanted to tell you that my daughter and I think your CGP books are fantastic. She used them for her GCSE end of first year revision and achieved 4 A's and 2 A stars which we both think was in large part due to the clear and succinct nature of your revision books.
denyse Marshall — plymouth, United Kingdom — 27 Sep 2010 at 16:46:31
Guestbook Editor: Hurrah — excellent results! Clear and succinct, that's us. (Actually, sometimes I find myself rambling on and on about nothing for ages, which is very boring and confusing for everybody concerned. But I'm just the Guestbook Editor, so it's allowed. They don't let me near the books any more. Not after What Happened Last Time.)

Thank you - fingers crossed the books will help my son improve his mental maths strategies...will let you know!

all the revision books with the exam board listed, all in one place, wonderful

I am currently studying for A2 level geography (AQA) and was wondering if the CGP A2 revision guide will be released before the June 2011 exams. This is because I was hoping to use the A2 revision guide in June as the AS level revision guide was a great help and allowed me to achieve 100% in my exam.
chris — walsall , United Kingdom — 23 Sep 2010 at 23:26:30
Guestbook Editor: 100%, eh? Not bad. Not bad at all. We're aiming to have the AQA A2 Geography book ready in time for June 2011, so hopefully it'll be around to help you score another top grade. We want at least 105% this time. Don't let us down.
Excellent books. We ordered the GCSE Philosophy revision guide. Because of that book, our son gained an A (1 mark away from an A*). You guys should make an Economics GCSE book and a Computing (the new ICT Course from OCR) GCSE book.
Sam Johnson — Tunbridge Wells , United Kingdom — 23 Sep 2010 at 19:48:50
Guestbook Editor: That's brilliant news! Except that, er, there isn't a CGP Revision Guide for GCSE Philosophy at the moment. We'll happily take the credit, though — thanks!
Well I only logged on to order some books for our maths co-ordinator and how your website made me smile at such a busy time. I do like your comment about not having anything in my shopping basket, "not a sausage". This made our day,
Tracey Ashton — Bristol, United Kingdom — 23 Sep 2010 at 14:44:57
What a great website! It's so easy to use.
veronica kemp — Dursley, United Kingdom — 23 Sep 2010 at 11:00:43
Hi, I am interested in purchasing KS3 Geography workbooks and study guides but there doesn't seem to be any in the Geography section apart from revision guides. Will you be introducing these in the near future or is it just a fault with the web page section? Thanks.
Mr B — Bradford , United Kingdom — 23 Sep 2010 at 08:12:37
Guestbook Editor: Sorry... we're not currently planning separate Revision Guides and Workbooks for KS3 Geography. But! Our Complete Revision & Practice book combines study notes and practice questions for each topic, so there's plenty in there to keep students busy.
Thank you for answering my other questions before.
I understand that a book for D2 will not be out for 2010/2011 but are ther any plans to release a D2 book in the future.
Isam B — Ilford, United Kingdom — 22 Sep 2010 at 20:25:26
Guestbook Editor: You're very welcome. We're not planning any books for the D2 modules of A2 Maths just yet, but we're very open-minded. Who knows what the future may hold?
Hi CGP! Just a note to say I've ordered your AMAZING books for my GCSE's and they are brilliant. Written superbly, good illustrations, all round winners. Just asking about the Science books - I am doing the Edexcel Separate Sciences at Higher Level - so I bought the three separate books to accompany the course. But I noticed that for the GCSE Core and Additional Science you have them at Foundation and Higher Level - what level are the separate science guides? (:
Alexander — Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom — 22 Sep 2010 at 19:56:45
Guestbook Editor: Hi! Thanks for your kind words. You'll be pleased to hear that the GCSE Edexcel Separate Sciences books cover everything you'll need for Higher level, so you won't miss a single trick. (That was a figure of speech — there are no tricks in our GCSE Science books. Just science.)
If i send in some of my writing will u tell me if it's good or not xx
Chloe cole — Kings lynn , United Kingdom — 22 Sep 2010 at 19:31:04

Will there be any a-level books for further maths

Any plans for AS/A2 History guides?
David — Northwich , United Kingdom — 16 Sep 2010 at 20:10:13
CGP books are the best revision books out there. It would be brilliant if there was more on A2 maths such as Core 3 & 4 and mechanics on OCR. thanks
Patrick — London , United Kingdom — 16 Sep 2010 at 19:02:18
Guestbook Editor: You've read our minds — new AS and A2 Maths books for OCR A and OCR MEI are on their way early next year. There's more information a bit further down this page (four comments down, to be exact).
There are not any AS Religious Studies revision guides? Are you planning to make any?
Sehrish — Blackburn, United Kingdom — 16 Sep 2010 at 16:03:38
This is the first time i have bought from CGP. The books are for my 15 year old daughter really hope they help her.
Julie — seaham, United Kingdom — 15 Sep 2010 at 23:14:36
Is this content exactly the same as the AS level business studies for AQA and A2 level business studies for AQA?
claudia — torquay, United Kingdom — 15 Sep 2010 at 21:24:29
Guestbook Editor: Yep — it's exactly the same content, bundled together in a single convenient book.
Will your new A level Maths books cover all of the Core, Mechanics, Statistics and Decision modules for all of the exam boards?
Andrew — Birmingham , United Kingdom — 15 Sep 2010 at 19:43:14
Guestbook Editor: Here's the word from CGP's A-Level Maths guru: "For both AS and A2, there'll be Edexcel, AQA, OCR A and OCR (MEI) versions, plus general books that cover all exam boards. All the AS books will cover C1, C2, M1, S1 and D1. All the A2 books will cover C3, C4, M2 and S2." There's more info below...
You said the Edexcel A2 maths books will be released in November but what about other exam boards (specifically OCR)?
Also will the generic complete revision and practice book contain all applied modules (M1, M2, S1, S2, D1, D2) or just the A2 standard applied modules (M2, S2, D2) needing you to buy a AS book for the others or none of them alltogether?
Finally are there any plans to release a book for AS and A2 Further Maths?
Thanks for your time.
Isam B — Ilford, United Kingdom — 15 Sep 2010 at 17:05:00
Guestbook Editor: We haven't pinned down definite release dates for the non-Edexcel books yet, but we're aiming for early 2011. We're making separate books for AS and A2 — see the comment above for details of the modules that'll be covered. And finally... we don't have any Further Maths books in the pipeline at the moment. Thanks for your questions!
It's a pity you don t have any IB books :(
I love the jokes in the AS Biology Revision guide.
Your books are so goood @ explaining & making the subject entertaining, you should make textbooks!
Marion — Stockholm, Sweden — 15 Sep 2010 at 10:15:40
I'm having salad for tea. I think I am going to buy the Biology revision book but it seems a bit early! I haven't had a CGP book before it's exciting.
Emma B — Hull, United Kingdom — 14 Sep 2010 at 18:27:56
Guestbook Editor: It's never too early to start swotting up on Biology, we say. Since you've got some time to spare, it's worth asking your teacher which exam board you're studying — that way you can get the Revision Guide that suits your course perfectly. How exciting is that?
(Commenting on book SXHR41, GCSE Additional Science Edexcel Revision Guide - Higher
Hi I am doing a triple science award at my school and we are following the Edexcel exams. At the minute we are doing C1b and C2 — will I need two different books for these or not as I already have the Core Edexcel science revision guide do I need another??? sorry for being long winded!!! Charlotte x
Charlotte — Shropshire, United Kingdom — 14 Sep 2010 at 18:01:47
Guestbook Editor: Our Edexcel 360 Core Science Revision Guide (the book you've already got) covers B1, C1 and P1. If you want to revise B2, C2 and P2, you'll need our Edexcel 360 Additional Science Revision Guide — just go to 'Our Books' and search for SXHR41 (Higher level) or SXFR41 (Foundation level). Hope that helps.
Oh, and I'm having sausages for tea.

Guestbook Editor: Sausages for tea, brand-new CGP books tomorrow. Life doesn't get much better than that.
Buying from CGP for the first time - always "borrowed" other people's copies before! Worth it? Oh yes! Looking forward to having my own copies!
Helen — Ilminster, United Kingdom — 14 Sep 2010 at 13:25:39
Do you have any resources for ICT at KS3 or GCSE level?
Jenni Parry — Eastham , United Kingdom — 14 Sep 2010 at 13:07:32
Guestbook Editor: We certainly do. Just click on 'Our Books' (at the top of this page), tell us who you are, then select 'Technology' underneath KS3 or GCSE. ICT will pop up as one of the options.
I've been teaching students with your books for years now, and they are certainly a huge help. I am now teaching Music BTEC at levels 2 and 3, and a CGP study guide would help with that immeasurably - any plans for one?
R Dickson — London, United Kingdom — 14 Sep 2010 at 12:00:24

I purchased a complete set of revision books for my son's GCSE subjects which he used extensively for his exam revision. They were excellent and I would certainly recommend them to anyone. As they say the results speak for themselves, he managed to gain A*s and A’s in all his subjects. Thanks CGP.

I've been using CGP books for 11 years now. My youngest recently started school and I found they were as relevant now as they were 11 years ago. Each of my children has loved them, found them FUN and they're so easy to dip in to when specific topics come up at school to consolidate what they're learning there. Great for keeping up to date with the way children are taught in school. They were also great when I home educated.

Today, I sat in the back of my dad's car looking out of the window and i was rather sad, because we were coming home from our time in the lake district. We drove past a pub called the high cross inn, and then i saw a big shiny sign and it said CGP and i was like :O that must be where my science, maths, french and history books have came from! :D

What does CGP stand for?
Imogen — Surrey , United Kingdom — 11 Sep 2010 at 19:34:48
Guestbook Editor: Here's the sensible answer: CGP stands for Coordination Group Publications. Catchy, eh? Now that you know that, why not read our not-very-sensible company history?
Thank you so much for these resources. I love the way they are child friendly, easy to read and understand. My son thoroughly enjoys using them as this will often lead to further discussions after he has done the activities in workbook :). This has paved the way for his future and for my two younger daughters. Thankyou
