Up to £25k (depending on experience) plus excellent benefits

As the UK’s No.1 Educational Publisher, we sell over £35m worth of books and digital resources each year — and we’re still growing.  With lots of new products in the pipeline, we need two bright, organised and commercially astute graduates to come and join us.

If you’re excited at the thought of a career in Marketing and love the idea of a graduate role based in the Lake District, you’d best read on.  You’ll need to have some work experience though — either post-uni or maybe a commercial work placement as part of your course.

As a Marketing Executive, you’ll manage launch campaigns for new products and devise activities to promote our existing ranges to schools.  Working with several in-house departments, you’ll be responsible for everything from forecasting product sales to signing off final marketing materials.  In time, there’s scope to take ownership of key markets and run your own projects. As well as having a strong academic background, you’ll need to be:

  • Commercially aware and numerate
  • Driven — motivated by knowing your effort directly impacts sales (and profit)
  • Meticulous with a creative eye to know what looks good
  • A self-starter with real initiative, who’s good at managing your own time
  • A real team player and the perfect fit for our fun, friendly team
